The HC/Fic Ideas List

Hetty is autistic - like really autistic. She is very sensory seeking, she likes her corset it gives her the good pressure,

Special interests: Gilbert & Sullivan, wax flowers (they’re somewhere in the house), embroidery, crochet (I’m based).

Outward signs: The T-Rex arms, easily overwhelmed, echolalia.

Stims: Crochet (when she was alive), singing (some of the Ghosts are very tired of “I am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General”), talking w/ her hands.

Bad Feelings: Being touched first, sack cloth (the occasional hug from Nancy is an exception), ringing phones, loud knocking, people yelling.

Hetty could see all of the ghosts. She remembers Gordon the most, but has faint memories of Firefly, Ruffles, Patty, and Nanny.

When Sam announces that she’s pregnant all of Ghosts are saying that she should name the baby after one of them - except Hetty. When Sam comes home from the hospital Hetty is the first person she tells the name to - Henrietta Champa Arondekar. They’re going to call her Henri.

Stephanie called Hetty ‘Mom’ when she was being put to bed after “I Know What You Did Thirty-Seven Summers Ago”. Stephanie was stoned out of her mind and doesn’t remember, but it meant everything to Hetty. Trevor held her while she cried.

Alberta/Pete/Trevor/Hetty polycule. It’s sickeningly cute. Alberta/Pete are requited love. Tretie are an adorable pile of golden retriever bi boy energy. Albetty the snarky judgement is really. Thor will have bad nights when he needs to hold someone. Preferred options are Flower, Hetty, Trevor, Pete. He’s really cuddly.

Age Regression - Hetty is suddenly physically 5. It’s adorable, until it isn’t. The others thought tiny Hetty would be all cuteness, she is an adorable little girl bright blue and bouncy red curls, but she is a small child who’s world is now very different than what she was used to. She cries for hours, Thor holds her and sings until she falls asleep. They try to rotate who she sleeps with, but that is easier said than done. They can’t put her down - Hetty+ground=tears. Thor, Sass, Patience, and Nancy take turns carrying her. Isaac does not know what to do with a baby and tiny Hetty has never seen Alberta, Flower, Pete, or Trevor. Sam and Jay haven’t slept in days, turns out tiny Hetty has nothing against the Irish and can be seen all the time (Jay sees tiny Hetty floating through the air when one of the older ghosts was carrying her, that almost broke him). The biggest problem is hiding her from the guests. Luckily they find that like all other small children she loves television. They have only watched Bluey, Thomas the Tank Engine (model series), and the Wiggles for weeks. Sass is so far behind on It’s Getting Hot in Here. There are a few people they can’t really hide her from like Bela, who loves tiny Hetty, she’s been waiting on a nibling for years and like magic here is an adorable little girl. Hetty’s temper tantrums were legendary when she was an adult, but at 5? The pouting, the tears? Thor has a backbone made of Jell-o, whatever his little princess wants she gets. As the only father who was alive for those tiny human years Pete is disappointed in the Viking. Hetty finally turns back and has no memory of having been turned into a child. Life goes back to normal and then one night at 2am Jay hears tiny Hetty’s giggle.

Trevor wants to propose to Hetty, so he reads up on Gilded Age etiquette and realizes that he’s supposed to ask her father’s permission. Samuel is dead and was never really a good dad, so he asks Thor. Thor tells him he must court her properly - gifts and poems (he would demand cod, but Trevor can’t go fishing). Poems he figured out, turns out Hetty really likes Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift. Gifts that takes a little bit more work, but Trevor has a job - he buys her a television, the Bodices & Barons boxset, and an iPad for their bedroom (it works as a digital remote for their television touch screen is easier to use compared to a regular remote, also all the naughty novels Hetty could ever want to read {kidnapped from binina}).

High School Rivals AU - A friend of mine and I came up with this H$ high school plot where they're rivals(he's on a bunch of sports teams and she's got every academic group on lock) and don't care for each other but then the last year, Hetty needs a good grade in gym in order to keep her perfect 4.0 and he needs a good grade in english to have good enough grades to get into UPenn so they strike a deal to help each other. Suddenly they're spending all their time together and they're NOT dating but then Hetty meets Esther, who basically adopts Hetty because Samuel is low-key abusive and absent and then Hetty's at his house ALL the time. {@tabbyofwisdom}

Now here's something of interest, here at Woodstone we have a secret underground vault! It was constructed in the 1890s by Elias Woodstone, no doubt to hold all the Woodstone family riches.

A christmas present from Monni: A christmas present from Monni is a series of 6 works I decided to refurbish like three or four days ahead of christmas 2024 from an old (toxic AF) fandom I was in so that I could reupload them & feel proud of them again. I loved the premises & the writing itself, just not so much the fandom I wrote them for. It's ~120,000 words, of mostly smut, in total with four Marble Hornets fics and 2 Everyman HYBRID Fics!

Mapping the Social & Biological Landscapes of the Omegaverse: Mapping the Social & Biological Landscapes of the Omegaverse is a little (very not little it's 50 thousand words) pretend research paper I wrote about my design for the Omegaverse. It started out as just a list of my personal headcanons so i could have a feeling of consistancy in any omegaverse fics I wrote, and spiralled violently out of my control, becoming a monstrosity.

