Werewolf Steve who is in wolf form playing fetch with Eddie and Robin. Robin's tosses are high but not far, and Steve dances in circles under the stick until it comes back down and he can catch it. Eddie tosses far but not high, and Steve always has to dart to catch it before it hits the ground.

Eddie has the stick in his hand, looks at Steve then the stick and back a couple of times. And Steve, yeah he can be patient, but now is not the time for Eddie to contemplate! It is time for him to throw. Steve let's out a little bark that snaps Eddie out of his thoughts. Eddie winds his arms back, Steve wiggles slightly as he gears up to run. Eddie throws and Steve bolts-

Except there is no stick. It takes a full second before Steve realizes. He turns back and Eddie still has the stick in his hands. Robin is cackling, arms wrapped around her middle as she wheezes. Eddie is laughing too, tears steaming down his face.

Steve huffs and turns on his heels away from them. "Baby, I'm sorry!" Eddie calls in between laughter. The stick lands pathetically next to Steve. Steve glances down at it, makes sure they are watching, turns his nose up at it and walks away.

Thank God splatoon 3 didn't end up introducing a playable cuttlefish dlc like I feared last year (I honestly don't think we need more new playable species, would've been too sudden, my expectations were on the floor after rotm) but the cuttlefish visuals are still so suspicious to me. This hat has to be on purpose. That's absolutely not a fucking squid or octopus

And this is undeniably a cuttlefish (and the double fin shape resembles the hat)

Like how the lack of mammals in the splatoon world and ark Polaris was something suspicious in the previous games, and characters like marigold and Glen fiddler and lil judd are suspicious now.... It's way more subtle but I think this could be the splatoon team planting some seeds in case they decide to introduce cuttlefish as a separate species in the splatoon world. ill be keeping it in the back of my mind

Idk what was in the air that day they were being just so them idek. Like in a span of 60 seconds it's twice that Lukey calls Pangi like that and if you notice Pangi responds his "mhmm?" in the same inflection that Lukey called his name in

Lukey just loves toying with Pangi and treats him like his own stress toy to just push and pull with - hitting him, going upto him to get hit and Pangi obliges — no matter how much he sighs or shakes his head — he always obliges in their little game. tr!Pangi subconsciously has always known to enjoy power and you can see with how much ease he just hits Lukey without even breaking a sweat and walks away and only stops when Lukey calls him back like that.

And we already know how much Lukey enjoys the power balance as if his giggles throughout the whole thing weren't already an obvious clue. But yeah does he have to say Pangi's name like that like stand up dear god 😭😭

But I feel it's really cute that there's this familiarity in their interactions like a rehearsed dance that a third party will really not get if they're not used to them being idiots like this.

Waiting for future reveal that Marius took the memories Armand was able to recollect about his past in Delhi.

In The Vampire Armand it lines up with the show that due to the trauma Armand faces while kidnapped, enslaved, and abused in the brothel, he had little memory of his life in Delhi, but would still remember fragments here and there.

Armand's first memory he tells Daniel about in 1973, Armand is being run down by slavers.

I think Marius forced Armand to believe he was sold by his parents so that he'd stop longing for his past/culture/religion, and focus on cult de Romanus.

like the contrast of Arun's parents selling him to slavers in the show vs Andrei's father in The Vampire Armand chasing after the raiders that took his son while wounded by multiple arrows (and weeping and begging him to stay when they reunite later on), It'd be such a drastic thing for the show to change about his character, that instead of being taken from a family who loved him he was sold by said family instead??

I've always been like wow memory erasing what a crazy ability for them to introduce in the show...wonder where he learned that from...

Obviously from what Armand believes about his family, I don't think we'll get Armand going back to his homeland flashback scenes like in the book. I think instead Marius deliberately took that opportunity away from him by convincing him he was never loved until Marius and there is nothing for him to go back to.

Just another way for him to have full control and devotion from Amedeo.

Always loved the idea of Broly being the non-canonical foil to Goku. Both ostracized from the Saiyan race and its culture, and patronized by their elites. Both the lost survivors of Planet Vegeta. Both encouraged to keep their true Saiyan nature hidden. Both suffered a traumatic injury that altered their psyche as a newborn. Both murdered their father in a fit. Both are the Legendary Super Saiyan. Both seem to (at least, at first) lack a tail. Both are based off of Sun Wukong.

But that's where similarities end.

Broly is dressed in jewelry and garb, imitating royalty that discarded him. Goku, on the other hand, dresses humbly in gi. Broly's the idealistic Saiyan, Goku is ironically the idealistic human. Broly was collared by his Saiyan father, Goku was sent away. Broly is selfish, Goku is selfless. Broly took joy in his patricide, Goku did not. Goku roars into his Saiyan form, but Broly literally explodes. Goku was sent away from Planet Vegeta, but Broly was ushered into himself with the decimation of the planet.

Z Broly is the anti-Goku. Broly is Goku if everything was wrong.

look my whole thing with this is that bec noir has an event horizon level of affection with jade. in canon homestuck, he doesnt touch that event horizon. but if jade like smiled at him a few times or gave him 1 shoulder pat, i think he'd start reconsidering his "kill everything" plan AT LEAST for a moment. and if she gave him snausages he would cross that event horizon, and he would kind of hate himself the whole time but he would do just about anything she said. unfortunately jade is not a manipulator really.

I’m not really into arcane like that but I’ve watched s1 with my friend, who has been reporting to me the really abrupt tonal changes in the show and the many contradictory directions to the first season that the political scene in the show has taken.

I really can’t help but notice that those certain tonal changes seem to be very conveniently aligned with the values that a certain state has been trying to push in western media since October last year…. It honestly really sounds like the original season 2 plot was scrapped in favour of turning it into bland propaganda as a way to desensitise people to what’s actually happening in the world (through “humanising” the real life perpetrators’ actions by cloaking them in the skins of established beloved characters (AND ITS WORKING!! YALL ARE FALLING FOR IT!!! WHAT THE FUCK?) because the talking points both in the show and the fandom ESPECIALLY are really starting to sound familiar and it’s actually maybe kinda terrifying.

I’m very open for CIVIL discussion on this, I’m just giving my opinion as a third, comparatively unbiased party because I’m not emotionally attached to the show. I’m not outright saying s2 is outright propaganda for that state. What I AM saying is that you should not trust any creators who claim their work isn’t political because ALL ART IS POLITICAL (that statement in itself is political) and the way you interact with it is too, by association. Consume media with a critical lens please I’m begging.
