He shook his head to confirm his stance on taking to the mic himself.

"Nope. No chance. Karaoke's the only time you'll find me with a mic in my hand willingly embarrassing myself."

Jasmine raised an incredulous brow. "I know intent and interpretation is like, the thing with with poetry, but it's hard to not interpret that face you're making a type of way." Jaz didn't get anything funny from it but to each their own, she supposed. "You plan on getting up there?"

She stepped onto the elevator thankful it wasn’t crowded. The elevator went down and the door chimed. Naomi barely caught who it was as she was focused on making sure her dog wasn’t bothering other people. As more people left, she could feel it was just her and another person. “Hey, get over here..” Naomi whispered to her canine. “Sorry, she’s too curious for her - .” She got a better look at the other person stopping mid sentence. “Jaz, how are you holding up with the storm coming?” For now it wasn’t too bad which made her conquer the drive to boyfriend’s place. “Did you… need anything?” Her eyes watched as the numbers went down going to the first floor.

Aidan raised his hands in a gesture of innocence, smile twisting a little wider while he listened to the other. "Hey, go nuts," he invited, shrugging before letting his hands drop. "I'll just warn you that I haven't seen anyone find the rock without my help, so... I'm only tryin' to make your life easier." And make some money.

Jaz let at a hum as she looked at the list. "I'm trying to see if I have the one that asks 'where I look incapable,' but I don't seem to have that one." She shot Aidan a look. "If you're trying to make a quick buck off someone it definitely isn't me."

Jo was starting to think that trying to have a pre-storm shopping run was a bad idea. Everyone was running around trying to grab supplies, and get home as soon as possible. "Oh!" she nearly ran into someone as she shuffled around the store, basket on her arm. She let out a soft yelp. "Are you okay?" she asked, stepping back to make sure the other person was alright and she didn't cause too much damage. "I think you dropped this," she said to Jasmine, picking up one of the packages that had fallen on the floor.

The first gift is a non-alcoholic drink mix; it's syrup and a glass and a fun Christmas straw, all you have to do is add your favorite base (soda water, tonic, sprite, whatever!). I've mixed it specially and I call it Lena's Christmas Punch. I've also included a cookie-in-a-jar mix, carefully crafted so all you have to do is add the wet ingredients and go, and a new, festive apron to wear while baking them! I hope that you all have an amazing holiday season!

In addition to all of the beaded goods, I got a few things for our tv/movie nights. That includes a new stovetop popcorn maker. It wasn't quite New Orleans, but Stelly appreciated the touches -- the gold and purple ribbons, the green beads, the jazz music playing in the other room. It would make for a good night, they decided, telling their fellow bartenders that they were taking five to head across the floor towards the photo boot, seeing someone familiar nearby. "You hop in there yet?" they gestured to the booth, looking back at Jasmine. "I'm thinking of giving it a go."

Most of the time, Ryder was a little drunk at the galas. He liked to wander around with a glass of champagne in hand, do shots with someone at the bar, formal wear be damned. But this was his place of work, and apparently he had discovered how to be mature. Or something. Spotting Jaz in the gallery area, he stepped up to her side, offering her a quick smile. "Having fun?"

After texting back and forth with his twin sister, they both settled upon Jaz coming on over to talk. It had been a while since they hung out anyway, so getting to see his favorite sister was good by him. He made sure to tidy up a bit, not that his place was messy by any means and gave the dogs fresh water and some good before ordering food for him and his sister. He got her favorite and his favorite door dashing it so it would be here when she got there. Opening the door to her, making sure both Rosie and Scooter wouldn't run out into the hall, he closed the door behind her. "Hey," he replied and motioned for her to come on in.

The Winter Market had been a huge success, though extremely tiresome. Still, Clara knew that she’d have the time to unwind eventually, didn’t see herself taking a break from any of the festivities scattered throughout the town just yet. It hadn’t gone unnoticed to her that a particular cluster of siblings all seemed a bit worse for ware lately, and in the spirit of giving, Clara had one goal in mind upon spotting Jasmine downtown; an intrusive thought that she was certainly going to act upon.

Scooping up a handful of snow that sheathed the earth, the blonde worked it into a firm ball before closing an icy blue eye and taking aim, watching as the ivory object flew through the air and connected in an explosion against Jaz’s upper back. “Bullseye!” Clara cheered, pumping a fist successfully into the air.
