Theory Time! Mufasa Edition 🦁👑🌅

I was watching a clip from the Mufasa movie this morning, and I read in the comments where someone asked, “Why make the bad lions/outsiders white lions?”. I pondered it for a second, and then it hit me…….. what if the white lions represent the big debate of whether Lion King was a “copy” of Kimba the White Lion????

I mean think about it. There was a bunch of debate and speculation on whether Lion King was an original script, or if it was Disney’s own version of Kimba the White Lion? The similarities are definitely there in plot points and characters of both franchises. It’s a funny theory to ponder whether the bad white lions were a nod at that huge ordeal of originality between the two stories. I mean, the bad white lion in Mufasa is named Kiros, which also starts with a K like Kimba.

I’m probably ready too deep, but it is a funny theory to consider.

Thinking of the new valentines cards for the LADS boys and bow a few of them have Greek names and then thinking back to MLQC.

Haven’t brushed up on my lore for years but we have my husband Lucien as Ares and then there’s Kiro as Helios. Now we have Caleb as Perses and Sylus as Tartarus.

In one version of Greek myth Perses is a son of Helios and that’s why I’m making this connection in the first place.

We got a sun god, a deep abyss god, a god of war, and a god of destruction. Cool, cool, cool.
