Hc that the traveler has stars/constellation floating around them whenever they cry or experience intense/overwhelming emotions

Ignore how messy this is I cant visualize it well💔

#they usually keep to themselves and present as somewhat stoic or off on their own world #but there are some instances that can bring the traveler to show a strong reaction #and whenever that happens tiny bits of stardust appear around them especially around their eyes #its more visible when crying since their tears turn/evaporate (it looks like it evaporates) into stars #some results may vary depending on the emotion; if its positive then small trinkles of starlight can be seen around them #but if negative the stardust seen is more opaque glowing an intense golden hue similar to their eye color #they aren't very much aware when this happens so if someone points it out they get embarrassed and try to act cool or stiff about it (#(loser traveler)#genshinimpact #traveler genshin impact #aether genshinimpact #lumine genshinimpact #why am i doing this in the tags #yapping

Mondrian and Idka in the refugee ship hold. Not pictured, 1600 baselines pressed against each other doing everything they can to be at least 10 meters away from these guys. As the weeks-long journey progresses, they get humanised, but never non-scary.

Mondrian would be wearing his helmet here, but i wanted to show you his face so just pretend it's on. Idka gets sick in the warp so his would actually be off. They have powered down their armor to dodge auspex scans, and spend as much time as possible sleeping in shifts to conserve calories and make the ration bars last the full trip. If one of them goes into starvation triggered suspended animation, that would be BAD. if it comes to it, Mondrian will halve his own rations and start eating baselines, but he would prefer not to.

Idka's face helps humanizing them to the refugees. He looks younger than 30, not so different from the boys conscripted from these people's families. He's just, so big. and terrifying.

Mondrian isn't ready to think of himself as a renegade, or a refugee, just yet. They are still Black Templars. he is still a chaplain. he has to be.

Nautica is like a puffin if you think about it

Versatile bird that can swim, fly, and go on land. Heavy bones are like metal and I'm pretty sure Nautica can also catch fish with her mouth if she tried hard enough- Silly, sociable, she probably likes birds? Also limited space flight is kinda equivalent to how puffins need to put in extra effort into flying since they have shorter wings

tbh I couldn’t for the life of me pick a color palette I liked And Render it so I gave up on color. Enjoy the half assery.

Tbh I’ve just been call it Ithacan Naga, but it’s objectively it’s a mix of snake, owl/bird, and human. So 🤷.

Tbh the wings are supposed to be white/gray-brown, cause owls & Hermes, while his scales are supposed to be an oscillating scale from sea green-blue to purple-tinted gray. Uhm. Evidently that sorta didn’t happen but also did. So.

The purple/grayer scales are gonna be more around with the feathers and wings.

Those fin colors are. Too blue and too bright but I love the colors themselves so they’re staying for now.

Uhm. That’s it for now, ig. I’m sorta on a timer rn and I’m tired so <3

tbh I think a good way to view tales from the pizzaplex is that it's in addition to and not instead of

#meaning that the book story is additional to the game story so it has a chance to actually be fleshed out and detailed #when they couldnt get to the same level of detail even if they tried in the games #like they couldnt have made a game showing mimic living with edwin and david and their interactions and stuff #and the tagline 'if you've read the books you dont know the full story'#in addition to not instead of #and i think a great way to show that this isnt a bad thing is ggy #ggy the book enhances ggy as a storyline soo much its crazy #it makes it feel so much more rich and makes ggy feel genuinely threatening and interesting #and fleshes him out more making him actively very different from vanny visibly in his story and plot and role in everything #and yet theres still so much left to cover with him that they have plenty to do in the games #idk i think months/years ago it was a different ballpark but now that rheres more info #+ they're actively showing drive to explain and reveal things in the games and make them more rich at the same fime #so things arent locked behind paywalls and hours of read time #its not nearly as bad and condemning as it felt before #i think theres still the thing of 'plotline revealed in book that only a small percentage of fandom knows about #so the new content and interesting concept is barely explored in the book itself but also in the fanbase bc the recieval is so small #and underwhelming #and these plotlines will take years to be explored in the games #but you already know about them so it isnt as connected with the rest of the fanbase as you'd like'#i think thats definitely a thing but it depends #that's why i felt tired abt escape the pizzaplex bc it was like great nothing was progressed and now theres another setup #that we have to wait for again to be talked about in the games #when theres already stuff piled up #pandas.txt #thoughts #discourse

Hey y'all! Do you have any patterns/resources/advice on sewing corsets/bodices/stays/stuff like that? I have once again reached the "wow I hate bras and bra shopping" point of the "having to replace clothes as they wear out" cycle

#the person behind the yarn #part of my problem is that I am an optical illusion of a human person #by which I mean all my measurement ratios are weird but none of it is visible #fun fact! my head circumference is the exact same as my cousin who is more than a foot taller than me #he is a wall of muscle! very large guy and our heads are the same size. They don't look it though!#the relevant weird measurements here are that I have a fairly small band size #but I can't actually wear my correct band size #because my torso is too narrow from side to side #I've got a barrel chest in miniature lol and the large cup size Does Not Help #so if I wear my correct band size the cups are too wide from side to side and dig into my armpits and/or ribs #which means I have to size down and use a back extender thing and have the straps always falling down #and at this point I just want something that won't mess up my back or my ribs #because once you dislocate a rib once you are more likely to dislocate it again. which is just lovely.

#they die a lot #ok small rant but do you know how hard it is for me to understand the undo button?#I carve eggs. EGGS.#my primary form of art for years has been on something that's very breakable- but also every stroke I make is completely irreversible #I can't erase a layer of eggshell I carved and I can't cover it up or like. add more eggshell on top of it fhcjdhxudjd #same with etching glass- I can't undo anything there #the closest I've gotten to an erase button before is carving rocks- which you can't take back a stroke but won't really be visible #unless it's really deep and intentional #and I can erase pencils if I sketch it out on an egg first #but other than that it's just. if I make a stroke in art in my mind it's there permanently because there's no going back #If my drill skids across an eggshell while I'm doing it I change the entire design to accommodate that and make the mark look intentional #so this undo button thing makes no sense to me!! If I make a mistake should I not just keep going??? and find ways to work around it #because that's what I have to do with eggs #Also there's layers- and doing layers in digital art is actually easy for me to grasp because I've carved emu eggs #(emu eggs have different tiny layers of colour I can carve through)#but the undo button can die by my blade #like the kings of hyrule to gavondoofies. yes.#personal #lol????

it is rainy season out here and so we have many many lil wor looking larvae hatiching all over the place, and the thing is, they look a lot like tma canon typical worms, kinda silvery-blackish things (tho probably much much smaller) but yeah, i had one in my computer keyboard (fell thru the gap in the keys) and i had to take it out and i, very much disgusted, asked the air "jane, was this you? why the keyboard?"
