Okay since @palmolli asked, I'm posting the Boots Link meets LU crossover thing I've got written. It's not even close to finished but here's what I've got:
The portal had dropped them in an incredibly non-descript forest.
“Does anyone recognize these woods?” Time asked.
“Nope.”
“It looks like almost every forest I’ve ever been in.”
Wild was up a tall tree in a moment, disappearing in the leaves.
“Edge of the woods is that way!” he called out.
“No one can see what direction you’re pointing!” Twilight shouted up to him.
There was a rustle and then Wild dropped from the tree, pulling out his paraglider just in time to stop himself from hitting the ground hard.
“That way,” he said, pointing again.
“Then we’ll head in that direction,” Time said. “See if we can’t find some people to get information from.”
The group made their way to the edge of the woods and onward. It wasn’t long before a fence came into sight, though the only thing beyond it seemed to be fields. Still, a fence meant people, so the next step was obvious - follow the fence. A house or town would likely be somewhere along the way.
Eventually, the grass turned to dirt road and a small house appeared in the distance. Wild and Wind immediately hopped over the fence.
“Can we, just once, respect people’s property?” Time sighed. “There’s a gate right there.”
Hyrule lowered his foot from the fence sheepishly and followed the rest through the gate. At this point, they had a routine when it came to gathering information, whether it be a town or a single dwelling.
For a house like this, the majority were to linger back to avoid immediately overwhelming the occupant while Twilight and Warriors were sent forward to get information. Twilight had that good-natured country-boy energy and Warriors knew how to turn on the charm. They were usually the best choices for this sort of thing.
Leaving Epona with the others, the rancher knocked on the door and then stepped back. It didn’t take long for light footsteps to approach and the door to swing open. A teenage girl stood there, blinking in surprise as she looked over the two.
“Mornin’ miss, I hope we didn’t disturb you,” Twilight said.
“No, it’s alright. How can I help you?” she asked politely.
“My friends and I have lost our way a bit,” Warriors explained. “We’ve been traveling and trying to take care of any trouble people might have and it seems we’ve gotten ourselves turned around. Would you mind telling us where we are?”
“This is Faron Town,” the girl said. “What do you mean by trouble?”
“We’ve uh, heard there might be monsters roaming around,” Twilight said. “Do you know anything about that?”
Her eyes widened a little. “Monsters…? I think… you would be better off talking to my brother about this.” She turned towards the inside of the house and shouted, “LINK!”
Everyone in the Chain exchanged startled looks. Link?
“Do you think he’s one of us?” Wind whispered to Four who shrugged.
“Dunno. Maybe it’s just a coincidence.”
“Sorry, he’s probably still sleeping - he’s always so bad about waking up,” the girl said, a bit of embarrassment on her face when there was no answer from her brother.
“I change my mind,” Four whispered to Wind. “That sounds like evidence he might be one of us.”
Wind snorted and elbowed Sky, who rolled his eyes.
“Pot calling kettle,” the Skyloftian muttered.
“I’ll go get him,” the girl continued, “if you folk don’t mind waiting out here for a moment.”
“That’s no trouble at all,” Warriors assured her.
She nodded and disappeared behind the door. They heard more shouting, and then a loud thud, followed by a young man’s voice going, “OW! Kara, what was that for?!”
The response and conversation afterward weren’t quite loud enough to make out.
While everyone waited for the girl to return with her brother, Legend noticed two kids creeping toward the group, curiosity on their faces as they kept low to the ground. They looked similar - twins, probably.
The two came to a stop, shoulder to shoulder, whispering to each other about who the group might be - Knights from the castle? But they’re not in uniform -  words only barely loud enough for Legend to make out. It didn’t take long for the subject to change though.
“I bet you I could hit his shield from here.” The boy closed an eye as he aimed his slingshot thoughtfully.
The girl’s nose wrinkled. “The one with the fur? No way. Even if you could, I bet you couldn’t hit the middle.”
Legend nudged Hyrule, gesturing with his head just a little towards the kids with a smirk. Hyrule peered past him, spotted the slingshot, and stifled a giggle.
“You’re on,” the boy hissed, pulling the band tight and then releasing. The pebble sailed through the air and knocked against Twilight’s shield. Not quite the middle, but pretty close. Not bad.
