I have to love Yanqing, I am a firm protector of his rights and wrongs. And I don't get why people dislike him. I can understand that not everyone likes him because not everyone likes everybody. But to dislike him for being rash, for being childish while he IS a child seems silly. He craves validation, he seeks improvement, he wants to fit his goals of what he considers good. Regardless that he is skilled, that he is a hard worker, regardless of it ALL. He is what a gifted child is. He struggles with his life and with his wants. Like many others. should he be shamed for things that kids do? He is well written and his style is well made. I hope we get more content of him because I want to see him grow. I want to see him make silly mistakes and then get help from his father. I want to see him work for his goals. I want to see his highs and lows. I want SO bad for him to get stronger and come to terms with his, lets be honest, self worth issues. AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT I WANT TO SEE HIM CARED FOR. For not just people around him but for him to feel skilled, to feel improved. Because when you get so much praise it starts to feel fake, and even your greatest works can seem foolish. To come to terms that you are THAT good is hard.

Gladys Endgame Theory

I’ve seen many speculations about who Gladys is going to end up with and I find it interesting who pairs Gladys with whom

First and foremost, I’d like to say that I’m not trying to dunk on anyways ship. At this point, it’s all pretty fair game here who she’ll ultimately end up with, in my opinion.

What I’m saying is that the people who want Gladys to end up with the Duke are people who focus more on the history of the gilded age and dollar princesses which is a fascinating storyline to go with.

People who want Gladys to end up with Jack or Billy are more looking at what would be interesting for the story. Billy would give her that happy ending she deserves(though he’s so boring in my opinion, I’m sorry, tell me why I’m wrong I’d love to hear why). While Jack is an interesting twist in the story and how they haven’t meant considering Gladys’ closeness to Marian. It almost seems deliberate why they haven’t meant. Maybe that will change in the coming episodes, who knows. (It would also be interesting to see Jack end up with Bridget as well).

I think in the end, and I know we can all agree on this, we just want Gladys to be happy and find her happily ever after. And I really hope she finds it
