I LOVE ALL YOUR PETER WORKS AAAA and i was wondering how do you picture peter having a crush on someone who isn’t exactly a nerd like he is (so she would be soooo impressed by anything he says even if she wouldn’t show it) because i bet he would be a cutie patatooie anyway aaaa thanks for your time and take all the time you need, xoxo thanks again!!
this is a little short, sorry. i guess my writing juices are starting to falter a bit, lol. hope you like it!
send an ask for my 2,000 followers celebration!
warnings/tags: awkward peter, peter trying to flirt and be cool, fluff
He doesn’t think he has a chance at first. You’re not into tech. You don’t read comics. You don’t speak “science.” And yet—every time he starts rambling about string theory or particle acceleration, you just… watch him. Quiet. Patient. And he melts.
You don’t interrupt. You don’t nod off. You just listen, arms crossed, head tilted a little, like “what kind of adorable alien are you?” You don’t say you’re impressed—but your eyes sparkle and he feels it.
Peter’s convinced you’re secretly bored. He’ll backtrack mid-sentence: “Sorry, that was dumb. You probably don’t care about quantum tunneling—” You shrug. “I mean… I don’t know what that is, but the way you say it makes it sound cool.” (Peter.exe has stopped working.)
You never ask him to stop being smart. He notices that. He’s used to people zoning out when he geeks out. But you? You let him talk. And sometimes you smile in this quiet, amused way like he’s showing you a magic trick. It makes him trip over his own words.
He tries to impress you without being too obvious. Corrects a math problem on the board with casual genius. Helps you carry your books and explains a concept like it’s NBD. Accidentally uses a ten-dollar word and blushes when you repeat it back.
You start teasing him. Just a little. “Didn’t realize you were fluent in nerd.” “You say electrons like it’s a love language.” “Should I start calling you Professor Parker?” He turns red every time. But he lives for it.
He overanalyzes every single moment. “She said my name. Was it normal-sounding? Or like Peter? Was there a lilt? Is lilt a real thing? Should I google that?”
You once gave him a compliment so casual he nearly dropped his phone. “You talk like a genius.” He stared at you for five full seconds and went, “What? Who? Me? Genius? Haha no. I mean—thank you?? Wait—”
He tries to learn what you’re into, too. Even if it’s totally different. You like photography? He reads articles. You like fashion? He watches one runway show and pretends he didn’t tear up when the music hit. You like poetry? He copies down your favorite lines and pretends he’s just “doodling.”
You once caught him rambling nervously about satellites and orbital physics and smiled just the tiniest bit. He caught it. Thought about it for the next eight hours.
He gets extra flustered when you touch his arm or laugh at something he says. “Haha yeah totally—wait what was I saying? Satellites? No, uh, I mean moons—um, moons are cool—wow okay bye!”
You know he has a crush. You’re not oblivious. But you kind of like watching him try. He’s awkward. Sweet. Weirdly charming. And when he lights up talking about something he loves? You don’t care if you understand it or not. You’re just happy it’s him.

HI JAY can i request accidentally getting armin hard?🤭 straddling him during something odm related for whatever n bro gets bricked up to the high heavens n youre both so shy n flustered BUT YALL GOTTA FUCK ATP
needa feel you

🔞 minors shoo / n.sfw / smut / 18+ content
note: ooh i love love love this !! fits armin perfectly 🤤
warnings — dirty talk, d!ck visuals, light begging, unprotected sex, creampie, creaming, prec*m, u and him being horny

you were just demonstrating to him a better hip shifting technique to go faster, and the poor boy blushed up to his ears. searing. hot. red. he started stuttering so badly he felt like he was a boy in the cadets again.
and when armin gets hard? god damn he gets hard. throbbing. hot. his juicy tip presses tight against those already tight white pants, the outline looking so good you wanna tug those pants off and take him into your mouth.
when you smile at him after noticing his hardness, he sputters apologies. " fuck, i'm sorry, haha. i-i don't know what's the matter with me, sorry. uh, sh-shit well don't move like that or you'll make it worse. "
" it's — okay. i don't mind. it's... natural, after all. " you speak slowly, nerves tingly. " wh - y... why don't we take care of it so we can get back to practicing more positions — uh, combat positions, you know. of course. "
his eyes widen, the whites showing around those pretty blue irises. you just completely flustered the poor boy.
but those eyes become lidded when the two of you end up with your bodies intertwined, sweaty and noisy and panting, fucking like two bunnies. it's all because of how you grinded your hips on his pelvis so erotically earlier.
feeling your plush thighs engulf his sides made him beg like a dog: "needa feel you, needa feel you so fucking bad please please please let's just d-do it here." he panted, kissing you like a lust-crazed teenager. as soon as you breathlessly nodded, he unfastened his belt — not bothering with taking off all his gear... that's just too much effort. so you fuck half-clothed, and it drives him wild. he's always eyed out the way the thigh belts squeeze your skin and make plush dents.
he's high on lust, head spinning. min's so dizzy from the feeling of your soft walls clenching tight around him, hugging his pretty, veined cock. you're milking out all his precum, creaming so much that a white wring forms around the base of his cock and he can feel it.
you feel and taste so sweet to him, it's too much. he has to stop thrusting every now and then just to catch his breath. and when he does that, his dumb fat tip digs into your favorite gummy spot, his length unmoving. his happy trail hair subtly grazes against your tummy as he keeps himself as close as possible to your body.
" that's so good — so good — so good so good, you feel so fucking good. s-ooo fucking good, baby ! " he pants, vocals straining and brows kneading together.
his body tenses up, muscles flexing and sweat dripping down the contours of his physique.
" don't stop, please don't you fucking stop, 'min. gonna make me cum. " you speak and shiver when he starts up those sloppy strokes again.
your head goes empty, body goes numb on pleasure; how can it feel this insanely good? min's falling apart under your influence. when he cums, he blurts out some surprising things.
like a chant of " i love you i love you i love you — i fucking love you ! " right as he fills you to the brim with his creamy release.

Accidentally in Love
Bangchan x reader!!! chan x reader!! word count: 10.1k
genre: fluff and a little bit of angst. strangers to lovers!!
Summary: You were so careless. You always caught accidents!-- but then you met chan-- accidentally, was is still because of your carelessness? then.. you should do it again.
an: i know today was our midterms week but then why i cannot help but to post TT. anyways. please read it <3
What’s an accident?
Well, an accident is when you’re crossing the street, minding your own business, and suddenly a biker flips over because you may have accidentally stepped into the bike lane without noticing. “Sorry!” you call out, but honestly, how do you apologize for something so awkward?
Or maybe an accident is when you try to send a selfie to your best friend to show off your new hair, but you mistype the number and end up sending it to your mom’s boss. Now they have a picture of your duck face saved on their phone, and your mom will never let you live it down.
Oh, and don’t forget that one time you were playing catch, and somehow the ball decided to fly out of your hand in the completely wrong direction and smack someone in the face. “Oops!” isn’t going to make that less embarrassing.
These were all accidents, but honestly, you’ve started to notice a pattern here: you’re a little careless. Scratch that—you’re very careless. So careless, in fact, that even the simplest things seem to go wrong.
And now, thanks to all these accidental mess-ups, you’ve become so self-conscious that you’re a little too shy to even attempt anything without worrying you’ll mess it up.
“Ms. Kim, I swear it was an accident!” you practically begged, standing in front of your English teacher with wide, apologetic eyes. You had no assignment to present because, well… your homework somehow ended up floating in the school fountain. It had looked so promising this morning. Until it went for a swim.
Ms. Kim raised an eyebrow, but after a long sigh, she gave you a sympathetic look. “Alright, I’ll forgive you this time. But try to be more careful.”
“Yes, Ms. Kim! I promise! Thank you, and I’m so sorry again!” You rushed back to your seat, hoping to avoid further embarrassment, but of course, your best friend Chae was waiting with a grin that told you she’d witnessed the entire thing.
“I’m never going to let you live this down, you know,” she teased, leaning over with a wicked smirk.
You rolled your eyes dramatically. “Haha, very funny.”
Chae laughed. “You know, you could’ve just copied my assignment if you’d told me earlier.”
You let out a huff. “It was supposed to be an original poem, Chae. I’m reminding you for the hundredth time!”
“Oh, right.” She waved it off with a laugh, clearly enjoying your misfortune.
The class finally ended, and you and Chae headed to the cafeteria, where the usual chaos of students trying to grab food filled the air. Trays clattered, voices overlapped, and the smell of fried food lingered as you navigated through the bustling crowd. You had your tray of food in hand, carefully balancing it as if it were the most delicate thing in the world.
“Please, not today,” you whispered to yourself, praying that for once, nothing would go wrong.
But of course, in classic "you" fashion, the universe wasn’t going to let you off that easily.
Just as you turned a corner, completely zoned out, you collided with someone walking in the opposite direction. BAM. The impact sent your tray flying. You could only watch in horror as your drink splashed all over the guy’s shirt. Food scattered everywhere, some of it landing on his shoes.
“Oh my gosh!” you shrieked, nearly dropping everything else in your hands. Napkins, where are the napkins? You grabbed a bunch from your tray, your hands trembling as you tried to wipe the stain off his uniform. “I’m so, so sorry! I didn’t mean to—I swear I wasn’t looking! Oh no, look what I did…”
The guy looked down at his soaked shirt, momentarily surprised. His hair had a few strands out of place, but despite the mess, his face softened. He didn’t seem angry at all, which only made you feel worse.
“It’s okay,” he said gently, offering you a small, reassuring smile. His voice was calm, like he was trying to stop a nervous kitten from freaking out. “Really. It was just an accident.”
But you were beyond saving at this point. Your heart was hammering, and your hands wouldn’t stop shaking as you dabbed at his shirt, which now looked worse with the blotchy wet patches.
“No, no! This is my fault. I’m so sorry! I’ll fix it, I promise. I’ll wash it for you! Let me make it right!” Your voice came out in a frantic rush as you looked up at him, your eyes wide and pleading.
The guy chuckled softly, shaking his head. “You don’t have to do that. I have an extra shirt in my locker.”
“But it’s my fault!” you insisted, still dabbing uselessly at his uniform. Your eyes welled up with frustration—how could you be so careless? Again?! This was just like all the other times where accidents seemed to follow you, and this time it wasn’t just a ruined poem or a floating homework assignment. You had ruined someone’s day.
He noticed your teary eyes and sighed, his smile turning a little softer. “Look, I promise, it’s fine. I can handle a little spill.”
But your guilt wouldn’t let you accept that. “No! I—I can’t let it go like this. You don’t understand! I’ll feel terrible all day.” Without waiting for him to protest further, you grabbed his arm and gently tugged him in the direction of the nearest comfort room. “Please, let me fix this.”
His eyes widened in surprise at how determined you were. “Wait, what? Where are we going?”
“To fix your shirt!” you declared, leading him away as if it was a life-or-death mission. You handed him your jacket to cover the stain, holding it up like a shield in front of him. “You can’t walk around like this! It’s—ugh, I feel so bad. What’s your locker number?”
He laughed at how serious you were. “Arts department. But really, this is too much.”
Your head whipped around to look at him. “Arts department? No way! Mine too!” Your eyes widened in realization.
How had you never noticed him before? How could someone like him, with that gentle smile and calm voice, be so… handsome? You couldn’t stop staring at him, and suddenly, you felt even more flustered.
When you reached his locker, he pulled out a clean shirt. “See? I’m all set now. You can go back and eat,” he said, trying to brush it off, but you were having none of it.
“Absolutely not!” you said, crossing your arms in defiance. “I’m not leaving until I make sure everything is fixed.”
He let out another laugh, shaking his head at your stubbornness. “You’re really not going to let this go, huh?”
“Nope,” you replied firmly, standing your ground. He seemed amused by your persistence, but also a little impressed.
As you walked toward the comfort room, he glanced at you. “You know you left your food behind, right?”
“It’s fine,” you muttered, though your stomach betrayed you by grumbling at that exact moment. You cringed, cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
He chuckled, his voice light and teasing. “Sounds like your stomach disagrees.”
You couldn’t help but smile a little despite your guilt. His laughter was contagious, and even though you were still panicking inside, something about his calmness was starting to settle your nerves.
By the time you reached the comfort room, you had relaxed enough to have a normal conversation. “Why are you so calm about this?” you asked as he went inside to change. “If someone did this to me, I’d be freaking out.”
“I’ve had worse accidents happen,” he called from inside, his voice echoing slightly. “This is nothing.”
You paced outside, tapping your foot nervously. Worse accidents? What could possibly be worse than having your entire lunch dumped on you? You shook your head, trying to calm yourself down.
When he finally came out, you froze. Time seemed to slow down as he ran a hand through his wet hair, his clean shirt clinging to his frame. The droplets of water sliding down his neck caught the light, making him look… well, really good. Your heart skipped a beat, and before you knew it, it was racing like it was trying to tell you something you weren’t quite ready to hear.