Twilight and Warriors spun around, reaching for their swords but stopping short when they saw the two kids, who both pointed to each other, words overlapping.
“He did it!”
“She dared me!”
The girl turned to look at her brother. “Did not!”
“Did too!”
“Did not!”
The front door banged open and attention turned to the blond boy, glaring past the group with stormy blue eyes, his gaze locking onto the twins with impressive speed as he marched forward a few paces, Twilight and Warriors stepping aside for him.
“Ollie, Ellie! What sort of trouble are you causing now? Get inside and leave these people alone!”
As the twins grumbled and marched past the group and into the house, glances were once again exchanged amongst the group. Though not everyone in the group had blond hair and blue eyes, there were more who did than didn’t. Another point added to the likelihood of this boy being a hero.
It was only once the kids were herded inside, Link closing the door behind him, that he gave the group proper attention.
“My sister said you folk were looking for monsters?” he asked as his gaze swept over Twilight and Warriors before leaning forward to check out the group lined up near the fence. Before either man could respond, the boy’s eyes widened before furrowing into something frustrated as he suddenly stomped over to Sky.
“Where did you get that sword?” he asked, tone sharp and demanding. His clear recognition of the Master Sword sealed the deal. “You can’t just take that! First of all, not just anyone can use that, and second of all, do you know how annoying it is to get to the Temple of Legend? Now I’m going to have to cross that stupid river and climb that stupid cliff again to put it back.”
Legend startled a little at the temple’s name as several curious gazes swung his way. He lifted his shoulder with a shrug.
“I know not just anyone can use the Master Sword,” Sky replied mildly. “She only accepts certain wielders.”
Link opened his mouth before his expression shifted from anger to surprise, mouth snapping closed. Suspicion crossed his face as he turned and looked across the group and all their weapons again. His gaze lingered for a moment on Legend’s Pegasus Boots.
“Who are you guys?”
Everyone looked to Time who hefted a heavy sigh. None of them had expected to have to explain this to a brand new Link this far into their adventure.
“...It’s going to sound crazy,” Time prefaced.
“I saw the desert turn to snow and the ocean dry up,” Link said flatly, arms folding. “Try me.”
“We’re all… Link. That is, we’re Hyrule’s Chosen Heroes from different eras throughout time,” the man explained. “For some reason, we’ve been brought together and have been traveling through time to face an enemy together - an enemy we unfortunately still have much to learn about.”
“Dunno why we’re only just meeting you since you’re clearly one of us,” Wind interjected.
“Which is why,” Time said, giving Wind a look for interrupting, “you are in no way obligated to join us on our venture. For whatever reason, you weren’t called from the start, so if you don’t want to join us-”
“But you were brought to my time,” Link said.
“...Yes, we were.”
“Then there must be a reason.”
“It could just be that monsters will be appearing in your land. That’s usually how this works - a portal opens up, takes us to another time, monsters show up somewhere, we deal with them, and then another portal appears.”
“If it’s my time, it’s my problem,” Link said, expression setting into that stubborn look that seemed a little too familiar. “Even if it’s not, if it’s monsters - if I can help-”
And there it was. No one was surprised by the response. That was just how Links were.
“If you want to, then you’re more than welcome to join us,” Time said softly.
Link sighed, shoving his fingers through his thick bangs, looking up at the sky with a weary expression. “Ava’s gonna hate it if I leave again so soon. She's gonna cry again.”
“Who's Ava?” Wind asked curiously.
“The cutest girl in the whole world,” Link replied sadly.
“Your girlfriend?” Sky tried.
The boy's expression immediately soured. “No, gross. She's my baby sister. And she's gonna be really upset that I'm leaving again… but I wouldn’t be able to stand it if I didn’t do something to help.”
“How long has it been since your journey ended?” Twilight asked curiously.
“About three months,” Link replied. He looked them over again. His gaze lingered for a long moment on Warriors feet before lifting again. “You’re all really from different parts of history?”
“History or the future,” Four said.
Link scrubbed at his face, muttering, “Zelda’s gonna lose her mind. I’m never going to hear the end of it.” He lifted his head with another sigh. “Alright, follow me. I gotta check on the girls, but I want to know everything that’s been going on.”
