They've been dating for a month.

In this month, Barty learns a lot of things about Evan. Barty learns Evan likes to tease, learns the way his body moves when he's flirting, the tone on his voice, every single tone of his voice actually. Learns his nervous tics and the way he snorts if he laughs too hard. Barty feels unable to do anything other than look at Evan at all times.

He also learns Evan likes to kiss. He likes to kiss a lot, passionately, all tongue and bites and hands tugging eagerly at hair. Barty loves Evan's hands on his hair. Loves Evan's lips on his. Fuck, Barty feels like he could eat Evan whole with how much he loves him. Devour him until there's nothing left.

They haven't gone anywhere further than kissing though, and fuck if he isn't dying to get Evan naked on his bed. So he tries.

It is a good night, they had easy classes, a good studying session, and are currently making out in Barty's bed. Things get weird the moment he takes Evan's shirt after his own. He knows Evan, has learnt every single thing about him, and something is off. The eagerness on his kisses is different, less passionate even if as intense. He isn't actively seeking contact anymore, just taking it. His gasps sound false suddenly, so Barty reels back and looks at him.

Evan looks as perfect as always, like a fucking angel fallen from heaven right into his bed. His breathing hard and his bare chest sweaty.

"Why'd you stop?" he asks confused, and Barty only looks at him for a bit.

"Is everything okay? Do you want to keep going?" He asks back, because one can never be too sure, and he's not about to fuck up their first time. They're laying side by side looking at each other, still in a tangle of limbs. Evan's brows shoot up in disbelief.

"What do you think?" He asks with a smile, a hand tangling in Barty's hair. It doesn't look like his smiles. This is— no, something's definitely wrong. It feels like an ick he can't quite scratch.

"I don't know, that's why I asked" he stops Evan from pulling him closer. Keeps looking at him, trying to find what is going on. Then, Evan's jaw clicks, and Barty knows immediately. He knows because he's spent their last month, fuck, their last years, learning every single movement on Evan's body. He's not answering, so Barty talks again "you don't want it" he tries to reel back, and is fastly drawn back closer.

"No, I— I can do it, I can do this for you" Evan's behaviour changes so suddenly it feels like whiplash. He sounds almost desperate "I can be good for you come on, take me, take what you want" Evan's mouth is on his, then on his neck, and for a second he gets distracted again because fuck that feels good, but soon enough he pushes him back again.

"No, hey, Ev" Barty tries. Evan is a mess of mumbles.

"I'll be good, I can do it" he repeats grabbing at Barty through wet eyes. Oh. Oh hell no.

"Evan" he tries, and Evan only becomes more eager, climbing on top of him, unbuttoning his jeans "Evan stop" his hands come to grab his. Then Evan looks at him, really looks at him. "I don't want this if you don't"

"I thought I—"

"You don't have to do anything you don't want to" Barty assures, and finally the tears come. He lets go of Evan's hands and watches as he tries to hide his face away, still sitting on top of him.

It takes a while to calm down, and by the time it happens they're both sitting cross legged each on one end of the bed, facing the other.

"I don't... I don't like sex" Evan says when asked.

"Okay" Barty simply says "then we won't do that" Evan looks up, brows furrowed, pained look on his eyes.

"Barty, I won't like it, never have wanted it and I don't think I ever will"

"It's fine, then we'll never have sex" he shrugs. It's okay, he only wants Evan if he wants it too. "But, uhm, you've had other partners, right? Did you..?"

"Yeah, and I hated every part of it" Evan admits looking away. Barty feels the need to kill every single one of his ex's.

"You don't have to do that with me, I don't want you to do anything you don't want to" Evan looks even more confused than before "We don't have to kiss if you don't like it either"

"No, I— Uhm... I like that" his cheeks are turning red, his smile coming back, and this time Barty believes him. "I like it a lot, actually"

"Great because I like that too. A lot." Barty smiles back.

