“I don’t know. I can start with that captain of yours. Jenna, right?” He raises a brow, considering another option as his grip on you tightens slightly. “After that, I’ll file one with you.”

“Me?” you chuckle. “Yes. I’ve decided it’s unacceptable for you to be on such long missions.”

He steps inside his room, kicks the door closed with one foot, and barely sets you down before his lips crash against yours. They move desperately, his tongue sliding against your bottom lip like he needs to taste the days you’ve been gone.