Twilight tied Epona to the fence for now and everyone followed Link as he headed toward a small barn, though before anyone could offer further explanation as to their situation, he glanced back. “What’s your horse’s name?”
“Epona,” Twilight replied, lips immediately lifting into a smile.
Link stopped short, whirling around with wide eyes. “Her name is Epona too?!”
“You’ve got an Epona?” Wild asked.
“Almost.” Link’s face scrunched into a frown. “As soon as I can afford her. I’ve got the barn all ready, but I’m still saving up and Zelda’s still trying to get the whole reward thing approved so-” He shook his head and stared at Twilight’s Epona with sad longing in his eyes. “Doesn’t matter. She’ll be mine soon enough.” There was a long pause where it looked like Link was fighting the urge to go over and give Epona attention before he shook his head again and turned, grabbing a bag of sunflower seeds from just inside the barn, giving it a good shake.
“So, this enemy of yours. What’s their deal?”
“We suspect that it’s the cause of these portals we’ve been going through - it’s certainly capable of making them,” Time explained.
“It also seems to be… infecting monsters. They have black blood and are much stronger than the usual foe,” Warriors added.
“There shouldn’t be any monsters to infect in this land. There haven’t been any since I defeated Ganon,” Link said, giving the bag of seeds another shake.
“Doesn’t seem to need already existing monsters - I think it can make them. Or bring them from other lands? Hard to say, but we’ve seen monsters from other eras where they don’t belong,” Twilight said.
“We’ve only seen the presumable source of all of this a handful of times,” Time told him. As he explained the appearance and shape-shifting capabilities of their enemy, three sheep came trotting towards them, seemingly having been drawn by the sound of Link shaking the bag.
“Aw, sheepies!” Wind exclaimed.
“Wilma, Nellie, and Baby,” Link introduced, giving each one a good pet before checking each over, from their ears to their tails to their hooves.
“Aw, he’s like you!” Warriors teased, elbowing Twilight lightly.
“Huh?” Twilight’s brow furrowed, not understanding Warriors’ implications.
“Goats and sheep are basically the same thing, aren’t they?”
“Absolutely not,” Twilight and Link said in unison.
Warriors burst out laughing.
(I want to put a joking tease about "maybe this kid is YOUR descendant, Twilight" in here but idk how to work it in atm and I don't feel like figuring it out rn)
-
(Jumping to Some Time Later - at some point after they've been properly introduced and Boots has heard them call Warriors "captain" so he could ask and get the explanation of him being captain of soldiers in his era, maybe while they're traveling or smth idk man)
“Alright, what’s your deal? You keep looking at my feet,” Warriors said.
Link rubbed his neck, looking away. “It’s your shoes.”
“What about them?”
“They’re…” Link looked back at Warriors’ shoes as though they had personally insulted him. “They’re just so stupid.”
Twilight cracked up immediately as Warriors’ jaw dropped.
“What?!”
“They provide no ankle support! They’re just shoes with a shin guard strapped on and blue socks underneath! That’s not going to do anything to keep you from rolling an ankle!” Boots exclaimed.
“That’s not- Those aren’t socks. They’re puttees,” Warriors defended.
“Puttees?” Link stared at him. “You're the captain of an army and you have puttees instead of proper boots? What, is your kingdom poor? Can’t afford to give their soldiers- their captains proper footwear so you have to resort to wrapping up your legs instead?! That’s ridiculous!”
Warriors looked a cross between shocked and offended by his words while some of the others snickered. Even Time looked to be fighting a smile.
“He’s got a point,” Twilight wheezed.
“They are pretty stupid,” Four agreed.
“I never put much thought into it before, but he’s right,” Legend said. “It’s pretty ridiculous you don’t have proper boots.”
“I can’t take this anymore, I can’t stand here and let you snap your ankles when I could be doing something about this,” Link muttered, kneeling on the ground as he began digging through his bag. He lifted out a pair of black boots before returning them with the shake of his head.
“You carry extra boots with you?” Wind asked as Link pulled out boots with beautiful feathers adorning them.
“Yeah,” Link replied, setting those aside and then pulling out a pair of what were quite obviously Pegasus Boots, albeit more decorated than the pair on Legend’s feet.
