If Katniss is one of those people who is "do NOT touch me or I will commit murder" people on her period then absolutely not. I do think that when she's still fairly young, her dislike of human blood prevents her from even thinking about this. But I also think that's something she might eventually be able to deal with in terms of menstrual blood. So. If she's one of those people who has a random horny phase in the middle of it, whether that horny phase happens regularly or just every so often... then absolutely. They try it at least once.

i feel like crying (especially crying women) makes Homelander uncomfortable. it's so funny to imagine watching a movie with him and he can sense when she's getting riled up emotionally. he grimaces and preemptively gets her a tissue like, "Alright, c'mon, it's just... It's just a cartoon rabbit, babe."

he's so emotionally stunted and repressed though, i think someone who's more in touch with their emotions would be good for him. he thinks crying is for kids but hey bud!!! i really think you could use a good solid ugly cry more often!!!!

Ok trick question I’m aware it’d be weird for him not to know a lot about it since he’s her husband. But do you have any headcanons or thoughts about peeta being sweet during her time of the month?

Depends on the story. In canon, I can see him making herbal heat packs for her to deal with the cramps. I think he would try out different foods and teas to find out what makes her feel better. He might even call Mrs. Everdeen for recommendations of things she used to do without Katniss knowing (trust issues). I think the hardest thing for him to deal with would be if Katniss has a "nobody touch me or I will stab you" portion of her cycle. But once he figures out her cues and she passes out of that into an "give me a blanket and snuggle with me or die, Mellark" phase, he's all up for it.

Personal note, I have a small bit of backstory written for Outside Chance Everlark that is Peeta dealing with Katniss's first period and being a little clueless at first but still wanting to help his best friend. He makes her cupcakes. She winds up loving it and demands cupcakes once a month from him, and he's more than happy to oblige.

Read your Emmet at the beach dabble and just imagined if that was a silly way Emmet reunited with Ingo.

Emmets just chilling on the beach with all his Pokémon when he sees something drop out of the sky. He panicked because it obviously the lifeguard hadn't seen anything and it looked like someone got knocked off of their flying Pokémon and plummeted into the ocean.

Emmet either orders Eelektross to save them or rides on Eelektross to go save them. He's either going to be surprised when he reaches them or when he brings them back to shore.

I'll be honest, I don't feel like writing these, but I thought that hey, maybe someone else that's still hyperfixating on submas would be interested. I've been leaving these asks to gather dust in my inbox for what feels like ages now.

So, really, take them. Or don't. But out they go.

Jacob Frye - New Birth Headcanons

- Try as he might, Jacob Frye was never good at hiding his emotions.

- This meant that when he found out his beloved was in labor, he instantly panicked - first on the inside, but it quickly slipped out into the open.

- However, what he didn’t tell anyone was that a good deal of the panic and fear came from losing his own mother to childbirth - something he sometimes still feels like is his fault, despite having no control over something like that.

- And given that Evie was the only person present and available who was aware of Jacob’s most secret fears, she’s the only one who can console him and bring him down from his emotional high to some degree.

- But even then, he gets no catharsis until the moment he hears the soft wailing of the newborn babe from upstairs.

- It was a wonder he had any strength left in his legs, wobbly and achy from the tension he previously held in them, when he headed up those stairs to the bedroom he shared with his wife.

- And yes, the moment he saw she was alright and holding a healthy baby in her arms, he teared up a little.

- Here he is, actually a father now. This is real.

- He also privately swore to himself that he would try his damnedest to be the best father he could be.

- And when it came to the celebration of that birth? Hoo boy, the festivities happened on and off daily for almost a week. Toasting, singing, repeated congratulating - the works.

- Jacob was tempted to invite his Rooks into his home, but quickly realized how bad of an idea that was, so he chose to celebrate at the pub nearest to his house instead, just so he was never too far away from his recovering wife and their new baby.

- Of course, though, not too long after the birth, the baby ended up at the pub one afternoon with their father anyway...well, only for a very short time, before the mother showed up, incredibly miffed at Jacob spiriting away the child like that, while she was napping. (At least, he had the decency to leave a note?)

- She softened, however, when she saw how gently and kindly the baby was being treated as they were being passed around.

- Didn’t mean she still didn’t have a few choice words for Jacob, though - that frustrating, yet lovable man, who only innocently wanted to share his good fortune with his loyal gang. (Why is it always so difficult to remain angry with him?)

- That being said, Jacob better be careful not to bring anything up to her about having another child around the Rooks, because many of the gang members quickly discovered how much they loved the idea of being unofficial aunts and uncles to their boss’ child.

- Oh, wait...did Jacob let that idea slip out in a flirty comment to his wife, after having one too many drinks...?

- And did she actually coyly smile back in approval...?

- Well, guess the gang is going to get their wish after all. ;)

I try to take the fact that people at work ( including at the courthouse ) consider me the official office fashion girlie as a mark that my mental health must be improving after the past year even if I can’t tell but then I remember the time one of our legal assistants sighed dreamily and told me she wanted to be me when she grows up because I’m “ the most put together and adult person ” she knows and I just started cackling half manically and pulled out my pill organizer and said, “ girl, it’s a LIE, do you have any IDEA how many meds I take? I’m UNWELL and the trick is LITERALLY to pretend. ” which of course made me look completely normal and sane to all my coworkers.
