It's been a few days since Chris asked Dani out and they were a bit awkward still but only when they were alone. Today they were all hanging out with everyone and that included Sam and Colby, Tara, Jake, Johnnie, and Larry. Honestly, Dani didn't feel like joining but she had no choice since everyone was gonna be at the house for a while.

"You okay?" Nick sits next to her on the couch.

"Ehh, I don't wanna hangout with anyone really. My social battery is dead today." She gives him a smile.

"Well you need to recharge it because you know the type of people you're hanging out with later." He laughs at her so she gives him a look. "Also how are you and him doing?" He looks over in Chris's direction.

"Not as bad but still odd when alone. That's why I'm hanging around you or Matt to keep me busy. Give it a few more days and it will be over with." She tells him.

"You gonna tell Colby what happened?"

"Are you fucking crazy?" She says louder than expected so Matt and Chris look over at her. "Hey, mind your own business." She points her finger at them so they go back to whatever they were doing. "I will tell Sam though."

As it was getting closer to the time everyone was gonna show up, Dani didn't want to leave her room. She wanted to get as much time alone before chaos. "Why are you taking my place as the non-social one?" Matt enters her room, "The night will fly by. Here for a bit, dinner, and then Top Golf."

"I think you keep forgetting the main reason I hate this."

"Colby." He knew exactly why.

"You know he hated that I stayed home with you for Tara's party, right. Nick told him we just spent all night in your bed watching Netflix. So I woke up the next morning to so many texts asking what the fuck. His mind automatically went to inappropriate things. He didn't even believe me right away."

"What! He didn't believe you? I get he's a protective big brother but come on. That's a bit much." He sits on her bed dumbfounded.

"Yep, you gotta blame my ex for how Colby is."

"But to not trust you and go overboard on his protectiveness? Dani, you need to tell him how you feel about that. Don't just deal with it because he's your brother." He tells her but she shakes her head. Matt goes to speak again but the doorbell goes off. They both look at each other till they hear it was Sam and Colby.

"Get, and you're in my room with the door shut." Dani gets up going to the door, "Let's get this over with." She opens it and sees Colby was gonna knock.

"Matt." He looks around Dani over at Matt on her bed.

"Colby." He waves.

Dani walks past Colby and grabs Sam upstairs dragging him to the bathroom so they can be alone and talk. "Hello to you too." He laughs as she locks the door.

"When my parents came to visit, Chris asked me out and I told I didn't feel the same. You know,  we didn't go over that what if." She lets him know.

"Chris asked you out?"

"In front of my parents, Sam." She whispers yells, "If Chris liked me then there's no way Matt does."

"Why do you say that?"

"Isn't there like a bro code or something especially between brothers?" She asks him.

Sam shrugs his shoulders, "I don't know if they have bro codes. Just ask Nick or something."

"Oh, speaking of Nick. I forgot to tell you. When I got back after my weekend with you, I slipped that I have a thing for Matt. So you and him know." Dani adds.

"And what did he say? Did he give you any hints?" Sam gets a bit excited wanting to know.

"Just that he will keep the secret."

Sam makes a face, "Some best friend he is. He was no help. Isn't he supposed to have your back too?"

They stopped talking as there was a knock at the bathroom door, "What's going on in there?" Colby asks them.

Dani opens the door, "Can I seriously not just have a conversation with someone in peace?" She groans walking past Colby again going back to her room.

When everyone else shows up, Dani was still in her room. She was debating telling everyone she was gonna stay home and wish everyone a good night. Again, she just wasn't in the mood already and Colby just made it worse for her.

"Dani's home, right?" Tara asks everyone still confused why she hasn't seen her.

"She's in her room." Colby tells her.

"Thanks to you." Matt says then catches he said it out loud, "I'll check on her." Matt gets up but Colby does too.

"Don't sweat it. She's my sister and it's my fault apparently."

Tara watches the two give each other a look, "I'll do it since I'm the only other girl here." She gets up going to Dani's room shaking her head at the two. "Can I come in?" Tara knocks on the door then goes in as Dani says yeah. "Are you really in here because of Colby?"

"Who said that?" Dani puts her phone down next to her.

"Matt slipped." She walks over to the bed, "Colby seems to still have a main problem with just him. Wanna talk about it?" Tara sits down.