Twilight whistled. “Fancy.”
“Why do you carry so many boots with you?” Wind questioned as Link set the Pegasus Boots down. When Link pulled out and set aside a pair of armored boots, Wind added, “And how many do you have?”
“They can come in handy,” Link said. “And I’ve got… seventeen if you count the ones on my feet. The goddesses or whoever seemed to think it would be pretty funny to give the cobbler’s son all boots.”
“Seventeen?!”
“I know what we can call him then - Boots,” Sky said with a light laugh.
Link looked as though the life had been sucked out of him at that sentence. “Might as well,” he muttered. “It always comes back to the boots.”
Finally, Link pulled out a pair of brown, slightly saggy and older looking boots.
“Those are my boots!” Legend blurted. “I don’t really wear them anymore since I’ve got the Pegasus Boots but I think…”
“Are you sure? They look a lot like the ones I had as a kid,” Time remarked.
Legend crouched, picking up the left one and looking at the back of it, running his finger along a thin gouge in the leather. “Yeah, these are definitely mine.”
Link looked at him with intrigue. “Huh… They’re called the Hero’s Boots - I’d wondered if they actually belonged to a hero once or not. I guess that’s my answer.” He looked thoughtful for a moment. “Do you go by Legend because you’re the Hero of Legend?”
Legend looked away as he set the boot back down, expression awkward. “That’s what Hyrule said they wind up calling me.”
“So you come after Legend too, huh?” Hyrule said. “I wonder if you’re before or after me.”
“Sorry in advance,” Link said.
“Why?”
“Because I think you’re Zelda’s favorite historical figure and she gets really excited about this kind of stuff. If she talks your ear off, I’m sorry in advance.” Link looked tired at the very thought while Legend looked a little flustered at the idea.
“Oh…”
“Here,” Link said, changing the subject as he gestured to the boots he had set out. “There’s the Pegasus Boots - I’m sure you already know what those do. The Roc’s Boots here can help you jump higher and fall slower. The Armored Boots make you more resistant to attacks. And the Hero’s Boots - if Legend doesn’t mind, anyway - make your attacks stronger.”
Legend nodded in approval. “They’re clearly not my boots anymore by this point in time. Do as you please.”
“Then Warriors, you can borrow one of these, as long as you’re willing to give them back later if I need them. I mean, any of you can borrow any of my boots as long as I can have them back as needed. I’ve got plenty to spare and can only wear one pair at a time. But I figured these might be the most preferable. They’re the least ugly, anyway. Well, I’m not a big fan of the armored boots, but you’re wearing armor, so they’d probably look fine on you.”
Warriors looked torn between refusing for the sake of his pride and accepting the offer - some of those abilities sounded pretty nice.
AND THAT'S ALL I HAD WRITTEN 👍

I have been playing slime rancher recently and that mixed with the LU brainrot, so now I have made Zelda inspired slimes
The wolf like slime with the hat is the Link slime (inspo from Twilight Princess)
The orange one with the bandana is the Malon slime (inspo from Ocarina of Time. Genuinely don't think she's in other game tho XD)
The white one with red and blue is the Fierce Deity slime (inspo from Majora's Mask)
The ITTY BITTY slimes are minish slimes (inspo from Minish cap)
The blue one is a Zelda slime (inspo from Hyrule Warriors)
And the white one with red is an Impa slime (inspo from Hyrule Warriors)

LU x Undertale AU idea
It’s a very wacky dream Legend is having. No romantic relationships. Those Underground are trying to find a hero(or something idk).
Narrator Chara - Legend(he can only interact with Wind, the horror)
Frisk - Wind(who else would be the child)
Flowey - Four(he’s a clover 🍀)
Toriel - Sky(srry for making you the mom)
Sans - Warriors(the final battle would be hell)
Papyrus - Twilight(picks you up by the scruff)
Undyne - Time(takes his job very seriously)
Alphys - Wild(regrets what he’s done)
Asgore - Hyrule(The one who began it all)
Wind doesn’t actually talk, but he’s very emotive. And when Legend says he says something, everyone else hear Wind saying it. EX: *You tell Twilight he’s a great mom. Legend abuses the hell out of this, much to Wind’s dismay.
All the other NPCs would be different LoZ characters from different times(but mostly those from Legend’s adventures).
