Yandere Pops and Wes fixating over the same darling would genuinely be such a mess.

They're both middle-aged men who know their obsessive tendencies towards the young FIXER are wrong.

They're both possessive and intimidating, leaning towards isolating their darling.

They're both in positions of power over darling: Pops being the leader, the one who commands the team, and Wes being the medic, the one who is in charge of everything and anything medical.

Where they differ is in the fact that Pops is able to healthily and subtly display his feelings for darling. Wes is unable to act so vulnerable and will accidentally end up pushing them away emotionally.

They both kind of look at each other and are like "damn it."

"I-I can't believe you are proposing such a thing. I thought you of all people would be rational enough to understand that engaging in our feelings for them will only lead to unchecked madness."

"Rational? Rational like you med checking them everytime they get too close to someone you deem a threat, Wes?"

"I resent that fact, however true it may be. Well played, Pops."

What Pops is proposing is sharing darling. Yes, the young FIXER should get a say in it, but he doesn't have the heart to sit them down and risk it all just for a probable no.

some of my jd ships + what happens if one becomes a vampire

(literally just me yapping 👍🏻)

(ft ruben/polo, gray/haze, eva chase/iris, and adora/nessa!)

ruben/polo

okay so no matter who becomes the vampire they’re immediately seeing if they have powers. ruben in particular is doing the spiderman hand thing and being disappointed when nothing cool happens.

i see them telling the other fairly quickly. like, this life-changing event just happened! who else would they tell if not the other? the other’s reacting pretty well after they get over the initial ‘wtf’ of it all-but the vampire is going to hear soooo many corny, awful jokes about it. it’s more comedic than angst all around.

listen, if one becomes a vampire the other one’s eventually going to be one too. it’s forever! they’re forever! if there’s a way to be together they’re taking it.

gray/haze

i think it’s definitely more of an angst situation here. i see it happening in one of two ways-gray’s already a vampire when they meet, or haze becomes one after they’re already together. either way i think both would see it as a curse. the vampire is noooot having a good time.

as he would see it as a curse, he’s trying to hide it from the other as a way of protection. however, eventually these defenses crumble-or the other catches him in an unexplainable situation. the other is definitely a touch frightened, but is so disgustingly in love that this doesn’t change much for them. like, you’re doomed? okay, well now i am too.

i don’t see either willing to pass on this curse as it will-in that scenario i think they’d eventually part ways, but remember each other fondly. bonus points if they run into each other after like, twenty years and the non-vampire’s got signs of aging. the vampire thinks this is the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.

eva chase/iris

whilst i could see either becoming the vampire in the previous two scenarios, i really only see eva chase as the vampire here. i think she’s having an absolutely FANTASTIC time with it-she’s already a superstar and a supervillain, might as well add vampire to the list! it’s not like anyone’s noticed her supervillain identity, so i think she could play off the vampire thing well.

iris notices, and notices FAST. it’s something about the slight difference in eva’s speech, something about the way she’s only pretending to eat and drink on camera-she’s smart so it doesn’t take long to put it together. eva knows iris knows, because at their core they understand each other like no one else. (and they hate that. so much.) i can see her confronting eva about it, with just like, the slightest touch of concern.

eva chase is definitely using this to mess with iris, but i don’t think she’d turn her into a vampire. however, iris is becoming a vampire of her own volition-she and eva are true equals, and she doesn’t want to lose that. eva doesn’t want to admit it, but she doesn’t want the chase to end either. its the slowest slow burn known to man. literally spanning centuries.

adora/nessa

have we had them for all of a day? yes! do i love them? also yes! i think for adora, she’d become a vampire sometime after the events of la bachata, whilst nessa i can see as having been a vampire for a while. or both! of the two, adora’s definitely having a harder time adjusting to being a vampire-i think nessa’s more chill about the whole thing.

