Are we really being honest, if we would judge another? What do we judge others for? Something they do which we hate? Being flawed? Being imperfect according to our standards? Are we any better? When will we wise up and check ourselves first? We are no better than the next man who sins, and yet we are being shown the mercy we don't deserve. Do we think we will be shown any greater honour than others when Judgment Day comes? We won't. We will all be on the same ground before the Righteous Judge, since we are all to be held accountable for what we did. We should not think highly of ourselves, just because we are followers of Christ, but that we are those who should be the example of repentance and God's mercy. So what shall we do here - keep on looking at people with spite for their ungodly behaviour, or actually choose to follow Jesus Christ and show others what repentance and turning to our loving Creator is like. Let us therefore take the second option and help people get to know God properly. God bless you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! Amen.

When evil and vile turns out to be positive…
Verses involving Lord Lucifer 🜏
John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
- Remember, you do not belong to anyone other than yourselves. Lucifer was no murderer, liar, or betrayer. It was god who has taken so many lives. Lucifer has never lied, the truth in him can be so harsh it comes as that way. But he is an honest deity.
Ezekiel 28:17
Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.
- It could be said that it was also Lucifer’s self love and esteem that gave him another push to be exiled. His simple love for himself over God triggered it. He never submitted to god, as he loved himself as he should. Always remember that you come first before others, you must always take care of yourself! You can love yourself, and not be selfish. No god needs your submission to be a king.
Corinthians 11:13-15
13 Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?
14 Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him,
15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering.
- In Satanism, self discovery and expression is key. As the center of Satanism is free will and the act of your own human exploration of life. For no gender should ever forcefully bind you to rules based on the fear of eternity in a lake of fire. Lucifer wanted us to be free, to identify as our own beings!
Ezekiel 28:12-19
You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty...You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till unrighteousness was found in you.
- Lucifer was exiled from heaven, for the simple act of criticism and want for control. Not to be king of heaven, but to question God’s authority. This is why he represents humanity so well, since it is our will to want to succeed and question. You should always question things, instead of submitting without worry.

The Lord is my Rock
A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.
1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High,
2 to show forth Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness every night,
3 upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the psaltery, upon the harp with a solemn sound.
4 For Thou, LORD, hast made me glad through Thy work; I will triumph in the works of Thy hands.
5 O LORD, how great are Thy works! And Thy thoughts are very deep.
6 A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand this:
7 when the wicked spring up as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish, it is that they shall be destroyed for ever;
8 but Thou, LORD, art Most High for evermore.
9 For lo, Thine enemies, O LORD, for lo, Thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10 But my horn shalt Thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn; I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
11 Mine eye also shall see what I desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear what I desire upon the wicked that rise up against me.
12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing to show
15 that the LORD is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. — Psalm 92 | Third Millennium Bible (TMB) Third Millennium Bible, New Authorized Version, Copyright 1998 by Deuel Enterprises, Inc. Lan-Furen's Case and Lan Zhan
A couple of days ago I came across an excellent meta on Lan Xichen over how by not "wanting to know" who is in the right and who is in the wrong, he is able to maintain a schrodinger's cat syndrome and assume the best of everyone. I thought more about what that then meant for Lan Wangji who visited his mother publicly every month.
Lan Wangji is an extremely righteous character. He has a temper against those that he deems as unrighteous. He can absolutely not take it if someone is using their privilege to oppress others; or if, someone is killing innocents for baseless, useless reasons.
Someone like Lan Wangji would not continue loving a person even if they act for their own gains, petty revenge or selfishly. Simply stating, he can't continue loving a person who has left the road of righteousness.
In his mother's case, it doesn't seem as if bigger forces (such as sect politics) were involved; but it was something personal. We do not know what that something was, thus we cannot judge. Thus, he cannot judge.
I believe his coming over to the Gentian House every month shows perhaps the most important characteristic of his:
Lan WangJi slowly shook his head, “One should not comment without understanding the whole picture.”