Sorry, It's Locked: A (200k word) series of fics called Sorry, It's Locked. S,IL follows Jay's unhealthy past relationship with Alex, & his new (healthier but still not ideal) relationship with Tim. It has plenty of angst, smut & a good bit of fluff to make up for it. All my posts about S,IL are under #mh sorry its locked. General postcanon stuff (including a lot of "everyone lives" au's of S,IL) is under #pretty girl propaganda au. it's mostly various au's full of propaganda for why Jay should live & transition into the woman she was always meant to be (Lark, my beloved), as well as usually including Birdie, (Tim & Jay's daughter), & Jesse, (Tim & Brian's son)! The #Tim & Tyler tag contains posts about Masky (and some other alters in Tim's system) in the S,IL universe (Tyler is S,IL Masky, a little in Tim's system). #SIL Larklex is the tag to avoid if you don't wanna see talk about a PGPau version where Alex gets redeemed too. I will Publish the Third Chapter of The Forest from the Trees, but Some Announcements first.

I will publish the third chapter of The Forest from the Trees, but having the chance to see some scenes and reading about A Strange Way of Life, I am revamping this fic a little bit. For instance, I want to revamp the prologue a bit, about two men who had a lot in common finding each other. I have also been toying with the idea of changing to first person narrative, with switching perspective between Silas and Silva, but I struggle with the whole "show, don't tell" thing.

There had been two ideas I had with this fic (other than of course, Fassy and Pedro). The first one was giving Silva a happier ending; a second chance at love with someone with similar pains and struggles as him. With another man of course. The second has to do with Silas Selleck from Slow West. Silas always struck me as a heavily gay-codded man. Yes, in Slow West it was implied that he ended up with Rose, but this looked more like a comphet/A debt to Jay and/or Rose than love. The fact that there were adopted children and no baby (the baby appears only in Jay's dream) leaves it open for Silas to be interpreted as a gay man fulfilling a duty. I also wanted to give Silas a happy queer ending. I tried it with the Benedict Cumberbatch character in The Power of the Dog (which oddly enough had Kodi Smit McPhee as well), but It wasn't working because Phil Burbank was too evil and too similar to Silas otherwise... Maybe one way I will be able to make that one work). I know that for some, pairing Silva with another male character might be a betrayal of his love for Jake, and you can feel free to skip it. But for me, this is talking about second chances at love (both for Silva and for Silas). I am grateful that there were many authors in AO3 and other pages who were set on fixing what felt like a forced heterosexual ending for Silas

That’s not what I was talking about. At all.

Hetty, we both killed ourselves. Yes, your death certificate says “suicide” while mine says “overdose (if I even have a COD on mine). It easily could have been the other way around. You just happened to be experiencing the “there’s no way out/no one’s on my side/best thing I can do is go away” while I was doing the “this is the only way I can maybe hope to feel ok and get through” thing at the time of our deaths. And neither of us actually wanted or intended to die, either, it was all about just wanting “out”— of situations/feelings so on.

You endured a lifetime of trauma and abuse. I stopped going to the doctor before it was determined if I had Major Depression or Bipolar II since I couldn’t ever face my bros again if I had either. Point is, there are certain things Sam referred to as “triggers” that can send us down a dark spiral or cause panic attacks, or other really bad reactions. Elias was your abuser and the direct cause of most of your trauma, including your death. I didn’t mean it like you fainting at the sight of him, more that his presence is super invasive to you in some way or another. I’m thinking back to the contract situation with Pete a few years ago. I know you did not want to sign that, and that should have been that…throw Elias in the vault. Of course, we were together at the time, so I had was way more aware of how severely his abuse affected you than they did. But still, you kept saying how having to live with him again would pretty much be sending you to hell, and they still went ahead and continued to try and convince you to sign. Honestly, that situation is the reason why I’m being so open about all this stuff on a blog anyone can view. It’s that level of messed up —enough for me to expose waaay more than just my balls; if it means making sure they know just how messed up stuff like that is, and to make sure nothing similar happens again; especially now that Jay’s in danger.

I’m not implying that you’re weak or fragile. I’m also not trying to White Knight you. Remember, I was seriously “triggered” and started spiraling over a snail.

so these text right here are usually connected to the characters route (could be something the consort has said to MC)

This led me to believe that MC is much more than just someone with a special, ancient magic. It was mentioned somewhere that her eyes are similar/the same as the "Creator" so there's a chance (a small chance) that MC is either originally from Saligia or the "Creator" is from the human realm (and I'm really leaning towards the first one).

To be honest, we don't really find out much information about her magic in the consort or princes routes, as of right now at least. But— BUT we do know she got to the magical realm through her own magic.

It could also be something similar to IkeRev where people (both Alices for example) from the Land of Reason (equivalent to CoD's human realm for those who doesn't play IkeRev) has that magic cancellation uh skill/magic(?) lmao but I highly doubt it 'cause duh!! That'd be too similar.

