This is the first time I've drawn Aleksi, and I'll definitely be tweaking his design in the future. He's somewhere in his 60s here.

I thought I’d give a bit of into about some of my original characters so y’all have at least a vague idea of who they are.

Lev (he/him) is a middle aged Russian trans man, who is also asexual and achillean/mlm. He has natural magic and is quite powerful. He was born in the USSR and originally served in the Soviet military and was a valuable asset to them, but he defected and ran away. During his escape, he got caught in a storm and went missing. He was believed to be dead for a few decades, until the 2010s, when he was discovered in a sort of frozen state and then unfrozen by other magic users. He was found in the magical dimension/realm rather than the regular one.

In present day, he lives in the magical dimension. He strongly opposes the current Russian government, who are unhappy about it, especially considering that they want him back to serve in their military as a weapon.

Sasha (he/him; possibly other pronouns) is a Russian in his early 20s, who also has ADHD. His bigoted family kicked him out of home after finding out he was queer, but luckily, he received help and was given a place to stay in the magical dimension, where he still lives to this day. At one point he lost his entire left arm, with it now being replaced by an advanced prosthetic.

Marco Gromov (he/him) is a Russian Argentinian in his late 20s, who is both autistic and has ADHD. His name is technically Marcos, but he has largely dropped the S at the end. His main special interests are technology and clean/renewable energy, and he’s strongly committed to fighting climate change. He’s also bi and dating Luz.

Luz “Lulu” de Luna (they/she) is a transfem non-binary Afro-Dominican in their late 20s, who is also autistic. They have natural magic powers, and they are a sorcerer*, which are a powerful type of magic user. They’re also a pretty good artist, drawing both traditionally and digitally. They’re pan and, as mentioned earlier, dating Marco.

(*Sorcerer is the current name for this type of magic users, but I’m considering changing it)

Melissa “Missy” Ito (they/them) is a Japanese American in their late 20s. They are Afro-Asian/Blasian, and they are also intersex. They’re a journalist working for a reputable small to mid size left-leaning outlet, and they are also a good photographer. They have interviewed both Lev and Marco before.

Ariel Fisher (he/they; may change later) is a genderfluid Jewish Canadian in their early 20s. They’re also aromantic. They’re a small to mid size streamer, mainly streaming video games.

Andreas Marinos (he/him) is a gay Greek man in his early 30s. He can transform into a mermaid, and he has water powers (hydrokinesis), as well as magical singing. He has a passion for theater and is himself an actor/performer.

I am going to give you all the belated Christmas gift of the angsty musings of teenage Misha. I wrote this 22 years ago and I have zero idea what inspired it lol.

Who am I? Sometimes I don't know. I'm a face in the mirror, A name said by others. The face and the name are strangers, Unfamiliar and unknown to me.

I feel lost, All alone. It's like I'm in a stranger's body, Living someone else's life. I know that I know those around me, But it seems as if that was a long time ago and I've since forgotten.

Everything's hazy now, Nothing's for sure. Not even me, I'm the biggest mystery of all. Who I am, I really don't know.

I know the name that everyone says is mine, The face that greets me when I look into the mirror. But the rest is a mystery, It's like a puzzle that's missing a piece.

That piece is me, My soul. I have a face and a body, But inside it's empty. Everything is hollow, There's no depth to be found.

I know who I'm supposed to be, But who am I really? My question may never be answered, I may never know. The emptiness may never go away, I might be like this forever.

One question may always race through my head, Who am I?

2015 Fall Fair Suite knew what it was doing omg

I think I like this one better than 2016 Fall Fair Suite??