And maybe there is a lot to talk about, a lot of lines to mark down so they aren't crossed, but for now they lay in bed and kiss.

this is a lot so tiny warning in advance but i have a few things;

@ the person in the reblog tags saying that “now Jamil isn’t allowed to have curry” (skip to second paragraph to see my reply to og post), no, kalim literally gets Jamil curry chefs to learn from for his birthday, and Kalim literally goes to a cooking prep just for spice-based dishes (which would include curry). he never explains specifically why Jamil getting a coma through curry = curry is banned, we just assume the only reason is bcuz he is traumatized. it may have something to do with the fact that the spices in the curry make it that much harder for Kalim to figure out if there’s poison or not and that was one mistake he doesn’t plan on making again. and he learnt poison detection at all specifically so jamil didn’t need to taste test for him. projecting ideas onto them that canon already disproved (“kalim banned it and Jamil can’t eat it anymore!!1!”) is part of the problem and why people even emphasize kalim’s trauma at all, to at least get people to start looking at the character truly instead of an idea of them in their heads. i am brown and grew up in a poor family so if you wanna play race olympics too then let’s do this 💪 genuinely i just enjoy kalim more bcuz although both jamil and kalim are dishonest & hypocrites, one of them doesn’t then make it someone else’s (many someones) problem to “truly understand them” despite the dishonesty. kalim gets mad at jamil bcuz jamil isn’t getting what he wants for himself and resorting to smth that made him overblot in book 4, and its how you know kalim is a genuinely selfless person. as someone who’s been in jamil’s position one of these is more tolerable to me esp since the guy doesn’t mind sharing his wealth, and the other is a lot more privileged being in that position than i ever was and still wants more (jamil character song lyrics drop). (emphasizing this, kalim doesn’t correct any of his siblings when they call him nii-sama, but jamil gets to use only kalim’s name)

back to the actual post. i think people brush over the fact that kalim learnt how to detect poisons himself without Jamil needing to taste test for poison all the time. which is why, again, people are saying to pay attention to the fact that it’s Kalim who is the target of being poisoned and not Jamil. talking about jamil’s lack of understanding isn’t about his lack of sympathy (although this is something that makes me feel less sympathetic, not of his situation but in general, bcuz you do reap what you sow). it’s his lack of understanding of Kalim’s skills (ie saying in book 5 that there’s no way Kalim would be able to detect a magic curse used as poison for a murder attempt … until that’s exactly what he does with vil) (and it’s bcuz he pays attention to people that he was able to do this) (also in kalim’s lab cost where jamil says he couldn’t possibly make the meals in a day) (until… bcuz ruggie had kalim’s help that’s exactly what happened) (and before you say “but Jamil vocalized this!” jamil vocalizes a lot of things that are or aren’t true and kalim has the patience of a saint to not have punched him over the dorm leader thing in book 4 when Kalim had asked him about it all the way in the beginning of the year in his ceremony robes. he even gets upset with Jamil bcuz Jamil keeps calling him stupid and still expects him to sort all the mixed messages of what Jamil rly wants) (despite this kalim genuinely wants to try to figure it out with the real jamil, the one who isn’t honest - hard path to good results is the Scarabia way)

like yeah jamil doesn’t have sympathy for Kalim, this is a fact; he along with Kalim’s dad are the two people who basically told Kalim to suck it up bcuz it’s his fate. he doesn’t cope with it in the way Jamil wants him to, but people confuse kindness for carelessness, which is Jamil’s problem bcuz Kalim’s kindness protects + helps Kalim, and kalim was told to just cope when it came to his (emphasizing on his) fate and has taken precautions himself to make sure he isn’t poisoned. and there is a difference between his kindness and carelessness - like Kalim yelling at Vil over trying to poison Neige in the moment (and Jamil still finds a way to make it about Kalim being careless which Kalim almost yells at him for too, but just thanks him afterwards for saving them) or Kalim yelling at Jade for saying OB group could possibly be dead. and with the way the Asim family raised kalim (to be isolated - he couldn’t even go to middle school even though Jamil was able to attend), it’s also why i don’t think jamil is supposed to be taste testing Kalim’s food

