im not even gonna lie ive been basing 1x's personality off of his betrayed skin's bc those voicelines are the only hints i get at knowing how this dude acts so the only difference is that she's got hair 💔💔

"y0u just c4n't g3t 3n0ugh 0f m3~" 1x1x1x1 boldly claims as you run your fingers through their luscious white hair, watching the strands seamlessly part as you comb through.

you roll your eyes, "ever the narcissist, aren't you? in any case, it's your hair i'm obsessed with, not you. just how do you get it to be so smooth...?" taking a small lock in your hand, you observe it in awe. seriously, no knots or tangles? they could star in a pantene commercial if he didn't look so damn scary.

a devious snicker escapes from them, and you're already mentally preparing yourself to hear what she has to say next.

"1 w4sh w1th th3 b100d 0f my v1ct1ms- AUGH!" with the piece of hair that's already in your hand, you firmly pull it as a way to scold them.

"ew! whatever, edgelord."

1x1x1x1 turns back to look at you when they feel you withdraw your hands to dig in your bag, perturbed by the loss of contact. the chains that sit around their body clink from the movement. "1 d0n't r3m3mb3r s4y1ng y0u c0u1d st0p."

"oh, be patient! i only stopped so i could get these." after scolding her gently, you emerge from your bag, revealing a brush, some hairties, and a few cutesy clips. the face 1x1x1x1 makes at the objects could be described as something akin to disgust yet intrigue. she slightly backs away, letting out a hiss, "y0u w4nt t0 d3c0r4t3 m3 l1ke 1'm s0m3 k1nd 0f p3t? hhhh.. 1 w0n't 4110w 1t."

you step forward, closing the distance he attempted to create. "don't be dramatic, it's only a few accessories! you have all that nice hair, you ought do something fun with it every now and then." the being of hatred starts to retort, but completely gives up when you begin brushing, losing himself in the pleasant feeling. you swear you can hear them faintly purring.

after a bit of brushing out, you split the back of their hair down the middle, sectioning it into two. then, collecting all of the hair on one side, you pull it into a hairtie and start tying a pigtail. the same goes for the other side. finally, to top it all off, you fasten some clips on their bangs. 1x1x1x1 suspects something is up when she hears you giggling, and confronts you when you've finished. "1 d0n't 3v3n w4nt t0 kn0w wh4t y0u'v3 d0n3 w1th m3."

"aww, c'mon, you don't, heh, you don't wanna see what you look like? not even a liiiittle?" teasingly, you hold your handmirror out to her and invite her to take a look as you struggle to stifle your laughter. if 1x1x1x1 could destroy objects with his glare, that mirror would've shattered in your hands. they growl as they snatch it from you, hesitantly lifting it to behold themself in the glass.

safe to say, he absolutely hates it. the cutesy pastel clips with bows and small animals appear alien alongside 1x1x1x1's harsh and saturated color palette, and don't even get her started on the dumb pigtails. "..th1s 1s 4WFUL! 1 l00k utt3r1y stup1d—hurry 4nd t4ke 1t 0ff!" in a fit of embarrassment, she violently shuts the mirror with a loud clap, and hurls it at you. you're barely able to catch it through your laughter.

"but—snrk—but 1x, you look so cute! keep them on, pleaaseeee?"

"4bs0lut41y n0t. th3s3 4r3 c0m1ng 0ff." one by one, 1x1x1x1 yanks the clips out of his hair and discards them onto the ground. before they can take out the pigtails, you stop them by gently grabbing her wrist.

"at least keep the pigtails in... think about it like the ponytail you always have, just on both sides of your head." he narrows their sharp red eyes, elf ears twitching in annoyance as you attempt to convince them to keep any evidence of your mini makeover.

after a long and gravelly exhale from him, he resigns, "f1n3. but d0n't th1nk y0u'll g3t 4w4y w1th th1s.. 1'll g3t b4ck 4t y0u!"

when the next round rolls around, 1x1x1x1 targets you heavily, stopping at nothing to ensure you lose. despite the other survivors' valiant efforts to protect you, she gets you. but damn, you'd be lying if you said it wasn't worth it seeing 1x1x1x1 in cutesy pigtails, even if they were enraged and chasing you.

