I saw your post talking about chewing on the Eucharist and I am still confused by it because I thought it was okay to chew it a little so if I was receiving the Blood that I wouldn't have the Eucharist all over my tongue, but it would be swallowed. So is using your teeth whatsoever bad?

hi this is a good question and I’m not entirely sure if it has an answer lol. obviously all of us should be consuming the Eucharist in a reverent way. if you choose to chew, just make sure you chew reverently (ie, not with your mouth open or making loud chewing noises or anything like that lol). my post was mostly a joke though, don’t take me too seriously :)

Being someone who read Under The Red Hood and came out with the firm belief that, for Jason, it's not about killing Joker, it's about Jason wanting proof Batman would choose him over the Joker (bc shelia chose the joker). Makes seeing any other media where it's all about just wanting the Joker dead is a teeny bit frustrating. to be honest

Jason could've killed the Joker himself, really, really easily. Jason kidnaps the Joker before the confrontation. I can't open my comic for a reference right now, but it felt like he had the Joker for quite a bit before the confrontation. He had him. He beat him up with a crowbar. He had every single opportunity to kill the Joker himself, but he didn't because that wasn't his goal. Make no mistake, he did plan for the Joker to be dead by the end of it, but do you see what im trying to say here

It's not about making Batman kill either. When Batman says he won't kill, Jason adjusts and goes, 'Let ME kill the Joker or kill me to stop me' instead. The test is all about Batman choosing him. The whole final confrontation is Jason's first death again. The parent, The Joker, and the explosives. It even ends with Jason unable to move as a bomb goes off right next to him again because the parent didn't choose Jason. And instead tried finding an option that'd benefit them and (consequencely) letting the Joker walk, again, lol, lmao <-in agony

I LOVE your art!! especially the very specific ways to depict intimacy. It feels very real, it's so so tender but there is often that sheer layer of tension that makes me want to consume as much as your art as possible. You probably mean my current main characters, Vasco (the golden floppy-eared dog) and Machete (the pointy white dog). They're a couple living in the late 16th century Italy, at the very end of the Renaissance era. Vasco comes from a wealthy noble background and has a career in politics. Machete is a catholic cardinal, and as a secretary of state he oversees Vatican's foreign politics. Due to their surroundings they have to keep their relationship strictly secret.

Vasco originates in and lives in Florence. Machete is originally from Sicily and lives in Rome. They first met in their late teens/early adulthood when they were both studying in Venice. They were best friends before their feelings deepened, but eventually they had to separate. Machete graduated and was ordained a priest as intended. Vasco dropped out and returned home, where his family pressured him into wedlock. He ended up in a lavender marriage with a lesbian noblewoman named Ludovica (the red and white spaniel), she also has her own partner (still unnamed). Vasco and Ludovica are close friends, they get along well and cover each others' backs, but their union is purely platonic.

Machete and Vasco reunited in their early thirties by random chance, largely because they both work in foreign relations, and quickly resumed where they left off. They don't live together and can only see each other intermittently. Usually it's Vasco who visits Machete in Rome under the guise of working as a Florentine ambassador, but sometimes Machete manages to find an excuse to travel to see Vasco as well. They stay together for over a decade, meeting in secret and maintaining regular correspondence when their duties keep them apart (and quietly come to regard each other as their spouse), until Machete gets assassinated in his early/mid fourties. Vasco lives to his seventies and dies of old age.

They also have a modern au, which works as a sort of a reincarnation situation. They get to be a couple openly, get married eventually and grow old together.

they get placed on the floor next to Red. on top is a note in red ink. it reads as follows:

a few of the letters had lines struck through them. as if Dark's hand occasionally jerked trying to write on it.

above... two floating gloves? one of them made a peace sign as some sort of greeting.

this was probably the only way hed be able to be seen or interact with the world as he was for most. he hoped cat red did not somehow misunderstand the situation. in fact he offered one of the gloved hands to be sniff-inspected. as was the courtesy with cats.

red walked over to the flags on the ground, sniffing them briefly, as they started to purr after realizing what they were, not only that, but who they were from

his attention was towards the letter briefly, ( miraculously, still able to read whilst being a cat ), eventually glancing up to eye the gloved hands above

however, despite the gloves being at red's eye level, red kept....glancing upwards occasionally ? almost as if xe saw something...rather someone...?

red sniffed the glove, silently appreciative over the courtesy, but as she did so, her gaze now was steadily eyeing up, briefly squinting, as their head slightly tilts in curiosity, almost as if trying to discern if what xe sees is real, or not

odd....its almost as if they could faintly see dark....?

Ouh. I really like how out of all the antagonists in the series, Prism's motivations (and her turning to Zoraxis) are directly influenced by Phoenix's track record. She has the most personal beef with the agent, though it's a little ironic that her TK implant helped the agent's success. If it weren't for Prism, Phoenix wouldn't be the legend that they are known for.