i think a lot of people misconstrue what was actually enforced on Jamil in terms of his servitude to kalim vs what we think. in Jade’s Halloween story the adults yell at a younger Jamil for cooking bcuz “children aren’t supposed to cook with fire”. there’s a really weird emphasis on safety there when everything else suggests that they didn’t care about jamil. eventually, he did take on this task, but when and how wasn’t specified. it makes sense, since his backstory mainly shows his parents telling Jamil to be second to Kalim in everything, but nothing else - not even from the Asim family. we never question why jamil didn’t have trauma from being poisoned by curry or why smth like this wasn’t a part of his woes in his backstory. i think it’s fair to assume that he just didn’t regret choosing to do it, like how he’ll never regret choosing to protect kalim (and says that Azul mischaracterized Jamil in book 7 bcuz Kalim made the contract with Azul, which Jamil wouldn’t have let happen). not to deny it shaped his identity and what lengths Jamil himself will go to to get things done, but again his problems with kalim were about him having to be second to Kalim in everything bcuz of jamil’s parents, and Kalim’s seeming lack of care for it (it’s implied in book 4 jamil backstory that Jamil was expecting Kalim to notice but kept on getting blindsided by him and dropped his expectations) (doesn’t help that he normally sees Kalim as useless and unskilled) (in the same vein, it also doesn’t help that Jamil simultaneously wants to show his skill and vocalizes getting less work at the same time) (bcuz kalim was always trying to look for ways to help jamil even before book 4 but again - mixed messages. does he want to be voluntold to show his skills or does he want to rely on someone to help him? does he want both at the same time? does he want it with people other than kalim? lots of kalim’s interactions with jamil involved kalim trying to answer these questions but it goes under the radar. when kalim isn’t hypnotized in book 4 he’s still trying.)

he does hate Kalim’s lack of care for their situation, but like alab nariya moment where kalim stalking Jamil doesn’t register to Jamil as “this is a problem because this is a crime” but “this is a problem because Kalim used his power to be able to do it” (and cater is the one who takes a double take at this and mentions the priority), it has everything to do with Kalim’s exercise of privilege and not what it means to Jamil. (which is also why, despite knowing Kalim was raised to be forgiving and to have a “suck it up” attitude when it comes to people who harm him, and Jamil actively complains about it) (even tho he was one of two people who encouraged it haha…) (Jamil still believed he and his family would get thrown out if he did the slightest thing wrong against Kalim) (and this in itself is also bcuz Jamil didn’t understand why the adults wanted to curry Kalim’s favour so badly bcuz he’s useless af. there is no other option in his mind except that there would be a horrible punishment awaiting if they don’t) (“who would want to be your friend voluntarily??” -> this question gets answered later). there is def the question of why jamil’s priorities are like this but ill leave that for others to talk abt.

also kalim also went into a coma! i… i can’t believe i have to say this… tunnel vision is real. (see 4-7) the book does also touch on the curry incident, but its vague on whether these two happened at the same. it does help that kalim says “it was only found in my food”. he really wanted to emphasize jamil’s suffering and ignore his own, so he was vague - like usual - but eng version does clear this up that they both went comatose bcuz its harder for Kalim to be vaguer about it) (and kalim prioritizing other people and debasing himself and his feelings for other people, despite what they do to him, including forgiving them, is what Azul says Jamil most likely finds annoying) (but kalim will also do this to support jamil) (and hey book 7 also expanded on this to emphasize that Kalim forgiving people is a choice and not something he always wants to do) (like ofc he has privilege but he can’t change that? it’s not like money = evil and kind of money but not rly = good. how he chooses to use it is what matters. if you want him to learn to punish people over what they do to him bcuz it’ll make Jamil’s life easier, then jamil would not have gotten the same outcome when it comes to consequences as in game) (and he still would have been pushed to do a book 4 anyway, even if kalim was more punishing! bcuz the problem isn’t Jamil taste testing for kalim but again his parents telling him to come second to him in everything) (which now I’m wondering if people actually want kalim to do it, not bcuz it makes sense to kalim’s character, but to affirm jamil’s perspective… interesting meta conversation that just annoys me bcuz it’s also why people like talking abt kalim not knowing how to do anything and then leave him at that instead of seeing his development and the earnestness that the game explicitly talks about multiple times that motivates him to improve) anyway, like Kalim tells Jamil, he didn’t do anything else to Jamil after book 4 bcuz he likes interesting people and the variety of people at NRC.

