Some doodles from a few weeks ago--one platonic, one romantic.

The drawing on the left is April using Raph as a throne (bc she's a queen... it sounded funnier in my head). I like to think the turts just kinda let April do anything with/to them, within reason. They know she wouldn't purposefully harm them, so they go along with whatever, especially if it's amusing.

The one on the right is Donnie helping April get comfy after a stressful day. I haven't been super into the romance genre lately, but decided to draw middle-aged/married Apritello fluff, anyway. Just wanted to portray my fav thing in any type of relationship: Soft, selfless acts of kindness for the sole purpose of caring about a loved one's well-being. <3

Donnie was supposed to have his arm/leg bands and belt but I was side tracked while drawing this and forgot they existed lol (I can usually effectively draw and watch a show simultaneously, but apparently that wasn't the case for Only Murders in the Building lol--I was too invested in the show).

Ok so most of this art is SUUUPER old (like 1-2 years old?) But I really wanted to introduce these guys on here! I have a ton of stuff about them on my insta but because I'm moving to tumblr I wanted to make a big intro post for them!

This is my TMNT AU! This post will only include the 4 turtles +April and casey cause I haven't designed anyone else yet really, they have notes and stuff on their refs but I wanna write some stuff too!

Leo is 18 years old, is the identical twin of Mikey, and is a trans woman! She and Mikey share the leader role, being the oldest they look out for their younger siblings! Leo is more reserved and soft spoken but is also fiercely protective of her family! Her and April are daiting also! Leo also has OCD so she struggles with anxiety and paranoia but her family helps her and supports her!

Mikey and Leo hatched from the same egg, their egg was taken and injected with mutagen by the Foot Clan before they hatched! They were the 3rd and 4th experiments of the Foot Clan (hence the tatoos on their face), respectively, the first 2 having passed after hatching. Leo has arthritis in her knees (the knee brace) and struggles to stand for long periods of time. Mikey is more outgoing and relaxed, though just as protective over his family. He is the only one allowed to drive (according to Splinter) though he's currently teaching Raph and Donnie to drive! They have a truck that she(Mikey) and Don fixed up together though they don't get to drive often. Mikey is also daiting Mondo and Renet (they're poly) and has adhd

Don and Raph were also experiments of the Foot Clan, stolen by Splinter as eggs and raised by him once they hatched. Raph is the youngest, being a month younger than Donnie. Donnie loves to make things and fix things. They love learning how machines and tech works, it's their special interest! Don is autistic and has bad eyesight and aren't the most coordinated. Mikey also has bad eye sight and his heart-shaped glasses are prescription! Oh and Donnie and Casey are in a queer platonic relationship!

Raph is the youngest and has the biggest personality. He loves animals and plants and uses his interests as an outlet for his anger issues. She likes to paint as well and her room is full of things he's painted. She has a pet bird named Soda! He found Soda when he was little and Soda is her best friend (other than Casey). He doesn't always think things through and acts impulsively a lot but she does her best to keep herself in check and find healthy ways to deal with her emotions (she is also autistic and has trouble regulating her emotions.) She has a HUUUGE crush on Y'Gthba aka Mona and Y'Gthba has a HUUUGE crush on him! But they're both to scared to admit it to each other so ya.

Casey is 17 like Raph and Don and those three are best friends, they do literally everything together. Casey loves hockey, food, and music! He plays the drums and bass guitar! He taught Raph how to play the drums too and is teaching Donnie how to play bass! He has a little sister named Angel and he loves her to bits!

April is Casey's tutor and best friend also! She loves journalism, writing and photography and is the head of her and Casey's highschool newspaper! She's a huge book girlie and loves to info dump to Leo about her newest read!

So ya know how 2012 TMNT and LEGO Ninjago were around at almost the same time? Like peak ninja times, my dude.

So like..since last December, I've been having these Elemental Turtles brainworms. (The main cast is inspired by the 2012 one but not exactly the same) and I'm kinda attempting to draw it when I get a new pen for my tablet.