nessa would casually drop it in conversation once she was mostly sure adora would be fine with it, less build-up less reaction, right? adora’s just sitting there like ‘pardon’ while nessa’s moved on to the next topic of conversation. however, she trusts nessa completely-if nessa’s not worried about it, adora won’t be either.

adora would definitely make telling nessa a whole thing. nessa’s stressed thinking she’s getting broken up with, so when the news drops she’s so relieved. adora almost has to ask if she heard her correctly. this really isn’t a huge deal to nessa-so her gf’s a vampire! god forbid a woman have hobbies.

in the scenario where only one is a vampire, i see the vampire being willing to turn the other. however! the vampire is making absolutely sure the other knows what they’re in for, and that the request isn’t motivated solely by love for the vampire. if both these conditions are met, the other becomes a vampire as well, and they’re a vampire power couple. seeing everything the danceverses have to offer, going to all the best parties, and having every adventure they can. after all, who needs the sun when they have each other?

Diana would be a blue iris, and there are a couple reasons for this. Irises get their name from the Greek goddess Iris, who was said to act as messenger between the Greek pantheon and humans, and as Selûne's Chosen, Diana sometimes gets to serve as a messenger herself. But beyond that, blue irises in particular are a symbol of faith and hope. Diana's faith is the foundation of who she is as a person, and she's able to find a silver lining in almost any situation.

Blue irises are also a sign of deep trust, and Diana is trustworthy herself, but she also puts deep trust in the people she cares about because she expects them to be trustworthy, too. Let's just say this expectation does not always serve her well.

But yes. Diana would be a blue iris.

I've been reading all about puppy Itrit and I have a few thoughts myself!!

I think he should have his own bed under Zephyr's desk, a place where he can stay close to his owner at all times

I also think he should have a muzzle or a chew toy in case he becomes too rough or too bitey, alternatively he should be trained if he begins to bite!!

And lastly!!

He should be able to receive treats often, because he's such a good boy and he listens to his owner so well.

Hello idk if someone asked you this before but what singers/bands do you think the 4 tezcatlipoca listen too? (As well any other Aztec gods you want to list as well)

I thought about Tezcatlipoca liking aurelio voltaire but it could be because I see him maybe liking the gothic aesthetic since he’s associated with the night and things dark ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (also I think there was a myth saying him and quetz inventing music for the world so there’s that too)

Okay so I love love love this ask because JKDDFVVKJZDDHG RAMBLING TIME

So Tezcatlipoca and Quetzalcoatl did invent music. That’s why I sometimes hc that they’ll go to Broadway musicals or shows together, and sometimes they surprisingly both listen to classical music (specifically piano) because it tends to remind them about the quote unquote “earlier” forms of music (without lyrics). Now, I do think Tezcatlipoca occasionally listens to popular artists at the moment, but generally yea he listens to gothic aesthetic music (and electronic, because I can see him listening to it a lot somehow).

Huitzilopochtli also likes electronic music. It fits his fast paced vibe and the energy of...yk being the sun. He also tends to listen to songs without lyrics, but in that group he primarily listens to electronic or some other type of fast-paced music. He also gets dragged to Broadway musicals by his brothers, and while he doesn’t admit it he thinks it’s kind of cool.

Xipe Totec’s playlist would be more mellow, with more classical artists and occasionally just vibe music, yk? But his music tastes are the hardest to pin down for me because while he’s portrayed as benevolent and I like to think of him as this patient, quiet guy, he can also be ruthless, angry, and all the generally negative things that embody his being. So maybe he listens to more hardcore music. The sudden change from gentle music to rock or whatever the hell that guy likes will be pretty jarring but you get used to it (read: Tez has now withdrawn from stealing his AirPods because he has no fucking idea what song’s going to be playing in there).

Anyway I’m sorry this was kind of long and I didn’t name too many actual bands or singers/artists, but I kind of read this as their general music tastes if that’s ok lol 😅 plus idk that many artists in their range of music taste sooo