“See? All fixed,” he said, flashing that same comforting smile.
You nodded, but your thoughts were far from calm. Why is my heart doing this? It was as if everything about this moment was trying to make you notice something you’d never felt before. Something fluttery and confusing, but undeniably there.
You got quiet for a moment, staring up at him, completely lost in thought. His wet hair, the way his shirt clung to him, that easy smile—it was like everything else around you blurred, and for just a second, you forgot where you were.
“Hello? Earth to you?” he teased, snapping his fingers in front of your face.
You blinked, snapping out of your daze. “Oh! Uh, right, yes. It’s done,” you mumbled awkwardly, stepping back and fumbling with the sleeves of your jacket. Your face felt like it was on fire, and you wished you could disappear right then and there.
He laughed, a soft, easy sound that made your heart skip a beat again. “You sure? You look a little lost.”
“No, no! I’m totally fine!” you said, waving your hands in front of you. “I can go now.”
Before you could make your great escape, he stepped closer, extending his hand toward you with that same amused smile.
“I’m Chan, by the way,” he said, his hand hanging in the air between you two.
For a moment, you just stared at his outstretched hand, your brain working overtime to process what was happening. Chan. His name is Chan. You reached out slowly, feeling the warmth of his hand as your fingers met his.
Your voice barely came out, still a little shaken from the chaos of the last few minutes. “I—I’m…”
He raised an eyebrow, waiting patiently.
“I’m… just really sorry again,” you blurted out, completely missing the introduction moment, but he only laughed more, shaking your hand.
“Nice to meet you, really sorry,” he joked, his smile growing wider.
You felt your cheeks heat up even more. “No, no! I mean, I’m—” You cleared your throat, trying to gather your thoughts. “I’m y/n.”
His eyes sparkled with amusement. “Well, y/n , it’s nice to meet you too. Even under… interesting circumstances.”
You couldn’t help but let out a small laugh, the tension starting to lift. “Yeah… sorry about the whole… you know.”
He waved it off like it was nothing. “Trust me, this is one of the more entertaining things that’s happened to me this week.”
You smiled, feeling a little more at ease. He was so easygoing, so calm, and it made the situation feel less like a disaster and more like a… funny mishap. You let out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding, feeling the weight of your guilt finally easing up.
But as you looked at him again, standing there, smiling at you like this was the most natural thing in the world, that flutter in your chest returned. Why am I still nervous?
“Hey,” Chan said, breaking your train of thought. “If it makes you feel better, I’m glad we bumped into each other.” He winked playfully, and before you could respond, he added, “I mean, now I know there’s someone who cares enough to make sure my shirt’s spotless.”
You bit your lip, trying not to smile too widely. “Yeah, well… I couldn’t just leave you like that.”
Chan grinned, giving you a quick nod. “I appreciate it. Anyway, I’ll see you around, y/n.”
And just like that, he turned to leave, but something inside you wanted to stop him. You stood there for a moment, watching as he walked away, your mind still reeling from everything that had just happened.
What just happened? You thought as you absently touched your hand where his had been moments ago.
Days passed, and you went back to your usual routine as the good student you were—well, the good student who occasionally made accidents. You submitted your assignments on time, participated in class, and did everything as you should. But no matter how busy you were, there was always a lingering thought in the back of your mind. A name that kept coming back to you: Chan.
After that incident in the cafeteria, you hadn’t seen him again. It was as if he’d vanished into thin air, leaving you with nothing but the memory of his laugh and that smile. You weren’t sure why you kept thinking about him. It wasn’t like anything major had happened, right? Just an accident. And yet…
“Your drawing is really nice,” Jeongin’s voice snapped you back to reality. He leaned over, studying your work on the easel with an approving nod.
You blinked, looking at your painting. It was your class in the arts department, and you’d been lost in thought, working quietly. But now that you looked at what you’d painted, your eyes widened.
It was a man. A man with soft features, standing against a background of delicate flowers. The detail in his face, the way his eyes seemed to hold a quiet kindness… it hit you like a ton of bricks. Chan. You painted Chan.
“What—” you muttered, staring in disbelief. “Did I just…?”
You turned to Jeongin, who was giving you a confused look. “What’s wrong? Did you paint that by accident or something?” he teased, not realizing how spot on he was.
Your face flushed. “I—uh—no, it’s just…”
“Come on, it looks really good,” Jeongin said with a grin. “You should be proud of it.”
You laughed nervously. How did I not realize I was painting him? You thought, staring at the canvas. The flowers around him gave the whole thing an almost dreamlike quality, and the expression on his face was so familiar it made your stomach flip. What is wrong with me?
Before you could process it, the teacher walked around the room, acknowledging everyone’s work. “Alright, class, it’s time for everyone to explain their paintings,” she announced, clapping her hands to gather everyone’s attention.
Oh no. You glanced at your painting again, heart racing. How were you going to explain this?
As each student took their turn, you grew more and more anxious. And when it was finally your turn, you stood in front of the class, staring at the painting as if it might offer you some kind of excuse for what you’d done.
“So,” the teacher prompted, “tell us about your work.”
You swallowed hard, gripping your hands together. “Uh, well… this is a… um…” You stuttered, completely lost for words. What do I say?!
Jeongin, sitting in the back, raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by your nervousness.
“I—uh, I painted a man,” you started lamely, feeling the heat rising in your cheeks. “With, um… flowers.” Great. Very insightful.
The class waited, but you had no idea how to continue. “The flowers are, um… a representation of…” Oh no, why did I paint flowers? You stared at them, desperately trying to come up with something meaningful to say.
“…of how fragile and… fleeting moments can be?” you mumbled, hoping it sounded deep. You heard a few murmurs of approval from your classmates, and you exhaled in relief. Okay, not bad so far.
“And the man?” the teacher asked, her head tilted as she studied your work.
You froze. The man. Oh no.
“I, uh, I didn’t really plan on… painting him. He just… kind of happened?” You winced at your own explanation. The teacher raised an eyebrow, but thankfully, she didn’t press further.
“Well,” she said after a pause, “it’s beautifully done. Accidental or not, you’ve captured a lot of emotion here.”
You nodded stiffly, trying to suppress the rising panic inside you. Emotion? I didn’t even realize I was painting Chan!
As you sat back down, Jeongin leaned over with a smirk. “So… did the flowers represent how ‘fleeting’ your accidental crush is?” he teased, wiggling his eyebrows at you.
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “I don’t have a crush!”
“Uh-huh. Sure,” he said with a knowing grin. “You keep telling yourself that.”
One day, as you were walking down the hallway, your arms full of books and your mind racing, you couldn’t stop mumbling to yourself. The upcoming oral examination was consuming your thoughts, and you found yourself counting the names of famous artists on your fingers, trying to memorize them.
“Okay, Picasso… Monet… Van Gogh… oh, and Da Vinci…” you muttered, completely focused on your mental checklist.
Just as you rounded a corner, you collided with someone. Your books flew out of your hands, scattering across the floor with a loud thud. “Oh no! I’m so sorry!” you blurted out, dropping to your knees to gather your belongings.
“Hey, it’s fine!” a familiar voice replied. You glanced up, and your heart skipped a beat. It was Chan.
“We meet again,” he said, a playful smile lighting up his face as he helped you collect your scattered books.
“Wow, what are the odds?” you replied, still a bit in shock. “It seems we have a knack for bumping into each other… literally.” You couldn’t help but laugh, a bit embarrassed by the situation.
He chuckled, his laughter warm and inviting. “Yeah, at this rate, we might as well call it fate,” he joked, handing you the last of your books.
You stood up, brushing off your pants and trying to regain your composure. “This time, I was so focused on artists that I completely forgot to look where I was going,” you admitted, a sheepish grin on your face. “What about you? Are you just wandering the hallways, waiting for your next accidental encounter?”
Chan raised an eyebrow, pretending to think. “Maybe I’m just here to collect the most interesting stories,” he replied, a teasing glint in his eyes. “And you, my friend, seem to be a goldmine.”
You felt a rush of warmth at his words, a playful banter sparking between you. “Well, if that’s the case, I should probably start charging you for my accidental stories,” you shot back, enjoying the lightness of the moment.
“I’m all for it,” he said, crossing his arms and leaning slightly against the wall, making himself comfortable. “So, what else do you have planned for today, besides running into me?”
You hesitated, your nerves creeping back as you remembered your oral exam. “Just… trying to survive this exam,” you admitted, biting your lip. “I have to present on famous artists, and I keep mixing up their names.”
Chan’s expression softened, and he nodded in understanding. “You’ll be great, I’m sure. If you want, I can help you practice later. I mean, I have some free time in the arts department.”
Your heart skipped a beat. Did he just offer to help me? “Really? That would be amazing! I could definitely use some backup,” you replied, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.
“Perfect! Just let me know when you’re ready,” he said, flashing that signature smile that made your heart race. “And try not to bump into anyone else on your way to the exam, okay?”
You laughed again, feeling lighter than you had all day. “No promises! I might have a talent for accidents.”
With a final wave, he turned to leave, and you couldn’t shake the feeling that this encounter was different—something more than just another accident. Your thoughts raced as you watched him walk away, the hallway buzzing with energy. You had a lot to prepare for, but suddenly, the day felt a little brighter.
As the days passed, you found yourself wishing for those unexpected encounters with Chan every time you walked through the hallways. Maybe if I just keep my eyes peeled… But it seemed like the universe had a sense of humor; you only ever bumped into him when you least expected it—just like the last time.
Today, you were on a mission. You needed a specific art book for your upcoming project, and, of course, it was stored on the highest shelf in the library. Determined to get your hands on it, you made your way to the stairs, your heart racing with the hope that maybe, just maybe, you’d see him again.
You climbed the stairs, reaching for the book that was tantalizingly out of reach. Just as you stretched your arm up, your foot slipped slightly on the step, and in a split second, you stumbled backward, teetering precariously.
“Whoa!” a familiar voice called out, and before you could process it, Chan was right there, steadying you with a firm grip on your arm. “Careful there! Looks like you’re trying to give gravity a run for its money.”
You blinked in surprise, your heart pounding—not just from the near mishap but from his unexpected presence. “Chan! I didn’t see you there!” you exclaimed, feeling your cheeks heat up.
“Clearly,” he replied, his lips curving into that teasing smile that always made your heart skip. “What’s the goal here? Trying to become a librarian superhero?”
You laughed, shaking your head. “No, I was just trying to get this book.” You gestured to the high shelf, and he raised an eyebrow, amusement dancing in his eyes.
“Do you need a hand?” he offered, glancing up at the shelf. “I’m pretty sure I can reach that without turning it into a circus act.”
You nodded, grateful for his help. “That would be amazing! I think I’d break the library record for most accidents in one visit if I tried again.”
As he stepped closer to the shelf, you couldn’t help but admire the way he moved with ease. He reached up, effortlessly grabbing the book and handing it to you. “Here you go, the hero of the day.”
You took the book from him, your fingers brushing against his for just a moment. “Thank you! You’ve saved my day.”
He shrugged, playfully nonchalant. “Just doing my part to help a fellow artist avoid disaster.” There was a pause, and you both shared a laugh, the air between you crackling with an easy connection.
“So, what’s this one about?” he asked, glancing at the cover.
“It’s about different art movements throughout history,” you said, opening the book to show him some of the illustrations. “I thought it would help with my project, but I got sidetracked with all the high shelves.”
“Maybe we should have a study session later,” he suggested, leaning casually against the shelf, making it seem like the most natural thing in the world. “I can help you brainstorm some ideas, and we can avoid any more… accidents.”
You felt a flutter of excitement in your chest. “That sounds great! I’d love the company.”
“Perfect! Just let me know when you’re free,” he replied, flashing that charming smile again. “And try not to climb any more shelves in the meantime.”
As you watched him leave, you couldn’t help but smile to yourself. Each accidental encounter felt like a step closer to something more, and you found yourself wishing that every day could be filled with these little moments.
You were placing your things in your locker one day when you noticed him—Chan—just a few lockers down. Your heart fluttered at the sight of him, and you couldn’t help but smile as you organized your books.
This time, it felt different. You weren’t colliding into him by chance; you were actually seeing him on purpose. “Hi!” you greeted, your voice brighter than you intended.
“Hello,” he replied, his eyes lighting up at the sight of you.
You hesitated for a moment, a thousand thoughts racing through your mind. Finally, you took a breath and said, “Do you have time today? I’m going to brainstorm some ideas for my project at a café.”
He paused, considering it for a moment. “I have lots of time,” he said, a grin spreading across his face. “What café are you thinking of?”
