Polygamy in Hebrew and Greek Scriptures: The Truth About Patriarchs' Marriages

Polygamy is NOT in the Bible. 1 Timothy 3 says one wife. It frustrates me when bible believing men go out of context and pattern. Abraham had one wife at a time. Hagar was under Sarai's control and it was a one-time event with Abram.

Is polygamy practiced today because Abraham, Ya’cov and David, did it? But did they, do it? We know Solomon did as he is the King of ‘The Torah Take Down.’ Let’s look at the words in Greek and Hebrew and who is called a wife and who is called a concubine. The…

JON SNOW || MAB DAROGAN

According to Welsh mythology, Mab Darogan or the "Son of Destiny" is a messianic figure that would force the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings out of Britain and reclaim it for the Celtic Britons.

In ASOIAF, Jon Snow is assassinated while he's about to rail against the Boltons who have usurped his family's castle and currently rule the North. It's possible that after his eventual resurrection, he will still want to fight against the Boltons and drive them out of his ancestral house. After he succeeds, the people of the North who have suffered under Bolton's rule will see him not only as their rightful ruler since he's the heir to their late King Robb Stark but also as a savior (aka a messianic figure).

Through the centuries various historical and mythological figures have been linked to Mab Darogan.

Jon Snow shares some parallels with two of those: the mythical King Arthur and the historical Henry VII of England.

Both Arthur and Jon are illegitimate kids of royalty. King Uther Pendragon fell in love with the married Igraine and either forced her to be with him or she also fell in love with him depending on the version of the story. Similarly, Prince and Heir to the throne Rhaegar Targaryen fell in love with Lyanna Stark, who was engaged to another man, and according to rumors in Westeros, he kidnapped her and raped her. However, it's more likely by various hints we get through the books that the affair between Rhaegar and Lyanna was consensual. Both affairs lead to wars and Uther and Rhaegar dying without meeting their sons.

It is worth noticing that in some tales, Uther and Igraine are married after her first husband's death so Arthur isn't illegitimate. In ASOIAF universe, Rhaegar could have possibly married Lyanna as Targaryen aren't against polygamy and thus making Jon his legitimate heir. Not that it actually matters, because just like Arthur is the true heir to his father even in the versions he's a bastard, similarly Jon Snow is the narrative heir of Rhaegar who can save the world regardless of his bastard status or lack of it.

Let's move to the similarities between Henry VII and Jon Snow. Martin has already shared that the War of Roses was a major inspiration for the book series. At the end of the War of Roses, it's neither House Lancaster (inspiration for House Lannister) nor House York (inspiration for House Stark) which emerges victorious but instead the new King is Henry Tudor who starts his own dynasty. The said King wasn't the most likely candidate to the throne as he wasn't closed related to any of the previous Kings, like Jon isn't related to either Tommen/Joffrey/Robert/Stannis/Renly. Instead he drew his claim through kinship to older generation Kings with whom he didn't share the same surname. Jon is also related with all Targaryen Kings despite not sharing their surname.

Henry's father died in battle before he was born, like Rhaegar died on Trident. Both Henry and Jon were raised by their uncles who shaped lot of their views. Henry spent a long time in exile hiding from his opponents and similarly Eddard Stark raised Jon Snow to the far north to keep him away from King Robert's wrath- in case he found out about Jon's existence. Besides, even after leaving Winterfell, Jon went to the Wall which counts as a sort of exile away from the rest of the Kingdom. Henry returned to England from exile and fought and won the english crown against King Richard III. Jon is dying as he tries to raise an army to fight Ramsay Bolton in order to reclaim Winterfell. When he's eventually resurrected, he's gonna continue his fight against Boltons and probably like Henry Tudor he will come out victorious. Could he also battle the possible King candidates of the South? That's something up to speculation.

Another interesting thing about Henry VII is that his coat of arms included a white dog and a red dragon, which is very similar to a possible Jon Snow's coat of arms (a red dragon for House Targaryen and a white direwolf for House Stark).

The famous badge of House Tudor (Henry VII's House) consists of the combination of the white rose (House York) and the red rose (House Lancaster). Could Jon Snow also combine both Targaryen and Stark colors on his own badge? Or maybe he'll adapt the blue rose which is significant to his parents'story?