anyway to end off. they both can be unreliable narrators but it just so happens that kalim (used to be) an unreliable narrator in the “i will affirm and support everything Jamil does” direction, while Jamil is… the exact same with kalim except his gets dismantled explicitly by the narrative multiple times, even before book 4, because ultimately it is jamil’s story. does perspective=truth? not rly esp when Jamil contradicts himself… a lot lmao. still wrapping my head around him complaining about how forgiving kalim is and somehow not registering that applying to Jamil coming first sometimes too (that’s bcuz the only people giving him consequences for it are jamil’s parents and he thought they were an extension of the actual rules) (Futaba did call Jamil a clumsy person…)

so i really hope people actually read all of this + go to the stories to confirm for themselves instead of seeing one word they don’t like and creating a problem from it bcuz yes. the vignettes + events outside of book 4 does explain some of their situation well and doesn’t leave things that ambiguous…

thinking abt jamil and kalim today. i don't like when ppl say kalim's life isn't really that great in a way jamil doesn't see and if only jamil could understand that then he wouldn't be so resentful of kalim's privilege. like my opinion is that No that's exactly Why jamil's resentful actually. jamil Sees the ways that kalim's life sucks. but he just does not have a lot of sympathy for kalim because he goes through those situations with kalim, and he sees the difference that comes with the level of privilege kalim wields. and to him that makes those struggles kind of laughable in comparison to his own.

like yeah kalim has had attempts on his life and still sits and eats at the same table as people who try to poison him . and nobody is denying that having people you know trying to assassinate you isn't traumatic. but also like canonically who do you think is most at risk of consuming that poison. Kalim??? or his POISON TESTER. jamils eating at that exact same table And he sure as fuck is not forgiving that assassin the same way kalim is able to because He has to make sure kalim's stupid forgiving nature doesn't open up the perfect avenue for this guy to try murder Again. kalim has the privilege to forgive this guy and be gracious JAMIL DOES NOT!!!!

another great example is the reason behind why kalim doesn't like to eat curry. poisoned curry sent jamil into a coma and kalim got distressed about it. Obviously this is traumatic for kalim . but you know . Who else . It would affect...... THE GUY IN THE FUCKING COMA....? kalim has the privilege to say "I never want to eat curry again because it sent Jamil into a coma" and it's just Done because he's the boss. jamil Does Not have the privilege to say "I don't want to poison test kalim's food again because it sent Me into a coma" because he has to serve kalim. and it doesn't matter what jamils personal feelings are on curry even though he was the one who GOT POISONED BY IT. do you get it now. is it clicking

The MCU World's Government in the aftermath of CATWS in TFATWS

I re-watched the first three episodes of tfatws on the plan last week (I don't think I've watched a full episode since I finished it when it first came out) and while this time around I have a lot more opinions than I did during the first watch, there's one thing that frustrated me to no end.

The government learned nothing from the events of catws.

(I can't even be surprised at incompetent governments, fictional or otherwise, but that doesn't stop me from being angry)

In CATWS, we learn that Operation Paperclip, in which SHEILD/ the US government recruited HYDRA/Nazi scientist to contribute their intelligence to the state's scientific research. In the MCU, this backfired through Arnim Zola secretly using SHIELD resources and rebuilding HYDRA as a parasite.

During the climax, we see Natasha release all of HYDRA's files onto the internet for public viewing. And we can be sure that Winter Soldier files are included in that public release, due to in Civil War 1, Bucky's Identity as the Winter Soldier being public knowledge and 2, Zemo being able to track down Karprov and learn about the Stark's assassination.

But then we get to tfatws, and just within the first three episodes, there are two things:

1, Senator Atwood

The person Bucky mentions during his therapy session in ep1 is Senator Atwood, a HYDRA operative who was given power by the Winter Soldier (God knows what the hell that entails). And REMAINED IN OFFICE, WHILE ACTIVELY MAKING THREATENING PLANS AGAINST HER OPPONENTS NINE YEARS AFTER THE FALL OF HYDRA.

I would imagine one of the first things you would do after the betrayal and fall of a massive intelligence agency with all their dirty secrets publicly avaliable would be clean out of rest of the bugs, which we do see at the end of catws when the CIA arrests Senator Stern.

But then why the fuck was Atwood still in office and hold power for so long, and why the fuck did Bucky have to personally deal with her? You would think after the fuckery with HYDRA the government would work on chasing the snakes out. But this bitch was handed over to the authorities by BUCKY. Even though supposedly her dirty laundry should be out in the wild along with the rest of the HYDRA files.