I find Lan Wangji and Nie Mingjue's insistence upon their sense of justice similar. Even in dire situations, where it seems stupid to act upon your sense of justice, when everyone around you is acting unjustly, they will insist - Lan Wangji stuck in a cave, injured, protecting someone who is being harassed by those who hold power, hunted down by enemies who are much higher on the social ladder, own much more money, and are many in numbers, despite knowing, inevitably it may cause his own demise and fall. Yet, he doesn't care about that. This happens twice. That's his sense of righteousness and justice. Similarly, Nie Mingjue is ready to kill himself as punishment for killing someone who saved him, yet he must kill Guangyao for killing his clansmen and stuff (so much killing with this guy.)
But Lan Wangji is better, as his justice is embedded with empathy, patience and true efforts to understand the entire story before placing his judgement. He's not free from making false judgements, and societal judgement does affect him.
But, he's not holding to any particular judgement to the ends of his life. He is willing to accept new facts and reform his opinion, reframe his thoughts. He's like that guy on twitter who tweeted something tone-deaf in 2012, but is completely against that in 2023, as now he has new information.
So, Lan Wangji doesn't incriminate people. He doesn't hold personal grudges. He is prone to hatred, jealousy and the stuff - that is what makes him human. But he rarely acts upon it, preferring to remove himself from the situation.
He is such a person.
So, it cannot be known whether the glass was filled and then emptied, or whether it was empty and then it was filled; what I mean is we can't judge from just a half-full/half-empty glass of what the context was; similarly, we can't judge from just the other's actions and situations alone of what the intention, purpose, reasoning, etc was. We can't judge evil or bad that easily, and with all those who were involved in Madam Lan's case - all their souls dispersed, and Lan Qiren being Lan Qiren, Lan Wangji can only judge on what he knows.
What he knows is that his mother was a lovely woman and he was happy to see her; so he visits her still. He is not accepting her actions, or incriminating them, as she is not there to defend herself or to accuse others. He doesn't know if the clan was wrong or if his mother was. I believe, with Lan Wangji's character, that he's strong enough to face the actions of those who he loves.
It’d be inconvenient for him to be more specific, such as Lan XiChen or Lan QiRen.
Lan WangJi answered assuredly, “No.”
Wei WuXian was quite confident in Lan WangJi’s answer. To him, Lan WangJi wasn’t the kind of person who’d hide or run away from the truth. If he denied it, that meant it must have been wrong. He didn’t like to lie, either. In Wei WuXian’s opinion, if someone asked Lan WangJi to lie, he’d rather silence himself and not talk at all. Thus, Wei WuXian immediately excluded the possibility of the gravedigger being these two.
So, this. If Lan Wangji felt any of Wei Wuxian's actions were uncalled for, or unrighteous and cruel, he wouldn't have loved him. But, even by the logic of Great Grudges, Wei Wuxian had every right to kill the Wens (the SSC ones).
But that's beyond the point. The point is that Lan Wangji is stuck in a situation where he can't cast judgment, but still, his actions reflect what he knows and has gathered first-hand; what his actions show is pure love, patience, a strong, but sensitive heart waiting for another chance to understand the truth, yet knowing and accepting that it will never come, and being at peace with that.