You felt a rush of excitement at his eagerness. “There’s that little one down the street, the one with the comfy chairs and those amazing pastries,” you said, your enthusiasm bubbling over. “I could really use a fresh perspective.”
“Sounds perfect. I’m in,” he said, closing his locker and leaning against it casually. “When do you want to head over?”
“Right now?” you suggested, feeling a little nervous but also thrilled at the idea of spending more time with him. “I have my books, and I could really use some caffeine to kickstart my creativity.”
“Let’s do it!” he replied, his enthusiasm contagious. He gestured for you to lead the way, and as you walked side by side down the hallway, you couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness.
As you exited the school, the warm sunlight enveloped you, and the hustle and bustle of the outside world filled your ears. You glanced at Chan, who walked with an easy confidence. “So, what do you want to brainstorm about?” he asked, looking over at you with genuine interest.
“Well, I’m thinking about how to blend different art movements for my project. I want to create something that reflects both modern and classical styles,” you explained, your thoughts starting to flow.
“I love that idea!” he said, nodding enthusiastically. “You could play with color palettes and textures from different eras. That could really bring your piece to life.”
As you talked, you found yourself more at ease with each passing moment. The café came into view, and you felt a rush of anticipation. “Here it is! I hope they still have those pastries,” you said, glancing up at the sign.
“Oh, they do. Trust me, I’ve been here enough to know their secret menu,” he said with a mischievous grin. “You’re in for a treat.”
Once inside, you ordered your drinks and pastries, and found a cozy table by the window. The atmosphere buzzed with the sound of chatter and clinking cups, adding to the warmth of the moment.
You both settled in, and as you opened your notebook to jot down ideas, you felt a thrill of inspiration rush through you. “Okay, let’s brainstorm!” you said, eager to dive into your project with Chan by your side.
His presence made everything feel easier, and as you exchanged ideas, laughter, and stories, you couldn’t shake the feeling that this was the start of something wonderful—something that wasn’t just an accident.
Ever since that day, meeting Chan had become the most exciting part of your routine. Each moment spent with him made your heart race, and the days felt brighter.
“Thank you so much! My project received a nice grade,” you said, your eyes sparkling with gratitude.
“You deserve it,” Chan replied, his smile warm and encouraging. “Your hard work really paid off.”
Feeling a rush of happiness, you mustered the courage to ask, “Are you free today? I want to treat you to something nice to say thanks.”
Chan tilted his head, considering. “I have something to do, but who would let a free meal pass by?” He chuckled, a glint of mischief in his eyes.
“Perfect! Let’s go to that new restaurant that just opened downtown. I’ve heard they have amazing food,” you suggested, unable to contain your excitement.
“Lead the way!” he said, his enthusiasm matching yours.
As you made your way to the restaurant, the atmosphere buzzed with energy. The sun was shining brightly, and the warm breeze wrapped around you, making everything feel perfect.
Once you arrived, the tantalizing aroma of delicious dishes greeted you at the door. You both stepped inside, and after being seated at a cozy table, you glanced over the menu.
“Everything looks so good! I don’t even know where to start,” you said, biting your lip in indecision.
“Let’s order a bunch of things to share. It’s more fun that way!” Chan suggested, his eyes twinkling with excitement.
You both decided on a variety of dishes, and as you waited for the food, the conversation flowed effortlessly. You talked about everything—your favorite movies, music, and even your childhood dreams.
“I wanted to be an astronaut for the longest time,” Chan admitted with a laugh. “But then I realized I get dizzy just from spinning around in circles. So much for that dream!”
You laughed, picturing him in a space suit, and then replied, “At least you’re realistic! I wanted to be an artist, but then I discovered I’m more of a ‘creative disaster’ than anything else.”
“Hey, you’re an amazing artist! Look at that project of yours,” he said, gesturing to your notebook resting on the table. “It shows how creative you really are.”
You felt your cheeks warm at his compliment. “Thanks, Chan. That means a lot coming from you.”
Just then, the server arrived with a feast of colorful dishes, and the two of you dove in, sharing bites and savoring each flavor. Laughter filled the air as you both shared stories and friendly banter, each moment deepening your connection.
“This is the best meal I’ve had in ages,” you said between bites, a satisfied grin on your face.
“I’m glad you’re enjoying it! I have to admit, I was a little worried you wouldn’t want to hang out with me again after our first ‘accidental’ meeting,” Chan said, a teasing tone in his voice.
“Are you kidding? Those accidents turned out to be the best thing that’s happened to me!” you replied, your heart racing at the thought of how lucky you felt.
As you continued to eat, you realized that these moments with Chan were becoming something you looked forward to every day. The laughter, the food, and the warmth of his presence made you feel alive. And you couldn’t help but wonder where this unexpected journey with him might lead.
One day, as you were walking down the hallway, your heart raced at the thought of bumping into Chan again—not literally bumping, of course. You kept glancing around the corners, hoping to catch a glimpse of him, and your smile widened when you finally spotted him at the end of the hall.
He was really handsome, and the way he brushed his hair back only added to his charm. Without thinking, you picked up your pace, practically running to him.
“Hi!” you exclaimed, trying to catch your breath.
“Hey there!” Chan replied, his face lighting up at your enthusiasm.
“What are you up to?” you asked, trying to sound casual even though you were bursting with excitement at seeing him again.
“I’m working on a project for my photography class,” he explained, adjusting the camera strap slung over his shoulder. “Just trying to find some inspiration.”
“Do you need help?” you offered, eager to spend more time with him.
“Yeah, that would be awesome! Thank you!” he said, visibly relieved.
You both decided to head to the nearest park, where Chan could take pictures of the vibrant scenery. As you arrived, the sun peeked through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the ground. The air was fresh and filled with the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves.
You watched as he captured shots of the flowers blooming, the trees swaying in the gentle breeze, and the ducks swimming lazily in the pond. Every now and then, you noticed his brows furrowing in concentration as he reviewed the images.
“Are you happy with those?” you asked, stepping closer to him.
“Not quite,” he admitted, letting out a sigh. “It just feels like something is missing.”
“Maybe try capturing something more candid,” you suggested, trying to help. “Like when someone is laughing or playing in the park. Those moments can tell a story.”
Chan looked at you with a spark of inspiration in his eyes. “That’s a great idea! Let’s wait for some people to come by and see what happens.”
As you both waited, you continued to chat and joke around, enjoying each other’s company. Finally, a group of children ran past, laughing and chasing each other. Chan’s camera clicked rapidly as he captured their joyful energy.
“See? That’s the kind of moment I was talking about!” you said, beaming at him.
“I see it now! Thank you for your help!” Chan said, his eyes shining with excitement. “You really have a good eye for this.”
You felt a warm rush of pride at his compliment, and as you watched him work, you couldn’t help but admire how passionate he was about photography.
After taking several more pictures, Chan turned to you, a grin spreading across his face. “Let’s get a picture of us together! It’ll be a fun memory.”
“Oh, I don’t know…” you said, feeling a mix of excitement and shyness.
“Come on! It’ll be great. Plus, I need to document our collaboration,” he insisted, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
You relented, and he set the timer on his camera before rushing back to stand beside you. As the camera clicked, you both laughed, and you felt a warmth in your heart that made you forget your nerves.
“Perfect!” Chan said, reviewing the picture. “We look awesome together.”
You felt your cheeks flush at the compliment, and for a moment, everything around you faded away, leaving just the two of you and the budding connection that was blossoming. You couldn’t shake the feeling that this day was just another beautiful accident that led you closer to Chan.
It was midterms day, and the library buzzed with the nervous energy of students cramming for their exams. You sat at a table piled high with notes, textbooks, and a half-empty coffee cup, trying to absorb as much information as possible.
Suddenly, you felt a presence beside you. You looked up to see Chan sliding into the chair next to yours, his backpack slung over one shoulder. “Hey, ready for this?” he asked, a playful glint in his eyes.
“Not even close,” you admitted, running a hand through your hair in frustration. “I’m still trying to wrap my head around all this material.”
“Need a study buddy?” he offered, pulling out his own notes. “I could use a break from memorizing everything too. We can help each other out!”
“Sure, that sounds great!” you replied, relieved to have his company.
As the two of you delved into your notes, discussing concepts and quizzing each other, the atmosphere shifted from one of stress to camaraderie. With every question Chan asked, your confidence grew, and soon you found yourself explaining things more clearly.
“Wow, you really know your stuff!” Chan remarked, his expression genuinely impressed.
You felt a blush creeping up your cheeks at the compliment. “Thanks! I guess all the late nights are finally paying off,” you said, trying to play it cool.
After a couple of hours of intense studying, you both took a break, stretching and grabbing a quick snack from the café. As you were chatting and laughing, a group of your friends passed by and stopped to gawk at the scene.
“Hey, what’s going on here?” one of your friends asked, raising an eyebrow. “Are you two… studying together?”
“Yeah, just helping each other out,” you said, trying to sound casual, but your heart raced at their teasing tone.
Your friend nudged you playfully. “Helping each other out? Is that all?” They smirked knowingly.
“Uh, he’s just a friend,” you stammered, suddenly unsure of how to explain your connection to Chan. The truth was, he felt like more than just a friend, but you didn’t know how to articulate that.
“Sure, a friend,” your friend teased, winking at you. “It looks like there’s something more going on!”
Chan chuckled, clearly amused by the situation, and you felt a rush of embarrassment at the attention. “We really are just studying,” he assured them, his tone light and playful.
“Okay, okay,” your friend said, holding up their hands in mock surrender. “We’ll let you two get back to it. But don’t forget to let us know when you finally admit it!”
As they walked away, you couldn’t help but glance at Chan, who was still smiling at the exchange. “Sorry about that,” you said, feeling a mix of embarrassment and nervousness. “I didn’t mean to make it seem like… well, you know.”
Chan shook his head, still grinning. “Don’t worry about it. I mean, it is nice to spend time with you. We make a good team.”
You felt a warmth spread through your chest at his words. “Yeah, we really do,” you agreed, a soft smile creeping onto your face.
As you settled back into your study session, the moment hung in the air between you—a promise of something more than just friendship, waiting to be explored.
The midterms had drained you completely. The lack of sleep and the stress from weeks of studying had finally taken their toll. You promised yourself that after the last exam, you would treat yourself to a good night’s sleep and a juicy steak—something to celebrate the end of your academic agony.
When the final exam wrapped up, a rush of exhilaration surged through you. You couldn’t help but throw your papers into the air, your laughter mingling with that of your friends. It was a celebration—freedom at last!
“Who’s ready to party?” one of your friends shouted, and the group erupted into cheers.
“I’m calling Chan!” you exclaimed, feeling a burst of happiness. You pulled out your phone, dialing his number, but after a few rings, it went to voicemail. You frowned, thinking he must be busy with his own post-exam plans. Shrugging it off, you put your phone away and joined your friends, who were already dancing to the music blasting from the speakers.
That night, you found yourself at the nearest bar, the energy around you vibrant and electric. You ordered a drink, savoring the coolness as it slid down your throat, and soon the dance floor called to you. You let loose, dancing and laughing, feeling all the stress melt away with each beat of the music.
After a few drinks, you felt invincible. You spun around, arms wide open, embracing the joy of the moment. That was when you noticed him.
Not too far away, standing at the bar with a drink in hand, was Chan. He looked relaxed in a casual outfit, chatting and laughing with a couple of friends. Your heart skipped a beat. It was the first time you’d seen him for first day of midterms, and somehow, he looked even more handsome in the dim light of the bar.
You felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Should you approach him? The thought made your stomach flutter. But as you watched him, you noticed he hadn’t seen you yet.
Deciding to make your move, you grabbed your drink and wove your way through the crowd, the music thumping in your ears. When you finally reached him, he turned, and his eyes lit up with surprise.
“Hey! Fancy seeing you here!” Chan exclaimed, his smile wide and genuine.
“Hey! I just finished my exams, so I thought I’d celebrate,” you said, trying to keep your tone light despite the fluttering in your chest. “What about you?”
“Same here! I needed a break after all that studying,” he replied, leaning slightly closer, making it easier to hear each other over the music. “Looks like you’re having a good time.”
“I am! I thought I’d treat myself, you know?” You took a sip of your drink, feeling a bit more confident. “How about you? Are you enjoying your night?”
“Definitely! It’s nice to unwind,” he said, glancing around the bar. “You should come join us. We’re about to play some pool.”
You felt a surge of excitement at the invitation. “Sounds fun! Let’s go!”
As you walked toward the pool table together, the noise of the bar faded away, leaving just the two of you in your own little bubble. Your heart raced at the thought of spending time with him, and you couldn’t shake the feeling that this night might be the beginning of something special.
Chan led you to the pool table, where a group of his friends was gathered. The atmosphere was lively, laughter and playful banter filling the air.
“This is Han,” he said, pointing to a tall guy with a warm smile. “He’s the best pool player here—don’t let him fool you with that innocent face.”
