prince!sukuna's change in demeanor would creep up on you. he's made it clear he's not interested, so you try your best to steer clear of him.

but he watches you from afar. he hears whispers of your benevolent nature, regardless of whether you're interacting with the royal court or the common folk.

even if you avoid him, you still treat him cordially when duty demands you share one another's company. his wickedness is well known, and yet, it doesn't deter you.

he admires that. though it's a secret, even to himself.

one night as you share your evening meal together, a generally new occurrence, small talk passes between the two of you.

when there's a lull in the conversation, you point out. "you're different now."

this confuses him. "because i inquired as to whether you like the duck?"

you nod, doing little to hide the tug at the corner of your mouth. "three moons ago, you'd have been happy to see me choke on it."

"that's... not true."

"oh? were your sharp remarks meant to convey your fond regard for me?"

ok ok HEAR ME OUT‼️ i know that the poll for your jaime fic has been decided and the casterly rock au lost…. but what if we potentially got a few headcannons for it?!?!? like maybe a little blurb…. a few hundred words abt bitter wolf going stir-crazy not knowing where her nieces are or her and jaime finding a genuine routine of just being with each other. his only request being that they eat meals together so she cant isolate herself. GGGIOIDDDD I LOVE THEM

this au would happen given oberyn never dies, tyrion then wins his trial, and tywin lives. it's a very big chain of events branching from canon haha that's the beauty of grrm's universe, one little thing changed and the entirety of the story is altered!

onto the actual jaime/bw headcanons:

bw is completely restless in the castle, she's unable to sit still and is very irritable at everything (southern culture is always grating her the wrong way)

she tells jaime she misses home all the time, and his eyes would soften as he listens to her stories about her siblings (bw takes care to avoid talking about ned)

she goes horseriding often and jaime always follows - both because he's afraid she'll try to run away on her own and because he wants to spend time with her

getting married to jaime does have political advantages for bw: she would definitely use the support of jaime/tywin to her advantage and send more cavalries searching for arya and sansa.

bitter wolf is also negotiating retaking winterfell from the boltons; she would have tywin's agreement given a lannister heir becomes warden of the north, and obviously most of the north wants to see a (true) stark back in winterfell. winterfell would definitely be hers for the taking.

but the negotiating and planning takes many moons, and bw is stuck in casterly rock until then

bw tries to find ways to find and get in touch with brienne who they sent off months and months ago looking for sansa, and would ask jaime for his help in doing so

jaime finds himself practicing calling bw his wife when he's alone, but he never ends up actually calling her that. to him it feels like it demeans her - she feels like something more than his wife. after all, before a few moons ago, she wasn't his wife at all

their marriage remains unconsummated for several moons and jaime never pressures her to do anything she doesn't want to

in fact, they slept in separate chambers for a long while. it was only when they began to stay up late at night together, telling each other stories of old did they end up accidentally falling asleep together

jaime likes to watch her sleep, as creepy as that sounds HAHA he likes to watch how soft her features get when she rests, it makes her look so much younger

they're sooo skittish around one another during the first few weeks of their marriage, like they both want each other's cookie so bad but neither really says anything about it HAHAHA

one night jaime just caves and kisses her, fully expecting a slap to the face... and she does push him away out of shock, just a little startled shove... but she pulls him back just as quick to kiss him again

jaime makes bw read over his letters to tyrion on the wall before sending them to make sure he hasn't made any mistakes (yes bcs he's dyslexic but also bcs it gives him an excuse to talk to bw!)

