We met on the site meet me and talked for about a week he thought I was a catfish and we talked on snap and he came over. We watched avatar the last Airbender 🤣he was super excited I had showbox on my phone so we watched it and smoked some weed. I was 19 and he just turned 22 (but he was actually a gentleman asked if he could kiss me and tried to leave it at a kiss 🙄, me being the hoe I am turned it into more 🫡) we ended up hooking up, I was on birth control and he wore a condom but he left in the morning for work and we hung out all the time ever since. After us knowing each other in person for 2 weeks his sister ended up kicking him out and I'm a real ass bitch that wouldn't let ANYONE I know and care about be homeless even knowing them for 2 weeks so I talked to my bio mom who I was renting a room from if he could stay with us. She said yes (she loves taking in strays) and one morning after he left for work legit the day after he moved in my mom came into my room around 630 am and told me to take a pregnancy test; being Hella confused I did but reluctantly and BIIIIIITTTTTCCCCCHHHHH 2 FULL DARK LINES

This is the legit pregnancy test I went to the hospital shortly after telling my now fiance and his words still make me laugh to this day cause I sent this picture and nothing else and his response was "you really gonna hit me with this 7 minutes before my shift?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 like I could have said something he thought I was sleeping 😅 but he made me keep the baby like no cap he told me I'm not getting an abortion he's all about prochoice but he'll raise the baby if I don't want to be involved and I'd never have to deal with him or the baby again if I didn't want the baby. Which made me think and choose to keep the baby and be in a relationship with him, it gave us our son he's turning 6, December 27. We've been together since then which was in 2018. He proposed 6/27/2019 and we just started making moves to get married next year 🤣 and we have a little girl as well now and she was planned and a rainbow baby. He wasn't a kpop Stan and didn't care for it but now he's a full blown stay and army 😅 I converted him he also loves Love Scenario by Ikon lol and likes to make fun of blackpink in your area and finds it pretty impressive that I can sing most kpop songs lol and speak Korean better than Spanish cause I'm puerto rican. But I've had a lot of health issues and have almost died on him 3 times already once from an ectopic pregnancy rupturing resulting in hemorrhaging and the loss of my left fallopian tube, another from me trying to unalive myself cause of PPD, and the last was during my pregnancy with my daughter and pre-eclampsia causing a seizure while I was home alone with our son. We've gone through a lot and honestly he's not even half as toxic as the guys I write about but he's definitely a tsundere which isn't surprisingly my type 😅 but finding out our son has autism has been a journey we've recently gone through as well as my stubbornness about doctors have been trials. But idk were pretty strong and he's kind of a drill sergeant when it comes to Tumblr always reminding me I have updates to do and shit 🙄 like yall his fans or something but I love him that's my best friend and I think the fact that I look at things logically instead of emotionally is why we've lasted so long

MAJORLY LONG POST IM SO SORRY

This whole post is a comparison of Isane-the-shiny, aka my older version of this blog, to its resurrection MetalGoneMeta

First things first, im sending development for this blog into motion. And although everyone who saw and i interacted with under the Isane-the-shiny/-and-muses usernames are now 2 years+ inactive and/or archived, i feel its best to put up the similarities and differences between then and now both for their sake should it be of interest as well as to give myself a blueprint for resurrecting under Metalgonemeta.

Isane-the-Shiny/-and-muses (2018?)

ItS was a Non-Selective, Independent, Pokémon/Metang OC Roleplaying blog

While I ran ItS (and later IaM) I was very VERY new to Tumblr RP and didnt know what anything meant besides a blog being Selective or not. And if you even had Semi-Selective in your bio, I posted the Same. Damn. CopyNPaste Ask of basically:

THIS GD ASK HAS PLAGUED MANY A USERS INBOX, and yknow how i said i didnt know the terminology of RPBlogs? That included those who had “Mutuals Only” as a rule of their blog.

To those whos blogs i did invade, I do apologize. I will say that i have improved since then.

(Also SHOUTOUT TO THOSE WHO ACTUALLY RESPONDED DESPITE THEIR OWN RULES /pos Istg i look back on this Invading copy and paste ask with HEAVY cringe, but I also remember feeling so ballistically happy seeing the “X answered your ask” notification. I hope all is well for you ^^)

Back to this list of how things were, pretty much said above but to put it shorter and more organized, Back when i ran IsT/IaM i was very Invasive and i was unaware of boundaries. And this was mostly due to it being back when i was about 14-15. (Im an Adult now dw ^^”)

Lastly and pretty much the only last changes and differences… Isane, the Metang OC of this blog, Is getting a name change and Overhaul. This is primarily for finding purposes ig? Basically, There is a character from a different fandom i follow, Bleach, with a character of the same name. (If anything i legit just stole the name cuz i liked Isane lmao). I do not have a new name decided *yet, but am actively searching so i can get it set in stone for the blog. And in terms of the actual overhaul, im going to look into updating, aka giving, her lore as well as (likely the only thing anyone i interacted with gave a shit about if at all) a redesign. Whether im going to turn her into a default blue and silver metang, or my Orrian Metang design is also still to be decided (you can find said design here )

Metalgonemeta (2023 onward)

Now all the big stuff i will admit is under the previous section by accident and ive noticed this post is getting pretty lengthy so ill try to keep this section short and to the point.

MGM is likely going to be identical to ItS in the fact it will still be an Indie NonSelective Blog. Though if i wanted to label every applicable term i found to give a better idea of what itll be: Indie, Pokemon/Metang OC, Based on Canon events that happened in both the mainline pokemon games as well as Pokemon Colosseum/GoD:XD, though will likely focus mainly on Unova B2W2* in writings.

Now i will say, factually in my stance, i should NOT go around peoples inboxes all wild andlikely childish. Even if i didnt make the other person uncomfortable, there were cases where i did make some uncomfortable… likely those who had stated mutuals only and yet here i was, a complete stranger banging on the ask box. Im probably going to just stick with those who interact with me first because of this and keep me going into inboxes at a minimal (i.e posted staters, prompts, etc.)

Kinda to keep parallel with the previous section, in terms of age rating im thinking ill have this blog be 18+. Not because of any mature material (if anything this blogs gonna be pretty sfw since its a gd METANG) but to avoid any uncomfortable complications regarding me, an 18y/o adult interacting with teens/minors of any age tumblr allows (I dont know what to even think of this cuz i just turned 18 not too long ago so from what ive heard i shouldnt have to worry about this type of stuff in the way say a 24y/o should), im just deciding in the hopes to just avoid any complications just keep the 18y/o me in the 18+ audience.

And that about wraps up all there is in terms of blog comparisons.. this was mostly focused on the blog technichalities and i will look into setting up a accessable Rules and About page when i get everything set up and can move onto a theme.

Im sorry this was so long but i felt it was best to post this now while everything i want to do is still fresh in my mind.

Hi! I’m Lina, (she/her) and I write the news! I’m actually quite a new addition to the fandom, as I only got properly involved at the beginning of quarantine, but I am already invested enough to be reading a copious amount of fan fiction and writing an essay on the queer representation in the show. My favourite quote has to be “happiness isn’t in the having. It’s in just being. It’s in just saying it,” and that is why I will never get over 15x18.

