Both Kermit the Frog and Cookie Monster were featured in the Got Milk? ad campaign.

The advertisement featuring Kermit first appeared in the May 31 issue of Time magazine.

The Cookie Monster advertisement was featured on buses, billboards, and in Time Square.

Despite his resemblance to Bela Lugosi's portrayal of Dracula, The Count's status as a vampire is questionable.

While the specification chart in the 1998 style guides says Count von Count's only similarities to Dracula are visual, his profile on the Sesame Workshop webpage suggested that he is related to the famous vampire.

Additionally, the creator of Count von Count, Norman Stiles, said to performer Jerry Nelson that The Count is "a vampire, but not a real vampire."

However, in his WIRED interview, Count von Count said in response to the question "Is the Count on Sesame Street a vampire?": "Yes, but I am a vampire with an unquenchable thirst for numbers." This is in reference to traditional vampires who exhibited arithmomania.

Even though Count von Count has never been explicitly labeled as a vampire on screen, the current information leaves it ambiguous at best.

it’s commendable how Jim Henson knew that making a variety show that happens to star puppets would inevitably be pigeonholed as a kids show so he chose the name THE MUPPET SHOW: SEX AND VIOLENCE for the pilot to try to avoid that and then it still didn’t work

Hello croaker nation and associates, we got approved for a Wiki!!! For the past few months, I have been working on filling it out. I'm slowly learning how to use the editor and how to format things, it's very fun!

I do think it's starting to get to a place where I feel comfortable sharing it, and asking others to help where they can. There are a lot of characters and stories to cover in our little community here, and I only have two hands at the moment! There are many people who have made tremendous efforts to archive parts of the Croakerverse, as well as make it more accessible and have helped massively, whether directly or indirectly. I see you, and I am very grateful for you and your hard work.

Got to love Sesame Street for that!

the way sesame street, a pbs puppet show for literal babies, is pressing on with pride content despite vitriolic monsters descending on every post to insinuate they're pedophiles or demons while some of the biggest companies on the planet who could swim in olympic swimming pools of money like scrooge mcduck on steroids buckle and cave just emphasizes how completely and utterly pathetic these corporations are. they'd butcher a baby if it meant saving a penny.

I remember seeing a post here with a video of one of the Dashcon 2 organisers yelling "THE MUPPET JOKER IS CANONICALLY DEAD" but I can't find it, if anyone can then please tag me in it, I need it for archival purposes
