i think when writing v4v the main issue for me is not and never has been "how do i get these characters to realize they are into each other". that bit is easy.

they get enjoyment out of being around each other (even if it involves shooting each other a lot and bickering nonstop). they're highkey obsessed with each other, which is an easy segue into being attached at the hip--they hate each other, of course they're into each other. it's hard to have feelings THAT strong about someone and not have it look at least a little bit like something else.

the REAL difficult part is getting them to admit that they don't want each other dead. that their lives are better with each other in it. that's the part they would rather rip themselves limb from limb than own up to.
