Personally I think Revali would be physically affectionate with Zelda. Seeing as he's a commoner (at least not nobility), he didn't grow up around the environment of "untouchable royals." so he's just throwing a wing around her shoulder or leaning in her. (one time he shoved her playfully and she about squealed with delight.) With Zelda, I think she'd appreciate a friend who wouldn't be afraid to be close to her or speak honestly with her. I think she'd find his attitude refreshing and he would likewise finding her interesting and accepting for his idea of how nobility acts. They just give me a very loving platonic relationship vibe

I am officially done with Math!!!!! Yesterday's exam honestly wasn't too great, there were some good questions but others I completely wasn't sure of what method to use.. Still, I do only need an overall B for Math. And anyway it's just Chemistry left and the 2 exams are a week apart each which is great ^^

These last 2 days I revised with J over a call where he'd recall the info for his subjects and I'd do a past paper (or in the case of last night, draw and do my nails lol). I've also been sending K my study/exam updates as she has hers, and we're planning a day out together where we'll watch How To Train Your Dragon in the cinema and I'm so excited!! It'll be so nice to properly talk with her again and have only 1 short test to look forward to.

I also just finished Noughts And Crosses and I criedddddddddd, I forgot about a lot of the details in the second half of the book, and some things were obviously different in the series but still.... I think it ended better (as in, happier) than in the book, but... :((((((

While watching I also painted my nails and I hope they keep for these next 2 weeks cos I think they're really pretty ^^

Days 5 to 8 of round 2 have a lot of group interaction time which is great for scores, not so great in that it takes me much longer to play through... But hey contestants are becoming friends and that's awesome to watch!

I'm still trying to think about exactly how many bonus points to give contestants if any of them win more than one challenge... Because I'm indecisive I think I'll check after day 8 how much more improvement those who get dates have and then do a poll about what percentage of that score should be given as bonus points for a second win.

but actually all it does is confuse and befuddle you farther than ever before

and also you make friends with the most annoying (read: great, smart, lovely, kind, but argumentative as ALL GET OUT) people in the world and then you realize you've BECOME one of those people and you kind of want to just curl up in a nice quiet little hole in the ground with all your books and read and think until a complete and total understanding of the world falls out of your noggin and everything makes sense; but actually you just want to take a walk in the woods with a friend and not think about anything for at least a year.

Because of your last question, now I want to know what kinda buddy comedy movie Lucy and Simon would star in?

Well, we know for a fact that Simon is gonna be some sort of father/big brother figure to Lucy. Because even at his worst rake lifestyle, I fully believe Simon still would have been a better role model than Lucy's uncle or brother. And from the book, we know Simon isn't bad with children. He just refuses to carry on the bloodline. We see him positively interact with both Gregory and Hyacinth, who were ages 11 and 10 at the time.

I like to think Simon somehow acquired Lucy during his traveling years. Not 100% sure how, probably some sort of tradegy for Lucy's parents, but somehow Lucy ended up in Simon's custody. Originally, Simon was just going to make sure Lucy got back to England safely and drop her off in the care of her relatives. But Lucy was so adamant about not going back. There was something in her expression that Simon recognized and empathize with.

Simon, being the young and kinda dumb 20 something year old he was, didn't think much beyond that and just took Lucy wherever he went. Was this kidnapping, maybe, but Lucy's uncle didn't care when he got that letter one less problem for him. He was happy to sign over custody to Simon. Simon, being the nerd that he is, rationalized that he was giving Lucy an advanced education. Lucy was just happy to strap in for the ride and not back to her creepy uncle.

So now we got the pre marriage girl dad Simon and his precious baby girl Lucy. Simon tries his best to give Lucy a childhood better than his own, and yes, sometimes he may spoil the girl. Simon's nerd side comes out full force when he helps Lucy with her studies, especially math. He teaches her how to follow the stars like a map.

There are some who theorize that Lucy is actually Simon's illegitimate child who takes her mother, but those rumors are ignored. Simon himself rolls his eyes at those rumors while Lucy herself follows his lead. She doesn't understand fully herself, but if Simon says to give them no mind, then she'll do just that.

Things start to get interesting when Simon starts his fake courtship with Daphne. Lucy thinks they should court for real. She likes Daphne, and Daphne has quickly taken the girl, too. Simon is lowkey side eyeing Gregory, though, because why is he standing so close to Lucy? Good sir, you both are too young to think of courtship!

Big jump from the last update being day 12 😅 And honestly, not sure what to start with now....

I have finished 4 exams so far and I've got 3 left (the next one being Math U.2 on Wednesday) and I feel alright about them. For each one I could've done a lot more work, but I was still pretty much as prepared I could be. I also revised the MOST I have EVER revised last week, being just short of 26 HOURS which is CRAZY. And my brain has been moooore than fried because of it... (I am miscounting days and times and I don't know what's going on anymore 😭😭😭😭)

But within all the bedrotting and bad habits and becoming a study-hermit, I have really begun getting my life together again! (once again screwing over Notion for an app that can do mostly similar things despite it not being it's primary purpose ;-;) I have created a sort of masterlist on google docs consisting of a mood board, different goals, Habitica challenges I'm in, tasks I've to get sorted and habits I want to implement — and I'm so so proud of how it looks!!! This is 100% something I'm going to keep adding to and making use of long term!

So recently I've been (among studying still ofc) cleaning a lot, reading even (I started Powerless by Lauren Roberts over a month ago and I'm finally picking it up again and it's so good!!), planning some more art projects (and I'm soooo excited for Art Fight to begin!), and done more smaller organisations.

For having not updated in so long I planned to write about so much more but that pretty much sums it up... :/ So I'll leave youse off with some pictures and the fact that the next TSJ entry will be uploaded tomorrow!

Oh and I also had my school leavers party!!! (img. 1) Been to 1 if my last violin lessons as I hadn't realised I'd be having so many exams on the days of them 😓 (img. 3) I've tried a reverse To Do list and it's working wonders!!! (img. 5) and I was invited on a family road trip with K and her family one of the days which was really lovely 😊 (img. 6)

Also! I bought myself a new, pretty notebook into which I'll add the likes of less important passwords (like for tumblr, AF etc.) and a savings plan for when me and K start work and properly begin looking for a place to rent together. But that's as far as I've gotten with ideas for it. I want the notebook to have more of those important, adult-y things, not for it to be another journal.

Any ideas for what else it could have?

Can you imagine what it must've been like when Phoebe reunited with Podcast in New York, seeing him in-person for the first time in 2 years?

Imagine if Ray called her to his bookshop for a surprise, only for her to come in and see some old books and games she's seen already.

"That's not the surprise," Ray says, grinning at someone behind her.

She turns around and is delighted to see a familiar face.

"Podcast!"

"Phoebe!"

They do their elaborate secret handshake, just like old times.

"You remembered!" he exclaims.

"Of course! How could I forget?"

She gives him an awkward, but sincere hug. After being friends this long, she's comfortable enough to embrace him at last. They've got a lot of catching up to do.

apparently the pokemon vgc championships are happening at the moment and some of my friends were discussing the meta and movesets and KO probability against other pokemon that see high level play and speculating about EV distribution and my eyes just kept glazing over because that is far too much Math in my pokemon.

the true best trainer is the one who simply believes in their pokemon the hardest. When I select a move I do not go "ohh this is risky, there's only an 88% chance to KO..." I simply choose to believe that my pokemon love me very much and therefore will get a critical hit and win me the battle. Every probability is 50/50, you either win or you lose!!!