Hey! I’m T (@lateral-org), my pronouns are she/they and I’m the main editor for DDN. I used to be obsessed with SPN in 2015 but stopped watching regularly around season twelve. 15x18 sucked me back in, and now I’m invested not just in the show, but all of the stuff going on behind the scenes. I joined DDN because keeping up with #destielgate has basically just become a hobby of mine, and I wanted to make the details more accessible to anyone else who was interested. I’ve already received so much support from everyone in the fandom and it’s been the craziest ride. Even if S/P/N is over, there’s still so much to uncover from the last season. I joined the DDN because I've always been an avid Destiel shipper and season 16 has gripped me tight and raised me from sanity, so I want to help clear things up for other fans lost in the sea of conspiracy theories to ensure that the truth circulates. I started watching the show when season 11 was airing, but didn’t get into fandom until early season 13, where I fell hard and fast into this community and have been here ever since! It’s also when I started actively and avidly shipping Destiel (I was just a casual shipper before then). I joined the DDN because I’m so truly invested in season 16 - in finding/figuring out as much of the truth as possible about the finale and the rest of season 15. My favourite character is probably Cas, but I love all of TFW 2.0 and Wayward a lot. I have so many favourite quotes that I love, but not-surprisingly I think I have to go with either “Happiness isn’t in the having, it’s in just being”, or “for love”.

Hi! I’m Steph (@stephlovessubway), she/her and I’m a researcher at DDN. I started watching the show in 2007 (on YouTube no less) and then watching live with season 4 in 2008. I have seen the highs (season 4 and season 5) and the lows (season 7) on Tumblr, and took a break for a few years and started back with season 10. I rewatched all the series in the first UK lockdown and managed to witness the wild end of season 15. I’ve shipped destiel from the beginning, mainly because Cas is my favourite character, and have thoroughly enjoyed season 16 on Tumblr. Food Fantasy: An Analysis on what killed a Golden Goose (2/3)

Welcome back. Before we get started, disclaimers again! I do not own the game or its characters, nor do I claim to know the history and future of the game. What I am entitled to are the thoughts and opinions written within this post. You may or may not agree with the points spoken of here. This post also remains untagged from the main foofan tag. Only my followers will see this.

We are now on the second part, so let's go forward under the cut!

Elex

And here we have our beloved global publisher that most of seem to have Stockholm Syndrome for. Don't lie, at least half of us are still playing this damned game due to sunken cost fallacy, sunken time fallacy and the cute/hot jpegs.

In 2018, everything started out fine. Sure, maybe we had some translation mishaps here and there -coughwe'llgettothatwreckagelatercough- but overall, Elex was running the game fairly well. Rewards were on time, we had active social media and support, and a discord was set up!

Hint: Please note I use quite a bit of sarcasm in most everything I say.

And then somewhere along that road, things got derailed. And I mean it like, we're in the midst of a trainwreck in slow motion and we've only cleared the initial collision and still hurtling forward or backward into a steel wreckage ticking inferno.

Problems started cropping up as early as late 2018, just a few months after the game was launched in July.

⦁ Art contest mishaps. You know when you hold an art contest on Facebook out of all places with its shitty tagging system, you're bound to have entries lost to the void, people forced to register an FB account just to participate (seriously, who even has an FB account that isn't just there to appease family members?) and having to wrestle with figuring out how FB's tagging system works. Add to that the panel of judges happen to be Elex staff who don't have a good eye for good artwork (we actually had a kiddy figure drawing win over a well drawn one during the last contest!) and that they ALSO weren't very good at organizing such contests on FB... well, we had several grievances over that.

⦁ Region blocked FB announcements. Strangely enough, I stopped getting announcements around Father's Day of 2019 while everyone else outside of SEA kept getting updates. Turns out that someone on Elex's staff really didn't like SEA players or was just really bad at fixing the settings for the group and never bothered to revert it back. It didn't matter in the long run though, because...

⦁ Abandoned social media platforms. FooFan Twitter, FooFan Facebook... they all floated slowly into the void and was never heard from again. And this was before the 2020 pandemic.

⦁ Remember what I said about Discord? Yeah, apparently, they opened one up a little too early and the staff in charge of it knew zero about how to setup and mod a discord community, and didn't even have the manpower needed to mod the influx of members that came in! Suffice to say, they had to get help from top players and mods from the FB groups to come in and sort things out because someone kept pinging @ everyone every few seconds other than the usual chaos that comes from a server with no filters and people trying to turn the discord into Global Chat 2.0, minus Russian hours.

⦁ Also in line with the point about abandoned social media platforms, they've also mostly abandoned the discord too and only pop in once in a while to check the bug reports or lost accounts. You have a slightly better chance of response with the in-game support. Only slightly. And there's a running joke with several variations on the main discord that the Owner account of the discord server was manned by an intern-kun who never bothered to pass it on to the next unfortunate soul left to maintain this game.

⦁ Favoritism. Funtoy is also guilty of this but they don't publish the game for Global. If you're a top spender the likes of maxing out your cash rebates within the three months or so and you kept spending even beyond that, Elex could possibly invite you to a funky little club where your voice is more important than say... 99% of the playerbase. On top of that, if you keep spending, you could technically also ask for stuff like getting this frame over that frame, or well.... delay certain features from coming to Global for over a year. Now you can simp AND be heard! (Note: In 2021, it's possible that that club may be dead too, as all things shall be)

⦁ SJW Friendly. I don't know if Funtoy themselves have anything to also do with this particular decision... but it's saying something that after a certain little tiddy tantrum from the community side, Elex decided not to announce anything about a certain event's fate and when asked by it by other parties (not me) they either lie through their teeth, or beat around the bush with a non-answer.

⦁ Partial translations, mistranslations. Now, I understand that a lot of Chinese grammar and semantics are confusing to translate properly into several other languages, but you'd think Elex would have given their translators more context to the character or the mechanic to avoid such mistranslations that later set off gender debates or worded the skill/artifact description a little clearer. That is... unless Elex really is hands-off trying to get to know this IP from the start and only gave it the most bare minimum of English where they can cut costs for it, so people can understand it 'well enough' to throw money at an obviously not beta-read quality game.

⦁ No translations. Yes we do have certain parts of the game that are in Chinese since forever since xx patch. Some characters' voiceline texts are still in chinese, especially during the Pledge scenes. More recent artifacts are also in chinese with no announced translation in sight. And don't get me started on the Food Soul bios, or lack thereof.

⦁ Delayed events. Prime example? We had weeks of minor events/no events and still Elex managed to eff everything up for our second Anniversary in July 2020. We ended up getting the Croissant event in late August with barely any apologies and compensation for the delay... and this likely would have never arrived as 'early' as it did if people hadn't been railing about where our Anniversary event was. As it stands, we are several minor events behind CN, at least a year and a half's worth behind. I know Global had requested heavily for more spaced out events (to save resources, not that it actually worked with all the nerfed rewards we get) compared to CN but this is extremely ridiculous.

⦁ Delayed permanent features. Hm... Guild Wars, Sky Tower, Bar, that Wuchang Fish Showdown... several Quality of Life updates.... that new permanent pool update... Food Souls still missing their JP voice packs... Food Soul Bios... *slowly ticking off more than I have fingers and toes*

⦁ Customer Support is whack. You'd be lucky if you got someone who understood your problem/inquiry right off the bat AND did something about it efficiently. You'd be luckier if they answered you honestly if you were inquiring about event updates or other buggy features or reporting hackers.

⦁ The Great Turkey and Apple Incident of 2020. Well, if you were around for that little SNAFU during the Turkey re-run event, you'd know a percentage of people suddenly got logged out of their accounts and had a baller of a time trying to get their accounts back. You were especially unfortunate if you were playing on an iOS account because even if you did bind it (like a responsible player should be doing), you probably still wouldn't get it back in time to rank properly during Turkey. Some Android players also experienced this, but it wasn't as bad as what the iOS players experienced. And then there was the compensation mishap for that too.

