Stupid. That's what they were. Stupid. An idiot. A fool.

Villain should've known never to trust the likes of Other Villain. That slimy bastard. After everything Villain did for them, they dared leave them for dead, with Supervillain still roaming around.

Villain hissed as they tried to move for the upteenth time. "Fuck..." They muttered and put a hand over their wound. They had tried to keep the blood from flowing, they really had. But it was no use. Every shift, every move they made, it only made matters worse. Their vision was already getting blurry.

Villain cursed as they tried to get up again. Logically, they knew that they should stay put, to minimize the damage. Logically, they knew they were being irrational. But they were a villain, one who had run away from Supervillain's clutches. The same Supervillain that was probably looking for them right now.

Villain whimpered and more blood leaked out of their abdomen. "Shit." Villain saw black spots as they leaned their head back against the wall, tears in their eyes. Would they die here? Was this how they died? Alone, betrayed, cold, in hiding?

They felt something fall out of their pocket. Dazily, the wounded villain peeked and eye open; it was the flare Hero had given them.

Hero, their nemesis, who was too trusting for their own good. Villain laughed at the irony. Who were they to judge on trusting others?

The second they had realized Villain was teaming up with Other Villain, they had given them a worried look and a flare.

"Just in case." They insisted. "You know I can't directly help you. But if anything happens..."

Villain laughed and with an impish grin said that they were only keeping it just to get the hero to shut up and not look at them like that. Hero blinked before giving them a soft smile. "Please, don't hesitate to use it."

So Hero was also a fool then. If the villain used the flare now, Supervillain would probably invastigate and find them like this. However, Hero...

Would the hero be quick enough? Or, if Supervillain found them first, would Hero be able to save them?

Only one way to find out. Villain thought bitterly as they grabbed the flare with shaky hands. Before they could regret it, they lit it up. And then everything went dark.

Hero was patrolling with Sidekick when the sky lit up. Both the heroes glanced towards the red dot in the sky. Only one of them knew its meaning.

"What the hell?" Sidekick mumbled. "That looks like ours. Is one of our teammates in trouble? No, that doesn't make any sense, there weren't any missions, so why-"

"That's not from our team." Hero's mouth felt dry and they licked their lips nervously. "Sidekick."

Sidekick flinched slightly at the look on Hero's face and their tone. "...yeah?"

"Listen to me carefully." The hero grabbed their sidekick's shoulders in a near-crushing gril. "Call Superhero and tell them that I'm taking care of it. Do NOT come after me and do NOT send for help."

"What the... Hero, what's going on?"

"You have to trust me." Hero clenched their teeth. "Please, trust me."

Sidekick started at them in shock. They had never seen Hero so stressed. Still, they gulped and nodded. "Okay..." they grabbed their communicator. "Okay, go. I'll tell them not to worry."

Hero nodded grimly. "Thank you."

"Be careful."

The hero smiled grimly. "Who do you think I am?" And they bolted.

Rooftop over rooftop, with the wind rushing in their ears, the hero ran and parkoured, their eyes following the red light, which was dimming as every second passed.

What seemed like an eternity later, Hero finaly found the villain... on the ground, with a pool of blood under them.

"Villain!" Hero nearly shrieked. "Villain!"

They fell to their knees beside their nemesis, not caring if they were covered in blood or not. The villain was unresponsive. "Villain, no, no..." Hero put a hand on the villain's cheek and tilted their head. "Villain, talk to me, please."

The wounded villain's eyes fluttered and the hero felt their heart soaring sith relief. "Oh, Villain. How long have you been like this?" How did you end up like this?

"Ggh.." Villain tried to move. Hero stopped them. "H-Hero..?"

"Yes, yes it's me." Hero's eyes widend at the sight of the hole on Villain's side. "God dammit, Villain, I told you not to trust them."

They heard the villain laugh. "Y-Yeah... you did. Great j-job, Hero." They winced and the hero put a gentle hand over their wound and an arm around the villain's shoulders, pressing their almost cold body against theirs.

"Let's get you somewhere safe, yeah?"

"Why don't you leave this to me, hero?" A voice behind them purred. The hero flinched and the villain went still in their arms. They didn't need to turn around to know whose it beloned to.

Hero licked their lips. "Supervillain." Their voice was somehow even.

"No, no, no, no, no..." Villain mumbled and Hero shifted so the villain's face was presses against their chest. "Hero please, please run..." they heard the villain whisper and they felt a pang in their chest at how broken their nemesis' voice sounded.

