I wanna get you slightly acquainted with Icefalls character so here’s a brief description of her backstory
I thought up half of this earlier on the fly:
To summarize her up best, she’s the daughter of Solstice and an Icewing soldier, who when she died Solstice went into isolation, with him taking Icefalls egg with him, because he knew Icewing culture wouldn’t treat an orphaned dragonet with no known parents well.
While growing up, Icefall was treated and taught well by her father, with Icefall developing into a very happy and excited dragon, always running around her tower, and doing whatever she could to cheer her dad up.
However, she always couldn’t help but feel lonely, even if she loved her father, it was far from the amount of interaction she’d want. And so for a time, she began to sneak away to interact with others, but even then, she never was able to connect with them.
Her dad however learned about her sneaking away, but instead of being angry, he told her why he can never leave that tower, telling her about all of horrible creations he made, and how he must stay so that he can never harm others again, which Icefall understands and slightly misinterprets, thinking she has to as well.
Things changed however with I’m thinking either the ice plague or makeshift brightest night(I’m leaning ice plague, so I’ll explain that one) when Icefall ended up infected by it, and Solstice made a quick decision to use his magic to save her, breaking the key he had made holding the creatures in the process(I imagine he made it so as long as he never casts another spell, they could never be unleashed)
This lead to Solstice going further in his isolation, and then to Icefall going out to try and find and take back these creatures.
This is when she met Clay! With her at first thinking he was one of them due to him not looking like any dragon she’d seen before. However, she quickly realized he was a normal, and very attractive, dragon, and so began to flirt as they fought, with her managing to be evasive compared to his strength, only for him to managed to grab and pin her.
Icefall immediately followed this by licking her, which made him fumble over and let her pin him. At this point however, she decided to tell him sorry, and that she thought he was a horrible beast. She then tells him her name, ~~and that she’s everything he’d want out a dragon wink wink nudge nudge~~, and tried to ease him into what was happening, only for one of her father’s creations to attack them, with the two however easily stopping it.
Clay however was starting to get affected by the cold, so Icefall did the chivalrous thing and took him to her home, giving him a warm blanket as well.
When her dad saw him, his first reaction was fear/relief that a mudwing remembered him and had come to take his life, then shock that Icefall had brought a dragon to where he wanted to be hidden from, and then fear and horror that his daughter brought a male dragon to their home. He lightened up however after she explained that she picked up the hot guy to save his life
though wouldn’t mind if things escalated
Clay was surprised at Solstice being so respectful to him, until Solstice told him he long grown disillusioned with the idea of Icewing superiority.
Solstice then told him about the creations(though did not specify HE was the one who made them) and how they were unleashed due to the lock for it being broken.
Icefall then mentioned to him how she’s gone out trying to stop these, and Solstice told her it’s a bad idea, only for Icefall to tell him to basically shut it, because she needs to do this not only to save other dragons, but to save him as well. Solstice caved in, and gave her the absorbing blade
And now here and Clay have monster hunting adventures in the ice kingdom! And get into all kind of shenanigans along the way
I imagine Icefall having a semi one sided love for Clay(both physical and emotional based), but she lets it wane away after learning about Peril, due to not wanting to get in the way of that for them
But is COMPLETELY ready to swoop in if Peril fumbles
Oooo !!!
Just wanna say one thing, if they’re in the ice kingdom, how did Clay get in? I’m assuming this is before Snowfall destroyed the wall so :p

But soon they arrived at the Croft Icefall, where Ciri nearly met her demise the last time.
Taking a big breath and smiling softly at her husband, Ciri started climbing the wall.
This time, she was successful and they celebrated the achievement having some loving time inside the mountain cave.

if you could put steven or lorelei in any one tangible place in a Pokemon game (ex: Meteor Falls, Ice Cave, Exeggutor Island, etc), what place would you chose and why? of course they could be together in a place you pick too, but I'd also be curious of a location where you think meeting them alone would be interesting, like showing us a side of them that fits your ship really well
Oooooh it's gotta be Icefall Cave and/or Shoal Cave since both locations have so many parallels (full of ice types, close to their respective homes, accessible late games... (it's just as well Steven doesn't appear in Shoal Cave in any of the Hoenn games or I'd swear GF were just messing with me at that point) Steven is canonically a traveller so it's not TOO much of a reach to imagine he might turn up on the Sevii Islands somewhere (if they ever come back... I beg of you daddy gamefreak) since he's appeared, or at least hinted at in other regions... (He turns up in Vermillion City in HGSS! The ferry terminal is right there... plz...) Maybe Lorelei might show up at the Lilycove Dept Store shopping for dolls? (Maybe an event to give the player those rare Regi dolls that you needed the e-reader stuff for... who knows?) If I had to pick a location for them to be together it'd be the Marine Tunnel for no other reason other than I really like it and I think it'd be romantic uwu

