Montjuic cemetery in Barcelona
#photography#I spent like 3 hrs here today it's massive and has a lot of elevation changes#But the cemeteries in here confuse me so much... I think I'm too used to the park-like design of German cemeteries#So to walk in such a huge quiet place full of cement and stone and very little nature is so eerie#And I've seen VERY FEW people both here and the one yesterday#Which makes sense - it's not built like a park so people don't treat it like one#But still such an eerie feeling#Like it truly is a place just for the dead alone and not for the grieving#While I'm used to cemeteries built for the grieving

i think alphonse would still experience depersonalization and dysmorphia even after getting his body back
#alphonse elric#obviously hes glad about having it back#but there's this unease at the back of his mind#because hes been put into a new body that is drastically different from the one he was in for years for a second time#and that body isnt the one he lost. it had changed so much since he was 10 and i dont even think he could recognize himself for a while#i also think thats why he got the exact same haircut he had as a kid. to feel more like that younger and more familiar version of himself.#anyway i think he would still feel like he lost another part of himself by gaining everything back#even if he hated every second of being in that armor and even if all he ever wanted was to be normal again#he still spent 5 years in that body. long enough to begrudgingly become used to it#and for his body to change instantly into an unrecognizable version of himself#i dont think he had an easy time adjusting to being so different physically#even beyond the fact that he had to spend months/years physically recovering#oughhh its such a weird and complex feeling to miss something that made him miserable#just because that familiarity is more comforting than all of the pain and overstimulation of gaining his senses back#and being a completely different person physically#i also think hed have trouble sleeping for a while and start Thinking About Things He Shouldn't at night again#this is one of those things#fma#fullmetal alchemist#fma fanart#fmab fanart#fullmetal alchemist brotherhood#fma art#fmab#fma brotherhood

I think possibly the funniest trait to give Dr. Leonard McCoy, the CMO on the One ship in the 'fleet which has both Vulcan and Terran crewmembers, would be red-green colorblind.
Spock & Kirk both walk into sickbay covered in blood & he squints at them like, "Whose blood is that. Which one of you is dying. Are you BOTH dying?"

The 1st time I watched all of tos Turnabout Intruder was my favorite episode. Despite the pretty intense sexism and crazy shatner acting, I just find the idea really compelling.
#also i lov that its an episode that calls out spock and jims special relationship and bc jim is a woman at the time leonard nemoy is#touching the actress in ways he would not touch shatner so it makes their relationship come off as more intimate than usual#and again the sexism is really bad but bc the writing is kinda deeply flawed its only more compelling to me. like the ending is kinda dark#and weird bc they kinda put Janice's hysteria on her being a woman rather than being a damaged person. so in the end she confims#that she is unfit for command. is physical overpowered by a man. treated like and child. ans sent off to some mental hospital for care#while the men in power on the enterprise shake their heads and say. if only she could have been satisfied in her womans body. without#addressing how its pretty fucked that woman cant b starfleet captains. like. thats a pretty unsettling and weird ending. it makes me feel#bad and thats why i like it so much. but im a freak like that so idk#star trek#tos#spirk#spock#james t kirk#also. i shoulf have spent more time making this look nice but i fucked upbthe colors#but i dont wanna redraw again. i cant get the proses right#poses look weird

I drew some of them up to 3 times just to make SURE I got them right#Which my lazy ass almost never bothers with#THE BITS WITH SAM UNSPOOLING ARE MY PRIDE AND JOY#I wanted to make the part where they talk to the Visitor a bit worse actually#Their body being barely held together by this creature who only vaguely understands what a human being is even supposed to look like....#and if they move to fast their body literally lags and uncoils..#I wanted to have them sharply move their head and have them look distressed when their eyes lagged a behind#but oughgh I couldnt get it to look right and I was already dying from how long I spent on it so just pretend that happened and imagine it#Other notes ermmmm. I think I got the order that the astronomers joined a little mixed up. Sorry Beryl and Aurelius.#Also while drawing the DnD scene I imagined Lyle and Masked Thing holding hands now I feel like theres something there but idk what it is#Anyway do with that what you will#Also I remembered that half the reason I gave Sam a cleft pallet was cause I wanted them to keep a recognizable feature when they mutated#so on the last frame one of the breathing holes has a notch in it bcs thats the breathing hole that used to be Sams mouth :3#Idk if thats like. wholesome to anyone else but I like it.