It felt the same and different as a Ground Bridge. It was as if the world changed around him, had he was changed with it. Once he realized he had returned to reality, he looked about. Arcee looked as she always did, both dour and loving, but Sirenia smiled. He gave her a curious look.

"This is far from my first warp." she simply stated, and he shook his head.

"So, how long is it going to be?" Arcee asked.

The PA picked up again, "This is the captain. With best speed, it will likely be a cycle until we make port."

"About that long?" Sienia asked, causing Arcee to Tsk.

"So, what do we do now?" Jack asked.

"I have been doing research." Sirenia stated.

"The internet?" Arcee asked.

"The Bible." Sirenia stated, and Jack snapped back to the present.

"What about it?" Arcee asked.

"Master spoke about how the Bible dealt with infertility."

"How did they solve it?" Arcee asked.

"By offering him fertile handmaidens."

"What?" Jack asked, "That can't be right."

"Why not?" Sirenia asked.

"Because polygamy is illegal?" Jack asked.

"That seems to be have been created by the Roman Empire, to prevent conflict between potential heirs.

"Did it work?" Arcee asked.

"The greatest Roman emperors were all adopted." Sirenia stated.

"So, it didn't work?" Arcee asked.

"It seems not." Sirenia stated, "In The Old Testament, polygamy produed a much more stable and success societal structure."

"What?" Jack asked, "It was the Roman Empire."

"The success of the Roman Empire depends entirely upon the emperor. Great emperors achieved territorial expansion, stability, and prosperity. Bad emperors lead to ruin."

"And the good emperors were adopted?" Arcee asked.

"Primarily, yes." Sirenia stated.

"I really don't know how I feel about this." Jack stated. "I certainly never asked you two to..."

"According to the Bible, the handmaidens were given, not asked for."

Jack stared into nothing, lost for thought.

"It's not going to be Sierra." Arcee stated.

"That part you been consistent about." Sirenia stated.

"Don't I get a say in this?" Jack asked.

"What kind of handmaiden did you want?" Arcee asked.

"You don't exactly have any handmaidens you can give me." Jack added

"There are regions of Terra where they can still be purchased." Sirenia stated.

"What?!" Jack asked, "No."

"Understood." Sirenia added.

"Don't want another foundling?" Arcee chided.

"Another Cybertronian wouldn't solve the problem." Jack said, and then paused at the implication of it, "There's not even a problem."

"If you don't want a handmaiden?," Arcee asked, "how about a sexy French maid? That's a thing, right?"

"Very much, so." Sirenia stated.

"I don't want a slut." Jack stated, "I want a woman that wants me."

"Is that why Sirenia finally succeeded?" Arcee asked, and Jack sighed. "Good to know."

"If you add any others, it would probably upset my mother." Jack stated, and with this, the air completely changed. Neither of the femmes wanted to upset June.

"Oh, and the Geneologies in the Bible goes from Adam to your saviour."

"Really?" Jack asked, "That's... I don't know..."

"Who's this saviour?" Arcee asked.

"Jesus. The name was originally Yeshua. Latinized as Iesus. The name is normally Anglicized as Joshua."

"Wait, what?" Jack asked.

"Joshua is the Anglicization of Yeshua." Sirenia said to him, and turned back to Arcee. "The Saviour of Sparks. According to Human Mythology, Humans were originally unfallen. Then sinned against their god, and were cast out. Men were forced to toil the earth, women facing the pain and potential death of childbirth. The saviour was born of God, and died. His sacrifice brought them redemption, and as such earn a place in the afterlife."

"That's, uh?.. yeah." Jack stated.

"The creation is similar to our own, by Primus. The fall could mimic our own, during the Age of Rust. The saviour is a messianic archetype, similar to our own Last Prime. The flood myths are corroborated by every other culture that had writing at the time."

"They're what?" Jack asked.

"They are actually considered historical fact, to the point they are called Megafloods." Sirenia stated.

"What?" Jack asked.

"The most likely scientific explanation is the flooding of large land masses as the glaciers retreated." Sirenia added.

"Wait, glaciers?" Arcee asked.

"Terra has had many Ice Ages. The last of which saw the rise of Mankind."

"The world was covered in ice?" Arcee asked.

"Largely, yes." Sirenia stated.

"Humans can survive in an Ice Age?" a surprised Arcee asked.