Still thinking about my pokemas quotes dive. Mainly about Lorelei. Wanna make hcs for her sooo bad but I can't figure out where to start. Here's what I do know.
Used to be a sickly and lonely child. Was pretty much stuck in her room by herself with just her stuffed pokemon. Hence her love for cute things.
Traveled a lot sometimes in her past. Dreamed of finding an Aurora.
Four island is ,I think, the furthest away from all the islands, and requires a special pass to get to. It's pretty isolated, even for a standard island .
Has a deep connection to pokemon; values their thoughts and feelings, and seems to have a disdain for those who mistreat them.
Oh, and she canonically caught her Lapras in the ice caves.
So just from all of that, I kinda have some....ideas? For one, I think Lorelei is a tiny bit aloof, mostly due to her upbringing and isolation of four islands. While she handles herself with grace, I can imagine her early years as a trainer were....awkward. Being from the islands, being so aloof, and definitely not being used to interacting with more than a handful of people was a recipe for pre conceived notions and ice cold glares. Not to say that the ice hold glares stopped, but she's far more eloquent than how she used to be.
We don't know much about Lorelei's parents or grandparents or any other relatives she could have. But the fact that she distinctly remembers that she was very lonely with only her stuffed pokemon for company is telling me. My take is that her parents were pretty absent in her life, even when they took her to four island for her health. Even when she got better, they still weren't around. Four island isn't the smallest island, I believe, at least population wise, but again, those years just cooper up in her room definitely hindered her ability to connect with any children her age.....hence why I think she spent most of her time in icefall cave, despite it's danger.
Her catching Lapras was. Risky. I think. From my knowledge it seems to be the first pokemon she ever caught? So either she bonded with it for a while before catching it or Lorelei fought for her life to prove her worth. Or both. I think it caused a bit of an uproar really. Varying reactions, some in awe, some in shock. Some in fear. But it was fine because she had a new friend in Lapras.
To skip going full biography here: Being an elite 4 wasn't something she ever really considered. Her main goal when she was younger was traveling around in a way she wasn't allowed to when she was younger. But I think her reputation as " the little girl that caught that Lapras" and " the coldest trainer of all sevii islands" caught some attention from the league. I think she denied at first, again prioritizing traveling, but overtime her desire to be stronger , to protect pokemon, grew. So eventually, she ends up taking up that offer and started training to become an elite ( who trained her? Probably Agatha or Pryce).
Aaaand yeah. That's all I have so far lol.

I went to my next marker on my map of a shrine and found a cave blocked by ice. I melted it and went into the Icefall Foothills Cave and there was even more ice that I had to melt, including a hole in the floor. I then had to melt a piece of ice into a hole in the wall where the Otak Shrine: Proving Grounds: Traps. It was another one where I had to beat the constructs with only what was in the shrine. It wasn’t too difficult and I beat them all and got my equipment back and got the Light of Blessing at the altar, and now I had 9. Next, I broke the ice in the ceiling and went up into the room above to find the glow frog and now I have 52 Bubbul Gem (98 total).