"Just Colby being an overly protective brother, who hates my friendship with Matt."

"Well, he needs to get over it because I don't see you two ever not being close. I do see y'all getting closer at some point, if you know what I mean." Tara gives her a smile, "You two like each other anyone could see that. If not, they're fucking blind to the truth. He cares about you." She laughs, "He threw Colby under the bus to his face on accident." She laughs more.

"I know and that's why I like him so much." Dani gives Tara a look, "You and Sam both say he likes me too but I don't wanna risk it. And I don't want him getting more crap from Colby if he does feel the same too."

"Danielle, Jake and I dated forever and we are still great friends. Don't be scared to try and fuck Colby. It's your happiness and relationship. Not his." Tara grabs her hand, "Now, we're leaving in a few for dinner. And I want to get a in person read on Matt instead through an edited YouTube video so you're changing." Tara jumps up rushing over to the closet since Dani was just in an oversized shirt.

"Are you serious, Tara?"

"Yep." She looks back with a big smile.

Once Dani was dressed Tara eyes her up and down, "You're boobs have grown."

"Yes, I wish it was my height instead. Now let's just go. I want this night over with." Dani opens her door for Tara to go first.

"And this is why you send a girl to do girl work." Tara smiles joining the others as Dani follows behind. "She's ready to go now." Tara smiles back at Dani in view now.

"Tara, do me a favor and stop yapping."

"Why change clothes?" Colby asks so Tara speaks up for Dani.

"Because she looked terrible so I picked a new outfit for her. No wonder why she didn't want to leave the house."

At dinner Dani didn't chat much or wasn't on her phone either like the others were as well. She still wanted to be home in her bed watching tv. Tara, Sam, and Nick tried their best to get Dani to cheer up but they weren't doing it for her. She appreciated them though and would thank them for trying. Then at Top Golf Dani wasn't gonna play but sit and cheer the others on.

"You're upsetting me." Matt sits next to her. He hadn't really chatted with since everyone arrived at their house. Even at dinner Colby got them seated far away from each other.

"Why?" She asks confused.

"You aren't yourself right now."

"You know the anti social me, Matt. This isn't new to you." She rolls her eyes a bit.

Matt sighs looking over at Colby take his turn before looking back at her, "That's not just it though." He gets her to look at him, "You're hurting on the inside as well right now."

Her eyes start to get watery and her lower lip quivers a bit, "I gotta use the bathroom." She lies getting up speed walking away wiping her tears away.

Matt doesn't waste a second getting up and following her. He knew that was just bullshit to get away from everyone. As the two left Sam, Nick, and Tara share a look as they look away from where the two went.

"I gotta spy, sorry." Tara gets up quickly.

"I gotta see if he has the magic touch." Sam gets up as well.

"Guys!" Nick sees the other five look over at them, "Nothing to worry about. We'll be back." He tells them before going after the two.

When Matt gets to Dani he stops her from entering the bathroom, "Hey." He walks them away a bit to where they were alone.

"Why must you know me so fucking well? Huh, Matthew?" Tears fall from her eyes, "More than my own fucking brother. I hate that. I really do."

"Full first name, okay." He chuckles, "That hurt a bit." He laughs more and it makes her giggle a bit, "There's that smile. I haven't seen it all day." He tilts his head to the side a bit while leaning down a little to her height.

She quickly stops the little smile she had, "Stop it. I'm not gonna do it again."

"Wanna bet? You know I have my ways at getting things I want." He gives her a big smile, "I'll let Mr. Wrinkleton spend the night with you." He gets her to smile again, "We don't have to talk about it but I have one request from you."

"And what's that?" She sighs wiping her tears away.

"You love when we come here alone so try to have some fun before we go home." He puts his hand out to her. Dani nods her head taking his head to go back with him.

"Go, go, go, go!" The three spying on them quickly rush back to join the others and act normal.

Instead of putting a ton of thought into stats and skill sets, Knoxville would probably pick his character based on if they were funny or interesting to watch,

I’m so totally not projecting here ahahah

Johnny is historically bad at tech/ video games, so I could see him learning one combo and abusing the hell out of it!

