Shaking his head as if that was ever gonna be a "no thanks" or a pass. Especially if Strawberry was going to have her little moment. He had to support both of them, and to see how the character she inspired was going to be. Even if he hadn't helped with the bat facts, and they had met some other way, he'd be interested. Vampires were his entire thing.

Him reading it at all would be super sweet - doesn't matter how long it took. Billie knows that what she writes is not to everyone's tastes, so if he ultimately decided not to, it wouldn't matter.

Another redraw of my old art. This one got quite a few upgrades/added details as opposed to my usual redraws.

The concept behind the character design was the whole "Snow White's description makes her sound like a vampire" thing (though instead of making Snow White a vampire, I made a vampire based on Snow White). Skin as white as snow, lips as red as roses, ebony black hair- you get the idea.

If good and evil did exist as immutable forces (a la Gary Gygaxian-style alignment chart) and as attributes of personhood irrespective of actions one takes upon the world what's the foundational tenet of each? Is good about striving to help others and evil about indifference to the suffering of others? Or is speaking purely about outlook rather than actions, does evil necessitate some sort of active malice? Or is it better to just throw the words out there and let them be interpreted however by whoever?

A little background for others: So I started listening to the Audible TVL audiobook and I was like… wait no this is NOT the one I listened to when I was 12 so I started digging for it, trying to find it.

Turns out the one I loved at that age was the ABRIDGED version of the audiobook BUT even then, the unabridged was a totally different reader than the latest one. I eventually got used to the new reader since it’s the easiest one to play in my car, but…!
