Every day I'm losing my mind at the utter, unimaginable depravity and barbarity and shameless lies perpetrated by Israel's government and military. I'm beside myself with anger at how readily wealthy assholes throw away every last hope for the world's liberal democracies and every pretense of concern for other human beings for the sake of building hotels and oil rigs on top of the corpses in Gaza. I'm haunted by pictures of children's dismembered corpses hung up on spikes on the walls of bombed out buildings and left to rot. By the mindless brutal hippopotamus politics of the state that's decided this is the most that humanity should ever aspire to: To kill each other for territory until the strongest animal wins.

So pardon me if I'm low on diplomacy.

Visited my local farmer's market this week. Tested out my new handmade burlap tote. Bought these beautiful organic eggs freshly laid (one double-yolk so far), and added my watermelon 🍉 to my breakfast. Using one of my favorite mugs from my collection for my coffee.

This is the life I created and didn't know I needed. Is it perfect? No. But am I thankful and feeling rich.

We can redefine this thing called life one day at a time, and I really feel deep down that we should. Because our current way of doing life in the hurried, fast-paced, anxiety stricken way is no longer working for us anymore.

This is the premise of why I created "A Creative Life by Nherie" to talk through, examine, explore and share the alternative lifestyle of putting your personal creativity first and using that energy to problem solve and share light into the world that so desperately needs it.

It's a big job, but it's a calling worth answering.

Grey days, studying and movies

It has been grey, foggy and cold here, which is lovely study weather. Dreamed so weirdly/bad I thought I was insane until 10am. However, it’s probably the stress and tiredness for my deadlines :)

What I did:

Studied psychology for an hour this morning, so that’s positive!

Went to the library and browsed the local bookstore for journals, which made me very happy

I am working so hard on my two portfolio’s I will celebrate so hard on monday when this is all over

Took three walks so far of about an hour, which was a lovely change of scenery from the dining table

Watched Little Women (2019) on tuesday and Pride and Prejudice (2005) yesterday. Very much enjoyed it, both books are on my tbr list! I had never seen them and desperately needed something cozy
