- world class hypocrite by aashimar ... 80.5k words and 9/10 chapters (EPILOGUE PLEASE PLEASE UPLOAD). read tags! explicit sex scenes throughout but its staged post-canon. this fic made me SICK. rinsagi au where isagi was outed as gay by rin before the wc and his life was basically ruined afterwards. the LONGING and RESENTMENT in this is the absolute peak of society. both rin and isagis characters are written so amazingly like theyre so flawed and theyre very messy people but theyre like really actually in love with each other. they say a lot of fucked up shit to each other but i still swear by this fic! the plot was SO SO intriguing and the way its written is really realistic. the chemistry is absolutely INSANE in this fic. my personal fav bllk fic and one of my fav fics ever! belongs in the hof tbh

Before I start I would like to apologize for any spelling mistakes or wrong grammar, english is not my native language, thanks !

This is technically my 7th post on Tumblr, but I havent posted in.. a good while. I doubt anyone even remembers, but I posted some imagines and headcanons, that I now have privated.

I privated them all mostly becuase I`m honestly not into writing like that anymore and it also feels pretty wierd to me now(ㅠ﹏ㅠ) NO HATE THOUGH ! I respect fan written stuff so much, and I used to love it so much, but I think i might have just outgrown it? I turned 19 this year and A LOT has changed in my life the last few years.

But more about why I`m making THIS post ! •ᴗ•

For some reason blogging has been so appealing to me lately, and its gonna make me work more on my english again ! I used to love writing and my english was honestly pretty good, but after I stopped writing it went so downhill to be honest ·‿· yay. So I will start blogging ! Wether people tune in or not is honestly not that important to me, Im just doing this for myself, but if you decide to follow along, you`re very welcome ! ♡⸜(ˆᗜˆ˵ )⸝♡

Right now Im realy unsure if Im going to do a sort of introduction right now, or if I`m going to make it a whole seperate post?

I do want to be real and honest here though, but I dont want to share too much about myself, mostly for privacy reasons and becuase the internet is a scary place ˙◠˙ But I`ll still be me ! ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ

I am 19, as I previously stated, turned 19 this year

I enjoy a lot of shows/movies, but some I used to love a lot more a few years ago. Like Wayne, which is actually the reason I joined Tumblr.... ( °ヮ° ) SIDE STORY↴

I somehow found the show WAYNE, dont remember how or when, but after watching it I was looking into headcanons or imagines about it on google and found a post on Tumblr, I had never used or heard of it before, but I made an account and I was mindblown seeing this platform and it became my go to app for so long.

I was SUCH a Potterhead like.. 3 years ago I`d say. Looking back... I hate it, but at the same time I enjoyed it so much back then and I would just dream about it all day long, wishing it was all real. It was really my escape from reality.

I also fell into the TMR fandom (The Maze Runner). It also became a comfort show to me, but that faze didnt last very long. Still love the movies though, same for Harry Potter.

I just really like watching stuff and I honestly need to have something running in the background when doing legit anything(ㅠ﹏ㅠ) Like right now... I have some youtube video about South Park characters in the background while I write...

I really enjoy drawing and thats also something Im working on ! Like writing, I used to draw and paint a lot when I was younger, but I stopped that as well for some reason. So last year I bought a sketchbook to work oon finding my own art style and expressing my feelings through "art" ( ᵔ ᴗ ᵔ ) And Im really enjoying it right now !

I added only 3 photos, but one is a pink jellyfish and the 2 other are drawings of Stan and Kyle from South Park•ᴗ• The Stan and Kyle drawings looked better before I decided to outline them (legit regretting it so much) I found the shittiest pen ever becuase I coulndt find one with a small tip :,) I`m still trying to figure out my art style so please dont hate.. 𓁹‿𓁹 HEH.

I do enjoy fashion, but I wouldnt say my style is that great, especially on the daily. That is mostly becuase I currently work in a kindergarten and I dont want to wear clothes is actually care about at work, so I end up in just sweats and some old sweater (ㅠ﹏ㅠ)

I honestly dont really hang out with friends a whole lot anymore, but Im trying to do more with them now that spring is on its way ! Like this weekend, Ive asked some friends to go grilling and I`m really excited !(∩˃o˂∩)♡ YIPPIEEEEE !

All in all this blogg is just gonna be my own little space to let our feelings, work on my english and document things in my life !