Ocean was the one to say that they were the only choir in competition when they got second place the year before, which I actually think makes more sense than Karnak saying it cuz then it feels like Ocean responds to Karnak which she isn’t supposed to do cuz it’s before the accident, idk

And Misha beatboxing in the middle of the song lmaoo I can kinda see that they probably had to make him more uninterested and that’s why he doesn’t beatbox in later openings (also cuz it doesn’t really fit in) but I like to imagine that either he was bored and started beatboxing even though he wasn’t supposed to

or they got second second place the previous year partially cuz he wasn’t participating so they had to see what to do to make him participate and they agreed to let him beatbox just so he’d agree to actually do something that’s not sitting on his phone

And then the minor turn instrumentals sounds like Tragic Fact I love it sm

I LOVE the dead halt when they say the first “how can this be fair” too UGHH

Then the verse where they talk about the fair and getting on the Cyclone and realizing they’re about to die!!!

“MY LIFE IS FALLING OFF THE TRACK I KNOW I’LL NEVER GET IT BACK” AAHH 10/10 no comment

And then the rest is almost the same as 2016 Fall Fair Suite

But Ocean sounds more regretful when she sings during the “round and round” bit cuz in 2016 it’s “Had a strange feeling from the start, got our tickets, stood in line, a rickety cart, I did not feel safe at all” which kinda sounds like she’s just saying “I knew it wouldn’t end well, this is why you trust your instincts”

But in the 2015 version she says “life was about to start, why did I get into that rickety cart? It did not feel safe at all” which sounds like she’s upset with herself for making the decision to ride the Cyclone

And then Noel is the one who wanted to wipe his browser history clean instead of Constance, I think that checks out, I can see him searching up some sketchy stuff lol

So I was wondering, what other HSR characters are you considering doing yandere profiles for? I think Phainon would fit really well but I think it’d also be interesting to see what you come up with for Dan Heng if you planning on doing him.

I'm planning to eventually write a profile for all of the men in HSR! That's excluding my blacklist (Misha, Yanqing, Archer), of course, but other than that, at least as long as I have fuel for it, I'm gonna get around to them.

I have my personal favourites among the remaining characters, so I'm more inclined to get those out first. The list is, in no particular order, Blade (I currently have the most ideas for him), Ratio, Anaxa, Dan and Phainon so those are the ones that can be expected next. Then there's Reca's stupid ass, but I'm a bit scared to make a profile for him in case Hoyo decides to let him out of the NPC jail and then my interpretation is wrong 💀. Doesn't change the fact that I'm lowkey a hoe for him, but I'll have to see if and when I'll start working on him as well.

I also got the most asks for Phainon specifically, so I think I'm gonna do him quite soon. His ass is gonna drop in like two weeks so I can finally get to him. Then I got asked for Blade, Argenti, Luocha and Anaxa too, so stay tuned for those (٩>ᴗ<)و

Oh, and I've been thinking if I should write a Sunday profile part 2 (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵) Since he got a whole new outfit and had the breakdown TM, I thought that I could do a separate profile for the Astral Express Sunny. He's kinda one of my main hoes so I'm going hmmmmm...

Funny story, instead of the Jing Yuan profile I dropped today, I was originally supposed to do Argenti. I started writing for him but then my friend send me a Jing Yuan edit like an hour in, and I went like omg hi sirrrr *twirls hair*. I had this most intricate and beautifully written ask for an Argenti profile in my inbox that I started writing for, but then I got an ask right after that literally just said "jing yuan next pls" and I was like ah ok girl bet. I'm a weak woman ദ്ദി( ;´ - `;)

Then again, I'm thinking of writing some shorter form content in between the profiles. I'd like to write like headcanon type of stuff that has multiple characters per post, so the time in between my posts wouldn't be so damn long. So, if there's anything you'd like to see, do send me an ask!

