my parents converted my (former) bedroom into an office when i moved out, but they kept the dinosaurs

(they also kept the pastel drawing of a bunch of vases that i made for high school art)

kill me !!! completely disassembled my desk and re assembled it mirrored to set up the TV. hated that and hated the idea of waiting two weeks to change it back so completely disassembled it AGAIN . to mirror it back and well. now I have to make an amazon account to use my tv but I. have a tv. I want to watch a movie

#my desk has 3 legs and and a cabinet as the 4th so had to move the leg TWICE .#also had to change the order of my monitors and replug Everything in twiceeee #and move a lamp. and the router.

i finally cleaned my desk look at how good this is!!

#clai speaks #ignore the not one not two but Four lamps. extra ignore the fact i want a fifth one bc i saw one shaped like a cute toaster in the city #god i was so awful about just piling stuff on my desk and leaving it there. that zelda poster fell off my wall a week ago #i cant use the monitor yet bc the pc doesnt have a graphics card but i think putting it there will stop me from piling anymore #now i have to clean the drawer orz #please pay attention to my pudding capsule toy under the monitor btw. one of my favorite possessions its so silly

It's such a niche fucking issue but why the fuck is the default setting for a monitor being off having a light fucking on???? Why 😭😭😭

Like I kinda understand you need to know if the power is connecting properly but I hate it and I want that fucking light obliterated.

I am staying at someones house for like a month and I lasted a week but this fucking tv light is so fucking bright I can see everything in the fucking room.

#I spent 30 mins trying to change the settings but surprise there is no systems setting #only despair and rage #I know its an option I did it for my monitor at home #anyway I switched it off and it will stay that way for the rest of my visit #balarai rambles #I crave the darkness #I already am dealing with a snoring doggo and a salt lamp in the lounge room #that was fine #the light tonight was the last straw and now I need to VENT #it's been a long day

my property manager is ignoring me :((( I messaged him like 4 days ago to be like hey none of the lights are working would you be able to come see what's wrong and he just hasn't responded to me 😭 now our shower doors broke aswell so I've had to like triple message him to be like yeah we can't close the shower door either can you pls try to fix it 🙏🙏 like I understand if he's busy and can't do it right away but at least respond to tell me yk

do u think fyodor is a ceiling lamp, floor lamp, desk lamp, candles or computer screen light only (even when he's not engrossed in work) type of guy?

I think it depends on the room setup. Because if he has all those monitors in his space like in the anime I think he leaves them on constantly and it is a bright enough glow he rarely considers turning on another kind of light. In another space without that I see him using desk or table lamps, or a floor lamp if he doesn't have those right there. I feel like he rarely touches overheard lights just out of habit. Like when the transition from candles to oil lamps happened it was similar to him. But electricity was a lamp situation for him where he directly was, even when he had more options than that in his spaces. Same till now out of habit and comfort.

#for bulbs soft light is preferred for him with that more yellow glow. but i think he would enjoy candles or gas lamps still #maybe more impractical or maybe not. if he constantly moves spaces and has to adjust his setup i honestly could see him having ivan #bring such things along esp if there are limited outlet options. computers and monitors take precedence for him so if a table lamp doesnt #work easily for the space then why not bust out something electricity free?#on that same note i see him as detesting harsh flourscent lights. he might not dislike the ones with a filter cover on them to #make them less bad but still i dont think he would use them if he can avoid it #like the only non soft light he prefers i the blue light of his monitors ofc #such a ramble hopefully that wasnt more than you bargained for lol #-Lue asks

I got my computer back yesterday, but I was too tired to set it up. I've got it all plugged in now, and I've got internet again! Haven't lost it yet. YouTube is a little slower than normal, but once the video starts, there is no buffering.