Prayer to the Protection of the Mother Of God
O all-holy Virgin, Mother of the Lord of the hosts on high, Thou Queen of heaven and earth and almighty Defender of our country, accept from us Thine unworthy servants this song of praise and thanksgiving and bring our prayer up to the throne of Thy God and Son, that He be merciful towards our unrighteousness, and extend His grace to those who honour Thy name and venerate with faith and love Thy wonder-working ikon. For we are not worthy to be forgiven by Him hadst Thou, O Lady, not made Him merciful towards us, for all things from Him are possible to Thee. Therefore we run to Thee as Thou art our swift and undoubted Protector. Hear us who pray to Thee: overshadow us with Thine almighty veil and ask from Thy God and Son zeal and vigilance for our shepherds, wisdom and strength for the souls of those who govern our cities, righteousness and impartiality for our judges, understanding and humility for our leaders, love and concord for the married, obedience for our children, patience for those who have been offended, the fear of God for those that offend, stoutheartedness for the afflicted, restraint for those that rejoice, and for all of us the spirit of understanding and godliness, the spirit of mercy and meekness, the spirit of chastity and truth. Yea, O all-holy Lady, be merciful towards Thy feeble people: gather together the dispersed, guide on the right way those that have gone astray, uphold old age, make the young pure, bring up the children and look down upon all of us with the care of Thy merciful protection. Raise us from the depth of sin and enlighten the eyes of our hearts to see salvation. Be merciful to us both here and yonder, during our wandering in the land of this earth and at the Last Judgement of Thy Son: and make our fathers and brothers who have departed this life live the eternal life with the angels and all the saints. For Thou, O Lady, art the glory of those in heaven and the trust of those on earth. After God, Thou art the hope and Defender of all who flee to Thee with faith. We then pray to Thee and to Thee as our almighty Helper, do we commend ourselves and one another, now and for ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
O my most blessed Queen, my all-holy hope, Receiver of orphans and Defender of the strangers, Helper of those in poverty, Protector of the sick, behold my distress, behold my affliction. On all sides am I held by temptation, and there is none to defend me. Help me then as I am weak, feed me as I am a pilgrim, guide me as I have strayed, heal and save me as I lie without hope. For I have no other help, nor advocate nor comforter, save Thee, O Mother of all the afflicted and heavy laden. Look down then on me, a sinner lying in sickness, and protect me with Thine all-holy Veil, that I be delivered from all the ills surrounding me and may ever praise Thy Name that all men sing. Amen.

Get to believing a lie; now that is a spirit of error. Lies are told because we want something that is wrong, and we have to lie to get it. Not only do we lie to ourselves we get angry when someone points it out wittingly or unwittingly.
But it doesn’t stop there an operation of error goes into effect, lies multiply to hid the first lie. Than God, the truth, lets us go into our world of darkness, controlled by wicked spirit force, where we are tormented every second of the day, a place of no trust, security, or peace; working openly hand to hand with the Devil!
2 Thess 2:11 Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie; 2:12 that they all might be judged who didn't believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

There is absolutely no one that God cannot reach. He has power over the most hardened sinner to change him, as he has power over the largest trees - to bring them down by a sweeping blast of wind. Nothing is outside the reach of His power.
Be careful who you judge unrighteously! That might be God you judge when you judge His servant!
“For He says to Moses: ‘I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.’ So then, it does not depend on man’s desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh: ‘I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display My power in you, and that My name might be proclaimed in all the earth.’ Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden. One of you will say to me, ‘Then why does God still find fault? For who can resist His will?’ But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to Him who formed it, ‘Why did You make me like this?’ Does not the potter have the right to make from the same lump of clay one vessel for special occasions and another for common use? What if God, intending to show His wrath and make His power known, bore with great patience the vessels of His wrath, prepared for destruction? What if He did this to make the riches of His glory known to the vessels of His mercy, whom He prepared in advance for glory - including us, whom He has called not only from the Jews, but also from the Gentiles? As He says in Hosea: ‘I will call them ‘My People’ who are not My people, and I will call her ‘My Beloved’ who is not My beloved,’ and, ‘It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’ Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: ‘Though the number of the Israelites is like the sand of the sea, only the remnant will be saved. For the Lord will carry out His sentence on the earth thoroughly and decisively.’” It is just as Isaiah foretold: ‘Unless the Lord of Hosts had left us descendants, we would have become like Sodom, we would have resembled Gomorrah.’” Romans 9:15-29 (see all of Romans chapter 9)
As the wind sometimes sweeps through with destruction, and wipes out everything in front of it, and sometimes mildly like the breath of God - so it is with the working of the Spirit. The sinner sometimes trembles and is on their face before the truth, and sometimes just as powerfully, just gently drawn to the cross in their heart. God knows exactly what each heart needs - and knows how to open it. No matter how permanently closed humans may judge it to be.