⦁ Hacker-chan and not-so-uwu Hacker-teme. Hacker-chan is a meme. Hacker-chan was a harmless player who regularly topped in Top Showdown every week for a time to send a message to Elex just how easy it is to hack the game in certain rankings and invited Elex to ban them every time, just to test how competent Elex is. In the end, Elex has proven to be incompetent and also glaringly stupid about how their published game works. Hacker-teme is a collective of individuals over time who have cheated the game during important ranking events or in somewhat important permanent battles. If you tried to report a Hacker-teme with evidence to prove it -and trust me, people repeatedly have-, Elex would tell you that they're not cheating and/or lie through their teeth that they're 'investigating the case' and then not do anything about it and let them keep their event ranking and thus get the rewards while someone who actually worked hard/whaled hard to get the spot gets denied. In one case, they believe that if an account has rebate points and the player level is at least around level 80, then the hacker-teme is obviously playing the game fairly. Never mind that their units happened to have low to no artifact nodes opened, and not high in ascension.

And that is the end of the Elex saga. I'm aware there's likely more things about Elex that I've missed, but feel free to add on to this analysis post with your own thoughts.

The last part of this trilogy is probably what many of us are waiting for, for obvious reasons.

The record is finished... what now?

We finished our fourth album last week, so I thought it might be interesting (spoiler alert: it probably isn’t) to do a quick post about what happens once a record is ‘finished’ these days, and why it can seem to take so long between an album being completed and actually being released.

Before I stumbled upon a career in making music, my attitude would’ve been similar to that of many fans, I imagine - why not just put the record out as soon as possible? It’s done, you spent (presumably) ages on it, surely you just want people to hear it and shower you with praise and damning reviews? After all, that’s what Radiohead and Beyoncé seem to do, and they don’t mind if the vinyl follows several months later.

Well, Radiohead are Radiohead and Beyoncé is Beyoncé, and both of those artists (and only a handful more) releasing records is Big News in and of itself. Smaller bands and artists need to use their new record as something to build around, to try and fight desperately for attention in a very competitive industry, to route tours around, even simply to remind people that you still exist (often, admittedly, to their distress). Otherwise it’s all too easy to put something out only to see it burn out very quickly, for it to fall to the bottom of people’s ‘recently played’ streaming algorithms and swiftly fall out of the public consciousness pretty much altogether.

That's why it’s better for 99% of bands and artists to wait until everything is ready and to try to go for one big, focused ‘bang’ (often still a whimper, admittedly), rather than trying to hit the front page of Pitchfork with a near-instantaneous release. And the main thing we’re all waiting for these days, especially with its continued resurgence and importance to artists, labels and fans, is vinyl.

Vinyl lead times pre-pandemic were already a bit ridiculously long because a large number of the pressing plants from back in the day went under or severely reduced their capacity, so we’ve been left with a relative handful of potential suppliers and an awful lot of demand from all corners of the music industry. I think The Race For Space (released Feb 2015) was mastered at the end of October 2014, so made it out there in just over 3-and-a-bit months, and that was with two test pressings after the first failed. By the time Every Valley rolled around (released July 2017) we were already at four-months-and-counting, and don’t even get me started on the White Star Liner EP (tail end of 2018, and the vinyl was late because of test pressing issues).

Anyway, you get the picture, and that’s all pre-COVID, which obviously has done precious little to improve any aspect of the economy, besides enhancing Jeff Bezos’ already undignified / obscene wealth. We were initially quoted 7 months for this album but have managed to get it down a bit from there - still, you’ll no doubt have noticed a lot of delayed releases recently and I am taking nothing for granted, on any level, with this record.

We might seem like a modestly successful band but we are also still very much a small team of people. The sheer amount of work it is to get everything ready, besides ‘just’ the music itself, necessitates a bit of a delay between completion and release. Even now, the artwork, liner notes, credits, administrative aspects (PPL IDs and so on) are queueing up for attention; that’s to say nothing of band photos, press releases, updated bios, pitches for various media features (often with ridiculously long lead times of their own), music videos, remixes, instrumentals... in short, a lot.

Then for a band like us there’s the whole tricky chicanery of designing, building, programming and rehearsing a quite fiendishly complicated live set, all while navigating the risks and uncertainties of doing so during what we hope is the tail-end of a pandemic. It normally takes me about 2-3 months to get an album ready to play live, and that’s just the music side of it - then I need to edit videos to run concurrently, give various assets to Mr B so that he can have more to play with than just an on-rails video, then all get together in a room to see what works (hint: not much) and what needs more work (hint: nearly everything). Mr B also needs a lot of time - justly so - to put together his fiendish set creations as well as creating a lot of original video output himself. Popping up on the radio to do a quick session somewhat belies the amount of work it takes to get new material ready for that stage (should it arrive - we certainly don’t assume it will).

But the main thing, still, is to try to garner as much attention, wake as many people as possible up to the fact that yes, you still exist and yes, you’re still flogging the dead horse that is your band and creative output in a perhaps vain attempt to try to prolong an unlikely career and yes, you can order the Amazing New Record soon in at least 5 different colours to ensure its safe arrival in your homes at the very second of its official release. Hello! We’re still here! Hello! We have a new record! Er.. anyone?

Anyway, that’s just a few items from the very long list of things preoccupying me and the other denizens of PSB Towers between now and release. Hopefully everything will run smoothly, the record will come out when we say it will come out and we can even entertain modest hopes of another reasonably-well-charting album. On that note, a brief aside - chart positions are still incredibly important, if only within the record industry itself. A high chart position makes a lot of people sit up and take notice - bookers, agents, festival promoters and so on - which is another reason why it’s important for those of us who aren’t in Mr Yorke’s merry gang to try to get everything out all at once (in its right place, if you will) rather than staggering digital / vinyl release dates.

Hopefully you found this mildly diverting. It’s mostly served as a nudge in the ribs for me to remind me how much I still need to get on with, so without further ado, off I will go, and on with I will get.

Jungkook and Taehyung Apple Music updates

I don’t know if any of you have been on twitter, or checked up on JKs and Tae's Apple Music profiles but on JKs profile (or at least what ARMY believe to be his profile) the profile picture has been changed while on Taehyung’s the biography changed.

Now the questions are--what does that mean, and does it mean anything at all? Let’s have a little discussion and check out all the facts and theories we can gather.

What we know about their mixtapes

Over the last seven or eight months Taehyung has been working on his mixtape, lovingly dubbed by ARMY as Taetape, TH1 and mixtaepe, and even showed us a few tracks from it, including tiny one second snippets in his most recent vlive. From his Christmas post that accompanied Snow Flower, we know that the mixtape has been delayed, and we were told we’ll likely get it early or mid 2021.

Meanwhile Jungkook mentioned working on a mixtape a long time ago, the one furthest back being a mention of it all the way in late 2018. We also got a minute long snippet of a track called Decalcomania on twitter in 2019, and in the same year he spoke about how he almost had it all finished, but then realize he wasn’t happy with it and started again. We also know that Your Eyes Tell, as well as Stay, were both supposed to be on his mixtape, but were repurposed as Japanese OT7 track (Your Eyes Tell) and subunit track for BE (Stay). But he hasn’t said a thing about when the mixtape might come, if he’s steadily working on it or anything else.

These are all the hard facts we know for sure since they explicitly told us about them. Now for the theories below the cut:

Theories

In the last few weeks we’ve suddenly had something like a resurgence of Taekook content, in form of the two of them sitting next to each other, joking around, and even a vlive together as well as a selca at the end of 2020. This is noteworthy since otherwise a lot of the content we got in 2020 was more focused on Jikook, along with a few very lovely Vmin moments in-between. We know that big “showy” ship moments are a marketing tool, so perhaps some of that was purposeful to draw attention back to Tae and JK, instead of JK and Jimin, in preparation of them having their mixtapes released?