2, Doctor Nagel

Doctor Nagel explains that he was brought into HYDRA's Winter Soldier program to recreate the super soldier serum after Siberia. So to start with, this guy, regardless of whether or not he is psychologically loyal to HYDRA, is cool with working with HYDRA on a program that tortured and brainwashes an innocent man into a killer machine who wreaks havoc.

But after HYDRA fell, HE WAS RECRUITED BY THE CIA.

He proceeded to call himself a God in the next sentence, so clearly he's no good guy.

My point is HAS THE CIA NOT LEARN ANYTHING FROM THE FALL OF SHEILD IT'S THE EXACT SAME DAMN THING

The entire government learnt absolutely nothing from the events of CATWS, which unlike us audience, it's an ACTUAL EVENT THAT PEOPLE LIVED THROUGH, and have the audacity to blame everything on the Avengers, the people actively working to fix things.

Jesus Christ, this is why I'm on Team Cap when it came to Civil War. It is the highest level of incompetence.

top tip for new gif people because i've seen a few recently (which is really cool) - tumblr will compress your gif to a width of 540px when you upload it. this compression won't retain as much quality as if you just resize it to 540px across in photoshop/whatever program you use. tumblr will suck the life out of your beautiful crisp 1080px gif whereas photoshop will do its best not to (resizing in vapoursynth or similar is ideal but that's not necessary and often too much effort for adults with real lives)

He is happily living his 'human' life with his human mother, he invites Kuwabara (the only human of the team) to the marriage of his mother to a new man, he is going to have a new step-brother. His past has a trail of dead bodies. He gives his new family a vacation as a present. He is playing politics. How's the honeymoon, mother? The man I blinded because I didn't care is treating his people the way I treated him -he was not like this.

Yusuke asks him who to deal with the possibility of doing wrong in the past and Kurama answer is to not think about it.

I wanted to do a big piece before the month ended and I had been thinking on drawing a study of "The Nobleman with his Hand on his Chest" by El Greco with Slayer for a good while, because I adore that painting and believe it fits him, since it has a mysterious yet noble aura to me. Very dandy!

I love Slayer's Rev2 Color 4, so I got really happy when it returned as Color 10 in Strive, now with a very stylish nail polish, too.

been sorting out my twitch a bit more (which i honestly should have done weeks ago when i started but oh well) and now hopefully the settings are better and my mod (and isn't that nuts that i have a mod now! ty!) is equipped with the permissions necessary to smite any assholes that somehow don't understand how to interact with other people on the internet 😌 because of this i WILL be streaming tonight! i plan to stick to my usual time but i might actually start a little bit earlier because i've actually had a fairly productive day today and i also have to be in town tomorrow so i shouldn't stay up too late if i can help it (we all know how that's gonna end haha)

slowly considering getting better gear to work with since this isn't just useful for streaming but also for self-tapes etc (i'd like to get a better quality microphone to start with, then a better camera, and very maybe a green-screen that i can also use for at home photography and artistic projects - all of this is mostly me wishing since i still don't have a job, but it's things to move towards which is a good motivator!) but also it's a little embarrassing to admit that out loud because of the streamer/gamer stigma that's still hanging around so, we'll see!

Danny Fenton died at fourteen. He came back. He didn’t die right. He became a hero. He became a hero because he loved amity park. Not the people. But Amity was his home.

Till it wasn’t. He was a monster to the people. Evil, ghost scum, disgusting. He hated it. Amity wasn’t safe for him. It wasn’t a home. Amity park was a graveyard. A place of everything he’d lost, perhaps it was time to move on.

So with tear stained cheeks he left. He left his humanity behind. He lived in the realms. He thrived. He learned. But he still haunted the place that could have been his home.

Danny Phantom was still hated, his name still spat on. But so was Danny Fenton. That hurt. It hurt to have his parents talk about him like a stranger. Like he was some cautionary tale.

They said the ghosts had gotten him. Had dragged him of, had killed him. They said it was his fault for not being careful. Yes he always believed the ghosts weren’t evil. Look what became of him.

