I love imagining swapping the protagonists of totally incompatable shows.

Aang from Avatar the last airbender and Danny Phantom.

Aang sets up a therapy program for ghosts so they can talk out their problems without the need for excess violence. He and Sam get along very well, as they have many ideals in common. He and Tucker also get along well, because Tucker reminds him of Sokka. Aang is essentially on vacation from being the avatar for a bit.

Danny feels obligated to do Aang's job, since he's the reason Aang isn't here. But unfortunately, ghost powers and bending aren't very similar. He can mostly do the bridge-to-the-spirit-world job since he's a half-ghost anyway, and he has a ton of fun fighting Zuko. But an entire army is a little out of his ability. Mostly he's fine until they get to book 3 stuff.

Aphmau from Minecraft diaries and Izuku Midoriya from My hero academia.

Izuku shows up in Phoenix Drop with no idea what's going on, but he gets the scoop pretty quickly. Suddenly their Zane problems go from 'insurmountable' to 'yeah, Midoriya can take care of that in a couple of weeks'.

Meanwhile, Aphmau gets to spend some time in an enviorment where there are people already used to dealing with young people who have no idea how to control their powers, and she gets some time to actually practice with competant teachers.

So one of my favorite game series is Horizon Zero Dawn, a post robot apocalypse tribal tech franchise where you have to fight robots and other people. It has so much goddamn lore but I know that absolutely no one in this fandom knows what it is. But I am going to ask this anyway

Context: I've had the idea for a while now that ein gets brought back to live via shad but now he's in the past and he brings some people to the past to hurt them ofc

So this interaction is after they learn he's there

Mcd garroth: on your HONOR do you swear to protect your lady aphmau from this.. beast you describe?

Mcd Laurence (this is bc he's a sassy mad bitch in context): this man has no honor. No pride bounds him, you of all have seen how he interacts-

Mys garroth: on my life I will protect not only aphmau but Aaron. Zane. Vylad. Katelyn and Travis. Lucinda. Kim. All of my friends and FAMILY. and.. all of you as well.

Minecraft Diaries characters are based on the anime Fairy Tail.

So, with a lot of argument going on about characterization going on in this fandom right now, I think we need to take a step back and look at where Aphmau she based her characters on in order to get a real picture and understanding. Fairy Tail, one of my favorite animes and one of Aphmaus as well.

Before I get into it, here is my proof

She has had Aaron cosplay as 2 separate characters (Gray and Gajeel) and had her own character cosplay as Levy.

Now, Fairy Tail is an anime that focuses on the ideas of family while having extremely flawed characters who are at the end of the day, just trying to do the right thing. Characters are arrogant, rude, and have betrayed each other multiple times because they believe that they are doing what is right. They are characters who, as wacky as they are, are also people to their core.

Using Gajeel as an example, the first interaction he has with Levy involves him LITERALLY CRUCIFYING HER! It is treated as horrible, and while he was working for an evil guild at the time, he was still mistrusted. He did manage to redeem himself, and him and Levy did end up having a great relationship. He is still an asshole but he is not a bad person. He just did bad actions that he repented for.

That can be related to a lot of the characters that are being discussed. Characters are not stagnant, they are people at their core. They need to be able to grow and change and have opportunities to be better. A good character is never one note and needs flaws to over come or to humanize them. Aphmau learned that from Fairy Tail and brought it to her own writing.

Aphmau Mulan au

Aphmau is Mulan and she runs away from her family (who I would love to be some goofy characters lol like imagine Brendan + his wife [they have horses too!!] But idk anyone who wouldn't be important to her actual arc outside of the home, maybe Donna and Logan) to fight in her fathers place* in the war between phoenix drop and okhasis.

*maybe if Donna and Logan are the parents then Logan was worried abt going out to fight bc he'd be revealed as a werewolf and yk how people are ... Donna and Logan have a fight cause Donna doesn't want him to go but Logan doesn't want the soldiers to come and take him away in front of aphmau who I'd imagine is remake!aphmau aka very clueless and very socially unaware. Aphmau hears this and though she doesn't know how to fight, she decides to leave because she feels guilty for being such a problem to them. She always wants to help, she wants to make people feel better, and she'll do anything for the people who care for her.

Anyway, aphmau leaves w/horse and mushu (character tbt*) tracks her down and goes "hey bro, maybe don't do THAT" and aphmau (after attempting to murder mushu) goes "I'll do what I must! This land and it's people has given me more than I can give back, I need to do this for them!" And mushu goes "well okay that's fine ig, ill teach you what you need then!"

*would be really funny to have Dante here, don't know why but he's the right amount of "girl are you crazy???" And "i will do anything to protect you" for this role. Anyone else have a good idea?

The two scramble to the army spot (maybe brightport?) And shit hits the fan. I have a weird amount of ideas for this considering I'm not planning on writing it so feel free to steal the idea or add to it!!!

Mulan mom + dad: Donna and logan

Mulan's horse: aphmau's horse in the "I got turned into a werewolf pup (gone wrong)" episodes (the one that Garroth's horse makes fun of)

Li Shang: this one I'm debating, ig it's up to what ship you like?? Personally Garroth, Aaron, and Laurance could all work here, its up to the dynamic you want.

Shan Yu: Zane... But also maybe shad (lmao shad yu) because either could work!

When people talk about mystreet and mcd crossovers, people usually talk about how the relationship between the person and the other version of themselves would be rather then cross universe friendships.

But I was thinking just now, mystreet Garroth and mcd Aphmau would get along so well I think

Guys hear me out there are similarities between the two if you think about it-