Why am I even bringing all of this up? Well if you check the picture on JKs AM profile, it actually shows both him and Tae in it, though it’s rather odd that a picture was chosen that was taken from the making book in BE. But, if nothing Bangtan ever do when it comes to their music is a coincidence and no one is just messing with ARMY, that’s why it made me think of Tae and JK and their mixtapes, how there might be some kind of connection, not necessarily that they’ll have songs together but just that their mixtapes perhaps might come out in a similar timeframe.

As most recent “moment” we could mention the relay after the Golden Disc Awards where Taehyung specifically asked JK why he dyed his hair, which JK commented by saying that he’s been asked that like four times already that day yet didn’t actually answer the question itself. It may seem like nothing noteworthy, but I’m sure Tae could’ve asked that in private, yet chose to do so in that moment in front of the cameras as though to once again draw attention to his very drastic hair color change. JK also said that Tae has become a reliable guy, which could be him talking about Tae doing a good job when it comes to being the visual director for BE, but perhaps he also meant that Tae was reliable and did a good job with their schedules which in turn allowed both of them, not only Tae, to work on their mixtapes, much the same way that Hobi and Jimin could work on a song together in that time as well. It might be farfetched, I know, I’m just playing with ideas and putting it all out there. This is all meant as fun after all.

Furthermore we also had Namjoon say that following to JK as part of the same relay:

It’s finally today, Jungkook-si, in 10 years! You are Golden Maknae! The day that you will prove your nickname! You are proving it right now with your hair color, but in 2021, I hope the year will be filled with gold, like your nickname. Stay healthy. Let’s ‘Jje-kkit-up’ together this year too! (check it up.. the usual Namjoon saying lol)

I mentioned in my Gold Disc Award (x) post how this kind of made me suspicious and wonder if Namjoon wanted to subtly hint at something with his words, like he wishes JK so well because he knows something is coming and he hopes it’ll be successful perhaps? We know Namjoon is the king of spoilers after all, and this would certainly be very tame and low-key for his standards.

Months ago during a OT7 vlive JK, along with Seokjin, mentioned how he got to listen to Tae’s mixtape and how it was really good, that he liked the songs. Likewise we also know that Tae heard Stay while it was still a JK song and encouraged him to show it to the rest of the members, and eventually Stay turned into JKs subunit song with Namjoon and Seokjin for BE. So we know they have both heard what the other is working on, and both of them had their songs be repurposed into OT7/subunit songs. What if, perhaps, they exchanged songs, as in Tae wrote a song for JJK1 and JK wrote one for TH1 (lyrics or melody wise), or worked on them in some way the same way Namjoon helped Jimin with Promise and Christmas Love, or wrote a tiny bit of Abyss for/with Seokjin.

One thing though I find highly odd about the updated version of Tae’s biography on AM is the fact that it sounds very much like something a fan would write, and not a BigHit staff member, even more so because it mentions other groups (even though BTS are the most famous one and it feels unnecessary) but mostly because Sweet Night isn’t mentioned despite being Tae’s biggest hit and the song with the most iTunes #1 in history. Something feels very fishy and off about it, so I’d be inclined to believe that someone simply might’ve hacked his account when they noticed the buzz on social media about JKs profile change.

There is a very big chance that while all of this is very exciting and I’d very much love to hear both Tae’s and JKs mixtapes, that someone is simply playing a very big prank on ARMY right now. They saw that people fell for the changed profile picture on the JK profile so they decided to add fuel to the fire by changing Tae’s bio as well. Which would mean everyone got hyped for absolutely nothing, though this moment of excitement and theories certainly is very fun.

However long it might take until we get TH1 and JJK1, I’m willing to patiently wait for it and I hope, should it turn out to just be a prank, that ARMY will be mature enough to handle this situation accordingly and not go on some kind of rampage against BH and the members.

I created Onyx back in 2018 and Onyx’s design went through a lot of changes.

Please note that even though I know that the gems are sexless and uses she/her pronouns, and even though Onyx is still sexless, he is still genderfluid and mainly uses he/him pronouns.

I’m planning on updating Onyx’s backstory at some point.

UPDATE (12/7/20): I finally fixed the original drawing that I did of Onyx by moving the gem placement.

Dec 17, 2019: Credit to https://www.deviantart.com/beedalee-art who created this amazing template! :) I decided to delete the one that I did about six months ago since the character bio didn’t seem complete. When I found this template I checked to see if the template was okay to use, and as long as I give the original artist credit, it was fine. I changed Onyx’s weapon to be a double axe instead of a sword. I’m thinking about changing the gem location as well.

I finally redrew my Steven Universe OC, Onyx and I ended up changing quite a few things about him. I lightened his skin tone, I changed his gem location, his eye color, his outfit, and his weapon (it is now a sword instead of a shuriken). I think that the only thing that didn’t change was his hair XD I originally imagined his voice sounding like Raven from Teen Titans who was voiced by Tara Strong, but now I imagine his voice sounding like Dante Basco who voiced Zuko in Avatar the Last Airbender. I’m going to keep the original drawings and bio of Onyx on DA.

Personality: Onyx tends to be a bit emotionless, but doesn’t keep to himself that much. He is very devoted to the people that he cares about to the point that he was willing to fuse with Jasper in exchange for his friends’ safety, but was saved by Garnet before they could fuse. He can’t thank his new friends and family enough for loving him and being there for him.

History: On Homeworld, Onyx was considered to be a Defective Gem and was casted out due to being able to change gender. He managed to escape from Homeworld on a stolen ship and somehow ended up on Earth. He was found fighting off a couple of Cluster Gems by the Crystal Gems who aided him in the battle and unfortunately he was "poofed" after he suffered a fatal injury. They took him back to the beach house where he would regenerated a few days later. He was very introverted and hesitant at first to why they were being so caring and kind towards him until Steven told him how they came to be as a family and told Onyx that they could be his new family if he wanted. After that, Onyx slowly, but surely started to open up to them to the point that he told them that he is gender fluid. He and Garnet share a mother and son relationship, and Steven being like a cool younger brother to him. Onyx is very close friends with Sadie and Lars that they took him shopping after he came out as gender fluid to them. He fights alongside the Crystal Gems and plays a mean bass in his free time.

i got bored so i decided to vaguely document this tumblr’s slow transformation into a twice/kpop stan account. it isn’t anything in-depth (it’s just gonna be me rambling) but i sometimes make jokes about people who followed from ‘before i was a twice stan account’ so i thought i’d go into my archives and watch as my kpop-related posts and reblogs grew (it’s long and literally no one will care about this but me, so you know, put the keep reading thing for obvi reasons)

primordial idk why i’m calling it primordial but this is like: super early pre-stan kpop posts.

uh yeah basically my earliest tagged kpop posts are from march 2015 but it was all super sporadic occasional shit. like the next kpop post i made was april 2016 (!) and there’d often be gaps of months or even a year or more between posts, and i’d only post like maybe four or five things and that was it

the beginnings i guess you could say the ‘beginnings’ of this tumblr’s transformation was december 2018? cuz, while i only posted/reblogged three kpop things that month, it was the first time i’d done it since october 2017 and two of those were pics of sana, literally the first twice content that’s even been on this blog

but anyways december 2018 and january 2019 were both still super ‘low’ in kpop content (january 2019 also only had three kpop posts), but then february 2019 came and there are 28 tagged kpop posts on this tumblr. it’s not a lot compared to what i post now but still a huge leap

even then it still wasn’t a complete leap since it was still moderately sporadic and i didn’t post anything kpop at all in april 2019

starting in may 2019 tho, there has literally never been a single month where i haven’t posted any kpop content to this tumblr.