Han grinned, nudging Chan playfully. “Yeah, right. You’re just scared I’ll beat you again!”
“And this,” Chan continued, gesturing to a guy who was sprawled over the table, “is Seungmin. Don’t mind him; he’s just being dramatic.”
Seungmin lifted his head slightly, a smirk on his face. “Hey! I’m just conserving my energy for my inevitable victory,” he quipped before flopping back down, causing everyone to chuckle.
“..over there is Yuni,” Chan said, nodding toward a girl with vibrant hair and an infectious smile who was chatting animatedly with another friend. However, as she caught sight of you standing next to Chan, her expression shifted slightly. There was something in her gaze, a hint of judgment that made you feel self-conscious, as if she was silently questioning why you were with him.
You smiled at the lively introductions, trying to shake off the unease. “It’s great to meet you all! Chan’s been telling me a bit about you,” you said, glancing at Chan, who was trying to look innocent.
“Only good things, right?” Chan interjected with a playful grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Of course!” you laughed, enjoying the banter, but you couldn’t shake off Yuni’s penetrating look.
“So, what’s the plan?” Han asked, leaning against the table. “Are we playing a round of pool, or is it too easy for you guys?”
Chan glanced at you, raising an eyebrow. “How about a little wager? Loser buys the next round of drinks.”
“Deal!” you replied, excitement bubbling up inside you, determined to prove yourself. “But I’m going to win.”
Seungmin raised his head just enough to give you a mock salute. “Good luck with that!”
As Chan set up the game, you could feel Yuni’s eyes on you, scrutinizing your every move. It made you slightly anxious, but you tried to focus on the game instead. The atmosphere felt more relaxed among Chan's friends, and it made you feel like you were part of something special. Chan’s presence was comforting, and you found yourself stealing glances at him, your heart racing every time your eyes met.
“Alright, let’s see what you’ve got!” Chan challenged, holding the cue stick with a confident grin. You couldn’t help but smile back, ready to take on the challenge, even if Yuni’s judgment lingered at the back of your mind.
The game began, and you focused intently on the table. Chan broke first, sending the balls scattering across the green felt. His movements were fluid and confident, and you admired the way he handled the cue stick.
“Nice shot!” Han cheered, clapping him on the back as the solid balls spread across the table. Chan beamed, clearly enjoying the attention.
“Your turn,” Chan said, stepping aside and motioning for you to take your shot. You felt a rush of excitement mixed with nerves as you approached the table, trying to shake off Yuni's scrutinizing gaze.
You lined up your shot, taking a deep breath to steady your nerves. “Here goes nothing,” you mumbled to yourself. With a swift motion, you struck the cue ball, watching it collide with the colored balls. You sunk a solid, and a rush of exhilaration washed over you.
“Wow, not bad!” Chan said, genuine admiration in his voice.
“You’re going to have to do better than that!” you replied playfully, trying to channel the confidence you felt.
As the game continued, laughter and friendly banter filled the air. You found yourself lost in the moment, enjoying the thrill of competition and the company of Chan and his friends. You occasionally caught Yuni’s gaze again, but this time, you shrugged it off.
You and Chan worked well together, each of you strategizing and laughing through the ups and downs of the game. “I think we make a pretty good team,” Chan said, grinning at you after you executed a tricky shot.
“Team? I thought we were opponents!” you teased back, leaning on the table with a playful smile.
“Fine, but I’m going to crush you next round,” he shot back, feigning a fierce glare.
The game was intense, with each of you sinking balls and trying to outsmart the other. After a particularly close shot where you barely missed sinking the eight ball, you groaned dramatically, drawing laughter from the group.
“Come on, you can do better than that!” Seungmin teased, lifting his head for a moment to join in the laughter.
“Hey, I’m still getting used to the pressure of having such talented players around me!” you shot back, winking at him.
Eventually, the game came down to the last ball, and the tension in the air was palpable. You took a moment to breathe, steadying your hands as you lined up your shot.
“Just focus,” Chan whispered, stepping close enough that you could feel his warmth. “You got this.”
You nodded, feeling a rush of determination. As you took your shot, the cue ball sailed smoothly into the eight ball, sending it into the pocket with a satisfying clack. Cheers erupted from your friends, and you jumped up in excitement, unable to contain your joy.
“Did I just win?” you exclaimed, wide-eyed with disbelief.
“Looks like it!” Han said, clapping you on the back. “Great job!”
Yuni, however, crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, still watching you closely. You tried not to let her expression dampen your mood. “So, who’s buying the next round?” you asked, turning your attention back to the group, hoping to shift the atmosphere.
“Loser buys,” Chan declared, pretending to pout. “But I guess that means I owe you one!”
“Don’t worry, I’ll let you treat me later,” you said with a teasing grin.
As the group moved toward the karaoke area, you felt an electric energy between you and Chan. With each passing moment, you were more grateful for the accidental encounters that had brought you to this point. Who knew a series of mishaps would lead to a night full of laughter, friendship, and possibly something more?
And even if Yuni still looked at you like a puzzle she needed to solve, you were too busy enjoying the moment to let it bother you. After all, you were finally having fun, and it felt good.
As the night deepened, the lively chatter and laughter of the group created a warm atmosphere. You found a cozy seat at the edge of the karaoke stage, sipping on your drink and watching Chan as he jokingly sang off-key. Everything felt perfect until you noticed Yuni making her way toward you, her expression a mix of confidence and something more sinister.
Her confident stride and sharp smile cutting through the laughter and music. She leaned closer, her voice low and dripping with a condescending sweetness. “Hey there, just wanted to have a little chat.”
“Sure,” you said cautiously, bracing yourself for whatever she had to say.
“Listen,” she said, crossing her arms, “Chan is mine. You need to back off. He’s not interested in you.” Her tone had that classic mean girl edge, and your heart raced as you absorbed her words.
“No,” you replied firmly, trying to match her intensity. “I like Chan, and I think he likes me too. I’m not going to just walk away because you say so.”
Her laughter was sharp, almost mocking. “Oh, really? You think he’s into you? That’s adorable.” She leaned in, her eyes narrowing slightly. “Let me show you some proof.”
Before you could respond, Yuni stood up, her heels clicking against the floor as she strode confidently towards Chan. You felt your heart drop, your gut twisting in anticipation and dread. The entire bar seemed to fade into the background as you watched her approach him.
She whispered something in his ear, and for a moment, Chan turned to look at you, confusion crossing his features. Then, without any hesitation, Yuni leaned in and kissed him. The moment felt like a punch to the gut, and time seemed to freeze as you watched Chan’s reaction.
He didn’t push her away.
That was your sign. Your breath caught in your throat, a mixture of disbelief and disappointment washing over you. You stood up abruptly, the weight of the moment crashing down on you. You couldn’t bear to watch anymore.
Ignoring the sounds of laughter and music, you turned and made your way toward the exit, the laughter of your friends fading behind you. Each step felt heavier as the reality settled in. You thought you had something special with Chan, but seeing him with Yuni shattered that illusion in an instant.
You stepped out into the cool night air, taking a deep breath to calm the storm brewing inside you. You needed to collect your thoughts. This wasn’t the end, you reminded yourself. It was a moment, not a conclusion. You wouldn’t let Yuni or this situation define how you felt about Chan or yourself.
As you walked away from the bar, your resolve strengthened. You would figure this out—whatever it took.
You stumbled out of the bar, the cool night air hitting your flushed cheeks like a splash of reality. Once outside, you leaned against the cool brick wall, the laughter and music fading into the background as the tears you’d been holding back spilled over.
You cried silently, each sob echoing the turmoil inside you. You knew it; deep down, you had always known. All those moments—each little accident that had brought you to Chan—had turned out to be just that: accidents. The awkward encounters, the clumsy run-ins, the way you had been drawn together—it was all a series of mishaps that had somehow made you believe there was something more.
Meeting Chan had felt like fate at first, like a spark that ignited something inside you. But now, standing alone in the dark, you couldn’t shake the feeling that it had all been a fluke, a twist of the universe that had no real purpose.
“An accident is an accident,” you murmured through your tears, repeating the words like a mantra. Every encounter had been a result of your own clumsiness, your carelessness leading you into a whirlwind of emotions you weren’t prepared to handle.
You thought about how carefree you had felt with him, the way he made you laugh and the comfort of his presence. But now, that joy felt tainted, overshadowed by the image of him kissing Yuni, the girl who had made it clear she wanted him. It felt like a cruel joke, and you were the punchline.
As the tears flowed, you took deep breaths, trying to calm the storm inside. It was time to let go of the fantasy you had built around Chan, to accept that maybe what you felt wasn’t meant to be.
Wiping your eyes, you stood up straighter, determined not to let this moment define you. It hurt, but you wouldn’t let it break you. “You deserve better,” you whispered to yourself.
With one last deep breath, you turned away from the bar and started to walk. It was time to reclaim your night, even if it meant facing the reality of the situation head-on. No more accidents; you needed to be more careful, not just with your surroundings but with your heart.
As you walked home, you made a promise to yourself. You would move on, even if it took time. You would find a way to let go of the ‘what-ifs’ and embrace whatever came next, accidents or not.
Days turned into a blur, and despite Chan's constant messages lighting up your phone, you chose to ignore them. Why would he contact you after what happened? You found yourself lost in thought as you folded clothes, the fabric slipping through your fingers. A sudden craving for coffee hit you, breaking through your distracted haze.
With a determined sigh, you made your way to the coffee shop. As you approached, doubt crept in. What if you ran into Chan? You paused, took a deep breath, and reassured yourself, If it’s meant to happen, then let it be.
Stepping inside, you felt a wave of relief wash over you when you didn’t see him. You took your sweet time, savoring the aroma of freshly brewed coffee as you glanced at the menu, letting the moment distract you.
Just as you were about to leave, you caught sight of him standing at the entrance. He looked surprised to see you, his eyes widening slightly.
“Can we talk?” he asked, stepping closer.
You hesitated for a moment before nodding, your curiosity outweighing your apprehension. You found a small table in the corner, and he sat down across from you, his demeanor shifting to one of earnestness.
He glanced down, his brow furrowed in thought. “What do you want to drink? I can get you something.”
You shook your head, a small smile tugging at your lips. “I’m okay; I already have some.”
His gaze softened as he leaned in slightly, studying your face. “Why have you been ignoring my messages?”
You let out a soft sigh, your heart racing at the vulnerability in his eyes. “I’m sorry. I was busy.”
He nodded, his expression filled with understanding. “But why did you leave the party without saying goodbye? I was looking for you.”
“I’m sorry,” you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. “I just had to go home. That’s all.”
His eyes narrowed slightly. “Yuni… she tells me everything.”
You fell silent, unsure of how to respond.
“The truth is, after that party, I’m ignoring Yuni. I’m never talking to her again.”
“Why would you do that?” you asked, concern creeping into your tone. The thought of him standing up to her made your heart flutter.
“Because she hurt you,” he said, his voice steady yet filled with emotion.
You felt a pang in your chest. I’m not hurt because of her… I’m hurt because I was careless, you thought to yourself, grappling with your conflicting emotions.
“Look, I was drunk,” he continued, his eyes filled with regret. “I only realized she kissed me after I pushed her away... and then I saw you running.”
You could see the weight of his words pressing down on him. “You don’t need to explain,” you murmured, trying to keep your composure.
“I need to explain,” he insisted, leaning forward, his intensity palpable. “I don’t want you away from me.”
“Chan…” you called softly, feeling your heart race.
“You know,” he began, his voice dropping to a whisper, “after that accident of meeting you… my life changed.”
His confession hung in the air between you, heavy with meaning. You felt your breath hitch, caught off guard by the raw honesty in his words. Your heart pounded in your chest as you processed what he was saying. Could it be true?
Chan’s words lingered in the air, his eyes searching yours for a reaction. You could feel the weight of the moment, the vulnerability in his voice pulling at your heart.
"Meeting you..." he hesitated, his gaze falling to the table for a second before lifting back to you. "It felt like one of those accidents that just... changed everything. And at first, I thought it was just that—a coincidence, a bump in the hallway. But then... it wasn’t."
You stayed silent, your pulse quickening as he continued.
"I wasn’t expecting it. To feel this way. But… I think I’ve been falling for you. Accidentally in love, if you want to call it that."
His confession took your breath away, the rawness of it catching you off guard. You tried to respond, but the words got stuck in your throat. He smiled softly at your reaction, the kind of smile that carried relief but also nervousness, as if he wasn’t sure what you’d say next.
"I know everything between us started with these random moments," Chan continued, his voice low and sincere. "But those ‘accidents’ became the best part of my day. Seeing you in the hallway, at the coffee shop… it’s like you became my favorite surprise."
