i like ralsei hes so regular and nothings going on with him

#i dont know how well i conveyed it but #i looooove how ralsei takes comfort in predestination #and assembling a “correct” way to do things #following a premade path is his greatest comfort #and straying from it is his greatest fear #even if that path is extremely painful for him #[enter susie who is defiant of fate itself]#[and kris who wants freedom above all else]#one of the most synergistic trios ive seen in any story #they complement and contrast one another wonderfully #deltarune #deltarune spoilers #ralsei #kris #susie #art #comic #i might be jumping the gun cause i havent finished chapter 4 yet but ya #also i love that kris and susie are pretty chill about their friendship (at least outwardly)#and ralsei is just constantly and obviously shouldering a gajillion metric tons of insecurity and abandonment issues #which he masks with his cuteness and walkthroughsona #absorbing both real and perceived acts of kindness like a desperate sponge #and then he inevitably can't take it anymore and traumadumps 7 times #sry i like studying him. everyone should study him with me #i could go on and on too about how well he and susie foil each other and how that builds off of the themes of undertale but these tags are #already long as fuck

It's been a long while since we've seen that hair style!#Something old - in the way you see a little glimpse of a boy that died a long time ago #Something new in a man who has a new direction and purpose. Somehow it is still you. But you can't ever be that *you* again.#I think grief comes from a mourning of futures we lost. We associate it with love-#-but what else do we mourn if not the future we had with them? So too do we feel grief over the future our past self once hoped for.#I love the radish extra because it is so sweet and so full of small sorrows.#WWX is as playful as always with A-Yuan but there is a constant presence of how he no longer sees a future for himself.#Be it in the way he talks about the impossibility of him having children.#Or in the way he creates this silly and artificial game of helping A-yuan grow-up faster.#It's always about the moment to moment with him. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed.#His major hubris moment has yet to come but I would strongly argue that the seeds of doubt were already gestating.#It might be a bit of a 'ship tease' moment when WWX comments that his idea kid would be more like LWJ than himself -#But I consider it to be a true (if unconscious) sentiment that he sees himself as having gone down the wrong path.#It's not a 'I want LWJ to have my kids' moment. It's an 'if I were to have kid - I'd want them to never know what I went through.'#WWX is the parent that breaks the cycle. He walked for 10km through the corpse piles everyday and by god he's driving you to school.#LWJ is also a cycle breaker parent but in the opposite direction. He packs chocolate chip cookies and extra snacks in your bag.

Maddie didn’t speak to her father, as did her sister. Unfortunately, that made it hard for them to contact their favorite uncle, but when they left at eighteen, they both agreed it was for the best. Even after they found out the old man was dead, they didn’t reach out, unsure of what they would say.

That was then.

Now, with shaking hands covered in ectoplasm,(god her baby was hurt, she had been hurting her baby, THOSE BASTARDS IN WHITE HURT HER BABIES) she dialed the number that she had never managed to forget.

“Hello, who is this and how did you get this number?” The British accent soothed a part of her she hadn’t noticed was tense.

Something exciting I just realized is that, with the reemergence of the aro and ace communities in the 2010s, and with us learning that we are part of this community, we will finally have so many aro and ace elders for the next generation to look up to!

I’m so grateful for each and every one of you that made it into adulthood and continue to get older. We will be able to create a world in which future baby aro’s and ace’s don’t have to struggle as much as we did in understanding our place in this world.

I’m very thankful to our queer elders for forging the path through seemingly insurmountable struggles. They created the foundation for us to create our communities. Now we will be able to build upon them for the next generation of our peers to find a safe haven online and in real life where they can feel comfortable, accepted, and normal. Just like we should have had.