Lol, well, since you have graciously asked, I have some time to kill at the airport before my flight, and this has driven me CRAZY ever since I started watching, here is my non-exhaustive list. I am most of the way through season 2, so I haven't finished, but yes. Sidenote that the show itself is delightful and charming and the characters are wonderful, so I do recommend it to my followers on that note alone, but I cannot stress enough how the oblivious Hollywood type writing it has almost surely never set foot outside Southern California and/or the glitzy parts of British Columbia, because:
THERE IS SO MUCH WATER. We can start here. This show is so clearly filmed in the Pacific Northwest/British Columbia where there is a lot of water, and not in the exceedingly dry Mountain West. Harry lives next to a ginormous lake. People go boating on ANOTHER huge lake. THERE IS PROBABLY NOT THIS MUCH WATER IN ALL OF COLORADO. We have a few dinky reservoirs and we are constantly worried about the snowpack levels, wildfires, droughts and all the other bad things that happen when your state is a giant dry tinderbox. So yes.
Likewise, there is a full-on, Mount Everest-Khumbu-Icefall-style glacier in the mountains outside town, evidently. One that is fifty feet deep and has crevasses that you can fall into and nearly die, a la the Big Reveal episode with Harry and Asta in season 1. I cannot stress enough how much this does not exist in arid, adjoining-Arizona-and-New-Mexico-desert Southwestern Colorado, where Patience is allegedly supposed to be located (as they reference Gunnison and travel down to the Southern Ute Reservation which is right on the southern border of CO/NM). There is ONE glacier in all of Colorado, it is called St. Mary's Glacier, it is basically a permanent snowfield, and I have hiked up it with literally zero specialist equipment. That episode is, of course, very important for Plot Reasons, but I'm pretty sure it was the one that caused me to make this post yelling OH MY GOD NO.
Likewise: when they fall down the crevasse and Harry is badly hurt, Asta comes over and puts the still-packed emergency tinfoil blanket behind his head as a pillow, then goes and lies down on the opposite side of the ice cave. That also caused me to yell OH MY GOD GIRL YOU'RE GOING TO DIE. Because I obviously ship Harry/Asta (though I also ship The Fuck out of Asta/D'arcy) and was hoping for some good old Cuddle For Warmth, but then they don't even do that?? Plot reasons etc etc Harry needs to stay cold because his species is from a frozen planet, but Asta would unwrap the blanket and put it around herself and then at least LIE DOWN NEXT TO HIM. OTHERWISE YES SHE HERSELF IS PROBABLY GONNA FREEZE TO DEATH. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW MUCH THAT SCENE VEXED ME.
This is not a town of 1,000 people. It just is Not. The establishing shot they used in season 1 at least looks like it could be a small mountain town like Ouray or something, but in season 2, they have an establishing shot that is clearly a full-on city (or at MINIMUM 10,000 people) with tons of lights/houses in the valley. I have lived in a tiny rural Colorado town with 600 people; just over 1000 if you count the neighboring technically-separate township. There is not squat. There is Way Too Much happening and too many places to go for Patience to be a tiny town in fuckass nowhere.
Likewise: I started laughing at how many gourmet restaurants there are in town, evidently? The French restaurant, the fancy sushi place, the OTHER fancy place that D'arcy goes with her parents, etc. Said Hollywood screenwriter going WELL OF COURSE THEY WOULD HAVE A FANCY RESTAURANT TO GO TO AT ALL TIMES!!! has clearly never been to Fuckoff Nowhere, Population Welp, where the dining options are: burger restaurant, burger restaurant, sort-of-nicer steakhouse with a lot of antlers, burger restaurant with also pizza, Pizza Place Literally Covered With Christian Nationalist Propaganda, and that is it. Even with the steakhouse, these are all small and slightly grungy places that have shall we say, a rustic vibe. Even Joe's Diner is something that would only exist in a place with, like, at least 5,000 people.
Likewise: The town is clearly very diverse and has a lot of Asian, Black, Muslim, Hispanic, Native American, etc. people just living there. However, while I appreciate them doing this for fictional purposes and to diversify the cast of the show, I must note for the record that these tiny-rural-town places are painfully white. I was desperate for a sight of somebody with so much as a suntan. I think I saw maybe two people of color the entire time I lived there.
On that note: Sheriff Mike is a fun character, but the sheriff in the county where I lived was allegedly associated with the goddamn Proud Boys and had given a speech at a white supremacist event, and when I went into the police station to get fingerprinted for a job, you can bet they had the Thin Blue Line flag hanging up prominently. It was, to say the least, a creepy fucking place.
The town is also way too young and hip (see the above point about all the fancy restaurants) in general. Most people in these places are older, white, and shall we say, Extremely Trumpy.
Also: Ben the mayor is depicted as a slightly goofy young guy, somewhat in over his head, implied to be liberal, who faces no opposition from the town at all except from the scheming mayor in the next town over. There has not been one plotline about the local arch-conservatives scheming to recall him/force him out (as has happened with every single member of the county commissioners in my thankfully-ex-hometown to date, even the conservative ones) because he hasn't been nutty enough for their tastes. Also, likewise due to said Tea Party/MAGA lunatics, there's no way he would have gotten elected in the first place.
The townies also briefly notice that Harry is weird, but then get on to basically accepting him with no questions asked. Oh if only this were true. In the place where I lived, you weren't really From There unless your ancestors had literally arrived with the first wave of white settlers in the late 19th century and had stayed ever since. They also resent new people moving in and trying to change the way Things Have Always Been Done.
Also: Kate has a fancy older-ish Volvo. Nobody has a Volvo. They all have pickups, SUVs, or four-wheel drives. WHERE ARE YOUR SNOW TIRES. OR YOUR SUBARU. THAT CAR IS GONNA FALL RIGHT OFF THE MOUNTAIN PASS IN WINTERTIME, GIRL.
The streets of the town itself also look very Pacific Northwestern (the kind of trees, the large and fancy houses, etc).
On that note, we haven't had a single weirdo walking around with an open-carry gun, or insisting on marching on the Fourth of July parade while heavily armed (also real examples) because it is Their God Given Second Amendment Right. They just... do that.
They're apparently building all kinds of fancy resorts over in Jessup, The Archrival Town of Patience. Now, I will be generous and say that maybe this is supposed to be like Telluride, but also... once again y'all are clearly filming this in British Columbia and think this is basically the same in rural southwestern Colorado as it is with fancy destination resorts in the Canadian Rockies. It is not.
I am sure there are other things, but yes, this is what came to mind just off the top of my head. Alas.
I have started watching Resident Alien on Netflix, which is a very charming and oftentimes quite funny show and I am otherwise enjoying it a lot, but as someone who has actually lived in small-town Colorado, I can't even count the number of times I have yelled THAT IS NOT ACCURATE!!! at the television screen.
#resident alien#once again: the show itself is tons of fun and very charming#but also as noted by the above#the hollywood screenwriter DESPERATELY needs to visit like. one place that isn't in southern california or glitzy british columbia#one please i beg you