You swallowed hard, the emotions swirling in your chest almost too much to bear. "Chan... I..." you started, unsure of how to put your feelings into words. The truth was, you’d felt it too—that strange sense of anticipation every time you thought you might see him, the way your heart raced whenever your paths crossed.
His hand gently reached across the table, brushing against yours, and you felt warmth spread through you. "I don’t want to lose you," he said softly. "I don’t care about the circumstances. I just want to be with you, whether it's an accident or fate."
Your heart ached at the sincerity in his voice. It wasn’t just an accident anymore. Maybe it never was. The two of you were brought together by chance, but now, it felt like something deeper.
You took a deep breath and met his gaze. "Maybe accidents aren’t so bad after all," you said with a shy smile.
His eyes lit up at your words, and a smile slowly formed on his face. "Yeah?" he asked, his tone hopeful.
"Yeah," you nodded, feeling a sense of peace settle over you. "I think I’ve been falling for you too, Chan."
He let out a soft laugh, a sound filled with both relief and joy. "I’m so glad you said that," he murmured, his hand closing around yours. "Because I really don’t want to go through another day pretending I don’t feel this way."
You squeezed his hand, a smile tugging at your lips. Maybe the best things really do happen by accident.
Chan’s hand, warm and steady, held yours like an anchor, and for the first time in days, the weight on your chest seemed to lift. What started as random, fleeting moments had turned into something real, something neither of you could deny any longer.
"Maybe," you said softly, meeting his eyes, "we were supposed to find each other like this—through all these accidents."
He smiled at that, his thumb gently brushing over your knuckles. "Then I guess I'm grateful for every one of them," he said, his voice tender. "Because they brought me to you."
The tension that had been hanging over you for so long melted away, replaced with a quiet sense of happiness. What you thought were accidents, moments of carelessness, were really the universe pushing you toward each other, piece by piece.
You realized that sometimes, the best things in life don’t come with planning or expectations. Sometimes, they come when you're not looking—an accidental meeting that turns into something much more. And now, sitting across from Chan, his hand in yours, you knew that this wasn’t just an accident anymore. It was the start of something real.
And just like that, the uncertainty faded away. You had no idea what the future held, but you didn’t need to know. Right here, right now, was enough.
Because in the end, maybe the best kind of love really is the one you stumble into, accidentally.

Huey: ...And with that last deal, I'm making more than ever! Dewey: Then you can finally pay me for my last few projects. Louie: Aaaand make a donation to help others in need? Huey, slinking away: Oh, would you look at that. I need to go handle a ... work emergency! Haha, we'll talk later...
They're around 30-40 years old. Huey is a businessman, Scrooge-like, but with (somewhat) better ethics / morals. Dewey is a scientist / inventor and still likes to pull the occasional prank, especially when he doesn't get paid. Louie is a personal trainer and part-time superhero who spends his free time reading comics.
Huey still does a full beauty routine. Dewey 100% bought another lab coat just to look smarter around his bros. Louie owns a copy of every Mantis Boy comic (and follows any newer series.)
I've got a lot of random thoughts and headcanons surrounding this (mainly comical, tbh.)

20s Challenge Masterlist | Jake Jensen Masterlist | Navigation
Missions with Jake Jensen were different from anyone else. Maybe your disposition as serious-means-business meant that Jake naturally irritated you with his playful, positive attitude. You also knew that being with Jake meant that you wouldn't have a moment of peace, knowing he spoke every thought that popped into his head.
Even if that included when you were trying to get to sleep.
"Do you think sharks get sad about their representation in the media?"
"Jensen."
"I mean, coconuts kill more people than sharks. You don-"
"Jensen." You hiss into the darkness. "Go to sleep."
It was bad enough that he'd accidentally booked a room with only one bed, but doubly so when he was talking your ear off right next to you. You couldn't escape him; and you couldn't tell if it was a blessing or curse.
"Yeah. Right. Sleep." You can hear the gentle clack of his glasses hitting the nightstand. He clears his throat. "Goodnight."
"Night."
You're wide awake. Your heart aches, you feel so bad for snapping at him. But now you're also thinking about sharks.
You sigh through your nose and let your eyes close slowly. You'll apologise in the morning. Your more-grumpy-than-usual demeanour can only be attributed to his nearness, not that he could ever know that. He was sunshine incarnate; kind smiles, positive-thinking and you weren't sure if you wanted to tell him that he made you feel warm and fuzzy. But, you needed to apologise to being extra snippy.
Eyes closed, breathing steady, mind made up; you drift asleep.
A whimper startles you from your slumber.
Jake twitches fitfully beside you for a moment before stilling and you think it must be him getting comfortable. However, just as your eyes flutter closed again, there's another whimper more pained than the last.
Jake's head tosses to and fro on the pillow across from you and it takes a few more moments for your freshly-awoken brain to register he's having a nightmare.
"No! Don't go in there! Don't-"
Another pained groan. Through the darkness you can see his face his contorted uncomfortably, brows furrowed and sweat beading over his temples.
Your heart twists in your chest. You were on a mission, you had to stay focused, get some sleep. But listening to Jake was torturous. Golden ray of sunshine Jake Jensen was having an awful nightmare, probably one related to his time in the army or special ops, and you couldn't sleep knowing you didn't at least try to bring him some comfort.
He was your partner on this mission after all and you wouldn't admit it to anyone ever, but you had a soft spot for Jake Jensen.
You turn into his side, shoving his arm upwards so you could nestle half onto his shoulder and half onto his chest. Your legs wrapped around his like vines, your right hand resting above his heart to monitor its rate (which was ridiculously fast) and let out an elongated sighed.
Jake's heart slowed, barely, so you began to whisper.
"Its okay." You say gently, feeling sleep begin to fight back against you. Jake is too warm, too cosy, for you to stay awake. "I'm here. You're okay, Jensen."
Your eyes flutter but you feel Jake's heartbeat begin to slow. His whines have stopped along with his thrashing.
"I've got you, sunshine." You sigh, squeezing him close. "I've got you."
Your hand eventually moves when you're in the throes of sleep, leading you to practically clining him like a koala bear. Which wouldn't have been so bad if you had woken up first.
"Morning." Jake yawns. "What time is it?"
"Were you cuddling me?" His sleepy face breaks into a grin. "Are you a cuddler? Is big, tough Y/N a cuddler?"
"Morning." You yawn back, getting up slowly, blinking away sleep. "I don't know."
Jake stops you with a soft tug to your arm and you peer down at him curiously, brain still waking up.
You can't move away from him fast enough, cheeks burning with heat from the very true accusation. But even without his glasses, Jake can see the redness spread across your blurry face and immediately tries to stop you from moving out of his grasp.
"Aw, you are!" He teases. "You like cuddles and snuggles and-"
"I'm going to fucking kill you Jensen." You growl, yanking your hands away and reaching over to the bedside table to grab your phone. "It's six-thirty-two. Go back to sleep."
You huff as you turn away from him, pulling covers up your shoulders, regretting ever having cuddled his nightmares away.
There's a shift under the covers and you frown slightly as you feel Jake's warm chest radiate heat against your back. You bite back a soft sigh of contentment, letting your frown deepen instead when you feel an arm drape across your waist.
"What are you doing?"
"Hmm?"
You twist your head to try and glare at Jake who yawns lazily before snuggling close.
"You're secret's safe with me. I like cuddles too." He murmurs. "Especially ones from you. You're like a good luck charm to help me sleep."
You stiffen against him but Jake doesn't seem to care, or notice, huffing a soft breath onto your neck.
"You-"
"I've got you." He mumbles into the pillow, sounding sleepier by the second. "Your sunshine's got you."

Saying you are just his celebrity crush but obviously fans knows is not true from the amounts of obvious interaction between you both on Music Award Shows as well as the vlogs. Fans would be shock cuz you both are literally opposite of each other (the sunshine x midnight duo😝). But they are all so happy you guys are together because you fit each other so well. It was just an unexpected duo.
“So who is your celebrity crush?”
“My girlfriend- I mean my crush is y/n y/l/n. Her style and personality is really cute- I’m sorry haha..”
“Oop I guess we know what’s going on right?”

Making brownies with the disaster twins!
(From: Random ROTTMNT oneshots, requested story)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Leo and Donnie were so excited!!
They had somehow managed to invite Y/n over to make brownies with them! But uh...don't ask who actually did. They'll both say that they were the ones who had succeeded in inviting them over.
Leo and Donnie waited impatiently at the lairs entrance. They were shoving each other around a lot because they both wanted to be the first thing Y/n saw when they walked in the entrance.
"Hey!- Leo, don't grab my battle shell!- You're going to break it!" "No I'm not!" "Yes you are!" No!" "Yes!" "No!" "Ye-"
"Uhh...guys...?"
Leo and Donnie turn around to see an amused looking Y/n. They appear to be holding in a laugh. Donnie and Leo's faces flush, and they quickly get back into their normal position.
"Ahem. Greetings Y/n! It is with great pleasure we welcome you into our humble abode!"
Y/n giggles. "Uh huh. And why were you fighting?"
Leo and Donnie glance at each other and then back at Y/n. ".......uhh.....how about we go make the brownies now!" Leo awkwardly chuckles. "Alright weirdos."
They all head to the kitchen. Leo and Donnie shared some angry glances at each other a few times, resulting in Y/n thinking that something was up.
When they finally get into the kitchen, they see that all the supplies they need are already taken out. Thanks, Mikey.
"Alright. So I have never made brownies....like...ever. So you guys are going to have to teach me." Leo gives Donnie a look that said: "Watch this." "Of course I will! I, Leonardo Hamato am amazing at baking." Donnie raised an eyebrow. "Last time you baked, you set the kitchen of fi-" Leo puts his finger on Donnie's mouth. "HA! BROTHERS AND THEIR......MADE UP STORIES AM I RIGHT?? HAHA..."
Y/n looks at them before sighing and walking into the kitchen. Leo sends a glare Donnie's way and Donnie smirks at him.
They start to make the brownies, and it's going pretty well. Of course Leo and Donnie are fighting with each other but besides that its going pretty well! They finally put the brownies in the oven and set the time.
Y/n sighed as they leaned against the counter.
"That was surprisingly difficult."
Leo speaks up. "Really? I found it extremely simple. Although I suppose Donnie didn't find it too easy."
Leo smirks at a now glaring Donnie. "I thought that you were the one who accidentally added almost the whole box of sugar to them."
Leo stares at the ground. "Whaaat? Noooo...course not..."
Y/n's eye twitches. "So that's why the brownies tasted so sweet...." Leo and Donnie glance between each other a few times and then back at Y/n. Y/n sighs. "You guys are acting irresponsible, you know that?"
Leo and Donnie both gasp in offence and say in unison, "No we are not!"
Leo and Donnie look at each other glaring and continue to talk in unison while getting visibly more frustrated. "Stop copying me! No, you stop it! Shut up! Ughh!! You're being so annoying!!"
Y/n continues to watch this back and forth banter for a bit until it starts to escalate into violence. Then they finally decide to step in.
"Guys guys! Chill out!!"
Leo and Donnie look at Y/n. "Huh?" Leo says with his mouth full of Donnie's arm.
Donnie sighs. "They want us to stop." "Ohhhh....."
There's a bit of silence until Leo lets go of Donnie's arm and Donnie lets go of Leo's mask tails.
Y/n raises an eyebrow at them. "So? You guys have anything to say for yourselves?" Donnie and Leo look around with an embarrassed look on their faces. "Umm...s-sorry…?"
"Good. Donnie?"
Donnie grumbles something under his breath before saying in a voice almost inaudible, "Sorry...."
Y/n puts their hands on their hips. "Good. Now hug it out." "WHAAAAT?!?!" Leo and Donnie say in unison. "Nu uh, no way."
Y/n crosses their arms. "Yes." Donnie and Leo look at each other before sighing and gingerly easing into a hug. Leo says under his breath, "Keep in mind, I'm only doing this because I want to make Y/n happy." "I'm doing the same."
Y/n seems proud of themselves. "Good job!" Donnie and Leo both blush at being complimented by Y/n. "Of course!" Leo states. "I am the better of the two brothers, after all!" "What?! No you're not!" "Am too!" "Am not!"
Y/n just facepalms.
