Loki may be a theatre kid

We already know he has a flair for theatrics and everyone kinda accpets that he likely enjoys Shakespeare

But he literally had stage plays performed for him when he was ruling Asgard.

Yes, maybe it was just his vanity showing cause the story was about making him look good. And yes we can brush it off as something silly they added to the movies just cause they can and wanted to poke fun at it.

But I think it's fun to imagine Loki going out to enjoy even the shoddiest of plays

Like the quality probably doesn't matter as much to him as long as he enjoys the story cause when he ruled, he was pretending to be Odin so he had all the opportunity to get the highest form of stage and performance but he didn't and was just there having everyone enjoy it with him

Loki being an abusive husband to Sigyn only really works if you never think about the logistics of how a jötunn as thoroughly despised as he was could get away with abusing his ásynja wife in a culture where women could legitimately divorce you for being broke or infertile.