“As those do who have haughty thoughts, and look down on God and others with contempt and scorn. Even against the Holy One of Israel — Whose honour is dear to him - and who has power to vindicate it.” (Joseph Benson)
“And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me. Matthew 25:40

Hebrews 10:26 is among the most misunderstood Bible verses.
It send a shiver down the spine of those who read it, and it scares many Christians struggling with repeated sins.
Hebrews 10:26, “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.”
Does this mean that if we sin against God after reviving the truth of Christ, even once, he will no longer forgive us? Does this mean that our sins are no longer covered by the blood of Jesus?
Certainly not!
What’s important to understand about this verse is the context surrounding it.
The author of Hebrews was writing to Christians who were receiving heavy persecution because of their faith. It was getting so bad that many were considering renouncing their faith in Jesus, and going back to Judaism. The verses surrounding Hebrews 10:26 further drive in this point:
Hebrews 10:23, “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)”
Hebrews 10:28-29, “He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?”
Hebrews 10:30-31, “For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God”.
If these Christians renounced their faith in Jesus, and went back to Judaism, then they would not believe that Jesus is their Savior, and that he died for them. Their sign would no longer be covered by the blood of the spotless lamb, and there would no longer be a sacrifice for their sins.
They would only rely on the law to save them, which the Bible makes very clear, cannot save them on its own. They need someone else to save, they need a Savior.
So, what does the Bible actually say about repeated sins? 1 John gives us an answer.
1 John 1:5-10, “This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us”.
As Christians, we have revived a new nature when we’re born again in Christ. Our eyes have been opened to the destructive nature of sin, and how it wages war against our souls.
But because of the human condition, we will always fall back into sin. It’s our nature to go against the one that is Holy.
However, because we have been born again, we will now hate that we have fallen back into sin. We don’t want to live in sin, we want to be holy, like how Jesus is holy.
1 John tells us that we are all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God. If we claim otherwise, there remains no truth in us. But it also states that God is faithful and just, and that he will forgive our sins. This verse highlights the contrast between our sin, and God’s grace.
When we fall, he picks us up. When we sin, he forgives. When the world condemns, he encourages and convicts. When do wrong against him, he always does what is good for us.
God does not wish for anyone to parish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). So no matter how far you’ve fallen, or how many times you stumble, God will always welcome you back with open arms. Not only that, but he will help you overcome this sin, and get closer to him. The closer you get to God, the looser the grip sin has on your life.
When you sin, God does not want you to runaway from him, but to run to him. It’s when we fall that we need God the most. In the same way that you don’t run from the doctor when you’re sick, you should not run from God when we sin.
God is an inviting God, and he wishes for all of us to be righteous before him. That’s the whole reason he sent his son here to die on our behalf.
Don’t let the enemy twist this verse, or any other verse, to turn you away from God. God’s word invites his people home, not turn them away.
Run to Jesus, because he’s already running after you.
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️
Also, here’s a video that explains this in more detail. Give it a watch!

3 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

STEP 13: NO GOOD CHOICES?
America and other nations are divided, almost evenly in wars of hate. Left and right live around the world in various forms. But mostly no political party can be entirely right or wrong. Sadly, some can be more wrong than others. What can we do? When the parties are large enough elections are uncertain, and legal challenges paralyze most defenses. If they are even enough there may be little chance of real change in a reasonable time.
Christians are a minority; many are called, but few are chosen. Only those who follow the straight narrow way can really maintain our Christian walk. Fortunately, we can seek the Lord for help staying on the path. I’m sure we are all aware of groups that claim to be Christian while operating in ways unsupported by scripture though. Jesus wrote letters to seven churches in Revelation, some good and some not so good. I am glad he wrote to all because there are sometimes a few in dark places who may choose to listen to him instead of their churches. We may be surprised to hear a voice of reason coming from unexpected places. So I retain hope that hope may rise when it is unexpected. Most of the bible delivered the saints with surprise solutions. The Lord knows what he is planning to do even when we don’t have all the details yet.
