#also no he doesn't want to experience life as a normal person. no he wouldn't sacrifice his powers to live again.#he LOVED being powerful. he was very proud of his powers. he was at the top of the world. what he disliked was being so lonely at the top.#which having reunited with Geto now he is not.#and he wanted to keep the next generation safe due to his past regrets and teach a generation of kids to be at the top together.#and he wanted to get rid of the corrupt higher-ups and reform the Jujutsu society.#and he did all of that. You cannot be a perfectionist'.#Right now - posting these slightly upgraded frames is really helping me stay motivated through the learning grind.#But progress is happening! I'm so excited to show it off when it's done!#Someone with a very discerning eye might be able to figure out what I'm doing with just this one frame. I will take the risk.#That aside; I often think about how the nature of cultivators in MDZS's world also entailed knowing about other art forms.#Meaning that Wen Qing and Wen Ning likely were good musicians and artists.#We know WWX is also good in art and music so...really...what was stopping them from forming a band?#Allow me to pitch this AU: Yiling Opera company AU. WWX and the Wen remnants form a performing trope and tour towns and cities.#Not only do they find a way to keep on the move (no home...only the road and the people around you).#But you also get to be in costume - which is a socially appropriate way to always be in disguise.#Yiling Laozu would thus be a character and/or WWX's stage name.#Would he be good at keeping it a secret? Hard to say with WWX! I think it would be a poorly-kept secret at best.#He likes to brag and show off a bit too much. This many would be either the worst or best spy.#Consider the drama of JC losing his mind over his ex-brother becoming a clown. Imagine JC Getting his ass kicked by said clown.#Imagine the delectable secret identity drama potential of Lan Wangji stumbling upon the trope's performances.#We did not get nearly enough of the secret identiy drama in MDZS canon. I need more of it.#I need that man conflicted with his feelings for the same person. I need them playing mind games with each other at all times.

fortunately, not cancer!! unfortunately, a different (incurable) disease 🥲
not particularly lethal, thank goodness, but... not particularly easy to live with either. anyhow, thank you very, VERY much to everyone who sent well wishes, i really appreciate it ♡

I think one of my favorite little details about spike's character is how he treated drusilla. he wasn't just "patient" with her disability, he actively treated it as just another thing about her to love. he verry rarely coddled her or tried to get her to be more present in a situation when she wasn't capable. (I can't think of a single time that he did but i feel like there were some when he was already upset at other people?). he learned to understand what she was saying even when it sounded like nonsense. when she was upset he comforted her, no matter how often it happened. when she started dancing he danced with her.
and we see in buffy 5x20 that it wasn't just his love for dru that made him act like that. when tara was incoherent and opened the window in the van, he didn't just immediately forgive her for burning him, he never got upset in the first place. he yelled, of course, because he was hurt, but as soon as willow started apologizing and trying to explain he just nodded. because it's no biggie! he already understands. some people are just like that, and he doesn't see accommodating that as the big deal that the people around him are making it out to be.
#I've just been thinking about this a lot#it's such a small trait but it's consistent and I love it so much#i find it interesting when people call him a sociopath because I think it's clear that he always cared about people.#like he changed when he died. obviously. he lost his soul and killed for fun. but I think it was less of a complete disregard for people#and more of just making the very best of what he had to do.#it's even obvious when he tells buffy about the slayers that he killed.#it was a sport. he was hunting and having fun. but he was also thinking about their experiences#because every slayer has a deathwish! his actions weren't noble in any way but it's like he was trying to justify them to himself#even when he was supposedly a cold blooded killer with no empathy.#losing his soul didn't stop him from being the sensitive loser poet. he had to purposefully beat that out of himself#and thats why he didn't need a soul to start his whole redemption arc. it was all there already.#that got so off topic but whatever. all of it evidenced by the fact that he was so good at accommodating people#thank you and good night#spike btvs#hey this animal can talk

my attempt at making a fursona

The Death of Wei Wuxian.

#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#wei wuxian#yin tiger tally#'Death by radish related reasons' was the unexpected - but very welcome - winner!#I had a lot of fun coming up with a silly radish related reason that could have fit within canon.#Posing these action shots was a whole other challenge though! I had so many different versions get scrapped! AH!#The original intention was to make this a bonus ep in PD-MDZS but we kind of...don't come back to this topic.#So it is an aside! And I love making follow up comics for polls!#A huge bummer that this is the only time I ever got to show off my Yin Tiger Tally design...To me it was like a funny little bug creature.#And now it is forever broken...Broke ass bug...#And of course it is artsy and decorated with a tassel. WWX has an artist's eye.#His science experiment *will* look rad as hell and be nearly indestructible.#Speaking of designs - I chickened out of showing off my real headcanon design for the end of YLLZ era. After doing some research on the types of pets people had in ancient Greece, I'd like to imagine that Helen is the sort of person who has a whole menagerie of birds — and she loves each and every one of them very, very much.
It fits well with her being good at mimicry, you know. Talking and imitating and singing with her beloved birds 💜

Once I got a bit experimentative it really came together. I'm happy with the outcome! ^w^#choosing what birds and how many was a challenge... in my mind Helen has dozens of birds and all sorts of species. truly a crazy bird lady.#but I decided to focus on a few for this. maybe another time i'll make a piece with a ridiculous amount of birds for fun >:) hehe#I cant remember the source but I know I read somewhere that people would specifically train magpies to say hello/greet guests#and I love that little factoid (and love magpies very much) so that was an immediate choice for me to feature here.#I also love doves and goldfinches. goldfinches sound so delightful and stand out so they were my 'songbird' choice.#and I'd like to imagine that one specific dove snuggles up on helen's shoulder all the time <3#the only bird that's truly missing here is an indian ringneck parrot (which I initially wanted to put on the shoulder but changed my mind)#so if you're like me and watch too many parrot videos. just know helen has one of them that can't stop talking and posing lmao#capri_art