Okay ALSO (I'm so sorry for the double ask but your fic made me so excited) I was thinking, would gideon ever be allowed to play cowboys with the two of them 🤔
My mind went to the thought that caleb allows it once, but then maybe gideon accidentally goes a little too far with the roughhousing and caleb immediately revokes his right to be a cowboy LOLLL
Like idk I'm just giggling at the idea of gideon being put in a makeshift jail and caleb playing sheriff, saying gideon's not welcome 'round these parts anymore (he's only half joking)
say no more you had me hooked at gideon.
this is so CUTE HEHEH omg them as a trio is adorable too. and imagining caleb towering over gideon, toy gun leveled at him before shooting him with the little felt bullet lmaooo, poor guy
SHERIFF CALEB!! him doing an accent is the cutest thing to me and you know she loves to hear it (he definitely isn't trying to copy arthur's voice haha nope). gideon behind fake bars just like come on man I said I'm sorry. but caleb? nah, "this town ain't big enough for the two of us"
(okay wait now I'm thinking about an actual outlaw caleb au help)
I love thinking about MC & gideon actually being pretty good friends, as well as just loving gideon & caleb's friendship. like that's his best friend man!!! the fact that gideon even still visited his grave with flowers waaaah (okay sorry got sidetracked lol I just love gideon)
gideon <3
Shenanigans below
Dewey: Hi, I'm Dewey Duck and welcome to my channel. I've got something special today.
Dewey: This building is prime real estate for testing my new stink bomb.
Dewey: You see... My brother Huey hasn't paid me yet for a project I completed months ago.
Dewey: So, now his building is forfeit.
Dewey sets off his stink bomb.
Huey in the distance: DEWEY!
--
Huey: Ugh, why do we have so many meetings?
Dewey: Right?!
Huey: The investors want us to meet at 4am tomorrow!
Dewey: UUUUUUUGH!
Rolling noises are behind their entire conversation.
Huey and Dewey stop to glare at the cause of the rolling noises.
Huey, Dewey: ...
Dewey puts his leg out and there's a massive KA-THUMP!
Louie, faceplanted on the ground: Ooooooooooow...
--
Louie, holding up his favorite comic: Remember kids, any kind of reading is good, even comics!
Huey opens a soda, accidentally spraying the comic.
Louie, Huey: ...
Louie starts sobbing incoherently.
Huey: I'm sorry! I'll buy you a new copy!
--
Huey: ... And with that last deal, I'm not making more than ever!
Dewey, popping into view: Then you can finally pay me for my last few projects.
Louie, popping into view: Aaaand make a donation to help others in need?
Huey, slinking away: Oh, would you look at that.
Huey: I need to go handle a... a work emergency!
Friends in Small Places (Chapter 3)
So sorry for the wait haha- The stress is real. Anyways this is NOT my best chapter, but it does include something that I always love to see in g/t. But otherwise, I hope you enjoy!
Word Count: 3.4k
CW: Anxiety
3-Cas
When I woke up, it was quiet as usual. My head was throbbing, and my muscles ached every time I moved them, but I forced myself to sit up, finding that I was lying on the hard ground. Right. New medicine, made my body go haywire, Liam- Liam. My eyes darted all round, landing on a small figure that was copying some things down in his notebook from his laptop. He wasn’t as small anymore, which meant I was back to normal. Well, sort of. I felt drowsy. And hungry, but I usually I just go out to go eat something.
I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand, stretching out my arms as far as I could temporarily manage. Liam picked up his head, closing his notebook and laptop. What time was it? I looked through the window curtains to see that the sun was still out, but it didn’t look like it was noon at all. How long was I out for?
“Morning.” Liam greeted, walking a little closer to me. I pressed my back up further against the wall. Did I sleep through the entire I night? Where was my phone anyways?
“M-morning.” I whispered, simultaneously searching for my phone. I knew that I didn’t have to go into the lab today, but still, sometimes they liked to schedule surprise meetings or something. Last time I didn’t show up they punished me for it. I shuddered at the thought, but kept my attention on Liam, who looked like he was forcing himself to come closer to me.
I raised the hand that he seemed to be walking towards close to my chest. It’s not like I didn’t want him to touch or come near me, it’s just that I was scared I’d accidentally do something that he might not like. What if I hold him wrong or-or he gets too uncomfortable, or what if I accidentally drop him? The anxiety ate away at me until I felt myself grow a few feet. I winced, calming myself down before it could get worse. Again.
Liam took a few seconds to get out of his sudden shock, giving a shaky smile. Was that supposed to mean “I’m okay but I’m terrified of you?” I couldn’t help but look away, saddened by the thought. I wish I didn’t have to keep so in control of my emotions all the time. Anytime I want to cry I just can’t otherwise I might hurt people. More especially the regular-sized human that was currently struggling to stand on two feet. I would offer help but… I don’t think he’d be all that excited about it. Neither was I.
“How are you f-feeling?” He tired to hide how shaky his voice was, but I could tell. Most people talk like that when they’re around me anyways. They get one glimpse at the stupid band around my wrist and they automatically think I’m a threat. I mean, yeah, I have depression, but as long as I remember to refill my anti-depressants and SSRI’s I should be okay to go out in public for a couple hours. Most of the time I try to control my emotions though. Since that’s what triggers me to grow in the first place. It’s also mostly why the SSU doesn’t let me see my family for a long time. They think that if I’m around it’ll spark too much emotions all at once. It could be true, and the last thing I want is to hurt my own family.
“Um, a little better.” I sighed, seeing my phone thrown halfway across the room. Right. I completely freaked out when Liam said to open the door and ended up throwing it somewhere. I’ll just go grab it in a little bit, I wasn’t in a rush. If anything, I should probably get dressed to get something to eat. I didn’t know how to cook besides some microwaveable things I had in the fridge. Of course I had some groceries, just not many.
“Hey, um, are you hungry? I can go out to get something.” I asked, keeping my voice to a whisper while also getting ready to stand up. While I didn’t have a job, the company was giving me monthly checks to help for necessities. Clothes, food, basically anything I needed to survive. With another person here I might as well make them comfortable and help out with anything they need. It’s only the right thing to do. Especially if I’m the one giving them a hard time…
“Hm? I-I can cook something.” Liam looked towards where the kitchen was. I nervously smiled, finding it kind of funny that he didn’t realize that this entire house was accommodated for my size. Of course I can be smaller, but I wouldn’t be able to do anything but walk around on the floor. Plus, it’s hard to stay that height without the medicine. I did feel bad that Liam couldn’t do the things that he wanted to do. I didn’t know if he liked cooking or not, but maybe I could at least try to help? I’m not exactly a culinary expert.
“I can maybe help? I-if you’re okay with it of course.” I stared at my hand, slowly lowering it to the ground what seemed a few inches away from Liam to me, but must have been a couple feet to him. He eyed it warily, and the longer he stared the more shaky my hand became. How could I trust myself to carry an entire life in my hands? I don’t even trust myself anywhere around someone smaller than me.
Liam sucked in a deep breath, “I-I, um, I d-don’t-“ He paused for a minute, recomposing himself, “S-sure. If you want to.” He hesitantly walked closer to my hand, looking at my palm as if asking himself how to get on. I didn’t particularly care. It’s my first time actually holding someone. A living person in my hands. What if I drop him? What if I’m holding him wrong? I don’t want to hurt him! I would never forgive myself, and then they’d assign me a new therapist. I bit the bottom of my lip, trying my best to tilt my hand as much as I could to make it easier to climb on. Of course I could just grab Liam, but I don’t think he’d like that very much.
“You can just climb on. I don’t really mind.” I gave the best fake smile I could manage as he returned one back. He took another look at my hand, starting with hurtling on of his legs on and then falling over when I tilted my hand flat to make the rest easier for him. Apparently it just made him roll over onto his stomach. I was so sure Liam could feel how shaky I was. Of course I was nervous, but I guess I’d just have to trust myself. Something I wasn’t prone to do on a daily basis.
I stood up slowly, using both hands to cup the passenger I was currently holding to make sure they didn’t fall, and walked slower than usual to the kitchen, slightly tilting my hand to let Liam back down before I did something I was going to regret for the rest of my life.
“I don’t know how to cook, so I guess you just tell me what to do?” I kept my hands by my sides. Liam took a while to get himself back together, but eventually he just nodded his head, “D-do you have anything in the fridge?” He fidgeted with his hands while I checked, finding it kind of sad that it looked kind of bare except for a few containers filled with some leftovers, eggs, drinks, and a couple of the microwaveable plates I buy at the store.
“Just some eggs, a few plates I can microwave too.” I closed the fridge, noticing that Liam cringed. Did I do something wrong?
“It’s not healthy just eating those y’know.” He muttered, probably thinking that I wouldn’t be able to hear him. I sadly nodded my head, “My mom wasn’t able to teach me before they moved me away soooo-“ I looked away for a second, grabbing two eggs and smiling nervously down at Liam, who was thinking hard about what I had just said. Did i give away too much? He’s going to have to meet my parents sometime soon anyways. They’ll tell him all the embarrassing stories of me when I was a kid and all of the other things I did. The good and the bad. Because that’s just how they were.
“I can just make these, right?” I held them up, watching him nod and tell me what to grab and do. Liam had tried moving some objects around that I needed to use. He tired his best to use them himself, but of course he was too small, or he at least couldn’t do it by himself. I was scared that if I grabbed it at the wrong time then he’d jump and run away, so I usually just waited for him to take a break before taking the issue off of his hands.
It was kind of awkward since I should be the one already knowing I how to cook, but I guess this was fine. Liam was honestly a really great teacher. He kept me calm when I thought the heat would just make the mixture explode in my face. Again, I don’t know the slightest thing about cooking. Not at all. Can’t blame me for not knowing… but maybe Liam could teach me? No, that’d be ridiculous. There was no way that he’d do that. Plus, what if I don’t watch what I’m doing carefully enough? I could really hurt him without even meaning to.
“Liam?” I set down my plate for a second.
“Yeah?” He did the same with his, all of his attention on me. Was it weird that I was a bit nervous now? I feel like it should be the opposite. But here I was, worrying about an answer to a question I pretty much already knew the answer to.
“Would you mind teaching me how to cook? You seem pretty good at it, and I’d like you to feel more welcome here.” I tried to explain thoroughly, so he doesn’t think I’m tricking him. I wouldn’t ever dream of it, but just in case. We’ve only really been around each other for two days anyways. He has no reason to trust me. Especially when yesterday I messed it all up. I had it all planned out in my mind. I’d try to stay calm for as long as I could, let us both get comfortable with the situation (More for Liam than me) and then I wouldn’t have to be so careful around him. Turns out I couldn’t even last a day. Or maybe that was just because of the medicine. It was extremely painful. It felt like my insides were being ripped out. Do you know how hard it is to stay calm when you’re in that much pain? Hard. Very, very hard.
“Sure! U-Um, we might need to go to the store later though. If that’s okay with you of course!” He laughed nervously, trying to rid himself of the shakiness of his voice. At least he was trying. But… I couldn’t help but shake the feeling that he though I would actually hurt him over something as trivial as taking him somewhere. If anything, I’m just happy that he wants to be near me at this point.
“I don’t mind. You’re the cook here anyways.” I tried to lighten the mood. It seemed to work.
———Liam———
When Cas woke up this morning I wasn’t expecting him to be in such a light-hearted mood. If anything I thought he’d be the exact opposite. He seemed tired still, but at the same time he seemed to be trying his hardest to keep calm. Actually, that’s kind of what he looks like all of the time. No offense.
This morning was surprisingly fun. I wasn’t expecting to try and help a full on giant cook something. It’s extremely difficult to maneuver all of the utensils when they’re almost ten times your own size. I wasn’t built for moving heavy things around if you couldn’t tell. But either way, it was still a lot of fun trying to help Cas cook. It was saddening to learn that he was never taught because the company moved him away from his family. Why would they do that in the first place anyways? I don’t see a reason why they would just rip him apart from his family. I would think they’d help him out more than I could actually.
“S-sorry to ask,” I sighed, making the mistake of peering over the edge of the counter, shuddering at the devastating height I was currently at, “But could you l-let me down? P-Please?” I took a couple steps back. Cas nodded his head, extending his hand out just like before and waited for me to let myself on. I couldn’t really tell all that much, but I think he’s just as nervous as I am when he’s holding me. I can feel him slightly trembling, and even the way he moves slower than usual. I think it’s kind of funny how he cares so much about one meaningless life. Or sweet really.
I climbed onto his hand, being taken back to the living room where I had left my stuff. Right. I had a test to take on Monday… Luckily I still had the entire weekend to study. I think it’d be nice to spend at least one day with Cas. We haven’t really had the chance to get to know each other better. Maybe I can ask to make my lessons online? Just until they find my replacement. If they ever find one of course. It’s not actually that bad being with Cas. He’s really nice and gentle, doesn’t overdo anything. I have no idea why I thought it’d be so terrifying in the first place. Then again, it’s only been a couple of days.
“Thank you.” I mumbled, just barely loud enough for Cas to hear. He look a little shocked before smiling. Like a genuine smile. Not one of those fake ones he puts on to hide that he’s actually sad. I must say, I’m not doing a very good job as a therapist, but then again everything seems to be fine.
I put away most of my things inside of my backpack, heading to my little corner on the floor where my other suitcase was, filled with my clothes. I still had a lot back at my dorm, but I’m technically not living here. Just staying for a while until the SSU can make sure that the person I’m with is comfortable without me here almost all of the time.
