Bisan is calling for another global strike!

I saw some posts just outlining Jan 21st, and wanted to clarify that Bisan has called for a full seven days of action.

What a global strike would look like is:

calling in sick to work

purchasing bare essentials ahead of the week so you can observe the general boycott of goods / buying as little as you genuinely can

putting in a concerted effort to elevate Palestinian voices and make it clear that this strike is in support of a permanent ceasefire!

For those who will have to purchase necessary goods during this time, please observe the brands that the BDS movement is asking us to boycott!

though you do feel a tad weird, it doesn't come off as condescending. just a pang of insecurity sweeping over at your lack of experience, how even now you're still that little kid.

Logan's bones are made of metal, right? And while adamantium is a fictional element, metals tend to follow a set of properties.

One primary property is that the majority of metals are conductors. This is reinforced in The Wolverine movie wherein the adamantium sword conducts heat extremely well to be able to cut off Logan's claws.

Therefore, Logan's bones are conductors (for both heat and electricity).

Most human bones (like Wade's) are insulators. This makes bones more resistant to electricity as compared to the rest of the human body, which is an electrical conductor because it's composed of water and ions.

I know the dark matter is different, but from how we see it flow through the veins and transfer we can assume it's conducted as well.

THEREFORE, THE REASON LOGAN WAS ABLE TO ALMOST INSTANTLY FORGE THE CONNECTION WAS BECAUSE HIS BONES CONDUCTED THE ELECTRICITY EASILY. AND IT WOULD ALSO MEAN THAT HIS PAIN WOULD BE SIGNIFICANTLY WORSE THAN WADE'S. BECAUSE HE LITERALLY FEELS IT RUNNING THROUGH HIS BONES, JITTERING HIS VERY SKELETON?? BUT HE STILL KEPT HOLDING ON JUST TO SAVE WADE.

Also, this means that his bones would retain heat. If he sits in front of the fire and gets heated up, he'd feel it in his bones. This means the human heater headcanons are 100% true, because he'd literally be hot metal wrapping around Wade if he's kept warm.

Inversely, however, this would mean his bones become cold due to a lack of heat. Metal oftentimes expands in hot conditions and contracts in cold conditions (which is why they leave gaps between train tracks to accommodate for this without them breaking).

So Logan would 100% get aches with cold weather because even if his body was more resistant, he can feel the chill in his bones and how they don't sit quite right and everything is too stiff and doesn't fit. (And Wade would need to heat him up instead because of this.)

Plus his thermal regulation would be compromised because it seeps into his bones instead of just his flesh. Imagine you get in front of a fan and your skin feels cool but your bones are hot. Logan would be temperature-sensitive, but he'd try to hide it because he's used to it (having lived in the mountains for years) and doesn't know what to do. (And so when Wade comes along and cares and tries to help him regulate, he nearly chokes up because it's so much easier to cope.)

the way clara bow is written both with the optimism she once had and the hindsight she has now, layering both often at the same time. you'd be picked like a rose both in how in the moment she felt beautiful, chosen as the most beautiful one adored by all, but she knows now that cutting her stem froze her as she was, never allowed to grow further, only slowly fading until she's a dried, dull husk of what she once was, pressed between the pages of someone else's book. also the crown is stained but you're the real queen both in how she felt holier than thou once crowned, and the mistakes of the fallen monarchs were markers of their own unworthiness but she is the real queen; she is different because she is pure and true and deserves it. but writing it now, she knows that the crown was stained not just from previous owners, but with blood shed by her own hands, and how it will never be scrubbed clean because of horrors she had to endure to get it that she will never entirely suppress and what she will have have to continue to do to keep it. however my favorite is I'm not trying to exaggerate but I think I might die if it happened to me... Die if I made it.... both in how as a young dreamer she felt so small and it felt so impossible, the shock of knowing she would achieve fame and fortune would nearly kill her. but she knows now the grim truth in what was once hyperbolic, how when it did happen, the breaks didn't come gently and the beast that is beauty tore her to shreds. parts of her at least, and perhaps the most significantly that little dreamer who scribbled that unintended prophecy in her diary decades ago. she made it and slowly and brutally and quietly without fanfare, she died. it harkens back to the lucky one, when she was just embarking on her rocket to fame and fortune, and she pondered another name goes up in lights. You wonder if you'll make it out alive. clara bow seems to answer that question with no, you won't, but nobody before you made it out alive either, not fully, not whole. the machine grinds ever on and on and there was never any other way.

Haymitch is Maysilee's brother and she and Lenore Dove still bicker and Haymitch thinks it's funny.