(parade postscript: i think i'll have 1x1x1x1 talk with leetspeak bc i see a lot of ppl make him do that so why not teehee im afraid itll make her rlly similar to griefer but i think i can write them to be different enough......)

"WHAT IF, CRAZY idea, I know, we made you uglier?"

You stopped in your tracks, turning to Jake with frowned brows and a small laugh of disbelief leaving your lips not following what he meant. You were amidst sorting through the rack of clothes, attempting to find an outfit for the quarter yearly dinner party Jay dragged you along to with his parents.

"What?"

Jake huffed, an obvious pout on his lips before he glanced behind you momentarily. The adorable puppy eyed look was replaced by one of visible annoyance, him taking an extra measure to step closer to you with a nod of his head. "Everybody wants to steal my girl,"

You followed his gaze, meeting eyes with an older man causing you to grimace seeing as he barely pulled his stare away after maintaining eye contact. Subconsciously shifting closer to Jake's side, you cleared your throat before registering his words. "Okay, One Direction,"

"Serious," Jake spoke with a pout. His hand traveled to your waist, leaned comfortably against your hip while his bottom lip was tucked between his teeth as he glanced up and down at your figure in a not-so inconspicuous way, eyes zeroing in on your cleavage causing you to snicker. "You're too sexy for me,"

"You're just horny," You huff, continuing to glance through the isles of clothing, stopping at a silky gold maxi dress, one that had a deep plunge and you were already picturing the accessories to go along with it. "And full of shit," You add quietly, checking the price tag as your eyes widened significantly, seeing the large sum entirely out of your budget. With once last glance over the beauty of a dress, you attempt to move along in your search before Jake suddenly stops you.

"Try it on," he says. "You like it, try it on,"

You sent him a bored look. "400 dollars on a single dress is not worth my money," You tut, entirely confused by the placing of the dress considering the area of the store you stood in considered of the discounted designer brands that you typically shopped for under $200. Jay always split the bill with you, if not paying for it himself considering you were always searching for new outfits due to him, but you still couldn't bring yourself to buy something expensive only to wear it once or twice.

"So use mine," Jake spoke carelessly, shrugging his shoulders as if the solution was the most simple thought. You tilted your head, brows pinched not following what he meant. "I'll buy you whatever your pretty heart desires, try it on,"

"Jake—"

"Don't argue with me," He shushes, quick to pick up the dress and sling it over his arm. Glancing around the rack, he takes a second before pulling off a second, this one significantly shorter with a large portion of the back cut out, the black dress small and sure to emphasize each of your curves like a second skin. "You want to try anything else?"

You raised a brow, reluctant to follow him toward the dressing room. "Didn't you say you wanted to make me uglier?"

"Wouldn't work even if I tried,"

"OKAY...." SLIDING OPEN the thick velvet curtain that kept the dressing room private, you step out with a small scrunch of your nose. "I don't think this is right?" You mumble, pointing toward the drooping neckline and far too high slit in the mini dress you wore.

Jake hums, tilting his head from the complimentary couch for guests to wait, his legs spread wide, an arm draped over the back of the armrest. "As sexy as you are," His eyes trailed up and down your figure, focused particularly on your thighs due to the short material leaving little to the imagination. "I still think the gold is the one,"

"It's expensive," You whine, glancing over to the admittedly best fitting bunch of the group. It complimented your skin nicely, snatched in at the waist providing a nice hourglass illusion while your tits and ass fit snug against the material but still respectable for the dinner you’d attend.

Jake sent you a pointed look, one that looking at him now, the way he seemed to fit so perfectly in the high end clothing store, you realized how the hefty price to you was an insignificant fund for him. You had no idea which genre of rich boys you surrounded yourself with, but you always forgot just how much money they truly had. You quite literally saw him and Jay fight over a bag of chips the other day since neither wanted to pay extra for more.

