I have to get off the internet now that I’ve seen people defending a minor CELEBRITY calling people retarded. How is that in any way defendable? I don’t know who needs to hear this, but in the year 2023 calling people retarded because you don’t like their opinion is not okay.

Shifted to my fnaf Dr last night. Not planned but not unpleasent. Anyways when I woke up my first thought was “wait did I miss a part of marks play through, I don’t remember him going through that part of the pizza plex”

now I’m mad cause it was so cool. It was Monty themed and it was a like a one of the exercise jungle gyms. And it doesn’t exist in the game wtf. Now I can’t go back and look at it😞

I think I might actually be over Dungeons and Dragons. I think that other systems that do similar things have reached critical mass such that if I wanted to be a player, I wouldn't necessarily have to play D&D. When I think about the stories I want to tell with other people, D&D is no longer in the running for the system I would use. I don't think it's a distaste or anything like that, I think I've just grown out of it.

I took a break from running my 5e game for the last few months because it's been a very difficult few months for me, personally and professionally. Deaths of loved ones, crunch, current events, mental health, physical health - you know the drill. I told my group I would probably not get back to them until "early summer," which is...well, now!

But even though we are making plans to start meeting again, I just... don't want to? I want to tell other stories with different systems (not necessarily fantasy). And it feels like time spent playing d&d is time I could be spending playing one of the MANY systems in my library I've yet to try.

This must be what my dad feels like when they ask him to play Piano Man.

this week has been such a blur! i was on a trip out of state to visit some family all while doing my online summer course. it was difficult to balance my time while staying on top of my work.. ended up doing so much homework at late hours ૮ ◞ ﻌ ◟ ა pics include me doing hw in the airport lounge + two cute cafes (waco + dallas, tx!)