"And thrive, apparently." Sirenia stated.

"We are kind of forgetting one thing." Jack said, and the femmes looked at him, "Earth wasn't created by a god, it was created by Unicron."

"Technically, Terra IS Unicron." Sirenia replied.

"And, Jack," Arcee interjected, "Unicron didn't create Humans. He considered them to be parasites."

"Then where did Humans come from?" Jack asked.

"Humans have been unable to recreate abiogenesis." Sirenia stated, "So the two most likely answers are your God or ours."

Jack's eyes grew wide with surprise.

"You think Primus created them?" Arcee asked.

"He does have the demonstrated ability to create life. Even if the life on Terra follows a completely different matrix than that of ours. And from reports, both Optimus Prime and Megatron were both convinced that the two worlds were always made to be linked."

"I really don't know what to think about this." a distant Jack stated.

"Well, I do." Arcee stated, "It would explain why we can interface with Jack so easily. And I can definitely confirm that about Optimus and Megatron. The reason Megatron wanted to Cyberform Terra is that he said to rule only one world is to rule neither."

"It does almost seem like we were made to." Sirenia added.

"Does anyone want to go to the common room?" Jack asked.

"Tsk. That sounds like it means less cuddling." Arcee grumbled.

"It is bad for Humans to remain stationary for too long." Sirenia stated.

"Fine, fine." Arcee stated, and stood up.

The doors opened in the common room, with June nervously seated in a corner. Since these were Cybertronians, there were no seats in sight. "Mom?" Jack asked, and she eagerly stood up.

"Misses Darby?" Sirenia asked.

"June?" Arcee asked.

"I was looking for a quiet place to relax." June stated.

"You forgot that Cybertronians don't have chairs, didn't you?" Jack asked.

"And the ones on this ship are nice enough, but not used to looking where they walk." June simply stated, "I did have a good talk with the captain." she stated.

"About what?" Jack asked.

"I was just exploring." June replied, "But he said we were braver than any warrior by going places we can't, you know, breathe. And the first colonies ships. I mean Titans, apparently just pointed themselves in a direction, and everyone just went into stasis for who knows how many thousands of years. We could never do anything like that."

"You could make one on Caminus." Sirenia stated.

"We could what?" Arcee asked, "I mean, they could what?"

"There's a biosphere?" Jack asked.

"There's life?" June asked, "I mean, Earth-like life?"

"How Earth-like it is is a question." Sirenia stated, "But there are plants and animals. The Caminoans haven't developed anything outside of the city. They wanted to keep the world beautiful. Considering Humans and Cybertronians are connected, along with Terra and Cybertron, it would make sense to found a colony on Caminus. Especially since travel has gotten a lot easier."

"Jack?" Arcee asked, "What do you think?"

"I'm trying not to." Jack stated. "I really don't want to think about it. But..."

"But?" Arcee asked.

"It doesn't hurt to check the air, and water, and plants while we're there. If we can."

"You can leave that to me!" Sirenia eagerly said.

Arcee looked down at June.

"We could put her in the window." Jack said, "No one would step on her." June just glared at her son. "Or you could just come with us?"

"And where are you going to go?" June asked.

"Does it matter?" Arcee replied.

"For a run?" Jack asked.

"Do you know how long it's been since I've gone for a run?" June asked.

"Isn't it good for Humans?" Arcee asked.

"It doesn't hurt you if you don't move around?" June asked.

"We get stiff; that's about it." Arcee replied.

"Assuming we don't rust while we're immobile." Sirenia added.

"Assuming I agree, where should we go?"

"I will contact the bridge." Sirenia stated.

Jack took off his longcoat and overpants, folded them, and handed them to Sirenia. "Ready?" he asked his mother, and she nodded. The two turned to run down the corridor. The captain had sealed it off for them, unless there was an emergency.