cersei is unable to visit due to her duties (or her delusions of duties) to the crown but trust that she's absolutely SEETHINGGGG that jaime "betrayed" her

she's definitely fantasizing about ways of having bw murdered

bw spends a lot of time in the godswood. not because she's particularly religious, but just because it's one of the only parts of northern culture she still has to herself :( it's something they can't take away from her :(

jaime would have a new longbow made for bw, watches her practice shooting :( she tries to show him how to shoot properly, but his golden hand makes it awfully hard

bw would definitely convince jaime to get rid of the golden hand and use something more practical and less heavy

though bw isn't good with close combat or swordsmanship, she offers to spar with jaime completely knowing he could best her even with his missing hand - she also wants an excuse to get close to him

the topic of having heirs is something jaime randomly brings up over breakfast one day and this 100% freaks bw out a little bit and jaime picks up on it and quickly changes the subject

he wouldn't bring it up again until bw mentions it herself a few days later - tywin wants an heir (specifically a male heir) to become warden in the north. she tells jaime that by right, winterfell belongs to sansa now, regardless of whether you have children or not, and the priority should be finding sansa, which they still haven't

so jaime's take away from that convo 1) sending more guards to look for sansa and 2) having a child is somewhat (?) still on the table

communication abt important matters really isn't their forte LMFAOO

nonetheless jaime is always treating her with so much patience and respect :( even when bw has her angry outbursts

tells her that he would have wanted to marry her whether or not he struck the deal with tywin

bw pretends like his words don't affect her, but her heart is racing a mile a minute

ugh i love these two to bits and pieces! writing up these hcs were so fun :(

The reason why I asked people to not use these design bits (on their Chance designs specifically, btw) is because in the past, others would consistently scrape personal redesign choices for characters from me and utilize them in things that made me deeply uncomfortable. This bit of my Chance design says 'they keep their heart on their sleeve if you look close enough', which means a lot to me.

I also literally don't like homestuck, and haven't read it.

Hi hi hi, hello, you were one of the first people I thought to tell about this so, I have DID and sometimes the Little part of the braincase has dreams when I sleep, and he recently had (in his definition) the best dream EVER where he was adopted by Steve and Bucky and they went grocery shopping, and he was having the best day ever cuz he specifically saw a bag of his favorite chocolate and ran over to Bucky and holding it up like "DADDY DADDY DADDY, PLEASE???"

And then Bucky picked him up with the chocolate and set him in the cart while Steve just smiled about it all. The Little One was so excited!!

Steve turned to look at you in the backseat with an adoring smile on his face. You looked too cute all buckled up, absentmindedly toying with your dino plush’s tail. You and your green friend came as a package deal these days. Steve loved it to the point where he took his sewing kit out of storage and set to remembering all the skills his Ma taught him, so that he could make some clothes for your favorite little sidekick. Today, he was dressed in overalls: a very practical outfit for your trip to the grocery store. 

“Are you and Ducky going to help me figure out what to make for dinner tonight?” he asked.

You nodded enthusiastically. 

Once the car was parked, Bucky helped you out of your car seat while Steve retrieved the reusable grocery bags. Your baba carried you into the store, as this was a busy parking lot and he felt safer having you in his or Steve’s arms. You had originally planned on walking through the store instead of sitting in a shopping cart, but that changed when you saw the cart that looked like a racecar. It functioned like a normal shopping cart, but it had been upgraded with an outer shell of plastic that almost made it resemble Lightning McQueen. A steering wheel placed in the front and flame decals on the sides completed the illusion. 

Bucky didn’t even have to ask if you wanted to ride in it. He smiled at your excited gasp and awestruck gaze. Never wanting to miss a chance to indulge you, he made a beeline for the novel vehicle. He gently set you inside, kissing the top of your head before he rounded the back of the false car and pushed it into the store.

“Baba, Dada, look!” 

You showed them the steering wheel. It actually spun around just like the real thing! You couldn’t actually control the cart with it, but you didn’t mind. It was way more fun to practice crazy drifts than to slowly navigate the narrow aisles of the grocery store. 

Steve leaned over, demonstrating the functional horn on the steering wheel. It was more like a muffled squeak toy, which was all the better for you because you could keep ‘honking the horn’ without drawing attention from the other customers. Ducky liked honking the horn too, but as always, your dinosaur was more comfortable resting on your lap. 

You had a blast “racing” through the grocery store. Bucky played along, making some of the turns into new aisles more dramatic than they needed to be. Steve too joined in on the fun. He played the role of drive through employee while asking for your opinion on foods. 