Buckle up, we're overanalysing Mischa's name

Firstly, it just cannot be his legal name on the documents. Mischa is always short for Mykhailo (equivalent to English Michael). Secondly, Bachinski is actually the Russian spelling of his surname, and, well, there was little chance of the writers using the correct form back in 2008. Ukrainian spelling is Bachynskyi! Thirdly, in Ukrainan and some other Slavic languages every person is supposed to have their father's name attached to their name. For example, if your father is Taras, and you are Andriy, than you would be Andriy Tarasovych. We do not know Mischa's dad's name, so for the sake of this exploration I'm just gonna go with Mykola (I just like this name and it is popular enough). That turns Mischa Bachinski into Mykhailo Bachynskyi Mykolayovych (Михайло Бачинський Миколайович)

+ I'm not sure, but Misha probably is a more accurate transcription of Міша than Mischa (update: i am now sure. Misha is objectively correct)

Now onto the etymology (sorta). The name Michael was gender-neutral with Hebrew origin (vaguely meaning "who is like God" or "gift from God", the second version is less accurate but I like it cause it plays well into my headcanon of Mischa being a miracle baby since it was unlikely for his mother to have a normal pregnancy after the radiation exposure). Odesa is a city with a lot of Jewish population so yeah. And also Michael is the name of an archangel in the Bible.

But as for Mykhailo specifically, a random Ukrainian article says:

Little Misha is an inquisitive and good-natured boy. He is very independent and likes to have his own responsibilities around the house. If Misha gets into good company, then there is no need to worry about him. Mykhailo is unsure of himself, so his parents need to encourage him more often. I only picked out the at least somehow interesting stuff, cause the article is long and you can read it yourself with the help of Google translator if you'd like. Also it has a section of female names the owner of the name is likely to get along well with, and it has no mention of Natalia (Talia), but Tamara was first on the list🥹

In Russian language Mischa is a way to say bear. In Ukrainian language Myscha is a way to say mouse. This is lowkey symbolic and I should use it in a fanfic at some point. Imagine Mischa telling everyone his name means bear and technically not lying, but in his mother tongue it actually is a tiny little animal. One of my headcanons is that his mother called him myshko (the way to say "little mouse" when reffering to someone directly. The subjective form is myshka, an even more affectionate/сute version is myshenya, myshenyatko)

Literally every noun in Ukrainian language has A TON of affectionate/сute versions, here are just some of such forms for Mischa: Mykhaylyk, Mykhaylychok, Mykhaylonko, Mykhaylochko, Mykhalyk, Mykhas, Mykhasyk, Mykhasko, Mykhasyo, Myshko, Mischenka. This isn't even a half, but some are quite impossible to translate. My fav versions are Mykhaylyk, Mykhasyk and Mykhalyk, they are also the most popular but basically all of them can be used if you wanna call him affectionately hehe

The universe these characters are in consists of our regular world and a magical realm, with travel between the two being possible, increasingly so in recent times. Some people and descendants of people originally from the regular world live in the magical realm, enough to populate at least one city.

(Here's some info about various characters)

Yevgeny "Zhenya" Tsaritsyn (he/him, she/her, it/its): early 20s, Russian, ambiamorous pan aegosexual, demiboy. ADHD.

He comes from a religious conservative family, and as a teen, he was kicked out of home when his parents found out he was queer and an atheist. Through pure luck, Lev happened to come across him and brought him to the magical realm and helped him get a place to stay, where he still lives to this day. Meanwhile, Lev has become a mentor and a father figure to him.

At one point later in life, Zhenya lost his entire left arm, which is now replaced by an advanced prosthetic. He has been working out and doing combat training for a while now, and after losing his arm he has been training both with and without the prosthetic, so if he ever has to work without it, he doesn't become lost, not knowing what to do without both arms.

He also plays bayan (a type of accordion).

Joseph "Joey" Lebedenko (he/him): early 20s, Ukrainian American, omni demisexual, cis. Autistic.

He's studying culinary arts, and he's also good at drawing. He speaks Ukrainian fairly well and loves to visit his Ukrainian grandparents. He's also Jewish, and he plays ukulele. He's friends with Zhenya.

Lev Sapozhnik (he/him): 40s (technically much older), Russian, achillean arospec asexual, trans. Autistic.

He's a powerful magic user, who was born in the mid 1920s and used to be a Soviet supersoldier known as the Red Hope (ru: Красная Надежда; translit: Krasnaya Nadezhda), mainly serving during WWII. He defected in the mid 1950s and later went missing during a storm at sea. He was presumed dead for decades, until he was found in the late 2000s in a sort of "frozen" state and then unfrozen. The reason he wasn't found sooner is because he was only searched for in the regular world, while he actually ended up in the magical realm.