"I'm sure you have other problems you need to take care of." Supervillain said casually, staying right where they were. Hero turned their head to meet their gaze, their expression neutral. "Don't bother with the likes of them. So, go on." They made a dismissive gesture at Hero. "Shoo."

Hero's eye twitched.

"Hero, leave, leave me, please." Villain mumbled against their chest.

Hero's grip tightened. Never. They'd never leave them.

Supervillain tilted their head. "I don't see you leaving, little hero."

Hero gave them a thin smile. Well, it was obvious what they had to do.

The hero gently released their villain and stood up. Slowly, they turned around fully, their body shielding the villain's.

Supervillain grinned. "So is that's how it's going to be?"

Hero huffed out a small laugh in return. "I'm afraid so."

Hero tried to ignore the fact that they had told Sidekick to tell the others that they were taking care of it. That they didn't need anyone coming after them. That they were all alone.

...Shit.

The hero hadn't counted on Supervillain, of all people, being here.

They blinked and Supervillain was standing right in dront of them, a knife on their hand.

Kenji and Brooklynn seem to be very incompatible right now. So why and how will their relationship work if they're so different? In jwcc those two were similar, but now, not even their hobbies aren the same.

Can u tell us what in common they have in CT?

I think this argument is flawed and might be influenced by your dislike of the ship (i assume you don't ship them).

Because we literally don't know ANY of the Nublar 6 hobbies, only their jobs. We never got to see them in their everyday lives before everything went down. Like, would you be able to tell me what Ben's hobbies were before he started invastigating Brooklynn's death? Or Darius before he started hunting down the allosaurus?

The same could be said about Yaz and Sammy. Like, from what's in the show, would you be able to tell what they have in common, their shared hobbies? No, because it's not integral to the plot, the only thing we know is that they love each other and that's all we need to know.

Because the show isn't a romcom about the romantic/everyday lives of six friends, it's a show about the lives of six friends who have to deal with deadly dinosaurs and corrupted human beings ruining their lives. So that's normal that we don't really know what their lives look like when everything is "normal", because it's not what the show's about.

And I actually think that the show is telling us that what broke up Brooklynn and Kenji was anything but a compatibility problem.

They were together for 6 years, and in the few flashbacks we have, we're shown that they were nothing but happy together during these six years. They went on picnics, on hikes, lived together, the only picture Brooklynn had at her secret appartment was of them (printed and framed, on her desk, where she spent most of her time), she had cute cringy videos of them on her phone, they still looked smitten with each other in the few scenes we got...

Neither of them actually wanted to break up.

But I can see the point you're trying to make, in that Brooklynn's investigation could be considered a "hobby" like any other that'd make her incompatible with Kenji.

But it's clearly not. It's not explicitly said, but it's in the subtext that things only started going awry when she started working on the Broker case after Ben introduced Dark Jurassic to her (she said it to Kenji, "I've been all over the place lately, I'm just working on something super important").

Before that, it seemed she had a healthy balance between her personal life and her work.

This shows that this is not a "Kenji and Brooklynn are not compatible" problem, but rather a "Brooklynn developed an unhealthy obsession with catching the broker" problem. The proof of that is that she didn't neglect only Kenji, but all her friends (as shown in the facetime), not even doing the bare minimum anymore to maintain her relationships (weekly facetimes).

At that point Brooklynn wasn't compatible with ANYONE, but that was because she lost herself and started neglecting herself by neglecting her personal life. We're shown times and times again. She's devastated when Kenji breaks up with her but the bag of money from Daniel is enough to make it instantly disappear from her mind, same with Darius' confession, she hears that her best friend is in love with her, that should be a life-shattering news, and yet immediately after she goes back to her investigation as if nothing even happened and expects Darius to do the same and still help her with her investigation. This is not normal, this is not healthy, and this is not who we are told Brooklynn was during these six years.

Her obsession is not shown as a "natural" evolution of her character, as part of her normal behavior, it's something that happened to her and that basically ruined every aspect of her life. There's a lesson she needs to learn. She's not supposed to still be this Brooklynn at the end of the show, because it's not the real Brooklynn.

So I think that when she manages to get out of that self-destructing obsession, she'll be able to repair her relationships, she will want to. And, as I said, a lack of compatibility was never a thing for her and Kenji. They were compatible before she "lost herself", and they loved each other.

I think she already got rid of her unhealthy obsession, but is now continuing solely because she thinks she doesn't have a choice. That she already sacrificed too much to stop before she achieves her goal, that what awaits her if she was to get back to her loved ones now is too scary for her, and that she genuinely does it to protect her friends because she knows that now, they're in the Broker's radar because of her.