"Try it on again," Was all that he said, shifting in his spot while you let out a long sigh. Following his directions, you pulled the curtain closed and began to undress. You were halfway stripped, your upper half entirely nude as you heard the familiar scraping of the melt hooks against the rod that hung up the only sense of privacy you received in the fairly sized room.

Your eyes widened noting that Jake was pushing his way inside, lax as he shut the curtain behind him. "What're you doing?!" You whisper-yell, ears alert waiting for the woman who was merely down the hall, monitoring the dressing room section, to come over and kick him out. Working odd jobs for the last few years, you had your fair share of retail experience, the main thing you remember dreading was having couples enter a room together and to have to kick them out upon their lewd actions.

"I want to see," There was a small smirk that played at the corners of his lips, quirking a brow at the pale look you gave him. He rolled his eyes, a hand lightly finding its way to your hip as he gently spun you around. "It's nothing I haven't seen before, don't be shy now baby,"

Unable to find your words, you felt your breath hitch upon his cold fingertips grazing along the zipper, pulling it down and dancing along your exposed skin as it reached your lower back. The material of the dress fell from your body, barely hanging on by the slip of your hips. In the large vanity mirror, your eyes never tore away from Jake's hands that trailed along your skin.

The ghost brushes over your bare frame inched up slowly to the mounds of your breast, slightly tugging away the awfully unflattering dress you previously wore. He leaned closer, his lips placing small pecks to your neck, barely grazing the crook but the slightest touch sent your body aflame. You couldn't quite pinpoint why you reacted the way you did with Jake, becoming mere puddy in his hands without much effort, your mind knowing better but you never failed to react to his presence which suffocated your better judgement.

He pulled away just as quick though, nearly causing you to stumble as you unknowingly had begun to lean into his chest. Jake let out a small chuckle, hands gripping your bare hips with a slight squeeze to the softness of your skin as you stood bare in front of him. He peered down at you through the mirror, the mischievous look in his eyes causing the small pit in your stomach to grow.

He crouched down, carefully aiding you step out of the rather expensive fabric. You shuddered, arms covering up as much as you could, turned away from him feeling suddenly shy. He smiled through half lidded eyes, glancing over the black lace panties that hugged your hips and his hand that danced up your thigh burning with each soft touch.

He guided one of your legs over his shoulder, a hand steadying you while the other gently pulled the thin fabric away from your core. His eyes gleamed, taking note of the obvious arousal you displayed and your back arched in anticipation.

Jake glanced up, breath fanning against your skin looking ever so beautiful with the stray strands of hair that fell over his forehead and eager look he held. "Keep quiet f'me, yeah, pretty?"

"SAY CHEESE," YOU remind, a pearly white smile plastered over your features. Jay tsked, jumping as you pinched his side and taking all of his self composure to bring you under his arm in a hug rather than shove you into the passing waiter that held onto a flight of champagne glasses.

"Piss off," His words were vulgar yet spoken in a sing-song. You let out an entirely fake giggle, leaning into his chest as if he were the grandest comedian there was. "Stop it, you're making it weird," Jay whispered, having to refrain from a grimace while you snickered. Opting to instead lace your arms together, you allow him to guide you through the hall, sharing smiles and nods as pleasantries to the people you two passed having no idea who any of them were.

"You're the one who said we had to look extra poised and posh today," You tut.

Jay glanced down to you, a pointed look sent your way though a smile played at the corners of his lips. "Yeah considering you showed up today in a $400 dress and a brand new Prada bag from your sugar daddy, we might as well put good use to it and get brownie points from Gran,"

"Shouldn't you be happy your dearest friend has gotten herself a hot and rich boy who does everything she says and more?" You teased, entire kidding which Jay knew well enough. He had to be the one to convince you to bring the bag out of the car in the first place, previously feeling bad for even taking it out of the fancy box it came in but you would've felt worse if you lied to Jake knowing he spent so much money on something completely out of your realm but thought long and hard picking out for you.

Sure, you had a few Coach bags and wallets from throughout the years, but that was as far as it went for name brands in your book. You never considered yourself to be materialistic, nor did you see the value in spending thousands of dollars on a bag you wouldn't trust yourself to use regularly yet Prada boy himself thought it was a perfect compliment to the dress he gifted you as well.

