Hi all! My name is R (pronouns: they/he), and I'm trying my hand at having a separate blog specifically for my art! I work with both digital and traditional mediums, do a lot of fanart, (mostly MASH, but also Star Trek, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Twin Peaks, and more), and I also love painting portraits in general, both of people and of animals — especially cats 🥰

"That's true. Lemme think. I'd often get to go on work trips with my mother when I was a little girl. Sometimes she'd even let me use the equipment!" She started to speak faster in excitement at the memory."Like this one time, she let me use this super big mangelicana!"

"Mangelicana?"

"This fun machine that magnifies light. She said using it reminded her of using magnifying glasses on bugs as a kid."

"I see. Why on bugs?"

"I asked her the same thing!" Her smile seemed to grow impossibly wider. She rocked on her heels in joy at the thought of kinship with the knight. "She said it was to see if they'd pop." "... did they?"

However, before she could even reply the heavy doors to the hall dragged open. The deep creaking the the stone was drowned out by the blaring trumpets announcing their arrival.

Intro Post!

hello little gay people in my computer. Consider this an intro post! I used to be on tumblr in ye olden days of like 2012-2016 but I sort of fell off of posting for one reason or another, but with the death of tiktok and the birth of nasty AI on nearly every other platform save for new ones that I'm scared of and unfamiliar with- I thought it was time for me to officially come home. I have a main acc that you will never find, but I'll be postin' art here, and probably won't be able to help but reblog art that I also like- so to keep that stuff separate I'll be tagging my art as #eddiescribs so you can sort it out from other posts! some stuff to expect here: I have a YouTube channel that I post to every Saturday at 3pm CST, so sometimes you'll get me posting there! Since most people here likely don't know me I've decided to make a little introduction here along with my other socials.

I'm ORI a self-taught digital artist form Ukraine. A big fan of space, ocean stuff and the most of all flowers! Sometimes I as well really enjoy using flower language in my works, not sure why but it kinda feels like I'm adding a little special meaning to my art. Not the most active one apparently but it's alright to take time sometimes ,dosen't it? :}

I have my own little story I'm looking forward to write or perhaps draw into comics if my patience allows, as well enjoy making backgrounds as well sometimes even more then drawing the characters themselves.

Chasing a Dream: My Path to Game Development

My ambition to develop games first came into my mind while I was an undergraduate student, and then, working as a software developer, this dream about game development kept on growing increasingly. I started making ways to make it happen, and that is what led me to this MA program in Game Art and Design.

I decided to create this blog as a way to share my experiences, learning, and steps I am taking toward my goal of game development. In this blog, I will be talking about the skill set I am building in the program and sharing my journey into moving closer to being a game developer. I hope that this will be interesting to anyone with curiosity about game development, or for others like me who are doing a switch into this field.

About Me/ Introduction Post! ☆

Hi! You can call me Tripp. I'm mainly going to be using this account to cross-post my art (as I mainly post on my instagram).

My favorite actors are: Kurt Russell, Sylvester Stallone, Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves, Sam Elliott, Kevin Costner, Bill Paxton

Movies I like: Point Break (1991), Road House (1989), Tango and Cash (1989), 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001), Wayne's World, The Lost Boys (1987), Near Dark (1987), the Rambo series, Death Proof (2007). Also, overall, movies with the actors mentioned above.

What I tend to draw: Overall, my hyperfixations are what I draw and what I draw is really covered above (Actors and Movies). I'm not going to state anything specific since it just varies about what I feel in the mood to draw anyways lol.

I listen to: 80s music, metal (hair metal, glam metal, nu metal, things of that sort) Worth mentioning cause there might be a rare occasion I draw musicians as well.

Other interests: I collect physical media! That includes DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, all things of that sort! When I'm not drawing I'm usually watching some of the movies I found thrifting :)

And yeah! That's really all I can think of right now. I'm just honestly trying to meet more friends and mutuals so please just reach out to me if you wanna become friends!

I'm super new to Tumblr, so here's a short intro:

I'm a Taiwanese American artist born and raised in California, who's into all things cute, colorful and shiny!

I always dreamed of being a professional artist. After pursuing a career as a lawyer and then becoming a stay at home mom of two amazing boys, I discovered the art of toner foiling in May 2021. I drew and foiled my friends' pets and shared them on social media, and it blew up into my first business!

Since then, I've expanded to digital paintings (mainly of cats and capybaras) and stickers.

I've also done a lot of charity work with my art:

- Raised $2k for Ukraine

- Fundraised $18k for rescue kitties including Wisp and Tater Tot

- Donated and displayed 18 foiled portraits of Queer lcons for the SF LGBT Center

- Painted a baseball base for the SF Giants' Pride Game