As for what they have in common...as I said, we don't know that about any of the characters.

These ladies of Italian mafia and British gangsters have interesting similarities I found:

1. A "Good" person who has job with charity.

-Audrey was a school teacher who led students into good way as Arthur and John remember.

-Grace Shelby (née Burgess), who already knew how cruel warfare was to ordinary people during the period of being an operative, had an idea to found an institute for orphans and worked as a philanthropist.

2. A strong-minded beauty who stole the boss's heart

-Vincente and Audrey had good marital relationship as they didn't want to seperate by Arthur and John. After all of it, Audrey faced Tommy Shelby alone and provoked.

-Grace is the one and only true love of Thomas Shelby. Grace and Tommy had missed each other for more than 2 years and happily married. Grace has guts to go to Black Swan Inn to invastigate her enemy alone, face Tommy blooded after killing a member of IRA and stay beside him, have tense discussion with Polly, May, and Tatiana and doesn't let them humiliate herself, and choose to follow her heart to love Tommy NOT her husband.

So, what I expect to watch in Grace alive AU is a scene Grace and Audrey have conversation to discuss as ladies of their families, wives of men who lead their own gangs, and mothers of children. Before they end off their conversation, Audrey would ask: "Who do you think you are, young lady?"

Then, Grace would give attack back as she answers as below: "Don't forget this, Mrs. Changretta. I'm NOT asking for favors. I'm asking for FUCKING deal."

my lore idea for her is that she was illustrated by Dark Crafter and kinda made her come to life with dark matter magic. Problem is that Drawcia's illustration was HALF-DRY and when she came to be, she was a melting mess of paint. another significant trait of hers is that she cannot talk due the other hald of her mouth being non-existent. she can make noises and do the witch laugh track though.

after the events of canvas curse (in which adeleine has tagged him in this adventure), Kirby locked back the paint witch inside her canvas, but it wasn't destroyed. Instead, Adeleine took the canvas and kept it safe in her wooden house, Believing that she could help the paint Witch of Walknig to the right path.

In the events of star allies, she tags alongside adeleine, ribbon, dmk and daroach in order to invastigate more about the dark jamba hearts. while the dark stones doesn't effect her (as she's not a "being" like the others), it did hit Adeleine and had to fight alognside ribbon in order to rip it out as painlessly as possible.

takes place around 2018, China was visiting an on-going invastigation scene that was hidden in a remote area. He talked a good while to several people in charge before taking a good look of the disheveled lab.

It looked like who ever they are, they rushed to destroy any evidence before they left and took what they needed. There was a lot of smashed and burned funiture and some piles of rubble. it looked pathetic.

China then Noticed a gap in the wall, taking a few steps closer to get a good look. He was suddenly jumped by a pale child, it was scrawny, fast and incredibly bloody.

The child was shot down by gaurds but not before tearing a bite down China's Arm, they quickly brought China out to get him treated

Killer Queen is too short ranged of a stand to affect most sleuths and it's not in Kira's character to drop Sheer Heart Attack at the police departament and hope.

Kira generally doesn't have many ways to deal with characters that: Work in teams. Work from far away. Have any sort of records showing that they're invastigating him.

The man had to be bailed out by Bites the Dust and still lost Most sleuths wouldn't even let Kira get away for long enough for him to aquire Bites the Dust so that's not even something to consider in most of these cases.

{But you're really ignoring one thing: It can't be detected by anyone but Stand Users. Why would they think they needed to investigate Yoshikage Kira specifically? There's no evidence of the killings, since in canon, even the police didn't try to investigate the mysterious disappearances. The sleuths would mostly not be able to understand that Killer Queen exists, and even if they assumed it was something supernatural, there's still no evidence. And the man managed to impersonate another man in front of his family, landlord, coworkers, and everyone who may have talked to Kosaku on the street, with only the man's child catching on. Had Hayato never thought to set up a camera in his parents' room, Kira would have never been caught at all. And Kira doing poorly against teams of people investigating him doesn't line up when he's gotten away from them twice (he would have escaped Jotaro and Koichi were it not for Act III, and he did escape the entire Duwang Gang when they were chasing him by severing his own hand), plus managing to keep his identity secret from EVERYONE except Hayato until the kid figured out how to use the time-loop to his advantage. You're right that most of the time Killer Queen wouldn't get to Bites the Dust, but it would be because Kira wouldn't need to. He has eliminated people in broad daylight before, and he could do so again when against someone who can't see Stands.}

DRTA Ch.3. Investigation Summary

Well, I finally watched the new part (it took me much longer than I thought). I was going to do a review, but I kept getting distracted so… I present to you this summary where I'll briefly run through the main points.