Said combo is 100% Ball Breaker (see first line)

Everyone gets pissed off but not pissed off enough to stop finding it amusing-

Bam- Nitara

Gets ragged on for playing as a chick but, I mean- look at her! Sexy vampire lady!

Chris- Reptile

Come on, you’re telling me he wouldn’t wanna play as a badass, shape shifting lizard dude?

In addiction, I think Reptile is one of the kindest characters in the series, which in addition to Chris’ love of animals, would make him a pretty perfect fit!

Not a massive gamer, but he’ll pick it up when the weather’s too crappy for surfing and he’s got nothing better to do,

Gameplay wise, he really just does moves that look cool (or vaguely suggestive), but he doesn’t really care much about winning,

IMMEDIATELY gets killed to nobody’s surprise. But, hey- he has fun!

Ryan- Sub Zero

Ryan is a classic kind of guy, so he seems like he’d pick one off the OG roster!

He’s been playing as the same character since Dico showed him the game sometime in highschool and he’s never thought to switch it up

Which, speaking of, he’s definitely the guy to know all the cheat codes before you find out and will 100% abuse the shit out of them XD

WAY less competitive than Bam, but he would have those combos down like muscle memory

Speaking of him those two, they could easily stay up until the sun rises, eyes turning square from ‘just one more round’ing for hours lol

Okay rewatching Snowpiercer for the first time in like a decade and my mind is just running rampant with a 141 Snowpiercer au.

Price is clearly Chris Evans' character and Edgar is so Johnny coded he even comes with the accent. Just following as John leads him and the others through the revolution. Ghost is one of those masked axe wielding buff guards that gives up the constant hunt for violence and action to follow John Price and his yappy little comrade because he's just a feral dog needing a guiding hand to his next meal. Gaz is in the front cars sending back clues and instructions to Price for the rebellion, bored and sick of the privileged life he and the others lead. Finally Nik is one of John's men that was taken towards the front years ago to help work on the engine when it sputtering. And if he's been somewhat sabotaging it so that the front cars lose power sometimes? Eh, whoopsies.

hello folks, here's a longer than I anticipated post that no one asked for about the development of my personal face claim head canons about human darth maul over time.

one type of au my friend and I would frequently use for rps was earth/different galaxy Star Wars, which would involve maul being a human. I know that we didn't invent human maul alternate universes by any means, but the art that we were finding for inspiration just wasn't quite fitting the vibes we personally were trying to visualize, so I started to make some on my own that for a long time were just for us, but I figured there's no way were the only two people who like the same ideas and AUs that we do, so I wanted to share the edits and drawings I made involving human maul in case they can help inspire any other Star Wars role-players or fic writers out there.

this first attempt to conceptualize a human maul was this lil edit (pictured above). Ray Park as a starting point wasn't a bad idea, since obviously he is the canon live action actor for maul.

I kicked around the punk maul idea a little bit more and, while it worked for some aus, it wasnt the exact vibe we wanted for the majority of them (my friend and I regularly cycled through a handful of different maulobi aus that involved maul being a human that I could get into but that’s for a different post).

at this point we still didn't really have a face claim other than Ray Park, who for an inexplicable reason wasnt cutting it for us. my friend and I soon drifted away from human maul being white dude, since he seemed more poc coded to us. as we moved on from Ray Park we were still keeping maul's (both live action and animated) general bone structure in mind.

which, spoiler alert, ended with us picking none other than the one and only: Oscar Isaac

after struggling a while to find a face claim we both liked for human maul, moon knight aired. What does moon knight have to do with darth maul you ask? nothing really, but watching it reminded us how much we love that dude and made us decide that just because Oscar Isaac was already in the Star Wars universe, that didn't mean we couldn't use his beautiful mug anyway. we had already done marvel AUs together that involved both Steve Rogers and Johnny Storm, who both still have Chris Evans face, so the casual doppelgänger concept wasn't really that crazy to us.

this next photo isn't human maul, but was me experimenting to see if our wild idea to use Oscar Isaac's face actually made any sense. I did this by drawing maul (Jedi maul, in this case) right on top of a photo of Oscar Isaac, and I realized my friend and I were in fact super geniuses.

we were both really happy with the results of this experiment, and went all in on using Oscar Isaac as human mauls face claim in all our Star Wars roleplays

This last one was another idea that I just felt like making a visual for: what if the way mauls night brother tattoos translate to a normal human universe is as scars that are in the general shape of his tattoos. we didn't end up using this much but maybe itll inspire someone else

‘Johnny Can’t Decide’ from Tick Tick Boom is incredibly Vendetta Leon with a domestic partner coded as Chris watches from the sidelines unable to help or intervene. Leon holding onto his failures, his job, the deaths of the people he failed as his spouse just weakly begs him to see them, that they’re trying to be a support system, trying to convince him to settle down with them even if it’s just for a moment.