PORTRAIT [1] QUANAH PARKER AND THE SACRED PEYOTE [First Part] QUANAH PARKER had grown up on the Southern Plains as the son of a Comanche chief, Peta Nocona, and a white mother, Cynthia Ann, who has been captured as a child from her settler family. When he was fifteen she had been found and forcibly returned to civilisation, where she spent the last ten years of her life begging without success to be returned to her tribe. Though despised for his white blood - Quanah, the name given him by his elders, meant 'bad odour' - he submitted to mockery without complaint and proved himself in battle, becoming a member of the feared Quahada warband. He was barely more than a child when the Plain tribes were finally forced onto the reservations by the Treaty of Medicine Lodge in 1867, but he was among those who refused to submit and become an outlaw. When the campaign to eradicate them escalated into the Red River War, they hid out in the sandstone bluffs and canyons of Palo Duro in far northwest Texas. In 1875, after the ruthless cavalry commander Colonel Ranald Mackenzie shot a thousand of their horses, QUANAH's band finally submitted to forced captivity. [...] QUANAH's authority rested on the delicate balancing act of remaining a trusted broker to the federal government while also defending his people against exploitation and the existential threats to their culture. 'They kept it hid out like the whites do whisky in Kansas', the exasperated new agent Charles Adams wrote in 1891. QUANAH stood his ground, insisting to the agency and to the missionary council that it was both a sacred tradition and a valuable medicine. Picking his battles carefully as always, he relaxed his opposition to Christian schooling but insisted firmly on his right to peyote, as he did with his polygamy. He counted on the government to recognise that persecuting him on either count would be more trouble that it was worth. [...] Like MOONEY, QUANAH recognised that the peyote religion needed to accommodate itself within the Protestant culture that surrounded it. He presented the tipi ceremony not as a rival of the mission school and the prayer meeting but a complement to them. Unlike in tribal Mexico, there was no caste of shamans who cultivated their spiritual power: the roadman who led the ceremony was mere a facilitator, humble in his role and careful to pass the sacred wand, rattle and drum around the circle for every participant to touch. QUANAH resisted Christian conversion to the end but he spoke its language fluently, and he presented peyote as a distinctively Indian expression of the same higher truth: 'the white man goes into his church house and talks ABOUT Jesus, but the Indian goes into his tipi and talks TO Jesus'. My sister and I have been watching “Seeking Sister Wife” on TLC about polygamous families seeking another sister wife. Two families are fundamentalist Mormons, one follows Messianic Judaism (or something similar to it), and I’m not sure about the fourth family but they’re really strange. I can’t wrap my head around the notion of polygamy at all. My sister can’t really either, but she thinks that it’s weird that these families don’t believe in gay marriage but they demand acceptance for their lifestyle. I thought that was an interesting point, especially considering the emergence of polyamorous individuals and relationships within the LGBTQ community.

Anyways, my whole point here was that I think that I watch these shows (I’ve also been into Sister Wives lately) because I’m looking for any connection to my faith, even if it’s a perversion of its practices. It’s a way that I can involve my family, in a way, with my faith, even though that’s not what I personally believe or what the Church teaches. I’m a Latter-day Saint, and if I can’t openly talk about or share my beliefs with my family without ridicule, then following the lives of fundamentalist Mormon polygamous families is weirdly better than not having a place to project my views or see my faith practices in action.

Black Hebrew Israelites and Messianic Jews follow kosher laws because they say that even though Jesus said "its not what goes into your mouth that makes you unclean, but what comes out ot it", Jesus still followed kosher laws, they claim. They say "do you think its ok to eat another human being? Ok well similarly God says its an "abomination" to eat fish without fins and skills, like crabs and lobster. Therefore, it is best not to eat it. You wouldn't eat poison like cyanide would you? Well according to your logic anything is ok to eat so go ahead and eat it. But we eat what God wants us to eat". Interesitngly however, although World Mission Society Church of God follows the laws of the Torah Old Testament, they do eat pork and shellfish because they say that this law was an allegory. They describe that the Bible says to only eat animals with cleft hooves that chew their cud. Cleft hooves they say is metaphorical of being persistant. Animals with cleft hooves climb mountains. Chewing cud they say is metaphroical of continuing to inquire about things. Chewing cud is metaphorical on chewing on ideas. You want to eat animals that chew their cud and have cleft hooves because you want to embibe these qualities. But they say since this law is purely metaphor, you can actually eat animals that don't have cleft hooves and chew their cud like pork and shellfish. A kind of interesting phenomena is Black people more often like to follow kosher laws, and Asians more often do not like to follow kosher laws. Black people tend to be more focused on regulating behavior and Asians not as much. It seems that the cults kind of pick and chose what laws they want to follow. For instance, the Black Hebrew Israelites believe that the Bible is not against polygamy, so some of them have multiple wives, although they hide it from the United States government. They say that when Paul says in 1 Timothy 3 that "A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of bgood behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach", this is not saying that a man can only have one wife but it is saying that he needs to AT LEAST have one wife to be a bishop. They say the reason for this is, if a man cannot control at least one wife, then he can't control a Church. But they say, if a man can control multiple wives, all the better. So they say a bishop can have as many wives as he can afford. Some sephardic Jews, Sephardic Jews are Middle Eastern Jews, do not agree with Ashkenazi Jews, Ashkenazi Jews are European Jews, that they should only have one wife. Ashkenazi Jews made a law that having more than one wife was illegal, because in Europe the Europeans practiced having only one wife, and Ashkenazi Jews were persecuted for having more than one wife. So the Ashkenazis made a law that they should not have more than one wife, and disagree with ashkenazis. But some sephardic Jews still think that having more than one wife is ok. Again, the religious groups kind of pick and chose what they want to follow.”