While we may be lacking details, there are huge revelations about our future in both testaments. God is not to blame if we don’t believe that prophecies are real predictions of our future. And he is not to blame if we ignore real warnings. The bible is more truth than any human leaders can ever fabricate. Too many people believe their lies instead of the timeless map that God left for us to follow. God made this map, the bible, to lead us UP, not left or right. Christians are not called to fight and kill, but to love our neighbors. Only God has the right to judge. We draw people by our good works, not by hate or laws.
The conditions that leave no political choice are probably part of God’s plan.
(And for this cause GOD SHALL SEND THEM STRONG DELUSION, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:12)
That delusion does not include true Christians though. You have a bible full of information and instructions that can keep you on a godly path. We have a deep source of evidence to build our trust in God. We have no reason to place any trust in the leadership of men that we see today. We can’t even trust the news media to protect the truth when they are for sale to the highest bidders. We need not worry about the billionaires, the secret societies, or self-important potentates. God controls world events, not these pretenders. Having read the book of Esther, do you know who ran that show? We don’t need to see his name in the news to know who the power is.

YOU YOURSELVES DO WRONG AND CHEAT
"NO, YOU YOURSELVES DO WRONG AND CHEAT, and you do these things to your brethren!"
1 Corinthians 6:8 (NKJV)
Comment: Here Apostle Paul was addressing the person who claimed to be a believer and did a wrong thing to his fellow believer. That the unrighteous, or the wicked, or the unjust, or wrongdoers, will not inherit the kingdom of God:
8 NO, YOU YOURSELVES DO WRONG AND CHEAT, AND YOU DO THESE THINGS TO YOUR BRETHREN! 9 DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT THE UNRIGHTEOUS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD? DO NOT BE DECEIVED. NEITHER FORNICATORS, NOR IDOLATERS, NOR ADULTERERS, NOR HOMOSEXUALS, NOR SODOMITES, 10 NOR THIEVES, NOR COVETOUS, NOR DRUNKARDS, NOR REVILERS, NOR EXTORTIONERS WILL INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD" (1 Corinthians 6:8-10 NKJV).
Some believers do things and live as If heaven is not their goal.
In another similar passage, Apostle Paul said God avenges for such a dirty act, immorality; a believer should know how to control and manage his or her body:
3 FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD, YOUR SANCTIFICATION: THAT YOU SHOULD ABSTAIN FROM SEXUAL IMMORALITY; 4 THAT EACH OF YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO POSSESS [control, manage] HIS OWN VESSEL IN SANCTIFICATION AND HONOUR, 5 NOT IN PASSION OF LUST, LIKE THE GENTILES WHO DO NOT KNOW GOD; 6 THAT NO ONE SHOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AND DEFRAUD HIS BROTHER IN THIS MATTER, BECAUSE THE LORD IS THE AVENGER OF ALL SUCH, AS WE ALSO FOREWARNED YOU AND TESTIFIED. 7 FOR GOD DID NOT CALL US TO UNCLEANNESS, BUT IN HOLINESS" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-7 NKJV).
There are things pointed out in the above Bible passage which should be noted by every believer:
a. Sanctification is God's will (v.3).
b. Believers should abstain from sexual immorality (v.3).
c. Believers should be able to possess their bodies in sanctification [purity or holiness] and honour (v.4).
d. Believers should avoid lustful passion or appetite, and should not be like the unbelievers, the gentiles, who do not know God (v.5).
e. A believer should not defraud a fellow believer, in having affairs with their spouses. That God detests such, and avenges, If It was done (v.6).
f. God did not call believers to uncleanness but holiness (v.7). ALSO READ: 1 Peter 1:15,16
Any number of believers; lay members and ministers are into the things highlighted above. In today's church, we have heard and seen pastors sleeping with their members, both married and unmarried, a choir master sleeping with members of choirs, we have even heard of a pastor's wife befriending or having illicit affairs with a church member, the people she supposed to be a mother to. The Bible however says God avenges, and whoever is involved in these dirty things will be judged by Him. Believers are to possess their bodies in sanctification or purity or holiness—set their bodies apart for God.