Your Dada mimicked talking into a headset with a silly voice. “Hi, welcome to Rogers’ Kitchen. Can I put you down for a bag of grapes or apples?”

“Apples!” you exclaimed, clapping your hands. 

“Second window, that’ll be one kiss.”

He set the fruit down behind you and held his cheek out expectantly. You giggled, giving him a sloppy peck before “driving” away. 

Your dada also became your pit crew when a turn into the snack aisle caused a few small items to slip through the grates of the shopping cart. 

While Steve excused himself to find your favorite crackers, Bucky noticed how untidy the cart had gotten and decided to fix the mess.

“Hang on, baby. Baba’s gonna take you out so I can move some things.” 

Bucky plucked you out of the cart, setting you down so he could make your chariot more organized and comfortable. While you stood in the aisle, a package of your favorite candy called out to you. You grabbed the bag with the hand that wasn’t holding Ducky and toddled back to your caregiver. 

“Baba! Baba look!” you shouted excitedly, holding the treats aloft. 

“Wow! Those sure look good,” he grinned.

“Can I get them, Baba? Please!”

Bucky pretended to think about it for a moment, then all of a sudden he was lifting you, Ducky, and the bag of chocolates into the cart. You giggled like mad the entire time, complementing Steve’s chuckles as he witnessed the interaction.

omg hi! yes i do read a lot of fics, and it’s no bother! to answer your question about north by aelescribe the mcd tag is actually about thalia but also just for warning jasico dont actually get together by the end of it, they want to but they also need time to heal etc!

Not sure! It really comes down to whichever story comes to my head first and which RO suits it best! I can be working on one RO one day and then get stumped and end up writing the entire thing for another RO the next day haha

I will say that LA won't get one because nobody has met them yet and that's kinda weird to me, I kinda need to write them in the demo interacting with MC for me to really get a handle on who they are :.)

Felassan - some random reactions: [one, two, three]. I was sooo excited and shook to see Felassan in the game!! I yelped/hooted out loud like a clown (...) and then it was kind of overwhelming (in a good way). and then it took me quite some time to process or gather my thoughts about it. I was sure that there would at least be some references to him in codexes/notes etc or allusions made in passing dialogue like Cole and Solas’ lines about him in Trespasser. then when the marketing mentioned that we would see flashbacks from Solas’ past in the Crossroads, I was like aaa omg, wouldn’t that be the perfect time to actually show Felassan??, as a Fade memory or flashback or spirit echo or something. so I was hoping like🕯️🕯️ but still wasn't prepared to see him as a voiced in-game model, or for the amount of content relating to him (all those codexes and notes etc) that there was.

Slaughter of the Pillars - the Pillars of the Earth are the Titans. (“Hail Mythal, adjudicator and savior! She has struck down the pillars of the earth and rendered their demesne unto the People! Praise her name forever!”) That undead boss embodies one of Solas’ greatest regrets, what he and Mythal did to the Titans during the war with them - sundering every Titan from their spirit, severing them from their dreams, which resulted in the Blight as the dreams were driven mad. it also in a sense broke the dwarves in two and caused the fall of the fate of the dwarven people. Beyond the mural-memory that pertains to this in DA:TV, there are depictions of this time in the ancient past in the DA:TV artbook: [one, two]. Annotations there describe Solas rendering the Titans tranquil and capturing their souls; dwarves as a consequence then losing their connection to magic and fleeing into the now-Tranquil earth; and the Evanuris then building Elvhenan using the power of the captured Titan souls.

How big would the gestalt be if they Did combine though. Fuck a dragonfly (vortex) and a moth (swindle) don’t seem like a bad combo but what are the other 3 (onslaught/blastoff/brawl).

I thought I just had to deal with swindle stealing my valuables and maybe eating my more expensive fabrics and maybe walking in on vortex doing degenerate bug stuff on his own or with the little red and white bug he brings.

If I see some shin to knee high bug in my house I’d have punt that thing so hard metal be damned. The broken/sprained foot would be justified to me.