I grabbed a few clothes, waiting for Cas to leave and change so we could head out. It was already midday anyways. I think it’ll be fun teaching him how to cook anyways. I feel bad about the whole situation he’s in. Does he even get to see his parents? I guess I’d have to ask him that.
After a while of waiting, Cas came out wearing a t-shirt and a regular pair of jeans. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the bright-red band on his wrist though. He’s not… that bad actually. I’ve only ever heard stories that shifters with a red band were a danger to society. Were they wrong? Did the company lie to us? That can’t be true… But so far everything that’s happened to Cas hasn’t been exactly great. The forced medicine, taking him away from his parents, what else have they done? So many questions I wanted to ask Cas, but we weren’t at the level yet. I feel like he’d completely shut me out if I asked him right now anyways.
“So are you fine with just climbing on again?” He crouched down on the ground, his palm down for me. I struggled to climb on, but managed on my own. He was definitely more nervous than I was.
“You good?” I chuckled lightly, getting used to it already. For someone who was so afraid of being mishandled, I was actually doing pretty good. Or maybe that was because Cas was watching everything he did so closely. Ryan was definitely right. Shifters really weren’t as bad as the stories made them out to be. Or I had made them out to be.
“Hm? O-Oh yeah! Just nervous.” He brought up his other hand our of fear of himself dropping me I was guessing. Yeah, I would not enjoy falling from a hundred foot drop right now. I was thankful for the extra protection, but this only proves that he doesn’t trust himself all that much. Another thing I can work on with him? I think it’d be a good thing to work on his self-confidence. Maybe that’s why he’s not used to being around people smaller than him? That being said… how did he live when he was younger? If he couldn’t stay comfortable at a normal height? And yet another question to ask Cas.
I admit it’s pretty scary when You’re a hundred feet up in the air, your life literally in someone else’s hands, and heading to a place you’ve never been to before. Really anything could happen, but I have to place all of my trust in I just met two days ago. I guess you can’t gain trust if you don’t give any in the first place. Still, I couldn’t get rid of the slight fear that was slowly crawling up through my entire body. Okay, maybe I was just jumping to conclusions about getting used to being carried around. This was the most terrifying thing ever.
——————
The walk wasn’t that far. (Well at least for Cas-) Maybe about ten minutes before we reached the small store that was packed with people. I guess this is what it was like on this side of the city? This was just crazy. Maybe that’s why Cas doesn’t go out much? It would make sense. It would also explain why he tried his best to avoid so many people everytime he walked down an isle. Or maybe it was for my sake? I couldn’t tell.
“What exactly do I need?” He laughed nervously, grabbing a carry basket in his free hand, the one holding me cupping even more to make sure I wouldn’t fall off. I think I’ll just stay clear of any kind of view from the ground. Yup.
“Oh, well, um, fruit? Some meat I guess? I-I can help you with that.” Cas nodded his head, walking over to the produce section and picking out a mixed bowl and some things to make a salad. Good to know that he wasn’t just microwaving everything. It didn’t take long for me to help him pick out some chicken to make for dinner tonight and something for tomorrow too. There would probably be leftovers for a good day or so afterwards anyways. I’m just glad I could help him out with something. At least somewhat.
When we arrived back home, I told Cas where to place everything, and that was basically it. I’d just have to teach him how to cook dinner for tonight. But otherwise, we would just be hanging out in the living room. I could go without studying for a while anyways. It was beyond tiring to memorize all of those formulas anyways.
“Thank you so much.” Cas laughed.
“For what? Getting groceries?” I laughed with him. Just because I’m slightly older than him doesn’t mean anything.
“Yeah. I guess so.” His hand laid up against the couch, letting me down and onto the comfy cushion. I made myself comfortable, watching Cas sit on the other couch, grabbing his phone that he completely forgot about after last night and checked on whatever was waiting for him. He sighed, placing it on the table in the middle.
“Wanna play a game?” He asked, looking a little wary. Well, it’s not like I can say no.
“Sure!”
Mae, idk if I sent u this already, if I did, sorry for sending it again lol
Well, I was watching a recorded concert for cello and an AU that I thought you’d maybe probably like…
So, picture this:
The marauders go to hogwarts, but instead of a wizzarding school, it’s a music school.
(Here comes the part that I thought you’d like)
Remus plays the cello, and because he has chronic pain, it’s a great instrument for him because it’s not a bunch of effort on your hip and legs to play it! Besides, I think he would really enjoy playing it :)
Lily plays the violin because (I can’t see her playing anything else besides it or maybe the bassoon)
James plays the viola because he wanted to impress Lily by playing the same instrument as her, which ended up in him playing the viola because he thought it was the violin (the viola is slightly bigger and has a sound that’s a little less acute)
I have a huge doubt about Sirius’ instrument, but I think he would play the oboe. It would be such a HUGE contrast to his “bad boy” behavior, yk? Because the oboe is so delicate and has such a sweet sound!!!
Idk, this was stuck on my mind and I wanted to share it with u because I thought you’d like it :)
Hope u have a lovely day/night!!! 🫶
Omg no you have not shared this with me before lovely, this is so cool!! I love the idea of Remus playing the cello, I think he would be so good at that and it does just sort of suit him, same with Lily and the violin (I agree I can kind of picture her playing a woodwind instrument too, but the violin suits her and I think at age eleven when she started she'd gravitate more towards that). James would totally just try to copy Lily and accidentally botch it haha, but playing a slightly bigger instrument with a slightly deeper, more rounded (?) sound suits him I think. And I imagine Sirius would maybe start out trying to play like the timpani or something, but he could never just be in the background with it and was always too loud so eventually someone forced him to switch to the oboe, and lo and behold he's actually great at it haha. He is a secret sweetie underneath! That is such a fun idea, thank you so much for sharing it gorgeous! Hope you have a lovely day/night too :)
Mid-Year Book Freakout Tag!
We're going to say tagged by @coulson-is-an-avenger for funsies
(so glad the weirdly formatted website I copy pasted these questions from did not fuck up the legibility of this post lol)
1. How many books have you read so far in 2025?
21! Though I am currently in the middle of three shorter books that I hope to finish in the next week or so.
2. What is the best book you've read so far in 2025?
It was never not going to be Sunrise on the Reaping. Like. DAMN.
The Uncontinented Stars by Haden Cross is solidly at number 2 rn though and I'm only about halfway through (that one is my slowest read since I read the og Moby Dick ha <3)
3. Best sequel you've read so far in 2025?
Because I feel like putting SOTR again is cheating I'm going to say Skandar and the Skeleton Curse. I REALLY feel like the series is hitting its stride here! The previous book was very frustrating to me, so I was over the moon to be so hype and invested while reading this one!! MAJORLY excited for the series finale which is OMG COMING OUT AT THE END OF AUGUST. FUCK.
4. A new release you haven't read yet but want to?
I've heard very good things about Portalmania AND OH MY GOD I STILL HAVEN'T READ CELESTIAL MONSTERS I'M SO SORRY AIDEN THOMAS I LOVE YOU. There are a lot on my list that came out in 2024! Omg and Der Katzenprinz! It shall go swimmingly w my Mighty Nein first ever watch when my library gets it on Libby!
5. Most anticipated release for the second half of the year?
Without looking up anything off the top of my head the Raven Boys graphic novel has been calling me like a siren since it was announced AND I Desperately need to get my hands on the new edition/version of The Outsiders coming out in September that has insights and info from the musical!
6. Favourite new author (new to you or debut)?
Honestly probably David Graeber! His book Bullshit Jobs was fascinating and so well written. Really eye opening (and the first book I finished this year, so it has really influenced my life perspective for the past five months!)
7. Newest fictional crush?
JOSS DOOMSDAY. From The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen by K.J. Charles (y'all I accidentally read a smut book and got so fucking invested in the plot and characters it was wild I was telling all my friends and they were all appropriately shocked). Truly aside from all the horny/sexual parts I think that man is perfect.
8. Book that made you cry?
Technically the only book that's made me cry this year is SOTR, BUT I did cry when I went to see a production of the Tuck Everlasting musical and I reread that book this year and really really loved and felt it, so <3
9. Most beautiful book you bought this year?
Definitely the new K O'Neill A Song for You & I which I haven't opened yet but NEED to !! I couldn't resist getting it from a local bookstore and that was the first time I've bought a book new in AGES (I usually do library book sales and used bookstores). This year I also bought The Great Big Treasury of Beatrix Potter which is 😍😍.
10. Book that made you happy?
Recent ones are Rose Wolves by Natalie Warner and Godfather Death by Sally Nicholls! Both were very short and extremely beautiful!
11. What are the books you need to read by the end of the year?
Truly the list is endless and I HAVE to hone in/lock in! (I accidentally went over my arbitrary limit of having 1000 books Officially on my to-read list and then I had a crisis when I realized how large of a number that is haha!) My goal for the year is 65 and I think I can do it, but I really want to focus more on books I own! I need to finish my reread of The Odyssey and I REALLY want 2025 to be the year I finally read Frankenstein! I have a pile of play scripts under my bed that I got from SETC when I went (2 years ago whoops) that I'm hoping will get me motivated to write another play since it's been too long!
Shoutout to the Storygraph for helping me keep track of everything if y'all don't use it you shouldddd it's like my favorite app on my phone other than Pokemon tcg (and tumblr lollll)
Tagging @kkorny @affableadversary @sophsaysstuff217 (thanks for always being in my notifs mwah!) and anyone who wants to do this!!
#THIS WAS SO FUN TO DO !!!#i love reading :)#need to stop accidentally coming home from the library w a dozen new books bc i Work Two Jobs and do not have Time
ngl im so glad you explained the term in both tumblr n the chapter notes, or else i would just be thinking of body parts suddenly popping out of the vest holes in a cartoon way.
i also envisioned a bunch of vests like splitting up and multiplying into different colours. each colour mixing and turning into new vests.
i thought of the mc buying a new vest and the old vest suddenly coming to life.
the idea that the mc is accidentally projecting his random ideas while washing, drying, and ironing the vests which somehow makes them come to life too and that's how they have different features and personalities instead of being almost carbon copies of each other.
oh, i'm sorry for rambling my interpretations of your first vague post about the vest LMAO 😔🙏
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I feel like you've got a pretty sick idea for a different novel haha
Into, Across and Beyond!: My Last Trauma
The night after the multiversal evils were all cured, OMT!Tails was on his way back to Emerald Town, simply needing some time-out from the mayhem. As he walked home, however, he was understandably anxious, fearful even, about how he'd be able to juggle his responsibilities once he fully integrated into being a hero.
Once he got back to the town, he arrived at Knuckles and Amy's doorstep, taking a deep breath before stepping inside.
OMT!Tails: Hey, guys. We managed to get everything sorted out.
However, he noticed nobody about.
OMT!Tails: Knuckles? Amy?
He did notice, however, a horror film playing on the TV. He wasn't scared of it, but rather confused about the cliché act of someone not looking behind them to see a monster coming closer.
OMT!Tails: You're really not gonna turn around and check behind-?
His super-senses went off and he yelped as OMT!Knuckles playfully spooked him with a hockey mask.
OMT!Knuckles: OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!
OMT!Tails: EEP! Oh, it's you, Knux! Phew.
OMT!Knuckles: Hehe. Oh, that was a good one.
OMT!Amy arrived.
OMT!Amy: Good evening, Tails. Cream's all tucked in bed for you, so we've got the night together to spend as a celebration of our achievements!
OMT!Knuckles: Yeah. We've got pizzas on the way, ice cream in the freezer... Oh, and Tails, check this out! I rented three action-packed movies we can watch together! Three!
OMT!Tails: Heh, rent? Did you go all the way to Central City's library to do that?
OMT!Knuckles: Haha, you've definitely got the quips Sonic had, little bro. I call couch!
OMT!Tails: ...Nah. I would, but... I'm just tired after all that hard work over the course of those two days. I'll catch you guys tomorrow.
They were both concerned.
OMT!Amy: Are you okay, Tails...?
OMT!Tails: Yeah, I'm good.
OMT!Knuckles: Okay, then. Copy that.
OMT!Tails stepped into his room, accidentally slamming the door behind him.
OMT!Amy: Oh! Please be careful with the door, Tails.
OMT!Tails: Sorry, Amy.
He stood over his desk while taking some deep breaths. Suddenly, his super-senses went off again and he looked behind him in worry, though nobody was about. To help calm himself down, he put his school rucksack on the table and put on his headphones to listen to some Lo-Fi music.
However, one look at his beam bracelet fired up his anxiety again, and after a bout of it, he just gave up and moved to his bed, hoping that would help.
OMT!Tails: Oh, man... I'm really bugging...