The elements list that I have in mind is as follows and no, there is no prophesied Green saviour here, like there is in Ninjago:

-Leonardo : Water (Cause it feels perfect ngl)

-Raphael : Fire (That one 2012 episode ;D)

-Donatello : Earth (For plot reasons and also cause it'd be really cool)

-Michelangelo : Lightning (Not just cause of that happened in that Newtralizer arc, but also cause it matches his personality imo)

-Splinter : Wind (It'll delve deeper into a spiritual thing later on in my plot)

-April : Psychic (Like ik she has it in 2012 but it suits her so much that I don't wanna give her something else, also has plot purposes)

-Casey : Metal (Plot and cause it'd be fucking metal [pun intended] of him)

-Karai : Ice (Cause yes, just yes. Badass freezing her enemies because she can)

That's it for the most part. I don't want to make Shredder the Garmadon equivalent (cause I ain't doing Garmadon dirty like that, nuh uh) so I'll have to do a bit more thinking whether giving him an element (and if yes, which one?) would suit my plot line.

The characters will also be having their elements on their body, like birthmarks! While not in use, it'll be looking like an actual birthmark (eg: a darker green for the turtles) but when they use it, it'll glow with colour.

Example: For Leo, I'm planning on giving him a water drop mark on his throat (lol iykyk) that normally would be a bit darker than the rest of his green body but when he uses his water powers it'll be blue.

These marks will be something to earn, like how in Ninjago, the ninja had to unlock their true potential. So the first arc will be about that earning and all. The teens don't know what element they're gonna get until they earn it, in a way the element chooses it's weilder. Splinter will be making guesses but not all of it will be right. This Splinter will be inspired by CANON 2012 Splinter btw (none of that fanon abusive bs I keep seeing, they could never make me hate you 12! Splinter 😌)

Also I have many angsty, fluffy etc moments already planned out. Raph...Raph, the mental fuckery you'll be going through...hehehe >:)

I have fun facts too. Which I will reveal if anyone is interested in hearing one.

I also have two original characters in mind who have plot relevance. They're also going to have elements but I'll have to narrow it down a bit cause I have a few ideas for their elements which also will be affecting relationship dynamics depending on what the chosen element is so yeah, I have to give it more thought...

I'm not sure whether to include romance tbh... I'll think about it some more after I develop the platonic aspects of the relationships as well as character development.

Idk what to name this tbh, while it's inspired by 2012 TMNT, the characters will not be the same. There will be differences in personality and dynamics. If anyone has any ideas, comment it down, thanks! (When I name my fics, the titles get poetic and a tad too long for a title)

For Mikey I have no plans of a love interest. He’s aroace and while aroace ppl can be in relationships!! mikey just has no interest in being in one. Tho he is very invested in other ppls relationships lmaooo he’s nosey and a gossip

Favorite TMNT ship? Uhhhh...

I don't have any other ships I like as much as Timatello. I know some of my friends' OCs that are shipped with the turtles (in a not weird way dw) but they don't technically count.

I like Leosagi, but mostly 2003 Leosagi and certainly not 2012.

Aprinardo in TOTTMNT is alright, I like them being a couple because they actually aren't weird towards eachother and it's wholesome, but I only see them as platonic.

Leochi (Leo and Yuichi Usagi) is pretty good, I love the concept of Yuichi working at the Run Of The Mill Pizza, or a crossover between dimensions.

Shellshocked is sweet, but it could never happen, unfortunately.

Donnie and Atomic Lass is just funny as hell.

Apritello is something I don't really enjoy, especially in 2012, because of the way they wrote it. If written correctly, I can see this ship happening from a platonic standpoint.

Mikey and Renet - Again, platonic.

Raph and Mona Lisa - 2012 did it and it was rather undercooked and he never actually called her by her actual name, which was odd. Overall it's very sweet but I wish they had more time to develop it. Again, I'd love to make them a thing in my Rise fanon, but my current storyline is incomplete.

Raph and Alopex - Yeesh, the age gap that some of the artists said they had was.. Odd, to say the least. But their relationship definitely did grow to be pretty good until they parted ways. I'd be down to make Alopex best friends with Raph, but the romantic aspects don't vibe with me.

Donnie and Bigfoot - Get the fuck out.

Sunita x Raph - I once saw a friend of mine ship these two together and honestly, I liked it! Very good art, very good opinions on it.

[By the by, I will try my best to keep with the kraang speech. And these HCs run under the assumption you are a friend of the turtles with low - moderate fighting skills. Oh! and April has the favoritism from the turtles. Honestly, I'm sorry but I kinda slander Donnie.]

Tw: Dehumanizing.