Friday had finally arrived, and Y/n, Karina, and Haechan were done with their shift. Ready to make the most of their free time, they decided to hang out together. After a quick coffee stop, they headed to the park to unwind and shake off the day’s stress.

Sunday finally rolled around, and with the restaurant closed, Y/n, Karina, and Haechan took advantage of their day off, hanging out in the park after grabbing some coffee.

"I still don’t get what you see in him," Haechan said, sprawled out on the grass with his eyes closed.

"Oh my god, Haechan, I don’t like him," Y/n replied, frowning. "I just think he’s cute, you idiot." She gave him a light tap on the knee.

"Same difference, idiot," he muttered, rubbing where she’d hit him.

"It’s not, and you shouldn’t even know about it," she shot back, a little annoyed, glancing over at her best friend, who was failing to keep a giant grin off her face. "But of course, someone had to run their mouth."

"You know I love you, right?" Karina said, pulling Y/n into a hug. Y/n hugged her back, unable to stay mad.

"Ugh, I could never stay mad at you, Rina."

"Not like it matters. You don’t even have a chance with Johnny," Haechan chimed in out of nowhere, adding, "Mark’s single and thinks you’re cute."

"Mark thinks anything with long hair and a pulse is cute," Karina deadpanned, making Y/n laugh while Haechan shrugged.

"Think about it, Y/n," he said, cracking one eye open to look at her. She rolled her eyes.

"No way. I’ve seen the amount of weed he goes through on his breaks. Not happening," Y/n replied, raising an eyebrow.

"You gotta start somewhere, right?" Haechan teased, shrugging.

"Yeah, maybe start by shutting the fuck up."

''Chris is cute too, you know?'' Karina said with a grin.

''You can have him'' Y/n replied, while Haechan scoffed.

''Girl code, something you wouldn’t get'' she added, pausing for a moment ''Plus, if Rina weren’t my friend, I wouldn’t be into him anyway.''

''Right, because you like grandpas'' Haechan teased, earning another smack, but this time from Karina.

''Ouch, what was that for?'' he protested, opening his eyes to see Y/n was busy scrolling through her phone '' And why did you hit me?''

''Because you need to shut up, and for your information, Johnny is not ancient or anywhere near Leeteuk’s age'' Karina said, glancing nervously at Y/n, who was now giving her a serious look ''I mean, your brother isn’t that old… he doesn’t even look it, really.''

''Oh my god, can you not understand? Johnny is just attractive. I don’t. Like. Him.'' Y/N emphasized each word, letting out an exasperated sigh.

''Yeah, yeah, you say that, but then you’re all horned up just because he looked at you'' Haechan said, sitting up from where he’d been lying down.

''Do you need another one?'' Y/n raised her hand, making Haechan quickly shield himself.

''No, but I think you need therapy. You know, maybe work through that anger management issue.''

Y/n just rolled her eyes, and right as she was about to respond, a ping from her phone caught her attention. She picked it up from where it was lying in the grass and saw it was a message from her brother. With a sigh, she opened the chat.

"What? Are you fucking kidding me?" Haechan groaned, staring at his phone in disbelief. He’d just read Leeteuk’s message in the work group chat. "I was supposed to go out with Yeji before my shift. This shit sucks," he added, flopping back onto the grass and tossing his phone aside.

"Guess you’ll have to cancel, Romeo," Karina teased, locking her own phone and giving him a smirk. Haechan just sighed, visibly annoyed.

"Y/n, do something!" he whined, looking at her like she could magically fix everything. She shot him a frown. The audacity, she thought.

"And why the fuck do you think being his sister gives me some kind of power?"

