Someone pointed out the wanted poster was in the scene on the door where Lucas and Mike are running in the school so it's canon. Summer baby El 🥳 I think she a gemini too so zodiac is the twins and that makes sense based off her character. Now we need everyone else in the party's bdays

lex!! hey hey hey!! wait remind me what scene that is with lucas and mike? i’m not caught up with s5 stuff and it’s been a minute since i rewatched the show. and yes i love the gemini symbolism! i’m not into astrology irl but it’s fun to think about with characters.

before mike’s birthday was revealed as april 7 i headcanoned it as being december 20—i like the april but he also gives me winter baby vibes?

as for the rest of the party i definitely think dustin and lucas have autumn birthdays. i hc dustin as the oldest of the bunch, sometime in mid-september or MAYBE end of august at the earliest. then lucas sometime in november. for max i think she’s either born in january or april, no in between. it would be funny if she and mike were only a few days or weeks apart.

Friendlocke Violet Gijinkas (Part 1/7)

Since the edited episodes are starting to come out, I figured that bc of that and the fact that I've been keeping this in the back burner for a loooong while now, might as well complete all my friendlocke violet gijinkas!! Some are gonna stay the same while others are gonna have slight/ complete redesigns, so please keep that in mind!

LARK:

HUGE nerd. spent most of his time during the Uva Academy studying different kinds of pokemon as well as different fighting styles he can utilize once he is able to go out on his own journey with his very own trainer! Too bad that didn't really help in the long run...

His entire wardrobe consists of McDonald's related outfits. It's fucking insane. He even has some from long LONG ago that aren't available anywhere else.

The bubble pattern on his hair is able to move and change. Nobody knows how this is possible, not even Lark himself. All Lark knows is that his hair looks incredibly stylish!

Speaking of bubbles, he has the ability to blow bubbles whenever and wherever he pleases!

Often keeps himself extremely clean and gets upset if even a small speck of dirt gets on him, despite this he somehow smells like McDonald's food and axe body spray. Disgusting. He's so cool!

Even after death he still likes to hang around the other team members as a ghost, often getting to know the newer members as well as reuniting with the old ones. Sometimes they see him, sometimes they don't. It usually depends.

SARA:

Due to being a human in her past life, Sara is able to actually speak with the other humans in the pokemon world. However she usually doesn't due to it being seen as extremely weird and out of place. She did slip up once while talking in the presence of Arven, who thought it was the weed making him hear things.

Oinkologne are usually unable to do much with their hooves but Sara spent nights practicing how to knit with her new hooves and now she's able to do it flawlessly. I don't know how she managed to do that but go queen!

When first joining the team she'd often have the urge to eat her food related companions. It was a strange time for Sara, but she managed to overcome it.

When Peppy gets sick, she usually is the one who nurses him back to health. She was a human once so she often is able to figure out whatever sickness Peppy has and treat it properly. I suppose she's like a second mother to him.

The bag she carries with her is full of thread that she collected from various Tarountula she encountered on the journey, as well as little things she knits together in her spare time.

For the most part, Sara forgives... but NEVER forgets.

Pastey:

Before joining the team, Pastey was a nameless wanderer. He's been down every road in Paldea and knows almost the entire region (except for Area Zero) like the back of his hand.

He's gotten hurt pretty badly throughout the run (ie. the Mikey fight, the Atticus fight, and ESPECIALLY the final battle), however, he does not gain any (physical) scars from those fights. This is bc he's basically an axolotl, and axolotls are usually able to heal without scarring.

Pastey's "arms" are, to put it simply, mud prosthetics. More info here vvv

Pastey HAS met Mall Bingo once before the run, however, he doesn't recognize her. The only reason he does not recognize her is bc she wears glasses. (You know how people somehow aren't able to recognize Superman bc he wears glasses in his civilian attire even tho his face remains the same? It's basically like that lmao)

Unlike the lightbulbs he eats, the gasoline he drinks isn't really mandatory to his diet. Gasoline is like alcohol to him and he drinks it like an absolute CHAMP.

He goes fishing when there's nothing else to do or when he can't sleep at night. He doesn't do this bc he thinks it's fun or anything, only bc it's a "good time passer" or so he claims. Other members of the team will often sit with him and vent out anything that's troubling them at the moment, and Pastey is always there to listen to them.

And that's pretty much it. Next is Joe, Hannah Ü, and Mykyie!

What part of the Midwest are you in? I’m in Nebraska, but you post photos of birds I’ve never seen in my area

Hello! I am in the upper-Midwest, close to the Wisconsin-Illinois border. I can understand why our wild bird populations are quite different.

I have been to Nebraska twice and I noticed that you have a wider selection of "prairie" birds, whereas I live in the middle of 700+ acres of densely-forested conservation land. My birds lean heavily toward the "woodland" variety.

Perhaps you see birds that are more common in Western states, such as this Lark sparrow? I took this image as I was driving to Colorado some years back.