What even made them want to keep you as a little pet? You didn't have main character powers like April, but you also didn't care. You didn't care that they all looked alike, it probably happened because you were chill and Kraang Prime took notice and went: "That one." While pointing at you. You found no problems with them as long as they weren't bad people, up until the Turtles tell you about them.

Now, would they mutate you? No. Likely not, I have a feeling that Kraang like you better human. Besides, keeping a full intact human means that they can monitor and track your behaviors to become more human-like, as well as keep said human under constant vigilance! "This is what a phrase known by those we call the humans is said: killing two birds with one stone."

Once Donnie figures out the Kraang have taken a liking to you AND April, and he tells the rest of the team, Splinter askes both of you to stay in the sewers, but neither of you do. Because April being kidnapped would cause the Earth to end, the turtles [mostly Donnie though, because he doesn't care for you as much. Sorry.] decide to watch over April, instead of you.

This is likely when the Kraang kidnap you and bring you back, since the turtles are too busy watching April, the Kraang are free to kidnap you. Of course, the turtles care, but sadly not enough to save you first instead of April.

If the turtles fail to save you, but they save April, they'll retreat back and while Raph and Mikey desperately want to go back and save you because you're stuck there, Donnie and Leo stop them by saying that the time isn't right. Leo cares, Donnie not so much.

The turtles saving April first and then you would be a point of manipulation from the Kraang. "Those that are called the turtles have abandoned the one we call [Your name but in leet speak]. (Like how April = 4PR1L.)The ones called the turtles have been shown to be in favour of the one called April. Why not let the Kraang show you what the humans call "love?"

They definitely forget to feed you and give you water a little bit. I'm sorry, but they don't know how to take care of their own experiments, much less someone they see as a pet. Although once they found out they were starving their little pet / kid, they felt bad and put at least one Kraang in charge of keeping you well-fed and watered.

Oh, the Kraang see you as a little pet, just a nice little human pet that they need to take care of [order from Kraang Prime and their own Yandere instincts tell them to take care of you.] Since Reader can't do much or fight well, this definitely causes the Kraang to see them as weak and frail. Because of this, reader is dehumanized and belittled without the Kraang realizing since... they don't know better, they don't know that this makes you hate them more.

The fact that they have a hive mind makes them actually scarier, because you'll start realizing, what you tell one Kraang, gets shared with all of them. They all 'love' you, and so when you interact with one, it's like you interact with all of Kraang!

Think of it kind of like the Truman show, except you [Truman, in this scenario] know and can't escape.

The Kraang love watching you and always watch you no matter what, partially because they don't understand that you feel uncomfortable being watched, and because of their odd fascination with you.

I feel like at least one of them would start collecting things about you, and then the rest of them would start doing the same, like Kraang 3 will have a picture of you sleeping, and so then one day... you wake up to at least 10 of them taking photos of you sleeping.

If you ever give one Kraang a nickname, the other Kraang will be jealous. They will also want a nickname, and when it's their turn to take care of the human, they will do a lot to get your attention and call them something. Even if it's a curse word that they don't understand; it's something you called them personally.

You woke up one day, still stuck in the stupid Kraang prison cell with nothing but a stuffed animal they gave you one month after you were brought here as a 'celebration for you coming home.' Like this place could be home.

You flipped over onto your other side to be meet with a shock. There was Kraang designation 314133KurezenAlpha. Or as you nicknamed him because of the 'humanoid' body they chose: Steve.

You sighed, then massaged your nose slightly before greeting him. "Heya Steve." The Kraang Droid stepped back from in front of you to a few feet in front of where you laid on the floor. "Kraang 626Alpha is not the one you have designated 'Steve.'" You squinted slightly at him. "My bad, you looked like him." The droid stood a little stiffer at your response. "Kraang 626Alpha accepts the human apology. Kraang is here to give what is called 'food.'"

You looked at what the Kraang Droid was offering you. It didn't look appetizing and looked more like a big slop of mess than anything else, but it was food. Well... pretty much food. "Thanks, I guess. You going to be the watcher for a while?" You asked the Kraang Droid, although it was already standing stiff, it seems to stand straighter when you talk to it, as if trying to be the biggest, or trying to show off.