Last TV Show: I've been watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood again aND IT'S SO GOOODDDDD i've missed this show sm. i am noticing that some of the early elements do actually fall kinda flat compared to 2003 tho. Like the early characterization of Hughes and Mustang and his men. YOU DON'T EVEN SEE HUGHES FIGHT LIKE AT ALL. HE THROWSEXACTLY ONE KNIFE but it's still really good overall :)

Sweet, savory or spicy: Due to my diet i don't actually get to eat all that many savory snacks so i savour them when i can and bc of that they mean SO much more to me

Relationship status: i'm dating someone! it's a little messy atm due to external circumstances but we immediately clicked so well that our first date was three days long (and then we called for hours the following two days) god 🩷

Last thing i searched: "firefox vertical tabs" BC I JUST LEARNT THAT'S A THING, I HAD NO IDEA

looking forward to: d&d tonight, i'm seeing someone else tomorrow (at least, that's the idea, fingers crossed) and i'm gonna order an airconditioner! it's wild that it's already necessary in spring here nowadays (for my sun-facing studio anyway). global warming is truly undeniable. but!! i'll actually survive this summer without a melted brain this time around! i'm also looking forward to seeing the person i'm dating again :) whenever that'll be (the universe is being extremely homophobic towards us in particular)

I’m about to have a genuine emotional outburst because ive just had a realisation thats shaken me to my core. And im sharing it here.

For bordering three years now, one of my largest and main interests (basically my big hyperfixation) has been the Sam and Max Franchise. I love the comics, the blip of a cartoon, the LucasArts game and all the TellTale games (i personally despise the vr game but thats a discussion for another time).

One of the many things i enjoy about Sam and Max (other than absolutely everything) is their appearance in poker night. Specifically their joint appearance in Poker Night 2.

Now just recently, I’ve started to get really into the Re-Animator movies. I’ve gone the full monty, obsessively rewatching the first two movies (fuck beyond reanimator, but yet again: topic for another time), drawing it obsessively, talking non-stop about it- god i’ve even been considering actually reading the novelisation.

What im trying to say is as of current, im both very fond of Sam and Max and Re-animator.

Now, just the other day, i discovered that the Evil Dead series have had a few crossovers with Re-Animator, and it’s somewhat relevant within a lot of re-animator fans. So therefore, Evil Dead and Re-Animator are connected.

Finally, onto whats really stressing me:

Most recent series: Watching The Last of Us - really enjoying this series but I think season one still has the edge it is perfect tv. S2 having a narrative split across more seasons/years makes it less sastifying but I did love the flashback episode!

Most recent film: She Said, the story behind the article that broke the Harvey Weinstein case. This film was so stressful to watch I swear but very good and powerful. Very respectful in how it approaches sexual assault, which is described by the women but never shown or exploited for shock value.

Working on: Very slowly working on a Maysilee Donner as Katniss and Peeta's mentor fic. I've been very creatively blocked lately so been taking it slowly when writing but I will share a sneak peak because it will probably be months until I finish it:

This girl may be District Twelve’s first volunteer.  Primrose has to be dragged away as the girl climbs the stairs to the stage. She stands beside Effie, face stoney. Maysilee follows her gaze, on her sister, still sobbing. Asterid gathers her in her arms, tears in her own eyes.  “Katniss Everdeen,” the girl says when Effie prompts her. Maysilee turns to her.  She hadn’t known either of Asterid’s children's names until today. Now she and all of the Panem won’t forget them. This is Distinct Twelve’s biggest news since she won.  “Didn’t want your sister to have all the glory,” Effie chirps.  Katniss’ jaw clenches as she stays silent.   “A round of applause for our tribute.”  Then a strange thing happens. Fingers touch lips. Hand after hand raises in the sky. A symbol of respect, mourning, and district pride.  A poster, Maysilee thinks with a thrill.  Katniss has already achieved what she had always tried. She had done something kind and radical and brave in face of the unfairness of the games. And all of Panem would see. Her volunteering is too dramatic, too memorable to be cut out of the broadcast.

Its about his struggle w his faith and being tempted by the devil (azazeel) its been fun reading this after playing AC origins cuz whenever he mentions sections of Alexandria (like the Jewish quarter & the old temple of Serapus- ) I can actually 'see' what he's talking about Kali the Black Goddess of Dakshineswar by Elizabeth Harding - a very detailed description of tantric worship in India, the author recounts the lives of various tantric sages like Bamakhepa and Ramakrishna Nakba- Palestine, 1948, and the Claims of Memory by Sa'di & Lila Abu-Lughod - a collection of essays from Palestinians detailing their lives following the nakba

Last Book: basic answer, but it’s Sunrise of the Reaping by Suzanne Collins. Borrowed it from a friend and finished it within days. Great fun, but I also cried the whole time reading the last two chapters. Also loved how much online discussion there was about a book, it felt like this really big book club.

