Are we really being honest, if we would judge another? What do we judge others for? Something they do which we hate? Being flawed? Being imperfect according to our standards? Are we any better? When will we wise up and check ourselves first? We are no better than the next man who sins, and yet we are being shown the mercy we don't deserve. Do we think we will be shown any greater honour than others when Judgment Day comes? We won't. We will all be on the same ground before the Righteous Judge, since we are all to be held accountable for what we did. We should not think highly of ourselves, just because we are followers of Christ, but that we are those who should be the example of repentance and God's mercy. So what shall we do here - keep on looking at people with spite for their ungodly behaviour, or actually choose to follow Jesus Christ and show others what repentance and turning to our loving Creator is like. Let us therefore take the second option and help people get to know God properly. God bless you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! Amen.

So story time. I’m on a competitive weightlifting team (for fun) and that means I spend a lot of time around many very straight men (which truly could be its own story series) but today we had some downtime and were bored so we were talking about opinions we have on shows and one of them turns to me and goes, “I bet you have some really good Phineas and Ferb takes,” because I am nothing if not, incredibly predictable. So I gave some of my milder hot takes (because I did not know how safe the space was) and he goes, “cool, mine is that Perry and Doof are in love with each other.”
Y’ALL. THE WAY I SWIVELED AROUND SO FAST. Like I need you guys to understand this is a man who does Olympic-style weightlifting at the national level, has a full beard, and religiously eats a pound of beef a day to meet his protein goals. I was like Owen what the fuck and he was just sitting next to me, grinning, and watching me vibrate at a speed known only to autistics as I struggled to string together two coherent thoughts that weren’t holyshitholyshitholyshit.
And when I finally managed to get a thought together I expressed how shocked I was, and this man just goes, “well of course I ship them, I’ve seen the show.”

adding onto the “every gang wants Koko” anon.
in the end, I think joining Toman was the best thing Koko could’ve done for himself, think abt it. Every single gang he’s been in, excluding Toman, has wanted him bc of his amazing skill of making Money extremely efficiently, nothing else, which makes him one of the most useful people in the gang world technically.
While this makes a bunch of gangs want him, it isn’t really good for Koko’s self esteem bc basically nobody in his life, with the exception of Inui, has tried to be close with him or just have him around unless they need him to make money for them. Koko, from what I can tell, doesn’t see much value in himself outside of Money making. Kanto Manji and Bonten make this even worse because his mental state was shit by default. Side note but thats maybe why he stayed with Inui for so long, because that was the one he could trust wouldn’t use him because baseically every other gang has.
and then you have Toman, a gang that doesn’t really need to make money bc it’s not as serious as most gangs and is more just a group of laid back guys who can also kick ass. They don’t need to make money, but they let Koko in anyway.
toman was good for Koko bc for once they didn’t need him for money and just let him in bc they coul and really none of them knew, or cared who he was. Letting him actually build connections with people who don’t know anything about him.
can you tell who my favorite Tokyo rev character is anyways bye:D
These are some good points! Ngl though I really wish we got to see more of Koko in toman and see him (plus Inui) actually interact with them a bit. I mean we don't even know if they were targeted in the whole tenjiku attack thing or not. Just would've liked to have seen more of them in toman.

(Also the toman uniform totally suits Koko)