"Yes, human. Kraang 626Alpha will be what you call the 'Watcher.'" You ate the food, deciding what to call it in order to find a semblance of happiness. "Do you mind if I call you.... Kevin?" With that, the little brain in the middle of the torso smiled. "Kraang 626Alpha doesn't mind being called Kevin by you. That would be known as 'awesome.-"

So reader is mikey's twin, they're the weakest in the team tho they can fight, but what makes reader different a bit is their love and passion for music, they even have their own channel on YT - all the brothers love it - under a name " single star " (if it's cringe then feel free to change it), but it's a secret, no one knows their identity, not even april, they're scared if anyone found out they'll be shamed for it.

But things took a different turn when reader and mikey were asked to go shopping, leaving their room unintended for Donnie, leo and raph to see; once they saw the hidden instruments and reader's logged in channel, they connected the dots.

ROTTMNT! Turtles & Sibling! Secret Musician! Reader

Warnings: N/A Word Count: 1.8K Pronouns: They/Them Notes: Sorry this took so long! I may have gone a little off course, but I hope you like it! I certainly enjoyed writing it!

Your gaze is lowered as you look at your feet. You can see the sweat dripping off your face as you wipe it all off and look back up at the training dummy. Not even a rip. You had been at this for hours, or at least, that's what it felt like. You had been training to master your weapon soon, but you didn’t feel like you were getting any closer.

You had been training non-stop for a couple of days, it's what your brother Raph told you he did. He noticed how you weren’t as great with your weapon as the other four of them were and offered to train you, but you declined as you knew it would break your spirits even more. 

You looked up to him. You looked up to all of them. You wanted to get stronger, but you just weren’t as talented or as motivated as your brothers were. You just felt like it wasn’t in your blood like it was in theirs, it sometimes made you question if you were a descendant of the infamous Lou Jitsu. You felt like you were living a lie, that this wasn’t who you were supposed to be.

You straighten your back and drop your weapon, turning around and walking towards the wall, where you had set up a little break station for yourself. You slide your back against the wall, grab your water bottle and squirt some of its contents into your mouth, then you pour the rest on top of you to wash away the sweat. You wash away the water from your eyes as you look up to where you were, where your weapon resided. It filled you with guilt, shame and embarrassment.

“Screw this. I’m out.” You say to yourself. You shake the rest of the water off and leave the garage and your weapon. You needed to clear your head, you needed a place you felt was your own and luckily, you had just that.

Music.

You felt like music got you. There was a wide arrange of feelings that could be told through it and you could make your own. You had been musically talented from as soon as you could hold a baby piano. It was your whole life, the only thing you thought truly belonged to you. You weren't ready to share this passion publicly yet though, even with your brothers. You felt that if you did, it would turn into something you couldn’t control and leave you unmotivated and alone. 

That is exactly why you went undercover.

You had a social media page where you posted your music, you did covers, concepts and even full songs you wrote. You had quite the following, not enough to make you instantly recognizable or all over the news, but enough to have a pretty big fanbase. They got you and you loved it. You were also making quite a bit of money from it. Enough to be able to have the small luxuries you dreamed of having when you were younger, and soon, enough to support yourself.

You lived in the New York City sewers, around the busiest part to be exact. It took a lot to almost be able to afford to support yourself. You have been looking at apartments recently, you weren't ready yet, far from it, but you knew that it would come soon. You dreamed of having that freedom and being away from the gross sewer smell, which made you happy that it was almost in your grasp. The only downside to this is that you don't know how to tell your family…

Would they be disappointed that you don't want to follow in their footsteps? Would they stop talking to you if you were to follow through with it? Or would they just forbid you from leaving, you didn't know. The one thing you did know is that they wouldn't take it well. When you thought about it, you kind of assumed that some would take it better than others, like Donnie for example. He had his own passions he would like to pursue, so he would definitely see where you were coming from. But others, like Raph, you knew wouldn’t take it well.

Raph was your biggest obstacle in this, he was a family man. You knew he wouldn’t want to let you go, especially with all of the villains in New York City alone. Moving out of New York wasn’t an option either, all of them would lose your mind, but you also wanted to stay close by. So with those factors, there weren’t really many options, but you were determined to become independent at last.

You threw your weapon into the corner of your room as you took out your laptop to check the statistics of your video. It was a short snippet of a song idea you had one night, you didn’t really think anything of it, but boy was it a hit! You beamed as you saw everyone in the comments asking for a full version of it. You had already fully written it out, so you were happy you got to work on it again. You went to grab your keyboard, but just as you were about to take it out of the drawer it resided in, you hear a knock at the door.