Why I don't like Unity
There's three reasons, basically, besides my personal inability to get any custom character assets into Unity, Unreal, or Godot.
Let me tell you below the readmore.
Reason #1: it managed to fucking bluescreen my system just trying to start.
How do you fuck that up? I download an installer and run it. This gives me a launcher. From there, I'm supposed to install the actual product I wanted to begin with. That's bad enough, to be honest. But then the fucking launcher managed to break so badly, I had my first BSOD in several months. With all I do to my poor laptops, I so very rarely got crashes like that it honestly threw me the fuck off.
If the launcher is gonna play like that, forget about installing the actual product.
Reason #2: CPU pegging up the ass.
On my previous laptop, attempting to run basically any Unity-based game would peg the CPU, all cores, until the poor thing ran so hot within mere minutes, it'd commit preventative sudoku. Maybe if I was lucky, I'd get a chance to set all the things to "lowest", and that might let me, I dunno, play long enough to get through the goddamn tutorial?
And I'm not even talking about state-of-the-art 3D games, but simple 2D games with low-resolution pixel art. Why would those run a dual-core at 200% until it fucking kills itself? Makes no sense.
Now, Phil Fortier of Icefall Games is an acquaintance of mine via SCI shenanigans, and when he released Snow Spirit (soon to be rereleased as part of Chronicles of Cascadia), I lamented to him about how his use of Unity would mean I couldn't run any of his stuff. So Phil looked into it and found a Big Fucking Thing to optimize. This basically makes Phil's SCI games the only things made in Unity that I can personally trust won't Do That.
Reason #3: About those 2D games...
I'm gonna dip into my Twitter archives for a bit and repost some stuff for this part.
*wavy flashback effect*
This is Angel Jump, a simple little arcade jumping game that's available on itch.io:
It's delightfully low resolution and has like four seconds of audio all added up. Can't be more than a few MB, depending on which sane development framework they used, right?
33 MB, actually. Because Unity. Let's see how it breaks down:
Unity main exe: 623 KB
Main game assets file: 1.19 MB together
A folder full of support DLLs like terrain and cloth: 7.17 MB, 90% or more of them never called because this is a 2D pixel-art game.
Unity's default resources: 3.41 MB. Mind that of these, only the splash logo is actually used because Angel Jump was made in the free edition.
Mono embedded runtime: 2.61 MB, and each game gets its own copy, much like how Electron apps each have their own copies of Chromium.
And another 17 MB for the Unity Player.
All in all, 33 MB of files for a game like that. Why? Because Unity is a bloated crapsack, I'd conclude from a cursory study like that. Let's compare that to some other games.
This is Elevator Girl, which is not on itch.io.
It has a lot of different animations and three fairly long background music tracks. It's only one file, 18.7 MB. I'm willing to bet most of that is the BGM, but I can't confirm it because it's just the one file.
And just for some historical perspective, the entire Crystal Caves trilogy is 1.31 MB, including some chaff. Commander Keen 4 on its own is 740 KB. Now, Keen and Elevator Girl both have OPL soundtracks, but the latter's is probably streamed.
Noxico is only 1.25 MB to download as a .7z file. Its only optimization that I myself actively apply is that I crunch the PNG files. The rest is text, and since the game uses a .zip file by another name as a game data source... yeah. That's a cheap win.
Now, back to Angel Jump. I went through the game's own resources to see what size it could conceivably have if it was not made in Unity. 54 textures, ten of them actually used. Tiny font stored in a weird way, possibly for distance field trickery which has no business in a 2D pixel game if you ask me. 921 KB of WAV files, high-quality bleepity-bloops, two of them jingles. 4.22 KB of PNG files, crunched like Noxico, for all but the creator's logo and the font. 973 KB for a copy of SDL, and I'd estimate at worst two MB for the main EXE.
The entire Angel Jump game could be no more than 4 MB and a half-dozen files, It's actually 33.2 MB, 92 files.
There's a more general computer programming issue that this reliance on Unity for even the simplest, smallest games seems to spring from: the bigger and better the computers get, the more lazy the developers get. Only have like four MHz, 640 KB of RAM and, what, 720 KB of diskette space, and no guarantee of an HDD? Better make the most of it, developers! But now the pressure's off and there's no more reason to exert any effort into keeping small games actually small.
*sigh*