Last Movie: So in the middle of her obsession with the Knights of the Round Table my friend also had a short interlude obsession with The Three Musketeers so we’ve watched these two french movies: Les trois mousquetaires: D'Artagnan & Les trois mousquetaires: Milady. Both very fun, I did simp a lot for Athos’s brother; D‘Artagnan was very unhinged we love to see it, not enough Porthos though.

Last TV show: Recently I've watched Alles Finster (Eng: Everything is dark) for the second time. It’s an austrian comedy drama set in a small austrian village during an europe-wide blackout. Very fun. Made me somehow more and less worried about a possible blackout. Also there is a hot priest.

Oh fuck i forgot about The Heart Killers!! So we are also currently watching The Heart Killers. It’s very unhinged and we are having a lot of fun. We're currently at episode 6 i think? Big fan of Fadel, I didn’t really like Style in the beginning but he kinda grew on me. We're also fully convinced Kant is gonna die, like how is he gonna get himself out of this mess?

Current Obsession: I think I am already kinda at the end of this obsession, but after I read SotR I started to read Hunger Games fanfictions again and i found this Percy Jackson crossover fanfiction about Percy getting isekaied into the Hunger Games universe, and oh my god it was so good. It’s not completed yet so hopefully there is a new chapter soon, but I read the current 136k words in about a day and since then I have re-read many chapters.

Looking Forward to: oh so many things. So soon I finally have my appointment with a psychiatrist about my ADHD, very excited about that. Also Andor Season 2 is gonna be release next week!! Gonna watch it with my sister and her boyfriend, hopefully it’s as good as the first season. Also very excited about Season 2 of Pit Babe. We have decided to avoid spoilers as much as possibe so I haven’t watched the trailer though I have seen a few gif sets and pictures so I know some things. Unlike with Andor I don’t have to hope for it to be good, cause the first season was already pretty wild and I am watching with friends so no matter how bad it’s gonna be, we are gonna have very much fun.

HI <3 Sheith VC anon here back with a very humble request. So I've read TVL and am currently reading QoTD, just finished the Devil's Minion chapter (oH mY gOD my HEART). I'm going through the books a bit slowly bc life stuff, but I have sooooo many thoughts and feelings and feel like I need to read lots of fic to work through it LOL. I would love it if you could rec me some (or tons of!) fics that wouldn't give me (m)any spoilers re: stuff that happens after this point in the series. I realize this might be a kind of hard/maybe impossible request because a lot of those spoilers would be referring to things that chronologically would have taken place prior to DM for instance, but I'm so starved I thought I might ask just in case! I'm not suuuper partial to any specific ships (Lestat/Louis is a bit boring IMO 😭 but I love them so I'll take it) and I don't have any NOTPs, so I'm down to read pretty much anything (esp if it's spicy and/or hurts my heart and/or features Armand lmao). Totally fine if this is too much trouble or if it turns out to be an impossible ask indeed; thank you in advance anyway! AND THANK YOU AGAIN for introducing me to these brain-rotting books lol I spend like half my waking hours thinking about Armand now.

SHGKJALDS I SPEND HALF MY WAKING HOURS THINKING ABOUT ARMAND TOO SINCE LIKE THE YEAR 2000 LMFAO im so glad you see!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GET IT MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So babe tbh the reason I started writing Armand/Daniel fic at all is because there really ... isn't that much? And I was like GUESS I GOTTA FUCKIN COOK FOR MYSELF. So tbh I haven't actually read a ton of VC fic at all. The otp:true filter for them on AO3 (excluding TVverse fics) only has 237 fics hdkjgalds but you can start here LOL. I think for the most part you'll be able to tell in the tags if it's post-QOTD because people usually will tag like "post canon" or "Prince Lestat Era"; for QOTD fics check for a Devil's Minion/Devil's Minion Era tag. I don't always remember to tag my own fics but my only post-canon D/A fic is called "In the Trials of the Heart" and all my others are Devil's Minion era and shouldn't spoil anything ! Be aware that the TV fandom and book fandom sometimes overlap so there might be stray TV fics in the book tag; it won't spoil anything bc the TV canon is a completely different story, but it might not make sense if you jump in to read it. So without actual fic recs I'll share some authors that I really trust!! Have a look through their VC fics!!!!!!!

Whenever I remember I try to post VC fics that I do read, kinda like how Sheith fandom does Wednesday Fics, I try to tag #VCFicFriday so try there too!