“Y/n!” Mikey screams, when you tell him he can come in, he kicks the door open, leaving you stunned.

“I need you to go to the store with me! Dinner isn’t going to go well without ingredients, and Leo, and Donnie, and Raph don’t want to go with me!” He whined as he zoomed around your room, then found his place grasping onto your shirt, begging you to go with him.

You weren’t one to willingly disappoint your brothers, let alone Mikey, so you agreed to go with him. You grabbed your bag and two of the cloaking brooches that you kept handy, and just like that, you were ready to go. As you left, something managed to slip your mind, something that wouldn’t normally do so. Your door creaked open, showing the insides of your room, it showed the open drawer with your keyboard, and your open laptop with everything you had been keeping from your brothers, all free for viewing.

While you were busy with Mikey, Donnie passed by your room. He noticed that the door was open, but you weren't there. Your door was never open, he didn't even remember the last time he saw your room. He considered just closing the door and walking out, but he felt an overwhelmed urge to just take a look.

"Well. They did leave their door open.” Donnie said to himself, trying to find an excuse to take a look.

He was curious! It was mutant nature to be curious, especially for a man of science like he was. As he walked into your room, he noticed some posters and flags on the ceiling, something he wouldn’t have seen otherwise. After snooping for a while and with no luck in finding anything interesting, his attention turned to your laptop.

He made his way over to your bed, making himself comfortable in your sheets and blankets as he brought the laptop over to his lap. As he snooped, he giggled to himself, hoping that he would find something innocent that he could use as leverage to make you do the dishes for him, but found something completely different. He found your music, your channel. As he pressed play, his body instantly relaxed, he really liked it. He wondered why you never shared this with him. He thought you were close enough. He decided to go to your videos to see what else you have been up to. He clicked on a random video, ‘Virtual Diary #19’ It was titled. He listened carefully as it played.

“Hi Everyone!” It started. It had a colourful background that had a little chibi art piece in the corner that looked strangely like your human disguise. “This is another update into my personal life, and I have some exciting news!”

Unknownst to Donnie, Raph and Leo began passing by your room and noticed him.

“As of now, I’m almost making enough to sustain myself! At my age in new york? Who’s heard of that!” You chuckle to yourself.

“I’ve been looking at apartments and every night I’ve dreamt of the day it will happen. I’d have more room, so production quality would go up, I would have more time to work on music, and I’d finally get more freedom! As much as I love my brothers, this one has to spread their metaphorical wings and see what I’m going to do with myself!”

Donnie finally noticed Raph and Leo listening in on him. Leo looked disappointed, but as he looked up to Raph, he looked absolutely heartbroken. He looked like he was holding back a lot which caused Donnie to look away, feeling ashamed.

“I don’t know how to tell them though, I feel like they would freak out! They were always so protective of me and I appreciate that… To an extent. I just want to go and learn things on my own for once. I’m tired of always being babied and left in the dust.” You paused.

“I’m not going into… The family business, much like they wanted me to. I don’t know how to tell them that yet, so that will be our little secret for now!” You said as your avatar winked.

“Well anyways, I’m working hard on that new song I teased last week and I think it will turn out wonderfully! I aim to release it sometime next month, so stay tuned! That might be when I move out depending on how much you all like it! But anyways, I love you all! Goodbye!” You chimed as the video ended.

The three brothers just stood in disbelief as they could not believe what they just heard. Raph still deep in thought. You don’t want to be a ninja? Raph knew you were struggling, but he didn’t know you downright hated it. As he was processing what he heard he stormed off to his room. He didn’t know what he was feeling, scared, mad, sad, a mix of everything. 

Donnie just cleared what he was doing off of your computer and returned it to an unaltered state so you wouldn't suspect anything. As he left your room, he gave a guilty look to Leo, but as he looked away Leo just gave him a reassuring look.

Summary: The boys always knew that they had to rely on each other but what happens when someone they never knew they had is found, and just like them?

“I don’t understand, why can’t we get into Sacks building at night?” Mikey asks looking around at his three brothers. “I mean I can try to hack into his security systems and block it and get in there and grab the Mutagen and leave” a smile is thrown from Mikey to Donnie.

