sorry rant time i wish BWBA was more focused on showcasing railways around the world instead of the most generic and somewhat oriental portrayal of countries. i want thomas to talk to different shunters like him (like w/hong mei) and what their jobs/respective industries are.

kids prob already know or will learn abt abt stuff like pandas and the Great Wall and lunar new year and blah blah blah. and so will most ppl! BWBA could’ve appealed more to the train kiddos- y’know, as a train show, and educate them on railways besides in the UK. aughhh

A friend and I were discussing what we're like when we're sick and we decided people usually fall into one of these five 'sick modes': *Everyone is probably multiple of these at different times depending on how sick they are and with what but we think most people have a mode they default to and become more often than the others*

If booking a truck driver for back to back shifts until they fall asleep at the wheel, crash, and die counts as being worked to death, I have personally met employers who've worked employees to death and gotten away with a slap on the wrist. It may not be universal, but it's a hell of a lot more common than a lot of us would prefer to think.

So, fun fact about the skinned FurReal pony - I got the ID wrong, but only because Smores and Butterscotch's necks are semi-fixed in position, and I didn't think to google if the image I had of Butterscotch was mirrored.

The skinned horse IS Butterscotch, not Smores, but all of that's besides the point.