slowly coming to terms at some point in early 2020 (i don’t know when exactly), i added ‘slowly coming to terms with being a twice stan’ to my bio and, in april, i joked about my ‘slow transformation’ into a twice stan being complete when i completely refocus my tumblr around them, including changing the url and posting nothing but pics, vids, and gifs of twice, not even any other girl groups.

and then, in may, i posted about how i felt that the ‘slowly coming to terms’ part of my description was unnecessary at that point but wondered what to replace it with, thinking about ‘unapologetic twice stan’

acceptance 25 june 2020, my 24th birthday. it was also the day i basically said ‘fuck it’ with this account and changed its name from Princess Viola to Totally Addicted to TWICE!, changed my pfp from alphys to dahyun, and updated my description to talk about me being a ‘totally obsessed twice stan’.

and basically i just accepted what this tumblr was now. it’s a twice stan tumblr. sure, it isn’t 100% twice or even 100% kpop-related, but that is the vast majority of what i share here now. i’m even pretty sure i edited my about me page to specify that this tumblr is mostly used for posting pics, gifs, and videos of twice with anything else being secondary to current main purpose

I’m 20 years old - Jan 21st 1999

Majoring in Studio Arts and minoring in Psychology. I have an Insta dedicated to my drawings it’s @ / drawingwithkaseroll

I am mixed. Half White and half African American. I will say that it is really hard to tell what race I am because I am mixed. I certainly am not as pale as my mother and those on my moms side of the family that are white, nor am I as dark as those on my father’s side of the family.

I am single as a pringle

I got into BTS November 2018 through my best friend who writes as well. I will often mention her as we spend a lot of time together. We have threads on each of our blogs named “Shit my friends say”

My main bias is Yoongi, however I often add Jimin as well because I jump in between the two. But, I first fell in love with Yoongi and my heart is taken by him.

I will and forever be OT7 because I certainly do not believe in “solo stans” or being one because all of them bring something special to the table. Plus, they simply wreck me on a daily basis so I can’t get under the mindset on loving just one and hating the others.

I do not under any circumstances support saesangs or saesange “culture�� if there is. I find it disgusting, appalling and everything in between. If you are one then immediately unfollow me. You are and never will be welcomed on my blog(s).

I consider myself a multistan. With that being said, I realize that I am not a hardcore stan with certain groups as I am with BTS. That is a completely different story and different conversation to have within itself. With that being said, I don’t have a bias or a wrecker in these groups (other than SEVENTEEN) because I simply enjoy their music. I think being able to enjoy different Kpop groups and listen to different sounds without getting completely ripped to shreds by certain fandoms is nice. Some include: SEVENTEEN, EXO, AOA, ATEEZ, GOT7, Monsta X, etc.

Outside of Kpop I listen to a variety of music. I have always said that I will listen to pretty much classical all the way to heavy metal. However, as I grow older, I’ve really enjoyed songs in foreign languages, “poppy” music, eletronic, alternative rock, and soft metal (meaning not a lot of screaming). My roots have always been rock because my parents love listening to classic rock, so I will always go back to that genre.

I speak two different languages: English and Spanish. However, I am more fluent in English, and I am semi fluent in Spanish. Meaning, I can understand when someone is speaking to me, I can understand music, and read in Spanish. However, it is very hard for me to produce the language, i.e speak it. I can type it, but that’s very different than speaking.

I am dabbling in different languages because at the end of my life I want to say that I’ve studied over ten different languages. I can still read and speak a little bit of Japanese and my current obsession is learning Korean.

Regarding requests and others....

I am open to writing certain types of requests. There are a few that I will not write and I have spoken about them here.

With the expection to the last bullet point: I will not under ANY circumstances write anything that includes: Mass shooting, rape, talk about rape, sexual abuse, etc. Some of you might be wondering well what about UWMA (Until We Meet Again)? I have written a warning post for that series in which you can read.

Stories that contain dark subjects: As mentioned UWMA and Play With Me have some pretty dark topics. I.e mention of physical and emotional abuse. In those stories I do not and WILL not normalize it in anyway. I mention it and move on. There will be times in UWMA that there is hair pulling, kicking, smacking, etc as well as Play With Me. However, that is and WILL be as far as I go.

In my warning post I have stated that I’ve grown up in a very toxic environment and under those circumstances I am well aware of how touchy those subjects can and will get. I have and I will continue to state that I am not at all normalizing those behaviors nor am I “romanticizing.” Instead I am bringing those subjects up to the table if they wish to be discussed, and I am going about this in a psychological stance. Being a psych minor I have and always will enjoy diving into the mind. I love how it works and I love writing about it. But there is a line and I will never cross and certainly not with BTS, nor with anyone in general.

I have no problem writing member x member requests because I certainly believe that giving someone something to imagine is honestly pretty great. However, I want to state that you as a reader should not be pushing these pairings onto BTS. They have stated that it makes them uncomfortable because they view themselves as brothers, not lovers. I don’t mind giving you something to read about and create a fictional world, but you should take it upon yourself to know where the line is. The same can be said about giving me requests. Do not in anyway believe that you are going to get into a relationship with them and be y/n. I am simply providing you with content, creating a fictional world, and having fun.

I have no problem writing any sexual content (other than what’s been previously mentioned). As you will come to find out, I’m pretty open on sex as I have written it a lot.

I have no problem writing a male!reader x member. Once again I’m pretty cool with anything (other than what has been already said)

This is only a BTS blog. I will not under any circumstances write about any other group because as I have mentioned earlier, I simply listen to other kpop groups. Yes, I will mention maybe a name or two in an imagine // drabble // series because I realize that BTS sees and are friends with other members from other groups. However that does not openly give you the rights to ask me to write about another group.

Regarding my post schedule and other mentions...

Since being a college student, my schedule is always fluctuating. As I grow older, I have a harder time finding the time to sit down for more than a half and hour and write. It’s either because I am busy with work (in the summer and on breaks) or busy with classes (in the fall and into the spring). I try to post something every week. If that is one story, two stories, or even three (if I’m lucky.) I used to do a story every day beginning out so that people could have something to read. As I have a steady following it has naturally come down to one or two a week.

I do not mind people asking when I am posting or updating a series. In fact, it brings me great joy to know people are enjoying my content. However, do not ask me all the time if I am updating something on a regular basis.

Rolling off the last bullet point: I want y’all to remember that I am doing this simply because I love it. I am not doing it because Tumblr is paying me, or bangtanarmynet is paying me. I’m just a twenty year old girl, who has an obsession for writing and BTS, giving y’all content. With that being said, no not in any circumstances be demanding and rude. It will not only get you an undesirable response, but it will have negative consequences.

I want to be able to create a safe space on my blog because I know how horrible the internet and the world can be. I also want to create a space where people can get lost in a fictional world craving for more as authors I have looked up to has created for me.

not so mini academic update

I feel like I've been on hiatus as a studyblr for a very long time that I'm an entirely different person than who I was when I was active.

I was an unemployed, grungy, lil ball of anxiety going into first year of uni, aspiring pharmacist. not two months into my first year, my SO of two years and I broke up because we were just growing into too diff of people.

the emotions of not having someone to depend on for romantic "sustenance" aka the withdrawal after 2 years of that type of love was a mountain of growing pains.

I dove aggressively towards wanting to be my own unlimited source of love, support, courage, security, and empowerment. I was driven by the unmoving desire to become the version of myself I could say I love.