“So we get in and get out.” Raphael shakes his head turning around and grabbing his Twin Sai’s and walks out of the lair towards the exit, with the boys following behind him.

“Stop talking so loudly Mikey, you idiot they’ll hear you” Mikey turns around looking at Leo with a Sheepish smile before dropping down into the lab. Looking around the huge lab they notice that there’s a lot more than just one Mutagen. One that would require a living being to create that much.

Donnie looks at them with a confused look before looking around for anything that can clear it up. Opening another door, he looks around freezing on a container. Meanwhile Raph trying to talk to Donnie but getting no response making him go over to him. “Can’t you hear m-“ he pauses looking at what Donnie sees. Without looking away Raph goes into the other room more not taking his eyes off Container. “Leo…Mikey get in here you need to see this.” Raph says before mumbling asking the unconscious mutant turtle in the container. He notices that it’s a woman and she looks older than them.

“Holy shit. We have to get her out of here.” Leo doesn’t waste a second before figuring out how to get her out of there. “Come on help me you idiots”

Snapping out of it the other three run over to help Leo figure out how to get the mutant out. Before their only focus was the mutagen but now they needed to know who this turtle is and where she came from. “Are you sure she’ll be okay?” Mikey grunts as he climbs back up to where they dropped down. Grabbing the woman he pulls her up first while Donnie runs around grabbing as much Mutagen as possible.

Getting to the Lair took a lot longer than usual considering Raphael is carrying the mutant. After setting her down on the couch, they all stand there looking at her confused. “Run some tests” Leo mumbles to Donnie before walking off trying to process it.

Waking up on something soft throws you off, quickly sitting up not being the best idea feeling a pounding sensation in your head. Looking around you notice a camera system but no one in the room. The mumbling of voices makes you stand up walking towards it slowly. Leaning against the door you hear muffled voices. “We don’t know who she is!” “We can’t just kick her out!” “She’s like us!” The voices say talking over each other. Opening the door I see four men. The voices stop,turning to look at me, eyes wide. I look at the one with the blue mask. “leonardo?..” I turn “Raphael?” Tearing up ii look at the last two. “donatello…? michelangelo? Oh my god” I go to take a step towards them but stop when they take a step back getting defensive.

“How do you know our names?” Leo steps forward glaring down at you. “I’m sorry you guys don’t remember me..um I was also an experiment when you boys were just little babies, When Dr. O’Neil burned down the building I was in a separate room from you boys and Splinter. They didn’t want us to have any type of connection. Little April she didn’t have time to save me, and Sacks got to me before she could. He’s been using me for years,but enough about me you boys are all grown up.” I smile slightly wanting to go over to them.

“That still doesn’t explain why he kept you from us, why would we have a connection?” Raph stays still not fully trusting you enough to let his guard down.

Sighing I step slightly closer to him before slowly raising my hand smaller hand that matches theirs to Raph’s face. “Because you boys are my sons..” I smile at them. “I’ve been hoping one day I would see you guys again.” I hear multiple sharp intakes of air around me. Glancing around I motion the other three to come closer. Holding their hands.

“But…we where told that you where dead” Mikey tears up laying his head on your shoulder. I tilt my head laying it on top of his before looking up slightly at the other three pulling them closer. Donnie on my other shoulder and the other two leaning their foreheads against mine.

“I’m here now…that’s all that matters. Not going anywhere.” Even in the tired, weak,and underweight state your body is in doesn’t stop you from holding your boys close.

“Now where’s Splinter? I need to thank him for raising wondering sons.”

At the end of the day you would go through all this again just to get to this point again no matter what. The boys have their mother and their mother has them.

Fic name followed by the pairings as currently, my three fics have three very different versions of these characters lol