In present day, he's not affiliated with any nation state in the regular world, and he lives in the magical realm. He explicitly opposes the current Russian government, which they are unhappy about, since they want him back in their military, and they don't want him to potentially inspire currently depoliticized Russians to actively oppose the government.

He's fluent in Russian, German and English, can speak some Georgian, and is learning Spanish. He also plays guitar and is skilled at drawing and sewing. He's a regular at the cafe Cyrus works at and is friends with him.

Desmond Yang (he/him): 40s, Chinese, bi, cis. ADHD.

He's a mage. He's multilingual. He's a historian and a linguist, and he's the owner of a library in the magical realm, which contains books in several languages. He has translated multiple books into other languages, and he has some original writing projects of his own. He's also friends with Lev.

Marco Gromov (he/him): 31 y/o, Russian Argentinian, bi aceflux, cis. Autistic, ADHD.

His name is technically Marcos, but he has largely dropped the 'S' at the end. He wears glasses with purple lenses. Technology and clean/renewable energy are big special interests of his, and he's currently trying to create more efficient solar panels, being quite skilled with tech. He's also dating Luna.

Luna Rosado (they/them, she/her): 30 y/o, Dominican, pan, transfem non-binary. Autistic.

They're a mage, and they're also a pretty good artist. Their special interest is astronomy, and they know how to find out what position stars and planets were in at different points in time. Another interest of theirs is plants, particularly flowers. They have a few fidget necklaces. They're also dating Marco.

Reynaldo Rosado (he/him): early to mid 50s, Dominican, aroace, cis. Autistic.

He's the father of Luna. He realized he was aroace after he and Melania already had Luna, and while they chose to get divorced, they remained friends. Luna largely stayed with him, and he's a kind and supportive father to them. He's also good at cooking.

Melania Espinosa (she/her): early to mid 50s, Dominican, straight, cis.

She's the mother of Luna. She remained in Luna's life after the divorce. She eventually got married again, and her new spouse turned out to be a trans woman. They chose to stay married, since both still found their relationship fulfilling, and she still loved her wife despite not normally being attracted to women. They have two daughters together.

Lilah Swift (she/her): late 40s/early 50s, Australian, sapphic cupiosexual, trans. Autistic, ADHD.

She's the wife of Melania, who she has two daughters with. She chose not to do voice training and has a higher masculine voice. History has always been an interest of hers, and she has a PhD in it, but in recent years she has also become interested in specifically Russian history, in part due to meeting Lev.

Samantha "Sam" Espinosa (she/her, they/them): 14-15 y/o, Dominican Australian, omni, demigirl. ADHD.

Daughter of Melania and Lilah, half-sister of Luna and older twin sister of Viv. She works out, and she likes to play fight and compete with her cousin Howie.

Viviana-Rocio "Viv" Espinosa (she/her): 14-15 y/o, Dominican Australian, sapphic, cis. Autistic.

Daughter of Melania and Lilah, half-sister of Luna and younger twin sister of Sam. Wears braces. She loves frogs and is generally interested in learning about nature.

Cyrus Swift (he/him): mid to late 50s, Australian, gay demiromantic asexual, genderqueer/genderless, intersex. Autistic, ADHD.

He's the older brother of Lilah. He can shapeshift into a cougar. He retains his sharp fangs and ability to purr even in human form. He has scars on the right side of his face and his right arm, which he got during a fight in his cougar form. He's partners with Steven and they have two children together. He works as a bartender at a café, and he sometimes performs as a drag queen.

Steven E. Burns (he/him): mid 50s, Jamaican, pan acespec, trans. Autistic.

He's Cyrus's partner. He has been living in the magical realm with Cyrus and the kids for many years. He enjoys working out and is still in good physical shape. He works as a P.E. teacher at a local school. He also plays guitar.