Peace.

Abortion is people’s attempt to justify doing whatever they want with sex and get rid of any consequences they don’t like. Its people being their own god and determining whether a human being (and we are human beings from fertilization) lives or dies. They are prepared to sacrifice (murder) children to the god of self as part of their worship of man.
Of course, it’s only murder from a Christian worldview perspective. Those who reject God have no absolute basis for morality, so everything is subjective, and morality is relative. Thus, they can justify in their own mind doing whatever is right in their own eyes (Judges 21:25).
As Romans states: “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness” (Romans 1:28–29).
We are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image right from fertilization. Abortion at any stage is killing (murder of) a human being. ~ Ken Ham

“The heart’s greatest regret”
What is man's greatest regret at the hour of death?
This life is very short and full of adventures, but it is very precious. When we come to the end of this life, we have only one regret: not that it was short (we have always known this and we accept it), but that we have made it empty, devoid of any spiritual content, because of our negligence. Then, we grieve and are sad. The Fathers say that monks wear black habits in order to meditate on the fragility of this life, on 'the little number of our days', to lament over our mistakes, to strive to 'depart from evil, and do good,’ that is, to avoid evil and gain the good grace of Christ that will accompany us on this final and decisive passage.
We do not regret that life is short. Thanks be to God Who has given it to us. But we regret that we have not thanked Him enough for His blessings, and that we have annulled all His benefits and gifts to us. Then we are sad because we stand before the eternal Judge with fear and uncertainty. We all experience this sadness in our personal prayer of repentance, which brings the end before our eyes.
We see in the lives of the saints that when those who are zealous and work assiduously on their heart approach their end, even they regret that they did not labour more to prepare for the next life. Only this care occupies their mind. Even the saints have this regret. In fact, they live it more acutely than the rest of us because their conscience is refined by the grace of God. Saint Sisoes, for example, was radiant like the sun before his death, and yet he was entreating God to give him one more hour to repent:
This is what they relate about Abba Sisoes when he became ill. The old men were sitting beside him and he spoke to some of them. They said to him, 'What do you see, abba?' He said to them, I see beings coming towards me, and I am begging them to leave me a little while so that I may repent. One of the old men said to him, 'And even if they allow you a respite, can you now profit by it and do penance?' The old man said to him, 'If I am not able to do that, at least I can groan a little over my soul and that is enough for me.'
Our tragedy is that God is absolute in His power, in His love, but also in His holiness, and He cannot mingle with any darkness or impurity. 'For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?’ ‘And there shall in no wise enter into the Kingdom any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie.’
The Lord is merciful and loving, and He gives all things to all; but He is also holy. In Him, there is no spot. And in spite of His great love for us, He cannot mingle and unite with us unless we resemble Him, if only a little; unless we have also put on an acceptable garment to enter the bridechamber of the Lord.

Headcanons about Loki’s kids (and Strongbeard) in the Ducktales universe
cuz someone has to develop them
Jormungandr:
—So one time I read a post about someone talking about “Rumble for Ragnarok” and they said this
Jormungand being really a pretty decent guy, just way too addicted to the crowds’ cheers and praise after millenia of being considered a monster and a harbinger of unspeakable doom, making him even more insecure and prone to get in over his head and lose control than Dewey”
THISSSSSSS I AGREE WITH THIS HC 100%! He’s a decent guy, he really is. It’s just that he’s so prone to getting over his head and forgetting his morals bc he’s insecure about how others view him. Unfortunately, the most recent Rumble for Ragnarok caused him to be frowned upon again like the old times
—HATES being referred to as a “monster” and anyone else being called as such. It’s to the point where he physically has to restrain himself from going full Midgard Serpent and killing people on the spot. Brings back waaaay too many bad memories from his childhood
—Also hated Thor from the very beginning and will never miss a chance to talk shit about him
—He and his siblings knew they wanted to be wrestlers from the minute they were kids and would always roughhouse with each other.