conversation with no destination | alex/franky, background rosquez
“Isn’t there a way around it?” Marc snaps, face caught in an uncharacteristically crotchety frown, and Alex sighs.
"No,” he says, raising his phone camera to the ceiling so that he can roll his eyes, and having to pause to stifle a snicker when Franky laughs up at him, fond and far too loud to be sure that Marc hasn’t heard it on the other end of the line. Alex schools his expression, centres the camera, and pointedly raps a knuckle on one side of the noise cancelling headphones that they’ve settled on as a compromise – “to prevent conflict of interest,” Alex had said, brandishing them at him, as professionally as he could when the bedsheets were still tangled around Franky’s waist. He coughs, readjusts the camera again. “Twenty-five million is a lot to justify, even for you, Marc. And you wanted this role.”
“Allora, it is fine,” Valentino calls from somewhere off screen. Briefly, Alex wonders why he bothers even attempting to banish Franky when Valentino will just get the news straight from the source anyway. “I will survive one movie premiere without you. Go and do your acting.”
This doesn’t improve Marc’s mood; instead, his scowl deepens, as though he’s heard something in Valentino’s voice that Alex missed behind the lightly dismissive laughter.
“Be reasonable,” Alex cajoles. “We cannot expect the studio to push filming back just because one red carpet events schedule has changed.”
“You’re right, I cannot cancel now,” Marc acquiesces, wretchedly pushing his hair back off his face. He turns his eyes to something past Alex – Valentino, Alex thinks, gaze instinctually following Marc’s look and instead landing on Franky, still looking only half-awake in the soft morning light. Alex absently cards his fingers through Franky’s hair, lets his hand fall softly to his shoulder as Marc says, “Vale, couldn’t you ask the premiere organisers again? For you, they might-“
Finally, Valentino makes his way into the shot, gently tugging an arm around Marc’s waist and pulling him in. “It makes sense, moving the date forward,” he says. “They will not change it again, even for me.”
“I just wanted to be there with you,” says Marc softly, and Alex pointedly looks away, refocuses his attention. “You will win for this one, I know, and-“
“And I will win for it whether my beautiful husband is on my arm for its’ premiere or not,” Valentino says, definitively cutting him off. “It is fine, Marc. You cannot miss your filming.”
Alex coughs, loudly, and they both startle. Valentino stays wrapped around Marc, not even turning back to the screen as Alex says, “This is my job, Marc. I need a decision, and I need to be able to book the right plane tickets-”
“Yes, you need to go on being an excellent manager or the podcasters will have your head and mine too, I know,” says Marc affectionately. “Vale can be my manager for the day, can’t he?” He peers up at Valentino, ignoring Alex’s exaggerated groan, and laughs, finally relaxing.
“Stop ignoring whoever it is you are forcing to hide from us,” Valentino agrees. “I will be an amazing manager, and deliver your charge back to you tomorrow with no scandals.”
Marc starts cackling again. The sound of it is nearly worth the startled glance Alex has to cast at Franky, shuffling over on the bed to be more in the sun and blissfully unaware of any potential problems. He brushes a hand across Alex’s leg as he moves, and Alex scowls, mutes himself, and very pointedly announces, “I should have made you switch rooms.” Franky blinks up at him innocently and then shrugs, pointing at the headphones, and Alex sighs again and unmutes.
Valentino peers thoughtfully at the screen, expression too knowing by far, and then adds, “For no extra charge, I will even book the plane tickets for you both and save you some extra time. They must be bored, Alex.”
Franky stretches, and looking at him, Alex is inclined to agree and just hand his job over to Valentino for the day. “In a moment,” he says, sighing and swapping his phone to the other hand. “But I am still in charge of booking things. Marc, you want to fly back to Italy as soon as possible?”
“Yes,” Marc says immediately, only for Valentino to interrupt and say, indulgently, “No, no, take your time. Too much travelling in too few days will make you grumpy, eh?”
“Marc?” Alex prompts, and Marc nods, and doesn’t say anything. He looks thoughtful, subdued again until Valentino pokes at him, laughing when Marc exaggeratedly and not at all believably grimaces. “I’m hanging up,” Alex says loudly, with little to no impact, and then does, tossing his phone onto the bedside table furthest away from him, and regretting it when he remembers he still has to organise transport for Marc.
Sighing, Franky sits up, snapping the headphones off. “You took your time,” he complains, and Alex shrugs.
“Tell Valentino to stay away next time,” he says, “if you want it to go quicker. They’re terrible to deal with.”
“Imagine the struggle anyone unrelated to them would have,” Franky says agreeably, and then reaches over to hand Alex his phone back, with a reluctant look. “Last thing,” he warns, “and then I’m putting it away before you waste my last day in Spain booking plane tickets.”
Alex groans and sends a text to Valentino asking him to organise the transport for Marc.

when discussing maelle's ending, people always speak of lumiére's sentient inhabitants and how they actually deserve a life. and while i agree with that fact, they always forget to speak about child!verso and how he's painting relentlessly. when you bring him up, the answer you get is "but verso never speaks about child!verso!". and yes, for the most part verso doesn't. but even if he doesn't, that doesn't change the fact that the soul of a child is keeping this world alive and that he's tired of it. and then people will say "but he isn't even suffering!". and that's where they're wrong: yes, he is. he misses laughing with the rest. he misses his family. he can't even remember their names. that's one of the very first interactions you have with the faded child, which is a remnant of verso's soul.
and yes, in maelle's ending you can see this child and he seems better. but a question arises: is that truly the same child? or did she paint a version of him that could actually enjoy life outside that space? or, worse, did maelle take over the task? is she going to slowly forget everything and everyone while she dies in a canvas used to escape grief? and after all of this: does a dessendre need to suffer to keep a world alive? is it fair for a world to exist if its existence depends on someone's suffering?

We hear many people saying: "Don't judge" or "You're being judgemental". It is due to the lack of understanding of what judgement is. This is how they judge hypocritically. But here we see how Jesus tells us to judge indeed, and not any other way than righteously. Hypocritical judgment is no righteous way of judging, but righteous judgment by the fruit of our neighbour is the way. It is easy to judge someone by their appearance, but do we ever consider that they may be going through something or are bearing something within? Maybe pain, grief, something tough to let go? This is how we should view people, for each of us is fighting his own fight. Let us therefore seek God's guidance to proper understanding of judgment of man, in order not to abuse the Word of God against those who actually know the true meaning. Bless you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! Amen.

Hold on tight to this time, this place 'Cause everything you know will be erased You were born inside your head And that is where you'll be when you are dead You're just a boy, you are no man And nobody you know will understand You're just a boy, you are no man And nobody you know will understand
