I've been studying Japanese for 10+ years (omg) and I've had this Japanese langblr since 2019. I learned Japanese formally starting in high school and although I've never taken the JLPT, I consider myself lower advanced level (N3/N2?) except when I'm not.

hello! guess i am using this blog as a language learning blog since i got pretty into it somehow. mostly just lurked on tumblr before about me i'm ardent (they/them & she/her), 19 going to be a film student soon too i guess also gundam and detective conan fan languages - native english speaker - heritage chinese speaker but i am like HSK 1 negative. i guess i can pronounce the tones correctly. not planning on learning it right now, but will probably go back to it someday. - currently learning japanese, just started recently. i am taking classes, woohoo. what i'll post probably - probably progress updates - random stuff i learned / or stuff during class - language learning experiences/related stuff in general

안녕하세요! I’m jasmin, and this is my Korean Langblr!

i used to have a korean langblr a few years back, but i fell out of study when i left university and got busy with work and life and then having a baby. I still very much want to learn, so im restarting from scratch since it’s been so long. I remember a few things here and there, but im not gonna rely on murky past knowledge so feel starting from the very beginning is the best way to go.

I’ve loved korean culture and the language ever since I can remember. I saw a documentary on tv when was like five or six or so about Korea and a couple other asian countries and I just fell in love. I’ve always wanted to learn Korean, but my schools didn’t teach it and only got to start when I was in university, I completed one semester of the study before I ended up leaving the university for personal reasons and to delve into work. I tried to keep up my studies when i first left, but simply just fell out of it as i got busy.

A little about me:

I am a scorpio sun, leo moon and aries rising.

i’m a tattoo artist.

I am a qualified beauty and massage therapist.

I am currently 25.

I am a mother to a toddler boy.

I am a ISFJ - T.

I love cats, warm drinks, cooking and baking, art, reading, anime and k and c dramas and music.

I have extreme arachnophobia stemming primarily to when I was bitten on my knee ditch by a house huntsman that climbed up my skirt when I used the bathroom when I was 7, but I was a little bit unnerved by them even before. it just made my fear worse.

I prefer the cold as opposed to the heat. It’s easier to get warmer than to get cooler. But also I faint when it’s to hot/I overheat.

I have endometriosis. I have a lot of discolouration and some light scarring all over my back because of my constant and repetitive usage of hot water bottles to help cope with the pain, even with prescription pain killers are being used during my period.

I listen to all sorts of music, I’m not that picky. I have been listening to kpop since i was 16. admittedly i haven’t been listening to it much the last year or so because i’ve just not rly had the time to play music much unless im working and i was on maternity leave for quite a while, im only just getting back into work this year. But i primarily listen to dark r&b, rock and alt pop.

I am not religious. You could say I am spiritual, as there are some areas I do think exist that science cannot explain. I practice my own path of witchcraft. But primarily I believe in fact and what can be proven with science and conclusive evidence.

salut !! i made this langblr to share my language learning progress and to be in contact with other people into languages<3 i'm especially interested in following people who post about their learning progress !!!

about me: - caroline (she/her), 21, finnish, uni student - other than languages i'm interested in almost everything art & culture related :) languages: - languages i'm concentrating on: french (high b1), german (b1), russian (high a2) - languages i'm learning on the side / have learned in the past: swedish (rusty b1), latin, italian (a1) (+ english). not planning on starting any new ones anytime soon..

language goals under the cut :)

some goals for this summer: - french: (1) finish b1 level textbooks and maybe go through grammaire progressive au français intermédiaire and/or avancé (2) get better at understanding natural speech (i can understand radio programmes etc just fine but movies, tv shows and youtube videos are a lot more difficult for me) - german: improve vocabulary, maybe go through a textbook (if i have the time) - russian: catch up on anki (i have over 5k reviews piled up….) and MAYBE finish my (final!) russian textbook - other: maybe try reading a book in swedish and listen to some easy italian podcast episodes, these aren't really that important long-time goals: - french: becoming as good as i am in english (or better..) - german: high b2 or c1 (currently my biggest problems are (1) vocabulary (2) can't speak…..) - russian: being able to read russian lit (+ having basic conservations without too much difficulty) - swedish: reaching a level that's ok/nice for a finnish person…??? as in being able to have a conversation if needed + being able to read contemporary texts (which i mostly am already) - italian: no big goals, i can already understand a lot based on french :) one day i'd like to be able to read italian books with ease and to speak semi-fluently but i'm in no hurry - latin: not forgetting anything i've already learned + finishing OLC 3 at some point (i only have 2–5 chapters to go)

Hi everyone, long time no see. My name is Mi, I'm 24, and a native English speaker. I use masculine pronouns in any language I study, as well as they/them in English.

My old url used to be hangugeo-hands but I changed it because while I do still want to learn more KSL, Korean and Korean sign language aren't the only languages I want to study. I'm shifting my focus to more Spanish right now because I'm looking at a possible trip in the future! That being said, I'll still post other languages as well!

With this challenge, I hope to use it as a fun little game to really motivate me to renew this blog as I continue my studies.

Langblr / Studyblr Introduction !

Hiya everyone! I will be taking the JLPT N2 (second highest level of a state-sanctioned Japanese exam) and I am... very behind on my studying. As such I thought creating a little blog to keep track of my progress and study together! Let me know if you're studying for something!

First of, my name is Hinde, and I learned Dutch and English at a very young age. During my linguistics BA I took Swedish on the side and afterwards I completed a Japanese bachelors as well. I also lived in Iceland for a month or two to get the basics down of that language.

My current goal is passing the N2 of the JLPT. I feel like I am currently hovering somewhere between N3 and N2, where my listening comprehension is on the lower side and my kanji knowledge on the higher. I'm gonna have to put in the work if I am to pass, but I'm gonna do my best to do so!