I imagine it would also be a reoccurring dream, to get all the endings.
would it be called UnderLegend? LinkedTale-probably this one tbh. LUUT?

LU x Demon Slayer
I don't have the time or motivation to start a whole giant crossover fic but I still think about it from time to time because it is fun and the tags I got on my last post made me think.
Anyway, due to ramblings, this is going to have a cut!
Also, this post will assume you're caught up with the anime up to the end of the Hashira Training Arc. I haven't read the manga so I'm doing a lot of heavy lifting with the anime.
If I did a crossover, it would be a fusion. I want the boys to use breathing styles and I like to imagine that they're all hashiras being sent down to track down a troublesome demon who is turning others into demons on mass (Dink's ability to infect monsters to make them stronger is kind of like how receiving the blood of a demon also makes you a demon).
Basic Story Elements
The fic would be mostly about taking down Demon Dink. Demon Dink could fill the role of Muzan but if we're wanting it to be more Zelda like, Demise could also be Muzan and bosses like Ganondorf, Zant, and Cia could be part of the Twelve Kizuki. Choices!
Unfortunately, making them all hashiras kind of makes it hard to have the Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu trio. It also makes it hard to have a Nezuko. However, if only most of them are hashiras, then we could make a trio. I think either Colin or Aryll could work as a family member turned demon (even though they are a tad young, I think) and have Wind or Twilight be Tanjiro. You could make a trio from whichever boy you like.
One last thing is that Lon Lon ranch is totally the Butterfly Mansion and Malon is always around to nurse everybody back to health.
Breathing Styles
Now for the fun part! I feel like a lot of this could be debated because it's so open to interpretation! It also doesn't seem uncommon for people to just make up their own style (looking at you, Inosuke) which would also fit the guys. I also tried my best to give everybody a different one.
Warriors - flame breathing. Warriors has always felt like a fire guy to me and that might because I strongly associate him with the fire rod. What captured my imagination the most is that Flame Breathing has a form that resembles a dragon and Warriors can use his fire rod to summon a dragon (gif credit - click for more gifs of Warriors using his fire rod). I can't shake the fire vibes from Warriors, honestly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wind - Wind breathing. I know, I'm lame for picking a breathing style with his name in it but Wind is the guy who teleports via cyclones and what does wind breathing look like? It's the most obvious style you could pick for him but it works. No need it make it complicated..
Tumblr media
Twilight - Stone breathing. We haven't see much of stone breathing in the anime yet but I feel like Twilight could sub in for Gyomei well. Both have a past of looking after young children, both like cats, both are strong (Gyomei's whole section of the Hashira training regiment is essentially strength training), and both of them use a giant spiky ball on a chain. I'm not sure if you need a flail for stone breathing but like I said, I feel like Twilight is a decent stand in for Gyomei, who uses this breathing style.
Tumblr media
I couldn't find a gif of Twilight using it so you get this picture I took from Zelda Dungeon:
Tumblr media
Four - mist breathing. Mist breathing is about being hard to predict (as if shrouded in fog), which I think is something that suits Four, who uses his height and agility to his advantage. It kind of makes me think of that page in The Shadow 2 where he dives under a lizalfos to give Time an opportunity for a sneak attack. Four was kind of tricky for me but now I kind of love the idea of him using this style.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Legend - water breathing. This is another one where I don't have anything super concrete Water breathing is versatile and lends itself well to being modified, which I think suits somebody who can be called a veteran. I also like how much it flows, which fits with the dancer headcanon a lot of people like for him. I think Legend would in particular would excel at it to the point of making his own forms for it like Giyu has.
Tumblr media
And now, for the guys that gave me a harder time.
Sky - thunder breathing. I think thunder breathing suits Sky thematically in that Sky actually used lightning in his fight with Demise. It's a semi-popular headcanon for him to have the ability to manipulate lightning because of this. Sky is capable of being fast as well, so I don't think Thunderclap and Flash is out of the question for him either.
Tumblr media
However, I can't quite let go of the hinokami kagura/sun breathing because that's the first style and in LOZ, he's the first hero. I think anything that looks like fire suits him a lot but I do have a hard time letting it go. Maybe he learns thunder breathing first and sun after.