Once he laid in bed, he was taking some steady breaths, but what was on the other end of the bed frightened him; a lookalike of him with a blue glow, glowing red dots for eyes and a singular tail. He breathed in panic as it approached, though as suddenly as it appeared, it slipped away again, to his relief. However, that relief wasn't to last.
The figure appeared ABOVE him, now moving downwards to try and get at him, and when it pushed down, it took OMT!Tails with it as he screamed. After the darkness subsided, he found himself in a Lava Reef cavern with the figure on the other side. Needless to say, he was ticked off for his fears haunting him constantly, and he raced towards the figure in rage to destroy it with a spin-dash.
However, when he connected, not only did the figure NOT flinch, but things just went from bad to worse. Tails backed up in fear as it started shapeshifting into the one creature he outright dreaded seeing; Sonic.OMT! The monster screeched like a banshee as Tails found himself in his room again, immediately legging it to the window.
OMT!Tails: WAIT!
However, he was soon cornered as OMT split into numerous mini-spiders in his image, causing OMT!Tails to realistically panic and gasp in fear. He leapt away from the hoard and ran up to his room's ceiling in fear, and as it happened, it was an anxiety-induced apparition of his fears and his past. He finally fell to a troubled fetal position, scared for his life.
However, the red hues faded away to show he was back in reality, so he hopped down from his ceiling, opening the door to the living room again.
OMT!Knuckles: (yelping in shock) Hehe, hey, Tails.
OMT!Tails: Knuckles? Amy? You... got a minute?
OMT!Knuckles: O-Of course, bro. What's worrying you?
OMT!Tails: Can we get some air while I discuss things?
OMT!Amy: Of course we can.
They stepped outside, taking a walk through Star Light Zone while talking about things.
OMT!Tails: *sigh* I just got so much on my mind, you know?
OMT!Knuckles: I hear that, Tails.
OMT!Tails: With Sonic and Sally no longer with us... not to mention that... thing... still isn't leaving me alone, as if it's a tumour...
OMT!Amy: The Threat? Yeah... We all had it rough, but from what Sally said a few months ago, you having to remember all of that isn't healthy for you...
OMT!Knuckles: She's right, kid. Even without Sonic, we're still a team to the end. Heck, a family, even.
OMT!Tails: Yeah... I just... I want the pain to just stop... I want OMT to leave me alone for good...
OMT!Knuckles: I hear you, buddy. He's been an absolute heartless creep, especially towards you. So, here's the plan.
OMT!Tails: Y-Yeah?
OMT!Knuckles: We'll be by your side during your sleep tonight, Tails. That way, we'll be able to get into your mind's depths and finally drive OMT out permanently.
OMT!Tails: That... That'd be great. Thanks so much, Knuckles.
The two shared a hug.
OMT!Amy: We should get back so we can put things into action.
They returned home, Knuckles tucking Tails into bed.
OMT!Tails: I'm ready, guys.
OMT!Amy rubbed his head as he drifted asleep.
OMT!Knuckles: Alright. Now, let's get this done together.
Knuckles put his hand on Tails's head, whilst holding Amy's hand. They both entered Tails's mind through the former's abilities as the past Master Emerald guardian, and traversed through locations of OMT's making, all of which were strewn with corpses of Tails as decorations as a bid to force Tails to give up. Neither Knuckles nor Amy were having any of it in their paths.
And sure enough, they reached the summit of OMT's mind lair, where Tails was at.
OMT: To think destiny would bring you three here once again.
OMT!Amy: Cut the chatter, freak! You've made a nasty impact on Tails's mental health, and that's never going to slide in our books! What benefit do you think you're getting out of murdering us dozens of times over?!
(OMT sprites in the mockups by mtallic and Sea-Production)
OMT: Ah. You see, it's about MORE than just killing you fools no matter what path you take. I came to your world, because I was honestly getting tired of having to deal with a species that was practically conditioned to accept horror as part of their collective cultures. So I needed something that could actually satiate me.
Flashbacks to all the prior games in OMT's catalogue, which also extends to The Infection and Too Late.exe, are shown as he begins his monologue.
OMT: There's a piece of the human mind that responds to fear and violence, almost... positively. They're shown the suffering of each other behind the safety of a TV screen that separates them from what feels like a different world. It's the means to watch everything happen around them. They may say something is tragic, but human nature is not sincere.
It's the way it was since humankind were still banging rocks together, gathering around the fires they only just discovered. They all have a hunter's instinct to enjoy the death of others. The truth is that, deep down, they don't actually care all that much, not even for you three or your friends. Not when it isn't happening to them. Some, you might say, even enjoy it?
Would that be you behind your screen right now, human? Are you worth the attention? If you enjoy the pain of someone's last breath, what if the person was you? Is your instinct genuine? Or are you just another weak, pathetic soul that's all talk? Soon enough, there will be no more hiding. No more illusion of safety given by the boundaries of a TV or monitor. Something wicked this way comes, and eventually, you will be found.
I am your demise. I am the end. I... AM... GOD-!
Before he could finish his monologue, Knuckles and Amy went in for the attack, catching him off-guard.
OMT: HAHAHAHAHAH! Well done, there. You definitely caught me monologuing. But it amuses me how much you believe you have a chance, even in the feeble boundaries of this poor fox's mind!
OMT!Tails just glared at him hatefully.
OMT!Tails: You know what? I'm THROUGH with you trying to have a foothold on my life! You've been nothing but misery to me ever since you showed your face here! Well, that ends today!
OMT: Confident, are we? Well, that confidence will be your downfall! For Sonic.OMT is inbound, and Sonic.EXE is no more!
The three began fighting OMT, who put up a tough fight even without his ability to shapeshift or pull Confusion Fu on the gang.
OMT!Knuckles: Your warping won't save you now, Threat!
OMT: I couldn't agree more!
OMT threw a kick towards Knuckles, who caught it and swung the demon onto the floor. He quickly got back up, though, and continued the fight to ensure they wouldn't win.
OMT: Why not give up? It would be so much easier.
OMT!Tails: I'd rather fight than let you win again!
OMT: I'd like to see you try, scum!
The fight continued, though as OMT started grabbing Tails's neck, a blue streak whizzed right through and knocked him back. When he got up, he was shocked to see who ELSE had gotten into Tails's mind, even though they're supposed to be dead at this point.
OMT: Impossible!
OMT!Sonic: Not quite, faker!
On cue, Knuckles delivered a sucker-punch to OMT as the fight continued, with Sonic AND Sally's spirits now on board to help stop OMT's reign of terror permanently. Though OMT was undeniably strong, the five heroes together were stronger, and after enough effort, Tails was the one to deliver the finishing blow that finally made OMT cut it out.
OMT!Tails: It's over, creature! You've lost!
Sonic walked next to his best bud and glared down at the monster mimicking his form.
OMT!Sonic: What you got to say for yourself, Malware? Any mocking taunts left in you? Claims how we'd never get any different results from trying to defy you?
OMT!Sonic: Well?
OMT didn't respond.
OMT!Tails: Just as I predicted. Since your physical form is gone, and you've been defeated here, your smug attitude is all but gone, isn't it? No EXE comes without weaknesses, and you can forget even claiming you don't have any. I'm through fearing you, OMT. All of us are.
OMT: Urgh... Yeah, I'll hand it to you, Prower. You DID manage to overcome me, fair and square. And to see you really have faith in your companions to keep you going, even after two of them bit the dust permanently. Very well, then, child. I'll leave you be for the rest of time, and you can go and continue keeping your universe safe, with all those multidimensional buddies you made.
OMT!Tails: Yeah, well, you can dissolve out of existence now. Nobody wants you here.
OMT: That one desire... *cough* ...I'll grant, since my d-d-d-data's falling apa-a-a-a-art. Besides, I kno-o-ow when I've been outsmar-ar-arted and beaten. We've had our las-as-ast round together, and it's been a f-f-f-fun one. Well, I suppos-os-ose it's ti-i-i-ime. Goodby-y-y-ye... my old... friend...
OMT's data fell apart for good, erasing him from this dimension once and for all.
OMT!Sonic: And that's that. We're not gonna be seeing that eyesore here ever again!
OMT!Tails: Is... Is that really you and Sally?
OMT!Sonic: Heh, the one and only, little dude.
OMT!Amy: It's great to see you guys again! Even if it isn't in the way we hoped.
OMT!Sally: Yeah, I understand. But you've been really brave standing up strong after everything, Tails.
OMT!Tails: T-Thanks, Sally. I've missed you both so much.
OMT!Knuckles: I'm gonna be honest, Sonic, I've missed having you about too.
OMT!Sonic: Same here, guys. How's Cream been, little bro?
OMT!Tails: She's been doing great. Even though Vanilla never came back, I still took her under my wing as a little sister.
OMT!Sally: Mhm. She's really looked up to you in that retrospect, Tails, and I'm really proud of you.
OMT!Tails (tearing up with a smile): T-Thank you.
OMT!Sonic knelt by OMT!Tails.
OMT!Sonic: We may not see each other again after tonight, but just remember, me and Sal will ALWAYS be in your heart, and we'll be rooting for you from the sidelines!
OMT!Tails: Thanks, Sonic. I'll keep making you proud each day!
OMT!Sonic: That's the spirit, little dude!
OMT!Sally: We wish you three the best out there!
OMT!Knuckles: Well, it's time for us to wake up.
They each woke up.
OMT!Cream: Morning, Tails! Morning, Mr. Knuckles and Miss Amy!
OMT!Tails: Hehe! Morning, Cream!
OMT!Knuckles: How long have we been asleep for?
OMT!Cream: Well, it's 8:30am right now, so...
OMT!Tails: Oh, right! Ivo wanted to see me this morning about the device!
OMT!Knuckles: Well, let's get over there and sort things out.
OMT!Tails: You got it! I... I know it'll be some time before I completely recover, but with OMT no longer tormenting me, I feel I'm onto a good start.
OMT!Amy: Glad to hear it!
They headed out together.
OMT!Knuckles: So, how's the graduation process going? You looking forward to being back at school today?
OMT!Tails: Sure am! Mrs. Ciprianni's an amazing teacher to be around!
OMT!Knuckles: Wonderful to hear it!
OMT!Cream: Could we visit the Burger Monarchy after school today, Mr. Knuckles?
OMT!Knuckles: Consider it a treat for both of you! We've still got your interdimensional friends to catch up with as well.
OMT!Tails: Yeah, good point!
So Yaoyorozu is in Ashido’s room with her helping her study, when they realize they both have to go pee. With this, Ashido decides to take this opportunity to teach Yaoyorozu something for once; how to pee while standing up!
yaoyorozu had become ashido's very best study buddy. she had learned a lot from yaoyorozu, maybe even more than any teacher had ever taught her. recently, ashido had been feeling the pressure to teach her something as well. the two of them sat in the pink haired girl's room, trying their best to focus on their textbooks. yaoyorozu was continuously crossing and uncrossing her legs, trying not to pee herself. she didn't want to get up and disturb her reading, nor ashido's. however, mina noticed very quickly. "i have to use the bathroom, do you want to come with me?" she said. yaoyorozu nodded, "yes, i have to as well." they both walked to the bathroom together, and the dark haired girl was convinced to go first, but felt uneasy about sitting down on the toilet seat. "what's wrong?" ashido asked as she sat on her sink counter near the toilet. yaoyorozu's face went red. "i-i feel nervous about sitting down on the seat..." she admitted.
"just pee standing up, i won't judge!" ashido replied. "i'm not a boy! girls can't do that... can they?" ashido perked up upon hearing this, "of course we can!!! do you want me to teach you?" nervously nodding her head, she consented. the two girls took off their pants and underwear, and ashido positioned them both around a foot in front of the toilet. then, she began to guide her friend through the process. "take your index and pointer finger and kind of spread your upper lips apart and up, like this." she demonstrated, looking to yaoyorozu to see that she understood. copying her, yaoyorozu followed suit. "then, you just have to lean forward a bit." with this, ashido began peeing, forming an arc with her stream that perfectly went into the toilet bowl. she sighed out of contentment after holding it in for a little while. momo's stream, however, did not end up as perfect at first. she had accidentally aimed herself a bit towards the left, and wet ashido on the leg a bit, but quickly corrected herself and aimed it back towards the toilet. "oh gosh, i'm so sorry!!!" she said as she moved her fingers to change the course of the stream. "it's okay, haha!" ashido chuckled as the warm liquid dripped down her leg and onto the floor, "you're doing great, but my stream is way more powerful than yours!" the girl to her right let out a little "hmph!" and pushed harder and aimed to cross through ashido's stream and overtaking it. the two began to fight for dominance over who had the strongest flow until yaoyorozu's began to trickle out and she ran empty. "i win!" ashido smiled, handing her friend some toilet paper to clean herself with. "no fair, i only just started!" "you snooze, you lose!" ~