Danny had loved them for years. Loved them when they shot at him. Loved them when they talked of ripping him appart. He was a ghost. They hated ghosts! Besides they didn’t know he was Phantom.

but now? Now He hated them. He’d bee. Their son. He’d been their child. “Danny Fenton, his curiosity his undoing.” That’s what they put in his gravestone.

not beloved son. Not kind friend. No, they put “his curiosity his undoing.” That hurt. But the words didn’t matter.

No it was the fact that when he’d first gotten a gravestone, come to watch the fake corpse be lowered into earth he’d expected them to be there. They weren’t. They were back in their lab. Like always.

Except it wasn’t a track meet. It wasn’t a soccer game. Or a parent teacher meeting. It was his burial. And they’d missed it, to chase ghosts.

He ignored that. Perhaps they’d forgetting. They forgot a lot of things. They remember eventually. They’d come by. Right? Surely they’d come by, if just to leave a flower. Just one? Surely.

So he waited.

And waited.

And they didn’t come.

So he moved on. He built a life outside of them. A life with him and Dani and Jazz. He ruled the realms, learnt from clockwork. He grew up.

Years passed, he learned how the realms worked. How the people were, he learned. The full extent of his powers. Back in Amity Park Daniel Fenton became a memory. Back in Amity Park Phantom’s name was still cursed.

until someone remembered him. Clark Kent had made a roadtrip of visiting his parents. They ended up stopping in Amity.

He heard about Phantom. Heard how they cursed him. He asked about it. They told him about a monster. An evil no good beast.

He didn’t believe them. Phantom sounded like a hero. A hero still learning. He also sounded like a child. So he asked around some more. He met Tucker Foley, visiting his parents for thanksgiving.

He told a diffrent story. He told about a hero. A young hero. He told him how he’d save people, how he’d get hurt. He talked about him with a reverence.

Clark asked what happened. Because heroes don’t just disappear. They don’t just abandon places. Especially not after fighting so hard. Tucker didn’t know what to say. So he lied.

He told him that everyone thinks he left for no reason. But my guess is he left because of Danny’s death. He talked about how Danny didn’t think they were evil. He talked about how the two made the same puns. How they looked the same.

He told him his guess was they knew each other In life. That they were related. He told him Phantom was always the same age. They could have been twins, he said with a laugh.

Clark leaves, he has thanks giving at his parents. And he studies. He learns. He sees the CPS reports. He reached out to Jazz, she tells them her parents were unstable, tell him their parents were unstable. She cuts of the call after saying “they got him killed at 14.”

Clark notices. Fourteen wasn’t when Danny died. He died at sixteen. Phantom is their sibiling. The eldest child, the one who died however many years ago. But Jazz remembered him.

I went through all companion banters on DanaDuchy's channel after playing the game to write down all facts about companions/the world that I haven't seen brought up anywhere in the game as a writing reference (and for funsies).

Note: This list may not be exhaustive. I might have missed some something or didn't write it down because I considered it common knowledge. If you have anything to add, please DM me or send an ask! (do specify what banter the information is coming from, though)

Note 2: Posts from this series (mostly) don't include information from banters specific to quests or between companions and faction members. I plan to do another playthrough to capture more of those and will add any relevant info to the character posts.

Family and the past:

Lucanis learnt to cook while helping the kitchen staff at the villa when he was a little boy. One of his motivations was learning how to make churros

Side note: Lucanis mentions that cioccolata calda was his favourite drink when he was a baby, and he serves churros to a romanced Rook who picks cioccolata calda as their favourite drink. It’s all coming together! 

Lucanis wanted to be a Crow when he was a child (at least most of the time)  

All of Lucanis's relatives were Crows as well, and all of them were killed by a rival Crow house

Home/Family Life (Pile one: Tigers Eye, Pile Two: Amethyst and Pile Three: Black Tourmaline)