The Korean official continued speaking to the other Korean official “According to the behavior control B aspect of BITE, a cult "regulates an individuals physical reality." World Mission Society Church of God as well as Shincheonji say that Jesus did this, and thus according to this definition, Jesus was a cult leader and the original Christaintiy was a cult, so if they are a cult, they are not pertrubed by that, because they are following the original Christianity.

Hassan, the creator of the BITE model says that cults "dictate where, how, and with whom the member of the cult lives and associates." Some Christians argue that Jesus associated with sinners, and to follow his example, you would not discriminate who you associate with. However the World Mission Society Church of God points to 2 Corinthians 6:14 where it says "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness". J Witnesses and other cults point to this passage and use it to justify excommunicating non believers from families, known as shunning. Hare Krishna, a Hindu cult, teaches its followers to not associate with non devotees. World Mission Society Church of God say that early Christianity did discriminate on who the members were allowed to associate with. Therefore they say that it is ok for them to also discriminate against people who do not believe that their cult leader Christ Ahnsanhong is the second coming of Christ. (Footnote- my Grandpa is a transpersonal psychologist and he says that the word 'believers' in Corinthians is a mistranslation- and the verse really points more towards not associating with people who are not in the flow or in inquiry. He says that Jesus was a teacher who wanted disciplined inquirers, people who wished to expand their awarness and consciousness, and thus it would be beneficial to participate with others in the same pursuit and not others who are trapped in self indulgence and self preoccupation and laziness settledness idelness complacency)

Another passage in the New Testament that regards calling people to not associate with others is 1 Corinthians when Paul says to the Corinthians "But now I am writing to you ot to associate with ayone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, oor swindler- not even to eat with such a one.

Psalm 1 in the Old Testament says "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel o fhte wicked, nor stands int he way of sinners, nor sits int he seat of scoffers".

In 1 Corinthians 15 Paul says "Bad company ruins god morals"

Proverbs 22 in the Old Testament says "Make no frienship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare".

2 Thessalonians, paul says "If anyone does not obey what we say in this letter, take note of that person, and have nothing to do with him, that he may be ashamed".

Romans 16 says "I appeal t you, borthers, to watch out for those who cause dicsions and create obstacles contrary tot he doctrne that you have been taught; avoid them".

Psalm 26 in the Old Testament says "I do ot sit with men of falsehood, nor do I consort with hypocrites. I hate the assembly of evildoers, and I will not sit with the wicked".

A final example would be when Jesus says "you are either with me or against me". (Footnote- my Grandpa says that this means, you are either in the flow/pure awareness/ inspiration/insight, or you are not. Jesus is not saying 'you have to follow this rule or this rule- because rules are not insight/inspiration/the flow which comes from the divine)

Hassan with the BITE model says cults "control the types of clothing and hairstyles of its members". Many Christians say that Jesus did not care what people weared, and that is not a salvation issue. They say so long as you have faith in Jesus you are saved. Some point to when Jesus said in Matthew 6:31 I tell you ,do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear", as evidence that Jesus did not do this. But World Mission Society Church of God says that the original Christians did control what the clothing and hairstyles the members had. Cults like the J Witness and World Mission Society Church of God say it is important what their members wear. A passage in the Bible where Jesus does command the disciples to wear particular clothing is in Marks gospel "and he called the twelve and began to send them out two by two (in quadrants) and gave them authority over the unclean spirits. he charged them to take nothing for their journey except a staff- no bread, no bag, no money in their belts, but to wear sandals and not put on two tunics."