Last Knight Saki/Raphael: Saki has always been one of my favorite villains, and it's almost difficult not to see the goofy guy from the 87 series. But In some versions of TMNT Saki is a cold-hearted monster and in Last Knight, he isn't a good guy, Saki is a mobster, he is a killer, and more importantly he is a human being. He has feelings, and for the most part, he knows some of the things he does are really fucked up. Raphael is very much a ninja capable of killing, but he's also the heart of his family. If anything Saki's bringing the true ninja out of Raphael even while they're falling deeper into a romantic relationship. This is also probably the closest I'll get to writing a soulmate fic for TMNT 😂 I enjoy writing these two interactions because there is so much I can do with them, they both are very versatile characters. Mikey/Tiger Claw: I wanted to try out this pairing as I hadn't written for Tiger Claw before and toeing the line between enemies and not enemies has always been something I'm fond of writing. These two might not stay in a relationship but they'll have fun while they are in it lol Bebop/Rocksteady: Funny to say but this is one of my OTP's, you just don't get Bebop without Rocksteady, and the same in reverse. I hadn't written for them before and I really wanted to at least hint at it as they aren't the main pairing or even the secondary lol Hamato Yoshi/Tang Shen: A Canon Pairing but one I'll keep because it is tragic and Splinter is really messed up from her death, it's fun to write different ways she died, and also how much everyone involved regretted her dying so needlessly.

Pac-Man Mikey/Delisha: Delisha is an OC of mine that I made for Mikey to fall in love with. De is my first attempt at a trans character and a romantic partner for Mikey! She's funny and adores Mikey, she also works for Shredder as a receptionist and sometimes as a medic. That actually doesn't bother Mikey that she works for the enemy because he adores her. Of course, if she worked against him and his brothers that would certainly start an argument and a possible breakup for these two. Donatello/Saki: The Main pairing for Pac-Man. They are going to hurt each other, Both of them are really messed up Donnie having gone through a situation that really made him switch up his game and Saki just being the normal paranoid bastard that he can be lol Of course their differences are going to start arguments and Saki isn't just going to allow Donnie to control whatever their wacky relationship is and Donnie isn't going to give up power that easily. Casey/Raphael: Not my usual cup of tea, but I don't mind occasionally writing pairs that I wouldn't normally, and I also got the idea because someone asked me if Donnie's with Saki who's Raph with lol They are best friends so it's easy to transition that into a more romantic relationship. They still do all their normal stuff, but now they also cuddle on the couch to watch movies-kiss, etc. Leo/Rocksteady/Bebop: I was learning about terminology and QPR caught my attention. I'd already planned for Rocksteady/Bebop for this fic but adding Leo in a Queer platonic relationship with them had all the guys dating lol April/Venus: I was researching and was reminded once again that Venus was a thing and I should add her coming back into the guy's lives after having been away for a while. Pairing her off with April gave me Casey/Raph vibes and I liked that so I added it in, Not sure If I'll write this paring again after this fic but I'll have fun exploring their dynamic in the fic.

Nova Saki/Raphael: The Saki in this is a much better person than he is in Last Knight and Pac-Man. He's also really messed up from a long possession and learning how to live in a new era. Raphael in this is learning what it's like to be stabbed in the back by 'friends'. They begin to trust each other and eventually grow romantic feelings for each other. Now when the family finds out well that's going to be fun to write lol

💚: What's your OC's gender identity and sexuality?

Andi is a cis girl - her pronouns are she/her. She's bi-curious, actually - she once had a crush on April when they were 13, but she suspects that was because April had been such a solid figure in her life after her dad's passing, that she mistook comfort and platonic love for actual romantic attraction. Regardless, she became curious about what a relationship with another girl is like - though these feelings fade after she and Donnie start dating.

🧠: What do you like most about your OC?

Is it superficial to say her appearance? 😅

No, serious answer. I'd say her wit and biting sass - while she does border on being a tad mean at times, it's always fun to have her have a witty remark or comment up her sleeve, especially if banter like that is between her and Raph. Which is why they're my favorite platonic duo 🩷❤️

🧊: Is their current design the first one?

Kind of, but not really - I'll explain.

So when Andi was a self-insert, she was literally that - a self-insert of myself, with my name, appearance, everything. This was technically her original design - until I started redesigning her.

When she became Andi Rhodes, I knew I wanted to make her have caramel-colored hair, green eyes, make her color be pink and have her wear clothes like dresses and stockings - and I stuck to it, eventually finding pictures of a TikToker named Maddy Kendzior on Pinterest, and deciding she was exactly what Andi looked like.

As far as her personality goes, that had a bigger revamp. Again, she was a lot like 13-year-old me at first - a bookworm, introverted, anxious, depressed - but quite flat and static, which was not fun to write. Eventually, I started to ask myself, 'What's an interesting type of character that 2012 Donnie would like?' And I settled on a genius-type - but add some flaws and make them feel different. So I made Andi a prodigy and gave her a laser gun - something unique and fitting for her character. Then I started imagining myself as her - I pictured her as being quite sassy and direct, but still having a good heart and being loyal to the core. She'd still retain some old qualities, though - a bookworm and not doing well with new people being the main ones.