"Oh my dearest ___, you have no idea what you're getting yourself into," Jay hums causing your brows to frown. "I think you'd have a heart attack if he were actually your sugar daddy boy toy like that, Jake would buy the world if you asked,"

Your eyes widened a fraction, surprised by the sudden shift which was previously filled with joking posh accents. "What?"

Jay let out a laugh, still guiding the way through the numerous people that filled the room before stopping at a table toward the far left side of the room. He helped you into your seat, taking note of the intricate placeholder which had your name printed in the middle. "Wait, do you actually not know?"

"Know what?" You questioned, engrossed by the delicate design of the card stock in your hands before placing it down once Jay settled in beside you.

"You know how you think my family is rich?" He began.

You shot him a look, "'Cause you are," you tut. Gesturing to the extravagant hall the two of you were sitting in, along with the other groups of equally leveled people that surrounded, you didn't see what his point was.

"I mean yeah, but think of your idea of rich and then multiply it by 10. That's the level that his family is on," Jay shrugged absentmindedly but noticed the still evident confusion that lingered in your eyes. "You know that movie, Crazy Rich Asians?" You nod. "That's him, the crazy rich asian family,"

"Dude, you're a crazy rich asian family," You emphasize, not quite getting the point of his statement while Jay rolls his eyes in the comfort of your space now without as many peering eyes.

"I mean yeah, but there's levels to it," He huffs. Grabbing hold of the napkin that was previously folded up nicely on his plate, Jay was quick to pull a pen from the inner pocket of his blazer seemingly out of thin air. On said napkin he drew a three tier pyramid. "My family is here," He says, scribbling in the Park last name in the middle tier. "Probably like in the 12 to 15 range if we're ranking the best companies,"

Your eyes widened at his guess. "You're joking,"

Jay shook his head. The pen circles around the top tier, "the Sim family is here, they're third in line. Bianca's family is at the top right now and they've been for the past year. That's why the whole relationship between them is wanted but Jake doesn't care and she's crazy,"

"I thought this was a regular type of rich people business but you're telling me they're at the top of the list now?"

"You quite literally could've looked this up at any point," Jay snorts. "Point is, you should be thanking me actually. I've been prepping you all your life to make a good impression on the big three if you're ever forced to meet them,"

"I feel like it doesn't matter that much considering Bianca acts like a kid and no one does anything," You huff but nonetheless subconsciously adjust the straps of your dress.

"Well yeah, she's the business princess. You can get away with anything when you have the daddy's money she has," He teased. "You, my dear friend, are a peasant to these noble folk. They'll eat you alive for any mistake you make, especially since you picked the biggest bachelor every family wants. Jake's the only available son out of the big three families,"

You purse your lips, "No pressure or anything then,"Jay paused, noting your shift in mood with a small sigh. He patted your hand, a minimal form of reassurance as he sent you a knowing look. "Don't overthink it, you know Jake. He's not that type and he wouldn't let you drown in those circumstances. Besides, I have taught you well. Have more faith in yourself doll,"

ooh great question! thank you for the ask, anon, this was fun to think about! :)

i'll split this into mission bags and pockets. as much as i want to forcefem satoru into carrying an actual purse, i don't think he would.

satoru

pockets: chapstick (strawberry), wallet with cash (unsorted) and several old receipts, hard candy, candy wrappers (folded in half until they're too thick to fold), phone with no case

mission bag: phone charger, change of clothes, book (maybe 2 if overnight), 3-in-1 soap, medical kit (obligatory), snacks (protein bars, sweets), wired earbuds (wrapped/tied), mini toothbrush/toothpaste in case of overnight, mini sewing kit

suguru

pockets: lanyard with several keys and a multitool/pocketknife, wallet with cash sorted by value, lighter + cigarettes, phone with a simple black protective case, wired earbuds (tangled), extra hair ties (on wrist)

mission bag: phone charger, change of clothes, physical maps, 1-2 cursed tools (weapons), medical kit (well-maintained), hand lotion, flashlight, mini toothbrush/toothpaste in case of overnight, mini hairbrush, emergency blanket, disposable water bottle, survival knife

fiym characterization here -

satoru doesn't need a whole lot, even on missions. and he's not even really concerned with his own survival. most of what he packs is to overcome the convenience of being away from home for a weekend, not for possibly getting hurt. i also think he doesn't have a lot of personalization in his gear/accessories, hence not even having a phone case. i love all the art of satoru with cute cinnamoroll stuff etc, but fiym satoru is extremely sterile.