"At least we can head in together," Karina offered looking at Y/n, trying to stay positive.

"Uh, actually, no babes," Y/N said, and Karina tilted her head in confusion. "I have to go in an hour early. Leeteuk’s special request," she sighed, making Karina slump against her shoulder.

“Tomorrow’s shift is going to be brutal,” Haechan muttered, his face a mix of frustration and resignation.

I'm trying to watch Athena P lore videos because god are they entertaining and so funny. But here's some shows/movies I would love a lore deep dive on and why:

Inspector gadget reboot - the 'romance' between penny and Talon was so confusing yet endearing. Also, loving how chief Quimby just Disguises himself just to give gadget a misson

Total drama - not only was it a huge fan of gross out humor and has our overlord chris mclain, it literally introduced me to the ' bad boy x good girl' trope before ripping it out and taking a character ( who was literally perfect with another) and forcing them together due to aesthetics.

Transformers: robots in Disguise ( 2015) or Transformers prime - two shows that have fanbases debating ( seriously), each saying why each respective show is better. But other than that, both are fine for what they are and gave me two crushes that I hold dearly.

Mia and me - a fairy show that's not only animated but live action? With the main character having an ability to talk to unicorns? And with one of her bullies DISCOVERING HER SECRET LIFE??

Ben and hollies little kingdom - super wholesome and I love how the humans coinside with the fairies

Max and ruby - there's a tiktoker who made a whole series on why ruby was annoying. Need I say more?

Trollhunters and the spin off 3below - honestly from what I remember, I loved the stakes of the show and how cool the Armour the main character had. Regarding the spin off, loving how the bully I think was into the alien girl

Max steel ( not the 2000s one. sorry) - Max having to come up with the most unbelievable excuses as to why he has to go is cliche but also kind of funny? And the fact that the company Max's dad works for has lore as well is kind of interesting

Dino squad - I actually remembered this show through a cringe compilation of all things and had to add it. From the theme song, to the plotines, to the fact that I had a crush on Laruzo even though he was obviously queer coded ( his Dino form was cool though)

Jem and the holograms - the I am a giant song from the misfits lives in my head rent free. Also, jem practicing trying to reveal to that one guy only from him to yell at her is funny to me

Lolirock - same with jem as revolution is iconic as well as the villians. Plus, why is was eventually taken off

The tinker bell movies - forgot I was supposed to mention movies as well ( sorry). But I love them and how the fairies each have their own abilities ( as well as different kinds). From pirate fairies to winter fairies, it's really cool.

Barbie: a fashion fairytale - I love all barbie movies equally but this...this just takes the cake. What other movie will you see ken making a child cry, fairies with attitude, rotting dresses, and a roller skating aunt?

Zoom (2015) - the trailer showing a scene of the main character and her character arguing is honestly what made me want to watch it ( I haven't but I'm planning on it)

Super hero squad - kid me was laughing my butt off when falcon married his bird. So...

The little prince movie - I didn't even read the book but when I saw that the old man had died, I was emotionally devastated, especially after listening to all his stories which inspired the main character to go find the prince UGHHH

The book of life - is it cliche? Yes. Is it like coco? Yes. Do I like that in the end, the main boy has to sing a guitar version of creep to calm down a bull? Absolutely yes!

Epic - josh hutcherson, beyonce, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny knoxville, an enemies to lovers storyline, a snail, a royal guard having a love for the queen, the enemies being bugs, and ANDD a nerdy dad. That's it.

Rise of the guardians - I absolutely love it followed jack and his arc of being seen and when he finally is, the kid and him are just so excited! Also, the fact that a lot of people are simping for the Easter bunny is a testament to how many people will call anyone sexy.

Daniel spellbound - wanted to add this because there's an awesome creator ( cough cough @bonkalore) who's made an amazing au out of this show and I wanted to see what you thought of it and your theories

Bonus options ( just random one's I think could fit): the rainbow fairies series, Lego friends, the complicated life of Claudia Christina Cortez, sonic underground, drama or sisters ( but any book by rainia would be great), Junie b Jones, stoked, barney, goddess girls, glitter force ( that's what I remember it as), invisible sister, a monster in Paris, Maya and miguel, and Martha)
