Where you are obsessed with jellyfishes

“Shrimpyyyyyy~ you’re OBSESSED with those floaty blobby things, huh??”

At first he doesn’t get it like, really? Jellyfish? They don’t even do anything exciting.

But when he sees how much you light up when you talk about them? The way your whole face glows when you press your hands against the tank glass and gasp like “LOOK AT THAT ONE!!”? He’s hooked.

“Hehehe, you’re so funny when you nerd out. Do the jellyblobs hypnotize you or somethin’? I could just squish your cheeks right now.”

Once he accepts the jellyfish are his rival for your attention, he takes it upon himself to make them interesting to him, too.

That means one day you walk in and find him wearing THAT ONE AND YEAH YOU KNOW WHAT (or were they octopuses??) jellyfish plush on his head.

“Look, Shrimpy! I’m a jellyfish now! Am I your favorite?”

He also names the jellyfish in the tank.

“That one’s named Gumdrop. The glowy one over there? That’s Stabby McFloat.”

If anyone in the Lounge makes fun of your obsession? Floyd will literally chase them out while yelling, “YOU DON’T DESERVE SHRIMPY’S FUN FACTS!”

He starts giving you jellyfish-themed gifts: plushies, socks, custom jellyfish hair clips.

One time he even tried to catch you a real one. thankfully Jade stopped him.

Overall? He doesn’t totally get the jellyfish thing, but he gets you. And he thinks it’s adorable how happy they make you. “Heh… if jellyfish make you smile like that, I guess they ain’t so boring after all.”

He’s immediately entertained. Not in a mean way he just genuinely finds it delightful how into jellyfish you are.

You’re sitting cross-legged in front of the tank like a little kid at an aquarium whispering to yourself:

“That one looks like a wiggly pancake I love him.”

Jade walks over and smiles, tilting his head. “Would you like to feed them?”

From that moment on he’s lowkey your partner in crime. You tell him random facts like

Brings you tea and snacks while you sit by the tank. Sometimes he even refills the lights to match your mood, soft purples on calm days, brighter neon for your hype ones.

One day he catches you humming to the jellyfish and talking to them like they’re pets and he just. Softly laughs. “They seem to adore you too, dear, as do I.”

The first time he saw you sitting alone in Mostro Lounge just staring dreamily at the jellyfish tank for like an hour straight he thought something was wrong.

“Is she… okay?” “Oh, she’s fine,” Jade says with a smile. “She just really likes jellyfish.”

At first Azul is like huh weird, but alright.

But when you keep coming back every day just to sit there with your chin resting on your hands, whispering little facts under your breath like “That one’s probably a moon jelly oh my god it’s so squishy-looking I’m gonna cry,”—he gets curious.

One day you excitedly stop him mid-walk:

“Azul! Did you know jellyfish don’t have brains or hearts but they still move around and glow and do all this amazing stuff?? They're like little aliens, it's so cool!!”

And he’s just standing there. Blinking. Processing.

He tries to act all professional like, “Ahem. Fascinating, yes.” But inside he’s going what the hell she’s adorable??

After a while, he stops pretending and starts actually looking forward to seeing you.

Makes sure there are new jellyfishes and pretends it’s “for variety” but it’s 1000% to see your face light up and go “OH MY GOSH IS THAT A LAGOON JELLY??”

Eventually starts sitting with you during your jellyfish-watching hour, sipping tea and quietly listening as you ramble.He just smiles.

“You’re quite passionate, aren’t you?” he’ll murmur, trying not to look too flustered. “It’s… lovely.”

have you ever ordered a coke mcfloat only for the ice cream part not to have syrup but you were fine with it so after eating the ice cream you mixed the ice and coke with the straw only for the drink to look like a mc cafe coffee instead because there actually was syrup but it fell to the bottom?

McDONALD’S LAUNCHES WAVE 3 OF “NIGHT CLASSROOM” FOR STUDENTS NATIONWIDE

Students nationwide can rejoice, as the fast food chain announced the return of McDonald’s Night Classroom, where party areas are transformed into late night study hubs where students and teachers can study and do homework while enjoying exclusive perks and McDonald’s favorites via the McDonald’s App!

“In the summer heat, we know how hard it is to concentrate when you’re not comfortable,” says Meryl Adiel T. Hernandez, Assistant Vice President Corporate Relations and Impact Golden Arches Development Corporation. Hernandez explained that the McDonald’s Night Classroom was conceived to meet the challenge of students seeking a good after-school spot review space: "As McDonald's continues to grow and reach more customers nationwide, we recognize an even bigger responsibility to address the needs of the community, including students who've always frequented our stores -- whether it's for a quick snack or an all-nighter study session. McDonald's Night Classroom is one of the ways we support students and young professionals by providing a safe space that allows them to focus on working for their future."