This could be a metaphor for "not holding onto attachments" by not being held down by too many items. It also could be Jesus telling them to present themselves humbly and not austentatiously. Therefore, Churches like the J Witnesses and World Mission Society Church of God will tell their members to all wear suits and ties, so as to not stand out and thus act humbly, like they say Jesus did.”

The Korean official kept explaining his findings to the other Korean official “The World Mission Society Church of God points to 1 Corithinans 11, to when Paul told people how to dress, as justification for them telling people how to dress. Thus they say the original Christians did tell people how to dress. Paul says "Any man who prays or prophesies with something on his head disgraces his head, but any woman who prays or prophesies with her head unveiled disgraces her head- it is one and the same thing as having her head shaved... for a man ought not to have his head veiled, since he is the image and reflection of God; but woman is the reflection of man".

As a result, The World Mission Society Church of God has its female members cover their heads in Church, and men are not allowed to wear hats or kippas or any head coverings in Church.

Most Christians today regard Paul saying this to the Corinthians as a command he made to the people of that time, but not to modern time. They point out that maybe it was a custom in ancient times for women to cover their hair in that region, and for men not to, so in order to make the Corinthians happy, so that they would be more inclined to accept Christ and Christianity, Paul told the Corinthians to do this.

It is possible that in ancient Corinthia, woman were supposed to be subjugated to men. It was a patriarchal society. So to make the Corinthians happy, and make them more inclined to accept Christianity, Paul appealed to them by telling the women to cover their heads, a sign of submission.

Also in First Corinthians it says "For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head". The sign of authority is the hair covering. The passage is telling the women to cover their hair in Church. An interpretation of this passage is that, the angels represent the fallen angels, including Satan, the morning star Venus. In the Old Testament, the "sons of god" have sex with the "daughters of men", and this brings about the great flood. The sons of god are described as elohim gods, or angels. The fallen angels having sex with the daughters of men can also be seen in pseudopigraphal texts such as 1 Enoch, 2 Enoch, and Jubilees. The offspring of the fallen angels and the women were the Nephilim, or giants. The argument is that the women have to cover their hair in order to not tempt the fallen angels to have sex with them. Or perhaps not tempt other men to have sex with them. Evolutionary biologists say that the reason why women wear their hair long is to demonstrate their health. Long hair is an indicator of health, and men want to mate with healthy women so they can have healthy offspring. The reason why the men want healthy offspring, is so that their offspring in turn will have healthy offspring, and thus their genes will be amplified onto further generations. By telling the women to cover their hair in Church, Paul is perhaps telling them to not try to tempt men into seducing them, by hiding their indicator of health.”

(footnote- a transpersonal metapsychiatry interpetation of "covering the woman's hair because of the angels" that I just thought of might be related to the story of the Garden of Eden. Eve is tempted by Satan, a fallen angel, in the garden of Eden. Satan represents dualistic good v bad, right v wrong, superior inferior, insdier outsider consciousenss/ making things happen consciousness. The Tree of Life/Jesus/the cross is the flow/inspiration. Satan, the fallen angel, wants to bring Eve to the tree of knowledge/making things happen ego consciousness, as opposed to Jesus/the flow/the tree of life/inspiration. Covering the womans hair might serve as a ritualistic reminder to the congregants to transcend ego consciousenss to the flow, and not bite from the tree of knowledge of good and evil like Satan said to do/ not engage in dualsitic ego consciousenss but be in the flow/inspiration)

The Korean official persisted “Men also can demonstrate indicators of health and fitness. The pick up artists have a concept called "peacocking".

The first pick up artist to come up with the term peacocking, says that he thought of it when he was talking to Black "pimps". The pimps described how they wore a lot of fancy jewelry and off the top austentatious clothes. They said they did this because it attracted the women. As pimps, they wanted to turn on their women, so that they could control them. A way they gained attraction to the women was by wearing flamboyant pimp suits and a lot of ice and bling.