Finishing my first year of uni doing a full 5x5 course load, I didn't pass the application process to get into the Pharm program because my GPA was too low. Beaten down because that was my plan since I was in junior high, in came big mental numero dos.

I was thinking, "Oh I can just apply again next year and boost my GPA in the meantime."

HOHO then my university decided to add another 8 required courses to apply to Pharm, AND also required to take and get a good mark on the +$500 PCAT.

I'll skip the long drawl of my mental battle within myself and hours of meditating over what to do about my future now.

I realized I didn't want to do pharmacy. I love science; chem, bio and all that, but pharmacy was only my first pick bc it made $100k a year. I didn't pick it with passion for the career, really. With that, I realized money like that isn't what I'm after in life.

My personality and soul is driven to be connected to others and be given the opportunity to help mold others into their truest selves. (This'll be important for when I get to what happens in 2nd yr uni)

So from 1st year, I moved into the faculty of science for the general science degree program. The plan was to keep doing science, specifically bio and chem, and with that I could be some form of technician or be able to work in a lab after I graduate.

I'll skip the depressing summer of 2018 when I couldn't get a job and I felt so inadequate about it, in that I was 19 and had never worked a day in my life.

On Oct 1st, 2018, I had just by chance applied online to a bunch of jobs even though I had low faith in getting into them since it was already a month into the 2nd uni year.

On Oct 2nd, 2018, I got a call from the private school for a job interview. I went, spoke to the principal for 5 min, she told me I was the last interview and that she was worried she wouldn't find someone right for her kids, but that she was lucky to have found me. I got hired to a job well above minimum wage for my first job and started Oct. 3rd. It was. so freeing.

Then came the 3 months of treating myself to things I could never afford hehe, given this new area of expression unlocked.

I failed a class for the first time in my life, because I kept having to leave that class early to get to my job on time. Mini mental breakdown. Then recuperated and adapted, as I always do.

I became inspired by my role in the students' lives and realized it was the kind of environment I wanted to be in. In a position to help mold characters into the truest, freest, best versions of themselves.

So now, I'm aiming to become a high school chemistry teacher. Or a biology teacher. Or a pre-calculus teacher. Either way, this career path, I'm once again excited and ambitious for. It has felt true to me, and as I keep revealing myself to myself piece by piece, it proves to me more how much it's the right career for me.

After working at the school til the end of the school year, they asked me if I wanted to come back and I said you betcha, now I have a secure employment from sept.2019-june2020 yaher

Onto 3rd year uni I go this September 2019, paying my tuition all on my own for the first time, and money no longer being an issue for the first time.

SO THAT WAS MY PERSONAL-ISH UPDATE

As for studyblr's sake update, I'll be taking biochem 1, ochem 1, and behavioural psyc in fall 2019, then genetics, cell biology, microbio 2, and stat 2 in winter 2020

I've begun my reviewing for ochem, and also already found a pdf for the psyc textbook. As a uni studyblr, I'm not sure if I'll go back to making physical notes but I'm trying it out again.

I'm working a full time summer job this summer from beginning of july to end of aug, and since they actually give me 9 hour shifts, I get 2 hour breaks. Ya girl has been in an insanely productive mood lately, so you betcha bottom dolla I'm using majority of that time to study in a nearby café.

Seriously, I had a long weekend, and I spent it voluntarily deepcleaning and organizing my room. It's been great. I've been a great big ball of sunshine for the past three weeks and counting 🌻

US Amazon sellers were told via email that they will have to pay taxes on some Amazon fees, as Etsy has been doing with sellers in the EU and in Quebec.

The Instagram look may be dropping out of favour; apparently, reality is in. “Instagram museums and walls were built to allow normal people to take influencer-quality photographs—but they worked so well, those types of photos became common enough that they don’t resonate like they used to. “#unfiltered

In case you missed it, my review of Etsy’s Spring & Summer Trends Guide, including all of the keyword data (which you do need to check out, as they reveal some interesting search info).

ETSY NEWS

Etsy published a new census/survey of sellers in its 6 core countries, and also did a summary (if you don’t want to read the whole thing). “More than nine out of ten Etsy sellers (91%) are the sole owner of their businesses.”... “The majority (82%) of Etsy sellers would like to grow their business, but more than three out of five would not want to grow so big that they would have to hire more help.”

The bugs & errors with financial statements and records continue; Etsy botched the VAT statements yet again, even overwriting them all the way back to 2016. No word on whether any sellers have notified EU authorities on this yet.

New seller handbook article covers advertising; not much new or gripping, but it does discuss general ad approaches, not just Etsy’s.

There is also a new free shipping tool, in case you didn’t realize that Etsy wants more sellers to offer free shipping more often. “When we talk to shoppers during research, many say things like “I want to feel like I’m getting a deal!” and “I would love to see free shipping across the board, even if it meant increased prices.” Offering free shipping can be a great way to give customers like these the shopping experience they are looking for.”

CEO Josh Silverman participated in The Wall Street Journal’s “In the Elevator” interview series [video link]. Every 90 seconds, an engagement ring or wedding ring sells on Etsy. He also talks about free & fast shipping not always being a reasonable expectation when shopping on Etsy, unlike Amazon.

Speaking of free shipping, a limited number of US customers will be getting it from Etsy, with Etsy reimbursing sellers for the costs. Non-US sellers and buyers get nothing.

Etsy’s 2019 1st quarter results will be available May 8.

SEO: GOOGLE & OTHER SEARCH ENGINES

Rand Fishkin released Part 5 of his Learn SEO in 1 Hour series: technical SEO [video & written transcript]. This is the one most of you can skip or just skim over, as it does talk a lot about coding.Some tips are important to everyone, however, like page linking/site structure (for websites), and having https set up.

Part 6 covers link building, in 10 minutes. Remember, if you are going to put effort into getting links, do it for your website & not your Etsy shop or other marketplace page. If you are creating traffic, make sure you own it.

Don’t forget looking beyond Google for your search engine traffic; this podcast [with written transcript] breaks down an approach to several of the biggest ones beyond Google. Spoiler: they only recommend worrying about the biggest, Bing, if you have around 1000 unique search visitors to your website per day.

How to get keyword ideas from the Google search results: there’s a lot more available now, beyond the search bar suggestions.

Despite all the scandals and negative media coverage, US social media use hasn’t really changed in the past few years. “A 2018 Center survey found that some Facebook users had recently taken steps to moderate their use of the site – such as deleting the Facebook app from their phone or taking a break from the platform for some time. The Canadian Privacy Commissioner is taking FB to court over breaches of Canadian privacy law.

But hey, it’s all fine, because they beat earnings expectations in the first quarter.

70% of YouTube videos watched are recommended by its algorithm. “ The recommendations are fueled by the artificial-intelligence arm, Google Brain, of YouTube’s parent company. The machine-learning models help identify videos that aren’t exactly what you just watched, but similar enough that you might like them.“

Does directing people to the link in your Instagram bio really work? Testing says that it probably doesn’t work for most accounts, and more importantly, that Instagram may be limiting the algorithm visibility of posts that direct visitors to the link in your bio.

Twitter has now limited the number of accounts you can follow in 1 day, to 400 down from 1000; this is intended to cut back on spammers.

Stats programs all give you different numbers, and that isn’t likely to improve. (This piece is semi-advanced; don’t bother with it if you aren’t a stats geek.)

ECOMMERCE NEWS, IDEAS, TRENDS

eBay’s Spring Marketplace Updates include several back end changes and a fee increase for sellers who run afoul of eBay’s seller performance standards.