McDonald’s Night Classroom Wave 3 is the biggest yet, with 107 participating branches across the Philippines. From 8pm-4am on April 15-May 31, students can enjoy dedicated study areas featuring wide tables, ample lighting, and gadget charging ports. At the same time, free unlimited wi-fi that allows them to do their online projects and research. To sweeten the deal, students who register will receive a FREE 16oz Coke McFloat for every purchase of a McDonald’s Night Classroom product offer via the McDo App.

Excitement for Wave 3 spread quickly, with students responding to the announcement by tagging their friends, such as Polytechnic University of the Philippines’ Kim Esteban, who named two schoolmates, while Sybel Sean Subaldo of Negros Occidental, tagged three friends with the call, “Siri ta tuon parasi” (Let’s go here!).

I am writing this to express what I did on sembreak. But what is sembreak? I, Precious Roan M. Lopez unwinding the things I’ve done in the semreak. What a better time to unwind and recharge during sembreak.

High schools offer wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports and clubs. These activities help students provide opportunities for students to explore their passions, develop leaderships skills, and build social connections. High schools is a time for self discovery and time for personal growth.

Students have the opportunity to discover or develop some skills through numerous academic pursuits, talents, and interests in addition students may have the opportunity to choose they want to become based on their interest and career goal. High schools is a mile stone to accomplish because some people did not even go to high school and an event where students receive their diplomas and celebrate accomplishments. High school is often the most unforgettable time of your life because it is often marked the transition from high school to the next phase of your life.

During my first year in high school in Regional Science High school and a dormer, I first struggled adjusting on school because I only see my family twice a week. I’ve been through a lot this school year but I know it will be all paid off.

Sembreak is a term usually used in the Philippines, and it’s a short form of “Semestral Break”. “Sem” stands for semestral and “Break” indicates a pause or interruption in academic activities. It is where a period of rest or vacation between academic semester in school.

During the night after the exam, I did my schedule for the semestral break. On the first night I scheduled to relax and rest, watched some movies, I watched the “The 8th Night”. I was not that much scared because it was my second time to view it. I also caught some sleeps because these few days I always stayed up late and lacked some sleeps because of the exam, but even if I stayed all night I still ended up failing. Afterwards, I did some hobbies; I did like riding the bike.

On the day three to four, I did some advance reading on Math that I still did not know about. I studied the next lesson for the 3rd quarter: the multiplying polynomials, dividing polynomials and special products. After watching the explanation on Youtube, I finally understand it but I still don’t know the dividing polynomials. We also went to the wedding of my parent’s co-worker; we ate our lunch there and stayed there for like an hour watching them putting money on the newlyweds and doing some traditional way of celebrating wedding. After that we went to SM Cauayan to buy some stuff ad to bond and relax with my family.

In the afternoon we went to Bambanti Festival. We romed around there to see the beautiful Bambanti Village Agri-Tourism Booth. We took some pictures and then bought some snacks to eat like the Pasteurized milk, cotton candy, and corn with condensed milk and with cheese. We did not go to the concert in the evening because my parents had told me that there are going to be many people at night.

The next day, I was approved to hangout with my friends. We went to the park played with the bouncy car, slides, seesaw and swings. We also played there for a good 40 minutes. We felt like we were children again and then we went to the Korean mart to buy something. After that we played at the ground floor of the mall and then we headed to “Time Zone” to play games, we played the fish things, the ball one where you have to get the ball on the hole and we won many tickets there. We also played the gun thing and my friend accidentally pressed the one player button.

On the last day before the last day of sembreak, we were allowed to go on a sleep over by my friend’s house. I saw my two friends who did not pass the entrance exam. We swam until nightfall then my friend’s father bough McDonald’s and pizza. I ate chicken with spaghetti and a piece of pizza with Mcfloat. We watched “Alive” Korean Drama. It was so intense that we shouted and screamed at the actress when she fell to the ground. After that, we ate our midnight snack and we went to sleep.

On the last day of sembreak I had to go to the dorm because I needed to. When I had arrived I unpacked my things and went downstairs to get the food I asked auntie to buy for me. After that, we waited for my other roommate to watch a movie; when she had arrived we watch the movie ”Scream”. It was so fun but not scary. It had so many plot twists that I did not expect. One of the friends of the victim is the killer and the other killer is the boyfriend’s sister; the fight was so intense and had many jump scares.

I spend my sembreak by bonding with my family too. It was really memorable to be with my loved ones; we went to places to bond with them and build strong relationships for this can help you to open up or share some thought, feelings and allows you to get know each other deeper.

We have to prioritize the task that are important. We have to set our goals because clear goals can give you directions and it can make your life easier. Don’t put necessary things later

The most important is we have to balance our life because it is important for relaxation, hobbies and work. Time is one of the most crucial aspects of life. It’s a gift that we have to use wisely with family and friends because once it’s gone you can never go back so make a memories that is unforgettable.