On a subconscious level, this turns the woman on and makes her vagina moist. The pick up artists ran with this concept and called it peacocking. A peacock has a lot of feathers. An evolutionary biologist in Israel came up with the idea that the reason the peacock has so many large, flamboyant feathers, is it is a paradoxical self inflicted handicap that indicates fitness to mates. The feathers weigh the peacock down so it cannot even fly. But if a peacock has a ton of very elaborate heavy feathers, and it is still alive, female peacocks think "wow that peacock must be really fit and very strong and have very good genes if he can survive with all those feathers". In the same way, when a female human sees a man with a lot of ice and flamboyant off the top expensive clothing, she thinks, wow that man must have some good genes if he can waist all of his resources on all of that and still be alive." She doesn't think that consciously, but subconsciously, at least according to the pick up artists, this is going on in her mind.”

(Footnote- my Grandpa who is a transpersonal psychologist says that the reason why men and women like gold is because of the qualities that it represents. Gold is like the sun. The sun is pure energy. My Grandpa said that everything is energy. Everything is one flowing energy event. The sun thus points to the flow/ the Truth of existence. Women might like diamonds because they are indestructible. Indestructibility points to transcendence. The flow is indestructible. These valuable items are valuable because they help to remind ones consciousness of the Truth of the flow/oneness/ self transcendence)

The Korean offical kept talking “The same thing occurs with artists. Women like men who are musicians and stuff, and that turns them on, because the woman thinks, "well if that man can spend all that time making that music, and he is still alive, he must have some good genes". This is why women will throw themselves at rock stars and rappers.

(Footnote- my Grandpa tells me that the reason women are attracted to rappers and rock stars and athletes is not because of genetic Darwinism, but because of the antientropic synergistic yielding evolutionary property of existence. My Grandpa says that existence is an evolving entity. Quarks evolve to atoms and atoms evolve to molecules and molecules evolve to cells and cells evolve to organisms and organisms are evolving to what comes after life- the Kingdom of Heaven, that which there is no name for. My Grandpa says that therefore, highly phylogeneticlaly accrude and morphogenetically advanced men will have more offspring, continuing the leverage multiplying advancement and progressing evolution towards the higher synergy yielding energy events ultimately towards the enrichment of the memosphere and noosphere a la Chardin and Aurobindo, finally bringing about the singularity omega point kingdom of heaven. People who are more advanced will mate more and have more offspring not because of genetic Darwinism in this idea, which is an idea of biology, but more through a perspective of physics, because the Universe wants to yield more complex and advanced energy events so that the next higher stage of evolution can be fulfilled and manifested)

In the story of Joseph in the Bible, Joseph is Jacobs favorite son, and Jacob gives Joseph a "multicolored suit". It is like a pimp suit. Josephs brothers get jealous and they throw Joseph into a pit to have him killed. It is possible they got jealous because Joseph maybe attracted the women the most with his multi colored suit, and they wanted to spread their own genes too and have women.

For men, however, wearing long hair is not a sign of health like it is for women. Actually, women are attracted to bald men a lot because being bald is a signal of heaving a lot of testosterone. So, in this interpretation, there is no command for men to cover their hair because men do not attract women by having long hair as much.

My point however, is that according to the World Mission Society Church of God, the orignal Christians did tell people what to wear. So if that makes them a cult, then the original Christians were a cult as well.”

(footnote- my Grandpa who is a transpersonal psychologist says that if covering hair is a ritual it is beneficial. Any ritual is beneficial in that it takes you out of habits, circumstances, and relationships, and thus opens you more to the flow/inspiration. But if you cover your hair to show off, then it is ego motivated. That is why it would only be beneficial if it is done as a ritual. Moreover, my Grandpa said he does not think women still need to cover their hairs. Sure, men with predator prey software might rape a woman with her hair uncovered, but mature people in the flow focused on inquiry and self expansion would not engage in self confirmatory behavior like sex with random women for self indulgence/sense pleasure, confirming the imaginary illusory ego body. If a woman has transpersonal consciousness, she would not go for self indulgence of sex with a man with nice chains. Sense indulgence is a narrowing and restricting of consciousness to the sex organs, as opposed to an expansion of awareness to oneness full spectrum awareness and openness to insight and receptivity)