Again, English isn't my native language so some sentences may sound weird. This summary contains spoilers for Ch.3 Invastigation Part, of course. You have been warned.

Okay, what do we have?

Both victims died because of poison. Well, that was obvious about Marin, but it was useful to know about Coco as well.

Missing display case. I… have a guess where it could have gone, but I don't have enough evidence to prove it. So…

Coco's too massive and heavy to be lifted easily. The culprit should be strong enough to do this… unless Coco herself lair down there. Accomplice? Maybe, but… why?

Dumbwaiter in hidden room. Can accommodate someone Konoe's size, but the max weight should be 45 kg. According to profiles, we have only Kokona (41) and Miharu (42); the next one - Marin (46) - already too heavy. But we don't know for sure if the dumbwaiter was used at all.

Seiha most likely reapplied. In order to include Kokona as a support student. And, if we believe Koin-kun, he had to use someone else's e-handbook to do this. Kokona's maybe?

Full green dye in robot sewing machine. Can we agree that Marin's dress was dyed with something else? (green pesticide maybe?)

We asked Kinji what the hell did the poisonous flowers do in the waiting room. He was evading the answer. Sus.

Marin was the holder of Wish Ticket. Probably we should check everyone's e-handbooks to figure out who the culprit is. Or no. After all, we have one missing. Sus.

Wish Ticket's description says that you could wish for anything that could be fulfilled, even beyond the four main things. That's pretty… disturbing, should I say? What else could you wish? More details, no?

Metaphorical murder. Who knew about the original menu? Konoe, Chisa, Marin, Coco, Kokona, Kinji, Retsu. But! We also have the sabotage dude who got rid of the original dishes and Miruku who helped us clean up the area.

We're finally talking about how sus Kokona is. She knows things she's not supposed to know. And she definitely was too clean for someone who spent at least a week in a basement. Sus.

Seiha suddenly turned out to be useful. Well, how useful could he be. Design rip-off? Well, we already had the stage actor without audience, the detective who was guided by emotions above the logic, the policeman who defines the concept of justice by himself… the designer without single design fits the pattern quite well. Just we wait and see?

We got 'A Lucky Charm' as Truth Bullet. Koin-kun, what exactly did you give us? Handkerchief? Teacup? Dirty sock? Hatami-kun's nudes? What?? Seriously dude, since when did we end up in 'Mickey Mouse's adventures' or whatever this stuff was named. You're not even a mouse!

Hatami-kun continues to stick to my hcs about him. This is anxiously funny.

That's basically all. Well, if we're gonna believe BDAs, we have four people without 'alibi'. But if I could be completely honest…

Kinji Ueda. Answer the question, goddammit! You're acting sus without necessary, man.

Koin Hatoyama. I can think of many motives for him, really, but they all seem pretty dumb. His breakdown doesn't seem fake either.

Well, they both also have a 'why do you go to the crime scene if you're the culprit?' alibi. This alibi is invalid if they go to each other's crime scene though. (Just saying)

Ryohei Seki. Guilty as charged as an instigator, but the culprit? Why?

Seiha Arumada. His 'crime scene' is too sus. How the hell did someone manage to throw paint right in his face and he didn't see anything? Even is it's Seiha. No one saw anything sus. That's… sus!

Retsu Matsuoka and Miruku Hishimeki. I still think they're sus (for different reasons though), but they should have an alibi. I mean, if they were gone for a while, someone should have noticed it (especially Retsu, he's pretty loud guy, ya know).

Kokona Arumada. She's sus as hell, but Konoe defends her. And you know what happens when she defends someone; Chisa and Hatami-kun know it for sure…

There's still a possibility that Marin and Coco killed each other. But who messed the crime scenes up then? And why??

Okay, this is the situation when you know what happened but not who did it. Even now it's too hard to point a finger. And Hold Nova's words about 'mysterious and complex case' don't make it easier…

Oh, and one more thing: Arumada siblings have a common panel in class trial's preview. Can you just… split the panel in two? If not, well…

Kokona meets all the requirements of the culprit and Seiha's most certainly the sabotager. Was sabotage used to facilitate the crime? Is it coincidence? Deceit? Wish from Ticket? Kanade's influence? Ugh…

Well, I guess we'll just wait until they explain 'two murders rule' for us to clarify all the doubtful points. Thanks for reading this to the end.

Also I really love Klein's Magician acting. I hope he keeps having to be extra to progress his sequences. I really love all his deceptions and multiple masks lol.