Wild - beast breathing. Beast breathing is one that Inosuke made up himself with little influence from anybody else because he didn't really grow up with people. I think this sort of things suits Wild, who had to learn to not just survive but thrive in the wilds.
I also kind of like sound breathing for him but ultimately, I figured beast suits him a bit better. I also think it would be cool if before he got amnesia, he had a completely different breathing style and learned something new while he was out on his own without his memories.
Hyrule - thunder or flaming derivative? I feel like Hyrule is also someone who is likely to end up with his own unique breathing style, though I can't figure out if thunder or fire would suit him better because both work. I'm stumped.
Time - maybe sound-breathing? Sound breathing, at least the way Tengen uses it, is flashy, loud, and also uses giant blades on a chain. Tengen also sees battle in a musical sense in that he reads a demon's battle style as a musical score and Time's one of the most musically inclined. Legend would be the other only person who compare in that department.
Tumblr media
However, I'm not completely sold on Time using sound breathing because I think stone breathing suits him too and I'm kind of mad about that. I also have a hard time seeing Time using the amount of explosions that Tengen uses. We could turn him into an Urokodaki-like figure and we just have two people who use stone breathing but ehhh, I don't exactly like a retired hashira or demon slayer travelling around with ones who are on active duty.
Anyway, that is it from me. I would love to see what other people have in mind!

Just two shadows who escaped a life of abuse and villainy, now chillin’ together in peace.
All the evil chain accounts— and the latest chapter of The Secrets We Keep— motivated me to draw Shadow again. He’d definitely approve of the evil chain; 10/10.
I’ve drawn at least a few different Zelda crossovers now, so I’ve decided to collect them all in one place! You can find them in the Wisdomverse Masterpost linked below.

Self-indulgent crossover AU nobody asked for be upon ye;
Linked Universe x RainWorld
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yapping & alts under cut
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Heyyyyy- sorry bout disappearing for a month, I started drawing these back in April- but turns out full illustrations with backgrounds and multiple characters take awhile to draw, who would’ve guessed 💀
Yeah so this all started after the Watcher dlc dropped and I thought “haha both of my current hyper-fixations have time travel mechanics that’s so funny- what if i combined them.” And I’ve had brain worms ever since.
I doubt many of you actually know what RainWorld is, let alone played it.. But to the maybe 7 people who actually know what the fucking I’m talking about, I love you -and could you imagine the chain’s reaction upon seeing a Miros vulture for the first time? :3c
I have so many thoughts in my brain about this stupid little au and I need to draw them SO BAD but drawing is HARD and takes TIME and I need to EXPLODE
Also I used some photo bashing to make the backgrounds. I really didn’t wanna draw Pebbles’ superstructure by hand, so I just used some of the game’s official art and painted on top. Pretty fun technique, definitely gonna play with it more in the future.

Part 3 of the chain with Pokémon starters! That's all of them done! I definitely left Sky and Twilight last as I had the most trouble choosing for them :,) But I have my reasons for these choices (and everyone), which is why I will post later tomorrow about why I chose them! ( Then I'm done with Pokemon x LU and will get back to drawing just the LU boys C: ) Part 1 - Part 2

HEEYYY, idk if you've ever answered an ask like this before bc it's very likely, but I'm gonna ask anyways... If your Link ocs met the chain, who would their favorite members be? You can include your other ocs from your aus too, if you want!
Ooh, I have not! I've given a lot of thought as to my Links meeting the chain, and definitely considered for at least two of them who they'd get along with best (with the others I've focused mostly on the overall happenings and initial interactions)
I think Boots would get along great with Twilight. A ranchhand who cares for goats is certainly different than him dealing with sheep, but there's definitely overlaps and I think they'd be able to talk a lot about that. Comparing and contrasting experiences. Lamenting fighting off foot rot during rainy season, dealing with the more ornery of the bunch, sharing stories about which one is the sweetest... And then they'd probably end up talking about dogs and cats too, and then Older Sibling stuff, herding younger ones around, ending fights, etc. They honestly have a lot in common. There's another thing they absolutely could bond over should that info ever come to light but unfortunately that would be a spoiler. Sis will probably be able to figure it out if she thinks about it. Don't tell anyone, sis, it's a secret to everybody (for now).