However, Muhammad did have his wives cover their hair and faces, but it is argued that he had to do this because many men in Arabia were against him and because Muhammad was so powerful, they would want to sleep with his wives and try to usurp his power. Some would say that Muhammad was the classic case of a cult leader who brain washed his followers and took access to the most women, having 19 wives, while telling his followers that they can only have four. But if you look at historical context, Muhammad was actually liberating women for the time and as a concession limited the number to four, because before Muhammad men could have way more wives. Muhammad was actually protecting women from the much larger harems that existed at the time. But ultimately Muhammad according to transpersonal psychologists, wanted people to only have one spouse. Also people say Muhammad had so many wives not for sense gratification, or to show off and have many offspring/genetic Darwinism, but because he wanted to spread Islam, which was a religion that helped people break out of barbaric habbits like burying their daughters alive, which was common in pre Islamic Arabia, and by having many wives Muhammad cemented alliances with other tribes, helping the spread of Islam. So while Hassan may argue that Islam has become a cult in its modern sense, it may not have originally been a cult).

Pt 34-B: The Mexico-LeBarons and Their Messianic Missions”

This blog is a continuance of my previous blog, “Pt 33,” incest in my immediate family tree. That title got a rise out of many people—brought far more visitors to my site than all my other blogs put together! I suspect they were checking to see if I would reveal some of those well-hidden family skeletons. I’m saving that juicy fruit for my in-print Memoir!

It’s said, “When you turn on the light, all the cockroaches scatter.” In“booking my blog,” my intent is to shine a light on roaches that have been covered up for far too long. The Scriptures say, “Know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” I’m reveaing truths many won’t, hoping to bring awareness; minimize lies and lore –– as long as it doesn’t hurt members of my family, friends, and more.

I’m not looking to post scandal to entertain a bunch of Looky-Lue’s and gossip mongers. I know families have their closet skeletons, their whore mongers. And I know plenty of scandal and gossip I haven’t begun to unravel nor reveal … and probably never will … though my blog is a reality show in and of itself, I’m sure. What I’ve already revealed is a room-clearer worthy of a Stephen King Sci-Fi “Unreality” novel!

What bothers me is MOST VISITORs to my blog “Pt 33” didn’t bother to read the blog that preceded IT. SO they missed much of the Stephany-Spencer Reality show and the points I’m trying to put across. Most probably won’t read this nor the rest of my blogs/”Reality Show,” either. Thus, they remain uninformed and misinformed on many a thing! Just go ask Stephen King!

Mom said one of her father Dayer’s favorite quotes was, “He who would learn, let him teach.” And I add: They who would learn, let them read, listen to audiobooks, and go to “The University of” YouTubeoften … and read my blogs!

In that vein, let’s continue where we left off in blog “Pt 34-A” where Mother said, “My father Dayer LeBaron’s Great-grandfather Benjamin F. Johnson visited him after he had died and passed on to him the priesthood “scepter of power” or “the mantle” Joseph Smith passed down to him, BFJ, before he died.

“He told my father he was to do a GREAT work in the world to prepare the way for one of his sons to be “the one mighty and strong” /OM&S who would then prepare a gathering place for the Saints in the last days when ALL the destructions in the United States would take place.”

Does that sound like a bunch of bunk or what?! And why did Grandpa pass the buck? Did he think one of his sons would have more luck; do better than he the job of being the OM&S—be better able to “prepare a gathering place”? IF he HAD the special “priesthood mantle; i.e., was the OM&S,” why did he do so LITTLE with it? Gramp did nothing out of the ordinary any pa might have done when it came to “raising a OM&S son” (LOL!) … and providing for a humongous family.

Inquiring minds want to know! Many people have left the LeBaron groups for lack of “By their fruits ye shall know them.” In Other words, the “fruits” they saw convinced them this “gathering place” could not be the work of God! Still, many more descendents and converts to the various present-day Mexico-LeBaron cults continue to abide by and pass on the family lore with wide eyes, closed minds, and little more!!

They are helped along with all the stories in “THE LEBARON STORY” and “MAUD’S STORY,” LeBaron books chronicled and published purposely to misslead so as to keep or convert new members and progeny to Joel’s “Church of the Firstborn” which really was Joel’s and Ervil’s “Church;” and mainly Ervil’s brainchild–along with a rich sprinkle of their gifted brother Wesley’s dogma that was also part of the early pennings of “Joel’s” “Church of the Firstborn.”