Amazon sellers can buy so-called “black hat” services to beat its algorithms. These include tips from Amazon employees who are making money by reporting on Amazon’s inner workings. Amazon “also said it takes action against sellers who pay for internal information; penalties include terminating their selling accounts, deleting reviews, withholding funds, and taking legal action.” No doubt the company already has closed some of the loopholes discussed in the article.

Amazon also fires warehouse workers by algorithm, based on productivity.

GoDaddy launches an ecommerce sharing tool that lets you list across multiple websites including your standalone. Current marketplace options include Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Jet & Walmart. They bought Sellbrite as part of this move. Quite a few different entities are releasing this type of service, so shop around if it is something you are interested in.

eBay released their 1st quarter 2019 results on April 23. Total sales were down 4% from 2018 (they were close to even when currency fluctuations were accounted for), but eBay’s own income from seller fees was up. “eBay reduced their marketing by a significant amount where their cash was being used to effectively subsidise the sales of high value items. Put simply, eBay have been buying sales and now they’ve stopped and this has seen a reduction in high ticket items being sold in comparison to sales of lower value items.” Easter being later this year may have slowed ecommerce growth overall in the quarter.

...but Amazon reported record revenue, up 16.9% over 2018. Despite that, analysts note that growth is slowing, & that Amazon’s own projections for the second quarter are lower than many predicted. “Amazon’s CFO Brian Olsavsky said during the call with analysts that part of the lower guidance is due to an $800 million investment in making free one-day delivery shipping the default for Prime members.” - if you thought buyers wanted stuff yesterday already, wait til this becomes the norm ... I mean, Walmart & Target stocks fell after the announcement. Walmart is already hinting at offering the same.

You can return your Amazon purchases at Kohl’s in the US, starting everywhere in July. Ease of returns is going to be a bigger battleground in the next few years, as retailers continue to increase free & speedy shipping options.

Generation Z will be making 40% of US retail purchases by next year; they are going to change a lot about selling. “ Fair trade products, ethical business practices, and a strong mission statement have never been more essential. Vend reports, “Research has shown that this particular generation cares about various environmental issues (76% are concerned about humanity’s impact on the planet) as well as social causes such as racial, gender, and income inequality.” [Gen Z come after millennials, and are currently more numerous than millennials or boomers.]

Millennials & Gen Z are big gift card buyers in the US - over 1/3 buy a card every 3 months.

Brick & mortar stores & malls are using your phone location data (location analytics) to make marketing and product decisions. “Every company interviewed for this story said it chooses not to use information that could identify individuals. But for the most part they’re on an honor system because rules governing data remain relatively lax.” This surprised me: “To glean details, including an individual’s age, income, ethnicity, education level, number of children and more, firms connect the phone’s evening location with U.S. Census data”

Additions to my lists of favourite birds and butterflies and creation of B lists of them

This morning I had a long overdue sort of my lists of my favourite birds, butterflies as well as mammals and dragonflies and damselflies to a lesser extent. As some of you may know I have a long list of favourite birds and butterflies especially as I always find it hard to just pick one favourite and over the years of my hobby many species have been so precious to me. Since 2015 when I last added to my list of favourite birds I tried to be strict with adding any.

However over those years and especially in the last few weeks I have felt there were a few species I had began to really love deeper and wondered whether it might be time to start calling them a favourite bird of mine. The same really happened with butterflies.

I first considered during my long think this morning do I want to carry on with these lists or just disband my list of favourites and let it flow a bit more. But I came to the conclusion that calling something a favourite of mine is still the most simple way to express the ultimate form of how good I feel about it, and at the heart of my hobby as much as anything is the fact that I really like keeping lists.

In every walk of life really I have many favourites of things. Things like my favourite football player or my favourite food for example are things I might not want a strict list of, my favourite football player tends to change a bit and is probably always gonna play for my (one and only) team. My favourite food I don’t really care enough to enter it onto a spreadsheet. But with the species of animals within my main hobby I obviously do care so much and its quite geeky but I like to have it all organised and ordered so I still need my lists of favourites I thought. I may not do it as much in future who knows but for now I am committed to it.

So I listed birds and butterflies I have had those feelings for and put them through a little competition where I scored them on particular criteria. From this I added three birds to my list of favourite brids to make that 27, two to my list of favourite butterflies to make it 11, one dragonfly to make it 6 favourite dragonfly and damselfly species I have and I kept mammals at 8 favourites as I felt there were no more to add currently. These are high numbers but when you think I have seen 259 birds and 44 butterflies in my life the percentage of them that are my favourites is still considerably low. So I am happy adding a few more for now, as long as my list of favourite birds doesn’t get towards 50 ish or butterflies 25 I should be all right but I really don’t think there will be any or many more additions for years to come now.

But building on the idea of lists for those unsuccessful candidates in my activity this morning I have created a “B list” of favourite birds and butterflies for me. The birds containing 9, Short-eared Owl, Barn Owl, Yellowhammer (As shown at Martin Down in 2015 in the 8th picture in this photoset), Great White Egret, Spoonbill, Spotted Redshank, Little Tern (As shown at Lymington in the 7th picture in this photoset), Manx Shearwater and Chough. For butterflies its 5, Clouded Yellow, Small Copper (as photographed in the 10th and final in this photoset at Lakeside Country Park in 2015), Green Hairstreak, Marsh Fritillary and Marbled White (as shown at Lakeside in the 9th picture in this photoset). So this is gonna be a more casual list of birds and butterflies I do love a lot but not quite enough to be among my favourites.

This I hope will further facilitate me being able to identify my favourite species in a group of birds, for example no wader or tern appears on my list of favourite birds so Spotted Redshank and Little Tern will have that title. I am hoping this will also make it easier for me to make additions to my list of favourite birds and butterflies, because I could simply if I found myself feeling more for a species add it to my B list and see how it compares to those species to see if it could go one step further to be a favourite of mine. These species may also have the chance to grow on me even more and be promoted to my list of favourite birds or butterflies, there’s nothing to stop me even demoting the birds I have added this time around if I felt I made a mistake down the line or whilst I didn’t feel the need to do it this morning take off certain existing favourite birds of mine.

Short-eared Owl is a good example to show what my B list is for, after an extraordinary 2017 sighting of them at Farlington Marshes where they had come back into my life a year before I had those first “should it be a favourite bird” feelings. But I’ve not seen one since which cost it a bit today in my choosing but if I go and see it loads of times in the future now I might find I have connected to it enough to promote it. Going below my B list I have had a cracking two years or so for Water Rails for example so might I want to add that maybe, however they’re still a bird you’ll often get a quick or in a quite obscured view of so whilst its always amazing to see one its harder to connect to it or for it to be a favourite or secondary favourite in a sense.

With it all getting a bit more fluid I have decided when I do my next extended bio update on Twitter not to have my favourite birds and butterflies listed. I will still obviously shout about them being my favourites on Twitter and blogs here when I’ve photographed them maybe like I do with Buzzard in my post of what I did today shortly but I’m more gonna keep my lists to myself rather. So without further ado, here are the additions to my lists of favourites.

Birds: My favourite bird list is largely made up of (from what I have seen) whole families of birds. The auks, the woodpeckers, and families with more than one on my favourites too like warbler and duck. One of those really big families I adore as you can maybe tell is the birds of prey. So three raptors stood out to me this morning and Golden Eagle (shown in the 1st picture in this photoset my first ever at Strathdearn, Scotland last year), Peregrine Falcon (shown at Winchester Cathedral last month) and Red Kite (shown at Llanddeusant, Brecon Beacons where I saw loads feed in 2013) and are my new favourite birds.