And eventually, I decided to add another little piece of her character - she may be a brilliant scientist, but she's so stupid with love and emotions. It's bleedingly obvious that Donnie loves and adores her - but she's too oblivious to see it, not believing anyone when they tell her and not noticing if he's staring at her or smiling a lot more. This gave me quite a bit to work with, and it allowed me to develop both April's and Donnie's characters - she's a matchmaker when it comes to them, and instead of being hopelessly in love with her and just wishing that she would feel the same (like canon 2012 Donnie can be at times 😒), he's more complex with his feelings - he wishes that he could tell her how he feels and is fearful of her rejecting him, but is mature enough to know that if she wants to be friends, that's more than fine with him - he cares about her and wants to be there for her, friend or girlfriend.

Knicks

Fandom: TMNT 2016

Summary: While walking your German Shepherd Crimson, you come across a puppy in the alley, so you take it home and surprise your brothers.

Characters: Leo, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Splinter and April.

No Pairings. All affection is platonic.

SIDENOTE: I know nothing about basketball so if I got anything wrong feel free to correct please.

“Crimson! Here boy! Time for a walk.” You call out in your apartment, hearing the familiar paws sprinting across the living room you see your dog tail wagging and tongue sticking out, run up to you excitedly.

“Good boy.” You laugh as he licks your cheek leaving slobber all over it.

Your phone pinged from its spot on your dresser, you picked it up, unlocked it and saw it was Raph.

R: We still on for coming over for the game tonight?

You: Yep, I can’t wait.

You smile as you pocket your phone, grabbing Crimsons leash you both walk out the door down to the busy street.

As usual it was a busy day in NYC, vendors selling food, people walking frantically to work.

As you came up to an alleyway you usually passed everyday, you heard yelping from it. It sounded like a puppy, upon closer inspection you see a little Bernese mountain puppy sitting in a box all alone.

“Hey buddy, are you alone? I wonder who left you here.” You decided to take it home and care for it since it seemed like no one else cared about it, I don’t think they even know this puppy exists.

You carry it home with your other K9 curious as to what your doing with the puppy in your arms.

“What should I name you?” You pondered, you remember going to a basketball game with the boys, while sitting up in the jumbotron you saw the New York Knicks were taking lead in the game, 8-2.

“Knicks! I’ll name you Knicks.” You smile at the puppy who gives loving licks in your face.

As you were about to feed the pup your phone rang, picking it up from its place on the bed, you answered, “hello?”

“Hey y/n we’re still on for tonight’s game right?” Leo’s voice responds from the front other side.

“Yep and I have a surprise for you all.” You smile as you set Knicks down.

“Oh? What is it?” You can practically see the smirk on his face.

“I can’t tell you otherwise it’s not a surprise you goof.” You laugh, hanging up.

*Timeskip*

You kept both dogs in your room until you were ready to reveal Knicks.

“Hey y/n, Leo said you had a surprise for us?” Donnie speaks from his spot on the couch next to Leo.

“Okay, you all know I already have Crimson but I couldn’t pass up this little guy when I saw his living conditions so…” you open your bedroom door, out comes Crimson with Knicks right behind him.

“Everyone meet Knicks.” You smile as the puppy runs up to Mikey covering him in slobbery kisses.

Raph gently takes the pup from Mikey’s hands and holds it up, as Knicks barks and squirms in his hold, Raph lets out an oof when the pup jumps out of his grasp.

“He’s quite the guy, could be fighter material.” Raph nods, “we aren’t making Knicks a fighting dog, he’s a sweet boy and that’s all he’ll ever be.” You put your hands on your hips with a slight scowl.

“So, did you name him after our favorite basketball team?” Mikey asks, you nod.

“Figured it suited him best and he made me think of that time in the Jumbotron, when I got him.” You pet Knicks’s head.

The rest of the night was spent watching the game but also playing with the puppy during commercials and halftime which was when you quickly took him outside to use the bathroom.

As the night went on, you were curled up between Donnie and Leo with Knicks in your lap.

The boys smiled, Donnie grabbed a blanket and covered you and the pup, before gently laying a kiss to your forehead.