Here's a list of places I'll read off. Tell me if anything pings you.

The Sevii Islands sound amazing, and I'd really love to visit them sometime, but I'm a little bit worried about being unwelcome - I'd hate to be a nuisance to the locals! I'm mostly looking for training and exploring (Mt. Ember, icefall cave, pattern bush, etc). Do you think I'd be a bother as long as I stayed out of their hair, or would they prefer less vacationers in general and I'd have better luck somewhere like Hoenn?
Luckily, most of the locations you've mentioned tend to rely on tourists. While it's true that you may want to avoid going to the islands during peak tourist seasons (namely, summer) and certainly go with the intent on respecting the islands' natural beauty and local culture (that is, avoid quieter islands such as Two or Six, don't visit Memorial Pillar without reason, and don't attempt to visit any island that you can't visit by ferry such as Birth or Navel), generally speaking, Sevii Islanders welcome tourists, as it's tourism that forms the backbone of Sevii's economy.
That mouthful having been said, if you do visit, I'd highly encourage either doing so with a vetted tour company or doing a heavy amount of research into the local area before setting off. I could give you the run-down of the islands' local culture, but it really depends on what, specifically, you want to do. When in doubt, read up on blogs run by locals or simply ask a local for tips.

Fairytale Seven Dwarfs

A band of bachelor dwarfs earns a living exploring the caves throughout the land and collecting the treasures deep within. Beyond the echoing caves of Mt. Komorebi, the skilled and adventurous will find a cave atop Croft Icefall. Exploring the cave on the island of Sulani will reveal a mural masterpiece. Powerful Kyber Crystals are found in a cave on the distant world of Batuu. But their favorite cave is the Forgotten Grotto of Oasis Springs.

