hey uh. In ISAT act five has anyone else encountered like... maybe it's a glitch but like personally I had memory of sadnesses equipped before act five started and then when act five started and the memory changed it still gave me the memory of sadnesses effect anyway? and like I loaded an act 4 save to see if I could do it again and I could but also I've never heard anyone talk about this so maybe it's just me? It just nags at me a bit bc sometimes I'll be reading those character analysis posts and ppl will be like yeah it's so hard for Siffrin in act five where they have to fight all these sadnesses all alone... But!! for me!! I didn't do that at all!! My Siffrin waltzed through and literally didn't fight any of them except technically the bosses. Like I think I maybe fought one sadness in all of act five. I had a bit of trouble navigating the house at one point but I wasn't fighting a bunch of sadnesses. I'm guessing this wasn't the experience for anyone else though?

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I bring you sad news today. Murphy, the eagle who incubated a rock (and later raised a foster eaglet after his rock "hatched"), passed away at age 33 (almost a decade longer than long-lived wild eagles!). A tornado hit his local area. It's believed he sustained blunt force head trauma, likely from spooking during the high winds, as his cage and fellow eagles were unharmed.

Murphy is survived by his foster son, Baby 23-126, who was successfully released into the wild, and a second foster eaglet he was still caring for; this eaglet is expected to be able to be released as well.

I know a lot of people on Tumblr enjoyed seeing his story, and I know we will remember him fondly.

One of the most personal, saddest things about living in America is the summertime.

There is 0 reason for American adults not to have a summer break. I can only say this with a full throat so loud, but other countries have policies and laws that give adults summertime.

It is not a joke to say France is kind of shutdown for August. There are over a dozen countries that have enough mandatory, legally required leave available to take an entire month off, or more. PLUS mandatory PAID holidays.

It's Brazil and Russia (ooh scary BRIC countries outgrowing the US and coming for us). India AND China give up to 2 weeks mandatory vacation leave, plus sick leave on top.

It's Afghanistan (20 days). It's Angola (22). It's Argentina(25) and Armenia (25) and Australia (20). It's Cambodia (technically unlimited; you can eventually get 15 or 17 days per month vacation).

That us on top of mandatory PAID public holidays. Cambodia can somehow manage 27 mandatory paid holidays plus upwards of 18 vacation days per year and going up from there, and we in the US can't even manage mandatory paid holidays.

We don't even get paid on Christmas and Memorial Day. And even trying to convince some people, let alone politicians, that everyone should get paid on Christmas is unfair to compare to pulling teeth.

Please. Please. I want to have a better life. I want you to have a better life.

I want you to not miss Summer Break. Because France and Cambodia don't.

The Garden Doesn’t Know She’s Gone Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Fanfic by MythboundCal

Zelda’s garden doesn’t know she’s gone.

It still blooms like she’ll be back any second—like the sunflowers haven’t noticed she stopped humming to them, like the lavender didn’t watch her vanish into light.

Link stands at the gate. The wood is soft with age, half-swallowed by ivy. The watering can rests exactly where she left it in Hateno. Rusting. Waiting.

He doesn’t touch it.

Not out of neglect.

Just… fear.

That if he waters the garden, it might forget her—that its roots will stop searching for her footsteps, its blossoms will stop blooming in her colors.

So he lets it grow wild.

The basil climbs the wrong wall. The squash vines curl over the porch. The chimes still sing when the wind hits just right, a song no one ever wrote down.

And her gloves still hang on a bent nail by the shed. One turned inside out. He doesn’t fix it.

Somewhere beneath the soil are seeds she never named. He won’t dig for them. If they bloom, they bloom. If they don’t… he’ll wait with them.

Today, he sits. The Master Sword leans nearby, but he doesn’t reach for it.

The porch creaks under his weight. He watches the marigolds twitch in the breeze, reaching for hands that never come.

The villagers don’t ask anymore. He’s glad.

Because how do you explain a wound that grows flowers?

Even now, he hears her voice on the air—light, scolding, fond. “Don’t overwater the rosemary, Link. It hates being fussed over.”

He doesn’t answer.

Just lets the wind rustle the leaves. Lets the garden carry the silence.

And when a white lily opens—out of season, out of place—he doesn’t wonder how.

The garden remembers.

So he doesn’t have to.

Eddie woke up remembering absolutely nothing except his uncle, the Hellfire guys, and the gorgeous Adonis who looked exactly like his husband.

When Eddie finally got back his memory, he was already too neck deep in the domestic bliss with Steve Harrington to call off the whole thing anymore. He still had beef with the guy, but nothing a few kisses and a bed couldn't fix. They were husbands, after all.

I think the one thing that is never considered in SVSSS is that Shen Jiu and Shen Yuan Definetly dress differently.

PIDW seems to have never describe Shen Qingqiu’s clothing, as Shen Yuan dresses as what he Thinks a scholar should wear. Contrary to popular belief, no one’s wardrobe is static, especially if ancient China wore hundreds of layers. Shen Yuan just grabbed clothes that screams modest and scholarly.

And definitely not Shen Jiu’s Style. For one, considering Shen jius personality he wouldn’t wear a robe, despite long robes in ancient china were a signal of nobility he just wouldn’t. It’s way too impractical for cultivation in his opinion. He doesn’t want modest or scholarly, he wants to be seen as a powerful peak lord, and well, his sect siblings aren’t a good example [ except for Liu Qingge, he kinda copies his style bc shuuuu, more reasons for him to hate him. ]. So he instead goes to dressing more like a very powerful cultivator.

So I believe this official art is how he dresses, and not at all like how Shen Yuan dresses.

And that Yue Qingyuan knew Shen Jiu was gone solely because of this [ the other reasons are just to confirm it. ] but that’s besides the point.
