What do you like about leghorns

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING 11/10 PERFECT CREATURES NO NOTES

But no for real, I am so charmed by what big personalities fit inside these little birds. Obviously every bird is an individual and won't always conform to typical personalities, but in my experience leghorns tend to be very bright, lively birds with a good bit of endearing sass to them. They also have a wonderful Chape (chicken shape) with their prominent straight tails, adorabley floppy facemeats, and sleek build.

I did not expect to be so endeared to them when I first added a little white leghorn to the group when picking out my flock as babies years ago (or again years later when a little brown leghorn essentially fell into my lap via spawning in my friend's backyard like a random encounter) but they have quickly become one of my favorite breeds. Ok I have had a few idea's mostly that her father has escaped prison and that he has links to possible arms dealers or something of that ilk that would get the 141 involved. BUT I'm not sure how they would end up she's such a gremlin. I think he would see a little of Simon in her in that she is full of such rage and completely cut herself off from the rest of personal connections.

Maybe her dad and brother were in the army together and the dad kills the brother as a double agent and when he escapes that way? I just want her the have that showdown with her dad. 😂

What will win Kenna's rage and kill him or will she see she's more than that?

Um, can I ask to see your before and afters of your manips? They're witchcraft, I swear. I'm just glad you say they are not AI.

First of all, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays... And absolutely, I’d be delighted to show some of the before and after of my manips with you! As you can tell, you can notice how my style has evolved over time. I began "manipping" back in 2011, initially just for fun and as part of an RP, and made manips for friends, and now that I think about it,  it's hard to believe that was 13 years ago—time flies! My very first manip is, to be honest, cringeworthy by my current standards. However, when you compare that early work on the left to my more recent creations, particularly in my Fallout AU, you can truly see the growth and improvement. 

For me, each piece I make represents not just a visual transformation but also the countless hours I've spent honing my skills and experimenting with different styles along the way. It has been quite a journey for me. You mention AI, and I have seen a growing trend of individuals taking shortcuts by relying heavily on AI technology. This practice strikes me as inappropriate and disheartening. I’m not entirely sure if "offensive" captures my feelings perfectly, but it certainly seems to undermine the genuine effort and creativity that should go into the work to make the piece work. I've been a dedicated hockey fan since around 2012, and it's been quite clear that I’ve been creating a good amount of hockey manips recently. Since "911" has become my hyper fixation, My enthusiasm for the sport and the show is reflected in my two multi-chapter fanfiction stories on AO3 ("Tape to Tape" and "You're In A League of Your Own"), which I talk about… A LOT. Additionally, I participate in a one-on-one role-playing game on Discord with my best friend, @turnerisms. my FCs are Guzman and Stark in this role-play, and both of these characters are depicted as hockey players, which naturally leads to the creation of even more hockey-inspired manips.

Eric/Donna or Jackie/Hyde? I know this is shocking given my url haha. I wrote a whole separate post, but basically, JH has been one of my biggest otps and part of my blueprint since I was 13. And when I put this username, they were still my #1 otp. I still have love for them but due to my view on both characters changing and me preferring Eric and Donna as characters over them, I choose E/D. I do love E/D as a ship tho, so don't get it twisted haha. There's just something so pure and sweet about falling in love with your best friend. Especially after knowing them for a long ass time.

Jenna/Connor or Jenna/KC? I couldn't really GET the Kenna hype tbh. Even when I did start liking KC after more watches, him and Jenna just aren't meant to be imo. They're just very unhealthy.

Jonnor is literally the purest ship ever. I love Connor sm and he treats Jenna like a damn queen. I lov how Jenna EMBRACES Connor's 'nerdiness' (i.e. "you can talk nerdy to me any time."). As far as I'm concerned, in every world, they're now married with two children.

Emma or Manny?

Manny's been my bitch since day one. Always loved her, always will. She's not perfect, but she grows and matures.

Emma really irritates me at times ngl haha. Maybe that'll change on a rewatch but ehhh. S3, S7-S8 (?) are like the only times Emma never annoyed me in my last watch. I do love her though and I like the idea of her being single, thriving, and just being the fun aunt to Janny's kids.

Caroline or Elena?

I don't hate Caroline anymore, but it's way she gets so much slack from the writers and ever parts of the fandom that annoy me. Like the fact that most of the time she gets praised for things Elena is shat on (sometimes rightfully tho haha).

Elena, for all her flaws, isn't the worst human being imo. I actually feel more bad for her than hate her. She still pisses me off at times, but I don't think she's this irredeemable monster.

Last note, but Elena Gilbert does not owe Stefan Salvatore and Damon Salvatore a goddamn thing and I will forever die on that hill.

Barney or Marshall?

I love them both SO MUCH. I wanted to pick Barney because he just makes me laugh, but I have a thing for wholesome men. And Marshall is one of them. I really like his relationship with Lily. Despite their issues, they're really adorable. Honestly I'll go far as to say they're my Stelena.

Porter and Price work together. Which means Kenna (modern) and Amy become best friends. Yes, Amy would suit Porter as well. In fact, I just ship Amy with all the RA guys. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hahaha! No but Amy and Porter would be perfect together too though! I think with Porter who has very strong moral values like early Lucas and commited to protect the good but I think Porter is a bit more light hearted? Please let me know if I'm wrong, but Porter seems more social and has a good sense of humour which I think would maybe encourage Amy to come out of her shell possibly?

Plus Kenna and Amy? Kenna would adore Amy, it would take Kenna a while to warm up as she's just so defensive about anyone getting close to her but with Amy being such a genuine and gentle person she would definitely win Kenna over and gain a loyal to the death friend. Amy would definitely have scary dog privileges.

Amy would be such a positive influence on Kenna too. Kenna doesn't see herself as a good person and dealing with so much anger and guilt I think having someone like Amy who sees past all that and accepting her would be such a light in Kenna's life. Hopefully with Kenna by her side Amy would find someone who is loyal and despite being a bit socially inept and blunt at times would be someone Amy could trust with her problems. And if anyone was trying to get mean with Amy or creepy Kenna would have no qualms chasing them off. Literally.

I think Kenna and John Price would take a looong time to get together. They both see themselves with blood on their hands and just a means to an end to get the end result done. Kenna has so much anger that seeing herself in a relationship that is not just a physical one would be beyond her for a long time. But I think with someone like Price who can understand that and get to know her, have patience with her and in Price she could see a man who she can trust and let go of that anger.

I saw you love red, white, and royal blue and I've just gotta ask you: have you heard of Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins? It's an alternate history novel abt the 1st woman president and her secret sapphic relationship/bearded marriage with her mlm best friend. It also includes a subplot about arson at the White House, ft. An entirely queer main cast and really fleshed out characters, and has a really satisfying ending!

I haven’t heard of it but I am so intrigued because I am a sucker for historical fiction and that dynamic between the main characters sounds so fun to read about. I’ve added it to my tbr i’ll be able to read it soon!