Golden Eagle was one of my dream birds which I finally saw last year which was perhaps the biggest highlight of my extraordinary time in Scotland, Black Guillemot, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and Tawny Owl were original members of birds I had dreamt of seeing which sailed onto my list of favourite birds but Golden Eagle was later added to the dream birds and the whole of the last year or so I have been wondering if to add the Golden Eagle, whilst I might not see it often, to my favourites and I have gone for it today.

I would be lying if I said the connection of the Peregrine Falcons nesting for a third year running on Winchester Cathedral which I work near to didn’t have anything to do with its addition. Yesterday I loved seeing two of them again and being able to see these birds on my lunch break has allowed me to really celebrate them, learn about them and like I had when I added Dartford Warbler to my list of favourite birds my heart has just swelled for this bird.

Red Kite has been knocking around just below my list of favourite birds for some years. It was time to stop denying that I find them so beautiful, rugged and charming. They are the bird of Wales where I have had so many experiences with my original set of favourite birds the auks and Gannet, Kittiwake, Fulmar so I think this helps too.

Butterflies: One of my new favourite butterflies is also a relative of an existing favourite as the White Admiral shown at Pamber Forest in 2015 the fourth picture in this photoset joins one of my early favourites Red Admiral. This is a butterfly I have really developed a connection with and flair for since seeing my first in 2013 at Bentley Wood.

The other addition looks similar to it and is one I’ve only seen on one occasion at Knepp last year, the Purple Emperor as shown there in the fifth picture in this photoset I took on July 1st last year. For this species it became a massive goal for me to see one for years similar to that of my dream birds and I think it exceeded all my expectations when I did last summer and since I have just grown to really love it. 2018 was probably a pivotal year for my hobby so like with the Golden Eagle and that Scotland trip this was the main star of the Knepp safari and a massive part of my best ever year for butterflies and summer so that amazing year allowed these species to be in this position for me.

Dragonfly: As a species I have come to recognise, photograph like in the sixth in this photoset at Bentley Wood in 2017 and appreciate how beautiful they are in recent years Southern Hawker was an addition to my list of favourite dragonflies and damselflies I wanted to make for ages and did now.

So these are some additions I have made for now and who knows where my lists will head in future. But what I love about nature is you never know what species you will have a phenomenal experience with next so just because something is not a favourite of mine it does’t mean it can’t make my heart skip.

Since I’ve only been here a short time, I’ve had to do a lot of research to get up to speed on previous ego appearances and Antipocalypse hints. So, I thought I would put together a timeline to help out other people in the community who are in the same situation, especially since a lot of you have finals going on and you don’t have time to go digging through all of this stuff. It may also help jog theorists’ memories with things that could be linked to the current Seánanigans. I’ve spent a lot of time gathering all this, but it’s not comprehensive, so please feel free to add on!

- At the end of the video, instead of the usual outro, the camera moves into the bathroom where Jack sits hunched with his feet in the tub, muttering in a Gollum-like voice. When he realizes he's being watched, he slowly turns his head, then lunges toward the camera screaming, “Get out!” The video cuts to black and there is no outro.

Postcard Incident on Tumblr

- Jack posts what appears to be a postcard that says “Wish You Were Here.” Community members determine the background picture is from a beach in Germany. As the hours pass, the picture changes several times, getting more blood-spattered and glitched with each update. The image is then deleted from Jack's blog less than 12 hours after it was posted.

[I believe it's around this time that Jack answers a question about which egos are canon during a stream and makes it clear that the six official egos are Anti, Jackieboy Man, Dr. Schneeplestein, Marvin, Chase Brody, and Jameson Jackson]

- “Dr. Jacksepticeye” parodies Dr. Schneeplestein's intro from Power Hour #2

- Dr. Schneeplestein returns, but his “good friend” Jack doesn't seem to recognize him and asks, “Who are you?” Instead of greeting Jack like a friend who's been gone for a while, Schneep responds, “I am the good doctor, and that is my chair!” It has been noted that his expression shows both anger and fear, and that Jack's face displays not confusion, but a startled look as if he's been caught doing something he shouldn't by someone he didn't expect to see.

Stories Untold Chapter 1

- The usual intro is missing. While doing the outro, “Jack” stops and says, “What was that? Did you hear that? It sounded like somebody…” He tenses up as we hear the sound of the door handle turning, and looks over his shoulder as the door creaks open behind him. After a flash of lighting and crack of thunder, we see the desk from the game, and a staticky black-and-white image of Jack appears on the computer screen.

Barry Has a Secret

- Jack gets through part of his intro, then goes into a super creepy voice and Anti-like grin.

- At the end of the video, Jack is talking about having nothing to hide, then the video starts to fade to black as he shouts, “Hey, where are you going?” This is followed by a found-footage-style skit similar to that at the end of Giant Smelly Feet. The person holding the camera goes into the bathroom; the video glitches, speeds up and rewinds intermittently as the person reaches out to open a cupboard and finds a small plastic hand inside. Off-camera, we hear Jack's voice say, “Hey, what are you doing?” The camera turns and he is standing very close by, grinning and saying, “Hey. You weren't supposed to find that.” There are more glitches during this part as well. Just like in Giant Smelly Feet, there is no outro after Jack reaches for the camera and the video cuts to black.

Stories Untold Chapter 2

- The usual intro is missing, replaced by the SU-specific intro

- Jack's outro is interrupted as the screen starts to flash white and the facecam video appears to speed up, showing him going limp just before the screen goes white and then cuts to the image of the floating, glowing machines from the game

- At the end of the video, the screen goes dark and we hear, “Jack. Jack! This is Chase. You need to wake up.” We then get Morse code saying, “Where am I?”

Jack posts a picture on Instagram of him wearing Chase's shirt with Marvin's mask partially visible in the background. The photo is deleted less than 24 hours later.

Community members notice an emoji in a social media post. Jack usually uses :D, :P, etc., so it was strange to see him use an actual emoji. @viostormcaller was able to predict Chase's appearance on this day from this clue.

Tie – A Game About Depression

- This is Chase playing. We get absolutely indisputable confirmation at the end that we’re seeing Chase. He talks about one of his best friends being in a coma, which is most like Jack, hence hearing him say, “Jack. Jack! This is Chase. You need to wake up.” There is a distinct transition at 11:03 where the shirt he’s wearing changes - it goes from a black shirt to Chase’s shirt. Even before this, he’s talking about being a single dad with two kids and struggling with depression. At the end of the video, we see Chase drinking while looking at a photo of the family he’s lost. He sets his hat down next to the bottle of alcohol at the very end.

Dark Silence

- The light in the recording room flickers and Jack looks up, saying, “Oh, god” as it appears to shatter and the lighting turns red.

- Toward the end of the video, the in-game character is wandering a hospital with a flashlight when the overhead lights in the hallway start turning off one by one, the darkness coming closer and closer. Jack says, “I know where this is going” just before the last light goes out; we hear the character scream as the screen goes dark, including the facecam.

- We cut to Jack (possibly Chase) flicking on a lighter. He wanders a dark hallway, and we hear children’s cries and whispers similar to those in Stories Untold Chapter 4. A red glow washes over him, and we see Antisepticeye, silhouetted by red light in a doorway. Jack/Chase asks, “Who’s there?” and Anti turns his head, grinning, and a bright green light ignites in his right eye (left to the viewer). Jack/Chase asks, “Where are they? What do you want from me?” Anti stalks toward the camera, glitching, and the video cuts to black.

Baldi’s Basics

- The video appears normal except for the skit at the end, in which Jack has changed into Chase’s shirt. He scribbles on a piece of paper and pleads with the teacher, hunching up in fear before the cut to the Sam animation. After the animation, he sits up and smiles, which is very reminiscent of the ending scene from Bro Average/The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Chase Brody.