So, I promised in a previous post that I'd do the Sevii Islands, and here we are. I'm going to go more in depth here since what I'm talking about is WAY less than what I was talking about yesterday.
The Sevii Islands are the third of the 3 explorable regions in gen 3 of pokemon, Hoenn (RSE), Kanto (FrLg), and the Islands (FrLg).
They serve as the post-game area for Fire Red and Leaf Green, with all the fun stuff like a battle tower, cable games, and E-Reader functions. They are also where one can catch the Johto and Hoenn pokemon.
With that out of the way, let's go on
Sevii Islands?
The name "Sevii" is comprised of two parts, Seven (Sev) and VII(vii), which is seven in roman numerals. Obviously, the theme here is the number 7, but...
...as you can see in the HIGHLY unclear image of the official art (sorry, couldn't find a higher resolution) there are actually 9 main Islands, so why 7?
Well, as an old woman NPC on Quest Island (Seven Island) tells you, the islands are named Sevii because they were created in seven days. Nifty.
Knot Island (One Island)
There's not much to explain here, especially because I don't see how any of knot's definitions are relevant to anything that happens on the island.
Perhaps it's an English saying or phrase that involves knots and beginnings?
Boon Island (Two Island)
This one is easy. Boons are gifts; blessings.
The ultimate move tutor lives here (on Cape Brink). The Ultimate Moves (Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon) are boons given to the starters who have a strong bond with their trainer.
There's also the gifts received for winning the cable games at the Game Corner.
I do believe, however, that "Boon" is more relevant to the old lady on Cape Brink (her name is Ultima in the Pokemon Adventures Manga, and in that canon she's good friends with Mr Stone, Drake, and Captain Briney).
Kin Island (Three Island)
One of the best named islands in my opinion.
"Kin" is family, or someone with whom you share a close, strong, bond (not usually of the romantic sort).
In the games, the reason you go to Kin Island is because the Boon Island Game Corner's owner has sent you to look for Lostelle, his daughter; his kin.
Then comes a bit of irony, because when you reach the Island, you find Kantonian Bikers fighting against the Sevii Islanders (this serves as the reminder to the player that the Sevii Islands and Kanto are different regions under the jurisdiction of the same league).
By defeating the Bikers and sending them away, you strengthen the bond between the Sevii Islanders and the remaining Kantonians (not just on Three Island, but on One and Two Islands too). You strengthen their kinship.
Lastly, Three Island is two (fraternal) twin islands joined by Bond Bridge. Kinship, again.
Pretty cool, huh.
Floe Island (Four Island)
This one is also pretty aptly named.
Four Island is the smallest and most isolated of the populated islands, with no routes to speak of.
It also happens to be home to Lorelei, who visits the island on story related business that I'm not interested in discussing.
Fun fact: Lorelei's house is full of pokemon plushies.
And finally, the reason for it's name: it is the only island of the Sevii Islands that has a place cold enough for a substantial amount of ice to form; Icefall Cave.
That's the reason for it's name, really. A floe is a sheet of floating ice, after all.
This also explains Lorelei's type expertise.
The true question is: was Floe Island designed around Lorelei, or was Lorelei designed alongside Floe Island?
Much to think about...
Chrono Island (Five Island)
I feel this one is the island with a name that doesn't entirely make sense.
"Chrono" is a suffix that means "time".
At a glance, there's nothing particularly time-related on this island, especially since IF they were to make Celebi obtainable in this game, it would most likely be an encounter or even on Six Island.
HOWEVER, the island has two locations, Water Labyrinth and Lost Cave, that were designed to be time-consuming. Lost Cave is a maze that punishes unprepared trainers and can be extremely time consuming if one doesn't know what they're doing.
Five Island also houses Resort Gorgeous, where Selphy lives. Once she's been rescued from the Lost Cave, she begins to give the player requests that can be extremely time-consuming.
Anyway, I feel this island is named less because of how the player interacts with it, and more because of the very rich people who live on it and do nothing but waste their time.
Fortune Island (Six Island)
Another island I feel could have been better named.
Six Island is most known for:
1. Being the best(easily-accessible) stargazing spot in the whole of Kanto-Johto-Sevii Islands. I say easily-accessible because Mt Silver probably provides a more magical view on clear nights, but it isn't the easiest place to get to.
2. Having, alongside Seven Island, some of the oldest known structures (not just in Kanto, but in the rest of the world).
As you can see, there's not much fortune to anything on the island.
The only thing that could possible be fortune (and this is a bit of a reach) is how the Altering Cave was originally meant to work (as a place where more pokemon from Johto-Hoenn could be captured).
I think this island should have been called Riddle Island or Enigma Island, because everything seems to have a historical significance (Pattern Bush, Altering Cave, Dotted Hole) but their significance hasn't been puzzled out or found yet.
Quest Island (Seven Island)
This one is pretty straight forward.
It gives the player the whole Treasure Hunter/Adventurer vibe with the Tanoby Key and Tanoby Ruins.
It also gives the player the infinite quest for strength feeling with the Battle Tower.
Navel Rock
Navel's second definition is midpoint; centre.
You could take this literally, as Navel Rock IS at the centre of its portion of the map.
You could also take this in a different way, with Navel Rock being the centre of a whole bunch of Lugia and Ho-Oh myths.
Both could apply.
Birth Island
I'm... not sure. Is this because it's the island where Deoxys(when looked at as a space virus) was "born" to this earth? Mmmm, honestly, I don't know.