Now, since it says "At last we meet." in Headmaster Lou's profile, it could also be one of those cases where a prophecy was made (remember, we don't even know how old any of these characters are) and it was actually destined for MC to travel to Saligia. It's mentioned multiple times that just her existence in Saligia could throw the world in chaos. So really, MC's ancient magic isn't the only thing that's special, but her as a whole.

I'm really just snowballing here and I don't have much to back my theories up. Though I feel like we won't really know the truth until Lou's route comes out, which probably won't happen until a year or two (that's an estimate seeing as routes seems to come out every two months). There's a chance it could be even longer.

Anyways, it's a little past 3:30 am so my mind's kind of a mess and none of this might even make sense to anybody, but I'd really like to know what other people think. So send me an ask or a reply!!

Hello and welcome to Woodstone Manor - I have been here since the beginning, this house growing up in my shadow. A majestic mighty tree that has stood the test of

Nah this is weird...I'm Jay Arondekar and this is all just a simulation. Because video games are awesome and so is this ability my wife, Sam has. She can see ghosts!

She inherited this house from her Great Aunt and after falling down the stairs and kind of dying for a bit - she got better! - she can see actually see and hear ghosts.

There's 8 of them haunting here (well...not exactly, but more on that later)

This is them! Well, almost all of them... From left to right - Trevor aka "No Pants" (fortunately this game doesn't let Sims go pantsless, but he absolutely insisted on me putting him in tiny underpants after this...weirdo.) He's a finance bro from 2000 - he worked at Lehman Brothers (yeah those guys), despite this he's not as shitty as you'd think.

Then there's Sasappis, he goes by Sass (a well deserved nickname my wife tells me), he's a Lanape who's tribe used to live on the land here and he died back in the 1500s. Despite that he really loves TV.

Next to him is Flower - and you can totally guess where she's from right? The 1960s. She died on the property after trying to hug a bear, drugs were involved. She's cool though, if a bit spacey.

The guy next to her is an honest to God Viking from like the year 1000. Did you know there were Vikings in New York?! I did not so this was pretty epic to find out. According to my wife the good news about Thorfinn aka Thor - he's learnt to speak English, the bad news - he talks a lot about murdering and pillaging, also cod, salmon...any fish really.

And your eyes do not deceive you, next to Thor is a soldier from the Revolutionary War - Captain Isaac Higgintoot, who you can learn all about by reading my wife's recently released book on him The Forgotten Founding Father: The Isaac Higgintoot Story - available from all good bookstores! He died from dysentery, but we don't talk about that

The guy in front who looks like boy scout, is not a boy scout, he's Pete, Pine Cone Troop Leader and awesome travel agent (kids ask your parents about that), he's from the 80s, loves D&D, basketball.

And in the back wearing the eyecatching red, is Alberta who you may have heard about from the monthly Murder at the Manor?! podcast hosted by my wife and Todd Pearlman complete and a total loon who has one of Alberta's toenails and wants to clone her she was a raising star in the Jazz Age and her loss is utter tragedy for the music world.

And this is Henrietta "Hetty" Woodstone aka the owner of Woodstone Manor - well, that would actually be my wife, since Hetty is a ghost, but yeah. She wanted a screengrab of just her because as the owner of Woodstone she deserves it. She and her asshole (we're not striking that out? No? OK) husband/cousin, Elias - Mill Owners and Robber Barons built Woodstone in the 1850s. Apparently, there was a house on it when they started, but they made it the place it is today.

Here's the ground floor layout, there's a Ballroom, a Library, a Music Room and a Games Room. So yeah, the Woodstone's were rolling in it!

The first floor, where the bedrooms are, there's actually 9 of them - well 8 if you don't include the Owner's Suite, or 6 if you take out the ghosts' bedrooms (why do ghosts need their own bedrooms? Because getting walked through hurts. They bunk up, Thor and Trevor share the Private Living Room so that means only 3 bedrooms are out of commission. Although the one marked "Spruce" isn't actually available yet because of a terrible mould issue so there's actually 5 guest rooms at the B&B in real life. But for the purposes of the game here, each Ghost gets their own room, again! They're pretty jealous of their simselves to be honest.

We have a basement with an actual secret Vault in it! Sadly, the visions I had a piles of gold ala Scrooge McDuck did not come to be. But you can drink wine down there now, it's accessed by a secret room and passageway. Where exactly is the secret door? You'll have to visit us to find out!

There's also a whole group of ghosts in the hot water heater room that died of Cholera, my wife says be glad you can't see them.

And finally the attic, you don't wanna go up there, it's full of old stuff including metal things that are probably a tetanus hazard. Also there's a ghost of a teenage girl up there, she got murdered on her way to prom in the late 80s and she's pretty pissed about it. Which is totally understandable, although she's also a huge mean girl and that sucks.

So now you have a bit of background! Tune in next time to see how the Ghosts settle in and their excitement at actually being able to leave the Manor grounds! (Did you know Ghosts are bound to the places they haunt? Turns out they are...which is why my wife and I have to put up with them)