suguru, on the other hand, is a lot more prepared for random environmental obstacles. by third year, his cursed spirits could probably get him out of almost any situation; he wouldn't really need all of his survival tools. but because of his years on the street pre-jujutsu, i think he would default to preparing for a situation where he didn't have access to sorcery.

vacant souls: dream & nightmare

DISCLAIMER: i know next to nothing about dreamtale. VS!dream and VS!nightmare are not literally dreamtale, some elements are taken and used as inspiration, but the VS designs are not dream and nightmare, they're their own characters from their own timeline

basic idea: sans gets split into two monsters by gaster experimentation, leading to various shit hitting several fans. gaster peaces tf out

ONEIRIC

When Sans was split, his happiness and hope was made into Saccharine. The underground beheld Saccharine as the one who brought light.

When Saccharine saw how the underground treated his counterpart, he was afraid. He couldn't imagine falling into the disapproval of the public.

Keep the public happy, keep the public in your favor, and you stay in power.

Stay in power and you survive.

His foremost concern was staying in power.

Using his magic, he gave happiness to everyone. Existing in perpetual happiness, nobody wanted to oppose him and everyone loved him.

It was a self-fulfilling cycle. The happiness fueled the public's approval. The public's approval fueled his magic. His magic fueled the happiness.

Saccharine became stronger. He gained more control over people's minds. He became Oneiric.

Oneiric is meant to serve as a secondary antagonist in the story of Vacant Souls. His SOUL has been overloaded by the artificial HOPE of the entire underground and it burst and formed into a mini sun.

Oneiric's number one fear is people hating him. He keeps people under his spell to keep them subdued. Those under Oneiric's spell have a glowing halo over their head.

Some are specially chosen to do Oneiric's bidding. These halos are especially bright and come with wings made of light behind the subject's head.

Oneiric's Saccharine Halo can only be cast over someone that already trusts him. He will often create visions of happiness to win someone over, but as long as someone's resolve doesn't waver they cannot be brought under the spell.

Oneiric has done things he is not proud of in order to maintain his hold.

Visually, Oneiric has bright yellow eyelights shaped like four pointed stars. He had a crown before becoming Oneiric, but it transformed into a halo. He has rings of light around his arms and massive wings made of light. His clothing is primarily white, yellow, and gold, with lots of gold accessories. He wears essentially a toga. I have a very specific idea in mind but i can't really put it on the page SOBS. i do know i want his sun-soul to be visible

EMNITY

When Sans was split, his pessimism and despair was made into Bitter. The underground beheld Bitter as the one who brought darkness.

Bitter was hated. He was a being of despair that spread it with a touch. He was taught he was the lesser half. The only reason he existed is so that Saccharine could finally be free of him.

Bitter fell into isolation. The only place for him in the underground was the ruins.

Then, a human fell. A human who showed Bitter kindness for the first time. Bitter appreciated the gestures of the human, but knew the human would be better off with Saccharine's widespread positivity, and so he sent the human out to the rest of the underground.

The human didn't see happiness though, the human saw zombies. Monsters without control over their own lives, slaves to the spell promising them happiness.

Instead of offering kindness, like the human did to Bitter, the human showed anger. The human antagonized the enchanted monsters, which shocked them out of the spell.

The human returned to Bitter and told him how the underground needs him. Darkness can't exist without light, joy cannot exist without sorrow.

Oneiric saw a threat. Which Oneiric swiftly disposed of.

Bitter witnessed what his other half had become. As he held the dying human in his arms, his despair turned to hatred. With their last breath, the human gave their PERSEVERING SOUL to Bitter, and he became Emnity.