Boots would also get along with Wind, though any time he gets Too Big Brothery, I doubt Wind would be fond of it. Stop defending me when I can take care of myself conversation 2.0. Boots would try hard to respect that afterwards. It's hard though. I also think Boots would come to like Hyrule quite a bit. Can't exactly pinpoint why?
I could see him looking up to Warriors (his grandpa was a knight and he always looked up to him!) because he feels like everything a knight should be. Except his stupid shoes, he loses a lot of points for that. But that aside, he seems very cool and knightly to Boots. And if Wars ever got comfortable enough to get relaxed and goofy around him, he'd like him even more.
I am gonna include Boots' Zelda here simply because she's a history fanatic and the history of heroes is her favorite thing in the world and she'd be over the moon and back to have the chance to meet even a single one of these guys. HOWEVER the one she'd be most eager to meet would be Legend, because that's the one she knows the most history of (they're in the same timeline, and Boots' time comes right after TFH, so, since Legend has been like. Combined with the ALBW/TFH hero, that would make him the most recent hero in history) She has like, kinda idolized him to some extent growing up, but mostly she just wants to know what details are true, if anything is incorrect, what could be misinformation over history, what happened during these gaps of missing records, etc etc. I think that would fluster Legend a lot LOL he might answer a few questions but then he'd probably get overwhelmed and Boots would try and save him from the situation he is all too familiar with. Wind would probably be more than happy to share, and his tales would perplex her because? Nothing about this is something in history she's ever even heard of, and he said he comes after the Hero of Time saved the world, and there isn't really anyone by the title of hero of time she knows of, but rather, a boy that was gifted the use of time travel, who tried but failed to save the kingdom... Absolutely sends her down a rabbit hole of research since Wind insists he won and then left - left the whole timeline apparently. Now she's got a million more questions, Time would probably be her next victim... Yeah. You get the idea.
Now for Stray, he'd 100% feel most comfortable with Hyrule. I feel like I might have mentioned this in a post once, but Hyrule looks very plain and down to earth compared to the others. Sky has a lot of clothing and layers, beautiful embroidery, which to Stray, speaks money, and he is automatically distrustful and not fond of people who are wealthy. Plus, Sky clearly cares a lot about the Master Sword, which makes Stray feel bad about the state of his Master Sword that needs (or needed depending on how far into his journey he is) a lot of repair. It's not his fault it for forgotten and abandoned and wound up like that but it's embarrassing nonetheless. Like his era is somehow a reflection upon himself.
The captain is obviously wealthy, look at that scarf, look at that armor, and so of course is Time, and to have so many brightly dyed colors on his clothes, so must be Four! Wild has SO MUCH STUFF, an overwhelming amount of food at all times, and also fancy embroidery. Legend too, with all his rings and pretty things. Heck, Twilight's chainmail is gold colored!
Wind is like. Okay. Because as a self proclaimed pirate, Stray can assume anything fancy he has could've been stolen. Plus he kinda reminds him of kids back home but like. An older version of some of them, which is weird because there's a maturity there that weirds him out in how unfamiliar it is, but then moments where it kinda feels like dealing with one of the kids, but he can't treat him like he does them and... It's complicated.
Even appearances aside, Warriors is too controlling and nosy, Twilight tries too hard to befriend him like he's some kinda stray animal to coax, Time is Too Adult and he can't get a read on him, Sky is Too Nice and he doesn't trust that, Legend, well, he's fine with his personality. He can snap back. He doesn't really care. Wild... Well. That's complicated for various reasons. He doesn't dislike his personality, he actually kinda likes him, but for multiple reasons has this mix of like jealousy and guilty feelings with him... It's complicated, just like Wind is complicated. Four keeps Studying Him and it's weirding him out.
Hyrule though... Much more simply dressed. Everything about him screams that he came from very simple and humble origins. He lets Stray sit next to him without trying to push conversation or anything. He might offer a hand but doesn't do so in a way that comes across condescending or pitying to Stray. There's just something about him that makes him feel much more comfortable, so he's stick pretty well to his side any time he can't just be alone. Crown thinks Warriors and Twilight are nice and charming and she's annoyed that Stray is so flippant and rude with them. 😤
Gerudo Link... My first instinct is Warriors. I think there's a few things they've got in common that could gravitate them towards each other, but those are deeper things that neither might ever share. He could definitely get along with Wild. He does love getting into mischief and I think that they would love to have some fun together. They both strike me as resourceful since, well, obviously Gerudo Link has the Triforce of Resourcefulness, but Wild not only lives off the land but has a million ways to get stuff done? It feels right.