“Goose.” Danny blinks, twists the cigarette around to one corner of his mouth, and frowns at Lark through the blue haze of smoke and the flicker of strobing lights. Around him, the people at the table twitter. Danny scowls half-heartedly, folding up his hand of cards at a playful tease of Oooh, someone's in trouble from the too warm body threaded lightly across his lap. The tips of Tesla's nails trace the outside of his bottom lip, the smear of gel rouge. “C'mon, I'm not —” he starts, but maybe slurs, because he's elbow deep into his second bottle of tequila, the back of his hands tacky with lime and salt and lipstick. But also doesn't get to finish because. Well. The gambling den is, in fact, Lark's pet project, so. What she says, goes. Even if that means she upends a whole table of black jack under the boom of the club's bass at a not so insignificant monetary loss. Danny lets the smoke fall from his lips, the cards from his hands, and raises them high as his fair-weather friends immediately scatter with yelps at flung chips and glass.  The music doesn't stop. And neither does Lark.  A hand wraps up in the loose collar of his shirt, hauls him up from his seat. Danny… should probably be worried about this. It's kind of. Hard to be. He doesn't get to drink this hard or much too often, but today was special. Tesla even shared her favorite lip liner because— “— fucking doing, you piece of shit?” Lark hisses, and nails him right in the stomach with the snap of a fist. “Answer your fucking phone!” “Fuck!” Danny squeaks, folding. Ow. Today is a bad day to get disciplined for fuck all — “Lark, what the hell —” He's dragged down onto her knee, and. Breathing is optional. He remembers that. Jesus Christ. Danny gasps, and just. Hits the floor when she lets go.  The music doesn't stop. Lark's boot drives hard into his stomach once, twice, thrice, and Danny feels every inch of, of the grief like needled spikes to the back of his eyes.  A laugh escapes his lips, and the next kick splays him out on his back. Danny wheezes, desperate to hold on to it but — the warm haze dissipates entirely just like that.  “What, what, why would Bossman —” “You were supposed to have been with her!” Boot, meet side, again. Fuck. “Why the fuck weren't you with Crow, you fucking drunk!” Crow? This is about Crow? But he. She let him have the two days off; it's his — “You were supposed to be with her!” “I —” Lark bends, her dark silhouette rushing up so fast, and all Danny can do is try to breath through the pain as she lifts him again by the now ruined front of his shirt.  “Crow is dead, Goose,” she spits low, just for him, and he. Doesn't believe her. Can't believe her. “W-What?” he gasps, hands finding hers, fluttering in disbelief. “Lark, Crow can't be —” “You were supposed to be with her,” Lark repeats, and shakes him. “Why the fuck weren't you with her?” Crow isn't dead. She can't be.  Danny swallows and says Lark, t-this isn't funny, what the hell is going — She drops him, his head banging back against the unforgiving concrete and —  “C-Crow let me off for —” Lark hops back, then forward. Danny's head snaps sideways from the kick, under the crack of his nose. It hurts. The music doesn't stop. It's my birthday, Lark, did you forget?

he should have been there. so he gets harder on Finch (Stephanie) too. tries to stop drinking, and then goes thru withdrawal and rebounds worse than litu Danny ever would

he just... kind of forgot that everyone around him dies, and its always his fault...

i mean.... all 3 of them, but i guess the one who's the biggest romantic is peeta. i don't necessarily agree with his method but i absolutely do respect his grind and how dedicated of a yearner he is. also he 100% does the more traditionally romantic things for gale and katniss, whereas the two of them would break out into hives if they tried to do anything romantic On Purpose. you're getting spur of the moment sweetness or nothing

gestures vaguely at gale. just like with peeta, i don't really agree with his method but i Do understand why he's so easily jealous in the series and respect it to a point. i feel like after he gets older and goes to therapy he gets less Like That bc he has the space to realize that he doesn't have to resource guard his people anymore, but i do think that possessive streak never really goes away either. i actually think katniss would surpass him in terms of territorial behavior at some point bc where he tries to chill out, she just holds on even tighter ghjkl;'

t = terms of endearment; nicknames! who’s crazy on them, and who do they make cringe? what’re the go-to’s?

gestures at gale again, the king of cringe-y nicknames. catnip is the og ofc, and i think he tries an entire gauntlet of names for peeta; pizza, pita, peter, wheat-a, etc. i feel like katniss has made her peace with the nicknames and just rolls her eyes at most, but peeta would try to come up with nicknames for gale in retaliation. however his proficiency with wordplay does not extend to nickname generation so he gives up after he calls gale "windy" and gale almost throws up from laughing too hard

8: She's not necessarily suspicious of anyone (thinks everybody is good deep down and all that) but at first, Lark thinks Lae'zel is not someone fit for living and moving as a group. That changes over the course of their journey, of course- they become best friends.

16: She is fond of kuo-toa and any type of snake!

18: She was trying to get to Baldur's Gate after her mother died, so she would probably just continue on with her journey.

25: Death- this card might have a negative connotation at face value, but it represents change and transformation. Lark's mother's death is also a significant event in her life, an event that ignites change for her. Her story is one of transforming into the best version of herself, and sharing that energy with others; a story of rebirth, of finding what living truly means for her once she finds her people (the companions, of course). In this sense, I think this card fits her very well- but it's also the card associated with Scorpio, and my hc for Lark in the modern au is that she's a Scorpio.

30: Her ability to heal others- not in a "I have healing spells" sense, but in a "this person's presence inspires healing" sense.