Pile one: Tigers Eye

At the moment, your home and family life might feel a little chaotic. Maybe like you’re pulled in every direction and don’t know how to ground yourself. 📖​Words aren't the only way for a human to communicate. Over years of a harsh life Chrollo has learnt to read the language of one's body as fluently as he does with his books. This makes the situation for you a lot easier as he is always able to tell from one single glance at your body how you're currently feeling, one look from you enough to convey what you are unable to express in words. Always harboring an interest to learn about everything he doesn't know, Chrollo quickly learns how to use sign language for you so that you can communicate with him by using it. The Phantom Troupe actually makes an effort to learn the language as well since you're Chrollo's darling though with mixed results. Still, he gifts you a beautifully wrapped notebook in which the two of you often write in to talk to each other and once one is full he gifts you a new one but still keeps the old one as he likes skimming through the pages and reread the many dialogues the two of you had with each other, no matter how insignificant they may be. If you should have selective mutism and talk very rarely as a result of it Chrollo would be utterly captivated whenever you softly speak up, longing to keep your voice for himself.

Feitan Portor

☠️​Now, Feitan loves torturing people and for that can read it very well when people are anxious or in pain yet that doesn't mean that he always understands why. That proves to be troublesome as soon as he has you within his captivity as he is able to realise when something is wrong with you but he isn't always able to tell what it is you need and that gets on his nerves quickly. He relies on messages and texts typed on the phone to communicate with you as it is the easiest and fastest way for you to give him an answer. At the very least you aren't noisy though and annoy him in his daily life as you remain quiet, the silence between the two of you so thick that one would be able to cut it with a knife. Feitan's sadism is a huge burden for you though, especially when he finds himself longing to hear something from you. It doesn't have to be a word, just a sound from you. A sound of pain, coupled with those exciting squirms of your body as you're subdued to his torture. Whether you're actually incapable of forming words or are selectively mute ultimately doesn't matter to him, most of the time he appreciates things the way they are between you two.

Jouno Saigiku

♦️​Able to pick up emotions due to his enhanced hearing, Jouno is able to understand what is going in within you quite well though perhaps he isn't what you hoped the person who would understand you wordlessly to be like. The worries you have aren't unjustified because Jouno doesn't emphasise with your feelings even though he is able to pick them up. Instead he uses them against you to mold you into the obedient person he would like you to be. Most frustrating of all is that he tortures you by not allowing you any paper or even a phone which you could use to communicate with someone else. He wouldn't be able to talk to you by using such methods after all as he is blind. Deep down, though he wouldn't admit it out loud, he is secretly angry that you are able to communicate with others all whilst he is only able to read you and it is one of the main reasons why he forbids others to talk to you by using other methods. If you are actually able to talk but are selectively mute Jouno is not someone you can expect patience from. Insensitive and cruel, he considers your problem stupid. He doesn't want you to talk to everybody but he expects you to talk to him.

Gojo Satoru

🩵​Gojo proves to be quite conflicting with his obsession due to your mutism. Communicating with others starts to become significantly harder as Gojo's possessive and clingy antics interfere with your daily life. This leaves you with no choice but to turn to him though to your surprise you notice quickly that he learns fast how to understand you wordlessly without you having to use your phone. He already has experience with Inumaki after all and quickly teaches himself how to use sign language as well to be able to communicate with you just in case the electronic devices shouldn't work. Your silence leads to him being more protective over you though since you aren't able to verbally express yourself which tends to lead people to misunderstand you. Whenever you two are in a crowd he has a tight grip on your hand to not lose you though his Six Eyes would be able to find you quickly even if you somehow should escape his hold. Whenever someone approaches you or talks to you he always takes over the conversation for you which only worsens your social skills over time. Even if you should still be able to speak he won't let anyone besides himself hear your voice.

Inumaki Toge

🗣️​His friends always joke that the two of you are really meant to be as both of you are unable to talk normally. Both of you still make the best out of it despite those obstacles though and Inumaki, normally on a more reserved side, starts being more expressive with his body language, hand gestures as well as his facial expressions so that you can understand him better as well. Even when he sends you a message on your phone he starts using more emojis to give everything more emotions. During your relationship the two of you actually come up with a new secret language between the two of you and it tightens the bond the two of you share as now you're able to communicate in front of others without them being able to decipher what the two of you are saying. It's not a new experience for him to be made fun of due to his inability to speak by others but if you should experience the same treatment he doesn't tolerate it as he would normally, standing up for you whilst you might be unable to do so for yourself. In case you are able to talk he'd be really happy the moment you grow comfortable enough to talk to him even if you should stutter or mumble your words.