Funny enough, like Stray, I think Poncho would initially gravitate a bit more towards Hyrule. Something about him feels oddly homey in a weird sort of way. And they do have a lot in common! Living off the land with very little assistance, being hunted down, living a life on the run/hiding... And if his adventure is over, then technically having access to living in the castle but probably preferring being outdoors most of the time anyway lol. And with Hyrule inevitably comes Legend, and honestly, Poncho would like him a lot too. He's blunt and generally honest and that puts Poncho at ease. He likes knowing where he stands with people. He doesn't like false niceties or placating gestures. It puts him on edge. Also I think sometimes Legend would remind him of Gaidi. Like harsh but with a soft center. Insults you affectionately and then rushes to protect you. I imagine the bonds would only grow once they piece together (and I doubt it would take long) that he comes directly after Hyrule in the timeline.
Actually that makes me think... Stray would actually be so distraught to find out Hyrule comes after him. Does that mean he fails his adventure? Or even if it's already over, all their efforts to restore the kingdom for a better future fails? What he doesn't know is the progress they make in bettering the kingdom for the rest of their lives is what helps sweep in the Golden Era. Nothing beyond that is their fault at all, but he'd be worried about it.
As a bonus, Gaidi would love Time and Wars, and be intrigued by Hyrule until she figures it out properly. Now she's got a half brother, she decided, and that's pretty cool.
Another bonus is I think if Kara spent more than like 5 mins trying to be a polite host or visitor around them, she'd see pieces of her idiot brother in just about all of them and any semblance of polite girl would vanish. She's scolding, she's jabbing them with pointed younger sister insult remarks, she cannot be tamed and tbh is actually kinda intimidating to some of them. Like dang okay she's not to be messed with. I actually have never considered her hanging with them and it's a really funny concept now.
Bonus bonus bonus: Nink is like a cat. He gravitates towards whoever is most freaked out by him. That, or whoever could cause the most chaos at his side.

Been playing a lot of Sky: children of the light while still dealing with LU brain rot. Some friends on discord were talking about a crossover of the two and we just sorta....made skykids out of the Links. Hyrule found a blupee in the prairie peaks. They're friends now
(special thanks to @thatbluepencilcrayon for feeding my ideas until this littol guy came to be)

Things that I would Crossover with LU if only I wasn’t working on a million things already: A List
LU x Mob100 - I just want these guys to interact with each other, it would be so funnny
LU x DP - I am already a decently known dp artist, I could make this happen, I want to make this happen. I’m glad someone else has been making this when I can’t. Thank you @/hugsandchaos for making this world a better place.
LU x Slay the Princess - I blame you @/almost-an-artist, for continuing to remind me of this amazing game. I don’t even know how it would work, I just wanna draw the blorbos in the art style.
LU x Creepypastas - I just want to include Ben Drowned, I don’t really care about the rest. Although, it would be really funny to have the Chain running away from Slenderman.
LU x Digimon - I just love Digimon. That’s it that’s the only reason.
LU x Fairy Tail - Someone I follow(I honestly don’t remember who) rebloged some art of redesigns of Lucy’s star forms/transformations outfits, and I just really want the Chain to fight these guys. Just for the sake of it. I also love dragons.
LU x DC - maybe it’s because I was big on the dpxdc stuff, but I just think it would be fun. A bunch of elves from another dimension fighting an ancient evil would not be too out of place in DC. And Marvel too I guess.
LU x Genshin - It’s the clothes. I like the clothes in Genshin. I only played the Honkai games I don’t know what Genshin is like.
LU x MLP - Ponies :)
LU x Undertale/Deltarune - I love these games, not much to say because I think it’s self explanatory to anyone else who loves these games why I would want to draw it.
LU x Soulcalibur 2 - Self explanatory.
Anyways can you tell I love crossovers. Because I do.
