One of my more tender hearted Skwistok HCs is that Skwisgaar doesn't allow himself to be the main receiver for physical intimacy after sex until Toki. (When I mean receiver, I mean, Skwisgaar is the one curling up around someone, rather than someone curling around him.)

My example is that, we see Skwisgaar regularly letting women cuddle with him before and after sex, but he does not cuddle back. A lot of times he's just laying there. Or he's not touching anyone after sex and is sleeping apart from the others, which is fine and dandy. But I like to think that he does that because Skwisgaar canonically doesn't remember any of the women he's with and has no emotional connection with them to do those types of things.

So, when he starts sleeping with Toki, now he has an emotional connection and he knows him. He still keeps the distance but Toki isn't having it. He's a cuddler, he likes physical affection, and after sex, he wants to spend time being physically affectionate with his partner.

Toki is the first person Skwisgaar is on the receiving end of it. Toki has his arms open, got himself all situated for Skwisgaar. And Skwisgaar is so confused because people don't do that. They always want to lay on him. But Toki insists that Skwisgaar lets Toki hold him. And he's really hesitant because he doesn't do that. Why would they, they always want him to be the holder. But Skwisgaar is tired and he has a soft spot for the way Toki says his name, so he gives.

He crawls over and awkwardly lays himself on Toki. He feels too long, his arms don't know where to go, is his face in the right spot? He starts getting embarrassed because he feels so out of place. He's never pictured himself in this position. But Toki doesn't mind. He feels two arms cradle him, one positioned in his hair, holding his head close, and another caressing his shoulder and side.

He doesn't remember the last time someone's touched him without the expectation of sex. His arms start wrapping around Toki, his legs fall into place, he can feel his face relax against his chest. All at once, all of the tension he had been holding on to, vanishes. And it's amazing in its simplicity. There's nothing spectacular happening. There's no hidden meaning, no transaction. He's just laying there, in Toki's arms.

I love to imagine Skwisgaar getting these doses of genuine affection, these moments of nonsexual intimate moments where he can receive.

creator!reader w a little side of conflicted tsaritsa is such good food I can't not yap about it. a woman who has dedicated so much of her life to severing herself from "love" of all kinds and succeeding and. just being so confident that when she meets you she's bitter and angry and mean. because she can't stand you. she isn't supposed to love yet you worm your way into her heart anyway and you don't even know it.

especially in smth like an imposter au. she tells herself your just a tool for her to use but your treated like the Divine you really are, pampered and spoiled every step. tells herself it means nothing when she indulges you – let's you hold her hand in private, eventually let's you move aside the veil, just a little.

and she hates it. hates how easy it is to let you break down the ice she's built up for years.

all you do is smile and she feels like she can't breathe. because despite how violently she rejects love in all aspects, it always bleeds through eventually. she despises it but the way you brush your thumbs over her cheeks makes her bitter and warm and it infuriates her to no end.

she hates you and she loves you and she can't stand you and if you were ever taken from her she'd destroy every inch of teyvat if she had to go get you back.

and ironically enough I think she'd also be the one to initiate any first kiss. maybe she's still trying to convince herself it's just a fluke and itll make her realize it meant nothing, it means nothing. desperate to fix whatever you've done to her and instead it just makes it worse.

a horrible mess of a woman who gave up on love just to be confronted with it when she finally accepted it's absence.

i ADORE yoyr skills in making characters with wildly complex personalities. how do you do it this well

i usually just start with a concept (heehoo iterator who doesn't care for their puppet and the puppet has a blankie thrown over it and there's creepy peepy teefs under there) and then built off from that (the character now leads death itself to its family no matter how much it hurts and tears away at it because it recognizes this is ultimately the best thing that can happen to them and it Only wishes for the best for its family cuz it loves them a lot. no matter what it will take, its family will be alright.)- OH a VERY important thing for character making is interconnecting them with other characters!!! that is literally the Most important thing Ever imo. and then details. details are what build the complexity!

the more interactions with other characters and the world you put the peepo thru, the more shaped they will be, i suppose? while still keeping a core idea very clear

also taking inspirations from other characters and then remixing n combining these different inspirations is a valid thing to do. one of Notos' big inspirations is, for example, Wednesday Addams from that netflix show! sometimes the inspiration comes from a certain pack of feelings i get from a song/situation, like for example Zephyr and Johanka by Brotosauři/Joan of Arc in general. Johanka and where i first heard it, the way i first sung it, was already full of so many things that simply applying it to Zephyr gave her a complex personality

and as always -claps- don't forget to give your character low points and weaknesses. but ALSO don't forget to give them their shining moments and strengths

who's stargazer and what is he like?

Stargazer is actually one of the first ever outcodes I made after Void!! He’s an outertale sans variant who was trapped in a no mercy loop that was, to simplify it for the sake of not writing an essay, tearing the code of his universe loose. At one point, he'd sort of accidentally found one of the "looser" spots and fell through it.

Passing through the void in the state he was already in due to all the glitches starting to affect his verse caused his own code to be permanently damaged, but it did have the beneficial side effect of making it so he was stable outside of his own universe.

He was one of the first outliers Void helped alongside Comet after he started working in the MV, finding a new universe for him to live in. He has the ability to "see" between universes, and sort of very faint prophetic abilities? It's not a particularly useful skill since it's usually hard to parse and isn't guaranteed either, but it more so just kinda gives him stronger intuition about some stuff. He was also the one who spotted the irregularity that turned out to be Wingdings and gave Void the heads up, which is how he found him <3

Personality wise, he’s kind of a grump. Very tired, been through a lot and doesn't joke very often, unless he really stressed, then he'll make bitter cynical jokes aha, but despite the hemming and hawing, he'll help if Void asks him (not the comic papyruses though, he has an axe to grind with them, for some reason...)

He hates to travel outside of his adopted universe, which is another outertale variant, and he lives in a modified observatory. Definitely prefers staying on-planet, too, since being out in space reminds him too much of his own universe.

His eyes are usually full of soft, gold light with "stars" in them. It makes it harder to see normally, but he’s not fully blind otherwise, just a bit impaired.