Kimberly Swift-Burns (she/her): 18-19 y/o, Jamaican Australian, lesbian, genderqueer. Autistic.

She's the daughter of Cyrus and Steven. Her main interests are history and literature, with her picking up the former from her aunt Lilah.

Howard "Howie" Swift-Burns (he/him): 16 y/o, Jamaican Australian, achillean aroacespec, cis. Autistic.

He's the son of Cyrus and Steven. He has an interest in mechanical engineering and tech. He works out and is practicing hand-to-hand combat. He also plays guitar, having learned it from Steven.

Okay, here's where the current plan is at regarding flings and villain romances. I changed some stuff around so there's no gender lock on any:

Fling-Only Options:

Shadow Circuit Origin-Exclusive: Mac (Act I) (M/F)

Dead Drop Origin-Exclusive: Misha (Act II) (M/F)

Empire District Origin-Exclusive: Enderetz (Act III) (M-Augustus/F-Evangeline)

Any Origin: Hart (Act I) (M/F)

Any Origin: Tate (Act II) (M/F)

Villain Flings that can become Endgame:

Kitzler, 'The Eccentric Backer' (M/F)

Ōtake, 'The CEO' (M/F)

Both villain flings start properly from Act III but there's breadcrumb interactions leading up to that point that you can take whether you have an RO or not.

Your ROs won't automatically break things off with you if you have flings in Act I and II (they might not be HAPPY but at this point things CAN be settled—if they don't decide to join you). But for many reasons that are obvious, the other two aren't so easy to talk your way out of.

The villains are considered late-game ROs, and will be more developed than flings and less than the main ROs, for obvious reasons. Certain endings will unlock from these romances. I love these two characters very much and really wanted the option to romance the antagonists because I ADORE that in IFs.

I watched a video of Jensen ackles opinion on the scene in 7x17 where Dean returns Cas’ coat, and he said it was out of character for Dean to have it folded up like that. Which I thought was really interesting because I disagree completely. Dean, as a character, is extremely emotional. He feels a lot and he cares a lot and so much so, that he has to repress so much of it to get through his life.

Whether you ship Destiel or not, Dean obviously cared tremendously about Cas. During Cas’ very brief stint as Emmanuel, Dean tells him: “I used to be able to just shake this stuff off. You know, whatever it was. It might take some time, but... I always could. What Cas did... I just can't - I don't know why.”

While I do interpret this as an indication of his romantic feelings for Castiel, either way, this line is Dean stating very obviously that what happened with Castiel has been weighing very heavily on him and he thinks about it a lot. It also shows just how deeply he cared for Castiel.

The trench coat is the last thing left of this person he cares about. What’s he supposed to do with it? He wouldn’t throw it away. THAT’S out of character. I think it’d be in character for Dean to burn the coat as as a final goodbye, the traditional hunters funeral, but it’s canon that a part of Dean believed Cas would come back. The line is in the promo for the episode and Jensen & Misha even mention it being in the original script. Which means no burning the coat.

Then what is he going to do with it? He wouldn’t just throw it somewhere haphazardly. When you lose someone, you treat whatever is left of them with the love you have for the person that’s gone. That’s grief. So, OF COURSE he folded it nice and neatly. I don’t think it’s out of character at all.

When it comes to the fact that he had the coat with him in a stolen car, that’s when we definitively cross the threshold into romantic territory. I think the place the coat made the most sense, from a platonic perspective, is stored somewhere in either their cabin or Bobby’s house.

Dean had to constantly, purposefully transfer this coat from stolen car to stolen car. The coats only purpose is to remind him of Cas. It’s not like the coat actually does anything. Cas doesn’t NEED the coat, so it’s not like he kept it on him at all times because it’s important that Cas have the coat if he were to come back.

I don’t personally think it is out of character for Dean to do what he did. I think Jensen thinks it’s out of character because he viewed the whole thing as romantic and doesn’t believe Dean is in love with Cas. And while I agree the whole thing feels romantic, I don’t think the act of folding the coat neatly is inherently romantic or out of character. It’s just grief.
