Hey! Ofc, its a reference to my favourite comic of allllll times @eeriecrests ! The plot revolves around the disappearence and supposed death of one Malek Solh (most beloved of all times i would shake hands w a zionist for him). However me and the some of the characters in the comic are of the firm conviction that his death has been faked. You should definetly check it out; it has sosos many beautifully diverse and well written characters, queer rep, a banging atmosphere and art style and the most beautiful depiction of friendship❤

who is malek

Malek Solh is my most beloved, gorgeous, beautiful boy and main character of @eeriecrests . He is the first ever Arab and Palestinian character I encountered in media and for that he holds my whole heart. Haters will say he died in the forest but i know better 😌 Below a little video with visuals, but you should just check out Eerie Crests for more of him and the generally gorgeous art!

I was thinking about that chapter of Eerie Crests where Malek visits Noah and Greg and them

And yknow?? It's always kinda stuck out in my mind but I was trying to figure out *what* stuck out and. It's Malek. Malek seems so easygoing and happy and effortless with other people, he's definitely heavily admired. He doesn't let it get to his head though, and that's why people like him so much, he's a good guy. But in those panels, the way he stands and interacts and speaks we're not seeing that. He seems like prey, and that is not something we've seen from him other than maybe in the woods. We know he was alone, we know they're scary, but are they *that* scary?? What don't we know that made Malek fuckin Solh feel and act like prey in their presence???
