Like you, he is very against the idea or prospect harming of others in any way. Physical, mental, or even ignoring someone.

That goes for animals as well!

Anyone who respects nature or animals is a friend in his book.

Oh and he won’t force you to ‘face your fear’ of spiders. They’re not for everyone and he knows that. (Me too, I got ops with them things)

He’ll gently guide them out your way though if any pass by.

Especially those who take time out of their day to be nice to others, regardless of what they look like.

Albeit, even if he is the First Druid, he can always understand shyness. You’re not the first person he’s met to be introverted or shy- so he knows how to approach you.

Also as a healer, he can probably assist you with the nausea in some regards.

Via healing spells mostly, and if that doesn’t work there can be more realistic ways to help.

He’d also appreciate having someone who can take care of others while he’s away, someone to hold down the fort.

Granted, he doesn’t expect you to one up people like Kagha. No- he means just to assist those in need.

He’s more than willing to help you out in any way possible.

I find myself wishing I can draw people better (I practice and I think I’m getting better but sometimes I find myself hating what I draw) because I now want to draw Kyrrha + Halsin with Zarra + Gale on a double date. They’d be on a picnic or something. It’d be so cute. 🥰

So. I remain an absolute basketball to be passed around. What do I mean? In my first playthrough of Baldurs Gate 3, I romanced Halsin, and then also banged pretty much any non-companion I could find, as well as get the mind blown achievement. I feel both proud and disgusted at myself and I have no regrets.

My BG3 character! Her name is actually Octavia (so Tav for short). She’s a wood elf ranger (Beast master), her favored familiar and companion are the raven and wolves.

Unlike most wood elves, she actually enjoys the cities for some specific reasons: the fun events, gets to hang out and play with children (since they’re rare amongst elves and it’s her wish to have some of her own hopefully one day) and any new stuff going on because she’s overall very curious in nature.

But like most wood elves, she loves nature and animals, so she doesn’t stick around in the city for too long, also the fact she likes to seek out new adventures so she never remains in the same place for too long.

She will be paired up with daddy bear Halsin~

Currently I have so many bg3 saves bc I refuse to delete my old ones that will likely never be finished (first ever gameplays, not optimized, everytime I open one I get overwhelmed and stop), but also because I keep making new games with the specific purpose of romancing a certain companion, seeing special dialog, doing a specific style of run, or getting an achievement on steam.

We met the bear Halsin and save him. He waited for us to restore balance.

(I was sad to leave him but we're in honor mode, if we lose him we lose him for the whole game)

We met Dror and his friends but it didn't end well for them. We climbed on the roof and we were near the priestess. Some Eldritch blasts and thunderwaves later we were going for Dror.

(because I put Gale too close to the edge he was drawn by the priestess and he died. Gladly we choose where we want to revive)

While we were fighting a lone goblin, he ran back and Minthara went alone. Finally it was Dror. Gi Vah'k'rel made all the roof lights fall on them, and Dror chased him on the highs.

(my man put powder baril near the ladder but I put my character too close again and a goblin targeted them. The powder was not on fire but my man wasn't happy and sighed a lot)

Lae'zel had some critical hits. Gale was magic. Zalwrick did great blasts. Quasit was here for the support, because we love him.

Halsin was relieved.

headcanon // nature's fury attack style

A full druid build Halsin does not have the highest level of strength outside of his bear form despite looking quite capable. In elven form, he relies on adjusting nature to fit the situation and benefit allies all while moving in to eventually bear up and hold enemies in place as a meat shield. (Also fun to throw a bit of barbarian lessons on him so that he can ragebear.)

A typical strategy would be to use plant growth to disrupt the balance and movement speed of multiple enemies, followed by a locust swarm that attacks both enemies while swarming the grown plants, or dowsing the plants with a create water spell to saturate the ground and make it more susceptible to call lightning.

Wall of fire, stone, and thorns are also utilized in blocking off approaching hordes when the time calls, though the situation would have to be dire for him to call upon a destructive force like fire anywhere near his grove. It's a balancing act between protecting allies and the environment.

Pokemon Dnd Themed Voice Headcanons.

I know it’s been ages since I’ve tackled this project but writers block for that has been kicking me in the ass. Thankfully with small bursts of writing thanks to Baldur’s gate for inspiration , I’ve decided before I post chapter two share my thoughts on what the cast of the first series would be.

Without further ado, here are my own thoughts and headcanons(yes of my own creation).

Starting with the main character, Hiro Fukuda I think would share the same voice as Tails from the Sonic series. Though not as tech savvy, Hiro is very adventurous and crafty enough to survive in the wilds with his camping gear. He also shares an older brother/young brother relationship with his partner Pokemon, Smaug as the series goes on.

Smaug the charizard I feel like he’d shared his voice with Halsin. Warm and wise and very protective of his trainer and team mates.

Naga the Gyarados I feel and fear she’d share her voice with Cherri Bomb from Hasbin Hotel. Chaotic and aggressive.

Illithid the hypno I have a couple ideas because he is kinda a tormented warlock with voices in his head. Ansem the Wise with a distorted twist when he has his episodes.

Faeleaf the vileplume, Fluttershy from MLP. Closed off, shy, skittish, and nature oriented. Fits like a glove.

Hano the hitmonchan, just Master Oogway. Calm, disciplined, a bit silly at times to lighten the mood when times are difficult.

And last but not least, Hiro’s rival, Lu. Raven from Teen Titans.

After dedicating 13 hours to its creation, I have finally completed this half-length portrait. At long last, I have captured my favorite character, Master Halsin, from Baldur's Gate 3! I've succeeded in depicting the muscular essence of this beloved older gentleman (the beloved character bonus truly works).