Emnity is the perfect opposite to Oneiric. He uses his Bitter Shadow spell to shake Oneiric's hold. Emnity no longer cares about being hated, as everyone's distaste of him merely fuels his hatred of Oneiric.

Emnity possesses a blackened monster SOUL made of HATRED as well as the human's SOUL made of PERSEVERANCE. His hatred keeps him immune to Oneiric's magic.

Underneath his fury, Emnity wants Saccharine back. More than anything, he wants to be one with his counterpart again.

Visually, Emnity is very purple. He still wears the crown given to him at split, though it has turned from gold to black. He has a purple robe and black pants. The robe has two silver-purple moons on either side facing away from each other and exposes his ribcage and his two souls. His purple eyelights are shaped like Oneiric's but are tilted to look like X's.

Both of them have a different design before their "breaking point," aka before they became Oneiric and Emnity and were Saccharine and Bitter.

instead of apple imagery, they have grape imagery. im not sure how im going to incorporate that bit, prolly in gaster's experimentation.

i am fine with people shipping Oneiric and Emnity! they aren't siblings and i have a lot planned for their story.

I have had to unfortunately deface (hot glue the chains together) the white rainbow dragon I got from you because it kept breaking and giving me mini-panic attacks every time I noticed that it fell… sorry about that. 😅

That pin in particular seems rather breakable, though. How’s the testing you said you were doing going?

In terms of what you're describing, which is the jump ring (the single metal loop that connects the acrylic charm to the chain), coming loose when a keychain is pulled or yanked, glue or tape will not work. Hot glue will not work either.

Jump rings failing is one of the most common problems people encounter when they wear a certain accessory on the daily. It's typically a result of everyday wear and tear, and it is easy to fix.

The easiest type of repair that will work, if you don't want to repair or replace the jump ring (link: video tutorial for opening jump rings), is removing the jump ring entirely and replacing it with a small split ring, which are harder to open, but more durable. You can watch a video of it here, in order to to learn how to do the repair yourself.

If you're not sure of the difference between the two, here's another video comparing the different types of connector rings and how to open them.

After you've taken the jump ring off the charm and attached the new split ring, you can reattach the old chain or use a new chain/clasp if you want, and the keychain should be much more durable than before.

(Note: don't use a split ring instead of a jump ring when it comes to actual jewelry, but it's fine for an acrylic charm.)

How To Dress Like A Shoujo Girl

since spring is here i thought i’d do a little guide on outfit inspo for shoujo girl spring. this may be a little long and i plan on (if this does ok) making this a series on my blog 🫶🏻

this post will be split into sections based on top half, bottom half, dresses and accessories, i hope you enjoy!

Top Half

in terms of tops you want to look for items that have a lot of frill, floral and lace details. Blouses, vests and camis are a must, as these items have a romantic feel to them. Cardigans and knitwear are also a good add on for layering as they have a warm and cozy feeling to them while being both cute and practical. Tops with collar details are also a good idea as they recreate the preppiness of many shoujos.

Here are a couple pieces i think really fit the vibe.

Bottom Half

On your bottom half i would recommend mostly wearing skirts, but i will be giving options for jeans and shorts. Layered/ruffled skirts should become a key item of your outfit, whether that is maxi or mini and once again stick with floral patterns, lace or frills. If you want to wear shorts or jeans i would recommend going for something with details on them, either ruffled shorts or jeans with embellishments. A dress/long top layered over the jeans would be very adorable too!!

For dresses i will keep this part pretty short as a lot of the details are things I've brought up already. In terms of dress style i would recommend a lot of cutesy sundresses, babydoll dresses and maxi dresses, as long as its cute and flowy it will work.

Accessories

For accessories you can add as many or as little as you feel. I think the things you see most are bows, pearls and flowers but anything cutesy works. Bags are also a key thing with most shoujo girls either having a mini backpack or a small handbag, once again though whatever you feel works best for you. Leg warmers are also something i would recommend, as they are a simple way of elevating any outfit to become more cutesy.