...Except...That's minimizing Phoenix's own ingenuity and skill with the implant, isn't it? It's a useful tool, yes! But in the end, it's just a tool. Phoenix was able to use it in unique ways, and that's not counting whatever else Phoenix has to do in the moment without TK. If it weren't for Phoenix's own efforts (and their strange ability to not Die), Prism wouldn't be forced to take revenge.

They're their own self-made people, but inevitably they left such a huge impact on each other before the third game...and if Prism wasn't the one who personally added the implant in Phoenix's head, then they haven't even interacted in person!

It could be seen as a little tragic, and it sorta is--Prism's desire for revenge is a little misplaced (and, yes, it is bolstered by Zor when she switches to their side). For all we know, Phoenix never intended to be the villain in Prism's story. But Prism's frustrated and angry and devastated about being reduced to the One Project she made. She just wanted to make something bigger than herself.

And it's really nice to see Phoenix help her once she recognizes that Zor's been using her all this time...even if it takes some time for Prism to really let them help her.

It takes the combination of their unique skills, brainpower, and their eventual trust in one another to destroy Zor's volcano kinesium base. Prism gets saved by the person she thought made her dreams impossible, and in return, Phoenix gets saved in the one IEYTD ending where they're not declared legally dead. I feel like that's something interesting? Because this is also the one finale where Phoenix has an active ally working with them close to their side (...as close as Prism and Phoenix could get, anyway).

Well. Anyway. What was I talking about? Enemies who are closely intertwined with one another's journeys end up becoming each other's most important allies? Okay, yeah. Let's go with that.

Okay, going to discuss this in relation to events prior to the introduction of mc to the plot, so here's some pre-narnia au information:

Moon and Sun start out as two fauns - twins, entirely inseparable, they do everything together. Read, roll down grassy hills, make flower crowns, play, anything and everything. Later on in their technical youth, there's rumors of a rabbit ascending to power in the Far Lands, and he's summoning any able animal within the kingdom for aid.

Sun and Moon are handpicked for...special reasons, to which they aren't privy to - all they know is they're helping the kingdom and given the titles of knights! They're tasked with finding the Sons and Daughters of Adam (aka humans) and bringing them to the palace - and, to two average fauns who've only ever heard stories of humans, such a prospect sounds absolutely wonderful!

But something about it doesn't sit right with them - or Sun, at the very least. Moon is 'promoted' and ascends higher up the ranks, while Sun's reluctance leaves him right where he started. The two brothers still talk, but there's much less to talk about when you're leading two entirely separate lives. Plus, Moon's starting to speak much less, thoughts more distant...Sun finds it best to avoid topics of work.

Unfortunately, certain incidents lead to the brother's relationship falling apart completely after Sun finds out what exactly they're collecting the humans for. Walking into the Stone Garden, a silent graveyard of cemented bodies, with his brother proudly showcasing his new 'friends' and accomplishments, and how kind their new King is to have gifted them so many new acquaintances...

And Sun is horrified. At the prospect of sending little humans, little children, to their deaths, to be encased in stone...and at the fact that Moon sees nothing wrong with it.

There's a bit of a falling out - less of a falling out, really, more of the dawning of the realization upon Sun that his brother has unknowingly become a monster...and, though Moon can't see it, he has - cotton tail matted and grown, soft doe ears sharp and pricked...Moon hasn't realized, but his form has become more akin to a wolf than a lamb.

Turns out, unbeknownst to either of them, though Sun does get an inkling of suspicion towards this later on, that The Rabbit has been pulling a great deal of strings under the table - messing with soul magic, corrupted magic, things that are and shouldn't be. Slow decay of their kingdom's environment, the rot within the souls of its inhabitants, the compulsion to bring them here, bring them, make them safe...

Sun tries to resist the urge to take the humans and add them to Afton's collection because he sees it as immoral and horrific. Meanwhile, Moon doesn't see that part of the goal. He genuinely believes that the safest course of action is to take the human to the Stone Garden and protect them. He doesn't really care what Afton does. All he knows is that the children started crying-he never understood why they started crying. There was nothing to be afraid of, and if there was, he would protect them from it-and then there was silence.

It's always silent in the statue garden.

So I was thinking about how the solution to Legendarium (and adulting in general! And arguably other things) is always "the secret third solution, but you can't try to cheat, and it'll be harder than you think" (sorry, I can't phrase it better. But see: B&L, Fingon rescuing Maedhros, what to do with the Ring, probably a lot of other things I forgot).

And I thought about Turgon sending all those sailors to Valinor, which kinda was the third option, and asked myself: what if Turgon sailed himself? (Leaving ruling the city to Idril for example).

It feels like something that might have worked despite the ban and all (it is out-of-the-box, and he was Ulmo's fav Elf). (Yes, I know it is said that Earendil got to Valinor only because he had the Silmaril.)
