In no particular order—

1. Jazzchet (Jazz x Ratchet)

This is probably been talked about before, but their hypothetical dynamic between them both is extremely interesting and fascinating to me. That's part of what got me into the realm of rarepairs, to be honest. A mutual of mine mentioned how Jazz could show Ratchet how to unwind and enjoy the wonders of music, and honestly, it's just really soft to think about.

2. Simpatico (Brainstorm x Perceptor)

Ohhh, their dynamic is both comedic and sweet if you think about it. I'm not sure how I could accurately phrase it into words, but in a way, they understand one another. Despite their vastly different personalities, they can work together. It seems almost... unexpected? But their dynamic is fun to explore further. Regardless, their duo works and is surprisingly cute. Simpatico? Simpatico.

3. Jazzterwave (Jazz x Blaster x Soundwave)

Damn you, Tumblr artists... I mean— they have a very nice dynamic together. Plus, they're all related to music. Bickering aside, I think the trio has a really cute dynamic being together, whether it's platonic or romantic. The posts I've seen of the three have been absolutely adorable or funny. It's a bit hard for me not to like the ship with that said.

Thinking of Soundwave, I can only imagine how many of his comrades promised him the overload of the millennia and boasting skills they definitely didn't have. Same thing with Jazz if we assume he fragged around and found out with both factions... and more. Guess some discover incompatibility the hard way

Mh, Blaster and the Wreckers? It was bad sex in a funny way. Wouldn't do it again but the best raunchy takes when half drunk at the bar come from that time.

Between each other? Sure, in the fic I'm writing they will not fumble, but I cannot imagine a world where they didn't fumble their first few threesomes. I have difficulties answering this because their personalities vary a bit in the continuities and one can play with this fact. But let's think

Okay i will use the personalities i usually give them: mix of marvel and idw for blaster, idw/g1 for Sw and Jazz

Soundwave: okay in my mind he would not mind being "of service" but he would not in any shape or form appreciate any form of degradation with it. For example:

Being told what to do and being bossed around is fine and cool.

Being insulted and having remarks made about his position of "inferiority", insults, dirty talk that touches certain aspects regarding him or his past (his past with Shockwave and Ratbat, his rose as a Decepticon, his outlier ability and its uses) are entirely off the table.

But being in the proverbial cuck-chair and having remarks made about this is fine(if they don't intertwine with what said above)

Also even vanilla stuff is to be negotiated with him. At least at first, if the music trio is to make some music Soundwave needs to know about it early and in detail.

So basically, the most important thing for him is knowing that no matter in what situation he has respect and no surprises. [I am allergic to short answers 💀✨️]

Blaster:

Power plays are fine until they are not. Rebellion and not the fun kind is always a possibility with him.

Degradation is fine if playful and shallow. If the vibe is off he will bite

No cuck chair, ever, he will be getting action no matter what

(My problem is that everything that relates to their important things in the sex sphere are things that tie to bigger scenarios and personalities)

Jazz:

No degradation (i am starting to notice a pattern here)

The moment something stops being fun and there's "tension" tm it's all off

No angry-sex with Blaster

No digging around his thoughts unless agreed beforehand from Soundwave

I would write them with most kink-scenes tbh they are so fun. I was going to say cuck-holding but tbh I would totally write something along those lines in the future.

Probably a master/servant scene because i think they would proooobably go ooc after a while since they have strong personalities.

If i had to choose a "servant" it would have to be Balster. But it would be a lot more brat taming than anything else. It could technically work probably but with a lot of convincing and pampering without him acting out.

If I were to make soundwave he would follow orders tbh. He is good with authority figures (if he respects them)

i dont often think much about g1 or particularly think much about its characters but jazz/blaster/soundwave hits that satisfying chord in my brain where its like. yeah ok this just makes sense.

jazz is a guy who loves music and blaster is a guy who can make music. so him loving blaster makes sense. and soundwave is also a guy who can make music, but he does it evil. blaster hates soundwave, but jazz loves music. and blaster and soundwave can make music, thus he brings them together through sheer vibes. #peaceandlove