Maybe in the Ducktales universe, Ragnarok was SUPPOSED to be an epic battle where everyone dies but once Odin saw what Loki’s kids were doing, he was like “F it, wrestling it is”
—Best friends with Strongbeard; they formed a bit of a rift after the episode but Jor knows when he’s in the wrong so they were able to rekindle that fire pretty quickly
—Loves his family with all his heart and is very close with Hecka and Fenrir. He may suffer from Middle Child Syndrome but they still have each other’s backs. He just wishes he could see them more often like when they were all innocent kids
—Looks nothing like his parents (I see Loki as a crow/raven like Hecka and Angrboda as an anthro wolf) and he knows it. He tends to avoid the question whenever he’s asked about it
—Is closer to his mother than his dad “because mom didn’t throw me into the sea when I was a kid.”
Hecka:
—As the myth goes, Odin appointed her as ruler of the land of the unrighteous dead (aka Helheim…or would it be Heckheim?) when she was just a child. She’s still bitter about it to this day, even after she realized her love for the macabre bc seriously, who does that to a KID?
Hecka: Then Odin shunned me down here, keeping me as a prisoner in my own realm to watch over the dead
Odin: It was your destiny!
Hecka: I WAS SIX.
—I like to imagine Scrooge’s family went on an adventure to “rescue” Baldr from Hecka in the underworld and that’s where her petty side comes out lmao. She doesn’t show much emotion, but I think this is deserved
—She showed a lot more emotion as a kid, but being a ruler of the underworld kinda changes that
—Nevertheless, she’s made it work and has come to actually like her job. She’s got a big castle, tons of stuff, 2 servants both named “Lazy Walker” (they’re idiots and no, don’t ask) and of course, her loyal pet guard dog, Garm. Although Strongbeard, bless him, is a tad concerned about the names she gave her stuff (like her bed is called “sick bed” and her plate is called “Hunger” like what-). Don’t judge her, she named them when she was a kid
—Lesbian and ace cuz why not
Fenrir:
—As said before, Fenrir sticks with Hecka cuz he feels like he needs to protect his baby sister (cuz apparently she’s the youngest) with his life
—Is usually referred to as Hecka’s pet and while he does kinda act like it, it annoys him
—The incident with Tyr in his perspective was a complete accident. He thought the gods were just playing a game with him. He didn’t mean to bite Tyr’s hand off, he just didn’t know his own strength
—Even though he only communicates through sounds, he’s the brains of the group
Strongbeard:
—His real name is Magnar (which according to google means ‘strength’)
—Himbo. He means well but he can be a bit of a dumbass at times
—Having said that, he always prioritizes doing the right thing even when others protest. His mama taught him right
—Speaking of which, he’s a total mama’s boy and isn’t afraid to say it. His mom was his whole world
—Emotionally unstable due to trauma, no he does not wanna talk about it
—Very sweet and genuine guy, which is why he’s so well-liked
—He’s generous too, he’ll give anyone a strand of his hair just because. He has plenty lol
—Defies the “men don’t cry” myth cuz he has absolutely cried before. Fuck toxic masculinity
—I’m trying to think of how exactly he got his powers and off the top of my head, I’m gonna say it’s from a special object that dwarves created that gives you immense strength.
Strongbeard was born prematurely, very weak and fragile and told that he was most likely never gonna make it. In an effort to save her baby, his mother crushed up the object and mixed with a potion to be fed to her baby boy. When he drank it, he became strong and healthy overnight, eventually growing a magic beard that gave him the physical strength he needed
Yeah I got inspired by Tangled
Bonus Loki headcanon: Loki personally trained his kids in the first place and he says weird shit like this
youtube
#Youtube#aiight i think i got em all#idk why but loki was the first character i thought of while watching the video#god i love doobus goobus#only makes sense for a god of trickery and chaos to say weird shit like that lol#this was kinda fun#still not really a ducktales fan but these guys have been in my mind a lot recently#ducktales 2017#jormundgandr#hecka#fenrir#strongbeard
