11. Who leaves notes in the other one's lunch? (Bonus: what do they say?)

There is no possible answer to this other than Wille "Simphelm" [Last name yet to be determined] <3 You just KNOW this fool gets up early just so he can prepare lunch for the love of his life (and I'm convinced he's gonna get better at making not completely dry sandwiches and even other lunch foods once they move together and he gets in more practice). He's got a varied staple of sweet little messages like "have the best day <3" or "good morning sleepy <3" or "good luck with your presentation" that he'll vary depending on the occasion, but occasionally he'll just leave a silly drawing in there or, when he inevitably gets obsessed with cheesy pick-up lines for a hot moment and his sense of humor revolves around stupid phrases for a few weeks he of course doesn't miss his chance to also annoy Simon with them while he's gone from home. So ofc Simon finds notes that say "hate to see you go, but love to watch you leave" or "I think we go together like breakfast and lunch" logged between a sandwich or a glass of pasta salad and a piece of fruit.

14. Who falls asleep during a movie?

Going off what you said about their sleeping habits because I agree so much: Simon!!! He hits a soft surface and is ready to nap, while Wille is just a bit too restless for that. But it's okay, because when Simon falls asleep he has a tendency to do so while half on top of Wille and any movie is better with a snuggly Simon and with Wille able to lazily play with his hair for a little.

33. What is their wedding day like?

Okay, so.... I really think they wouldn't want a huge wedding. Like, they still might have to have one officially, who knows, but I'm convinced that they'd find a way to have a special little moment just for themselves beforehand, because fuck official royal obligations. I can see them getting the paperwork ready and very sneakily going off to get the thing sealed all by themselves or maybe they'd bring Felice and Sara along with them, because... duh, those two have witnessed the very rocky beginnings of their love story, so why wouldn't they witness the beginnings of a whole new chapter as well.

Of course they'd get married in the Summer, because that is their season and I'd like to believe that, after their beautifully uncomplicated and unspectacular appointment, where they both, despite the casualness of it all, still very much get teary-eyed while exchanging rings, they get in a car with Sara and Felice (who is also crying quite a bit, but that might be those early pregnancy months hormones) and drive off, out of the city and into the countryside.

And maybe they return to one of those spots where they stopped to have a picknick with gas station snack, back during that faithful summer road trip, except this time they're well-prepared, they've got blankets and sandwiches and strawberries (and okay, yeah, maybe also a few gas station snacks for old times sake...) and they spend the afternoon doing nothing else, just eating, laughing, hiding and not hiding the occasional tear when they remember how fickle everything felt back in the day and how uncertain they were that the future would treat them kindly and how very sure of forever together they are now, a beautiful sunny summer day, somehow so much like all those summer days they've already spent together, and yet much more special than any sort of royal ceremony could ever be.

okay so i think i’ve decided to call my new series “Blood Runs Cold” or something like that and if anyone has something that sounds better pls tell my cuz i’m still not sure

i’ll make a masterlist for that and get all the tags and everything organized soon

i really just wanna write for like the entire rest of the day. i think i’ll just make myself finish tllr chapter 13 cuz i’m almost done and reallyyyy wanna get that and 14 out before february cuz that was my original goal. i’ve been procrastinating a lot and i Hate that so hopefully i can motivate myself somehow

idk when i’ll start posting chapters of the new series because right now it’s a bit overwhealming lol like i get soooo excited and happy thinking about aspen and silas :)) and just cannot sit still and actually focus on writing about them. but it’s definitely gonna be cool as shit. also i think another thing, like the chapters won’t be nearly as long as the tllr ones because those are looong and i want this series to be more kinda simpler in terms of the plot/lore if that makes sense? like idk the chapters will be shorter but probably update wayy more frequently is what i’m saying. but who knows

and i haven’t forgotten about all those drawing requests that were sent, i just haven’t gotten to it yet i guess (i told u guys i needed deadlines /lh /j) and there’s a bunch of asks and tag games i gotta do too but forgot about. i’m not ignoring u guys i’ve been busy with new blorbos and also very low on spoons lately. oh yeah and all those tllr aus,, i’m still gonna write them but like i said. currently out of spoons

Thoughts about the new ones under the cut!

Mother and kit: Ferncloud, Spiderkit and Shrewkit

Ferncloud's among the best mothers in Warriors, no doubt about that. Poor mama had to go through so much and was incredibly screwed over by the writing and fandom... She deserved much more than she ever got and I stand by that.

Father and kit: Birchfall, Dovekit and Ivykit

Mostly headcanon based...... save me favorite character headcanons....save meeeee..... In all seriousness, there aren't many father and kit relationships I care about because the books barley care :/ Even those who arguably should be in their children's lives barley interact with them. You're telling me that Birchfall was so excited to be a father, which was shown in multiple scenes in Sunrise, only to hardly show him interacting with his children when they are kits/apprentices, to the point people forgot he was the father? Excuse me while I go scream in a corner >x/

Grandparent and kit: Sandstorm, Alderkit and Sparkkit

One that hasn't changed! Now including a Sparkkit because she should have had a relationship with her grandma too :/ The relationship Sandstorm and Alderheart have hits really close to home because it reminds me of the relationship I had my late grandmother.

Siblings: Leafpool and Squirrelstar

Another one that hasn't changed because truthfully there is no completion to be held. There are so many sibling relationships that I adore (The Three, The DustFern kids, Alderheart and Sparkpelt to name a few) but none of them hold a candle to Leafp and Squilf. Love how they held together through thick and thin, no matter how hard the stakes against them were.

Friendship: Jayfeather and Briarlight

To be clear, I still enjoy the JayBriar ship, just not as much as I used too. I also like to view them as a QPR these days as well. I've bumped them over to friendship because I love their friendship in the books and honestly? I'm really glad and have come to appreciate that that's all they are. They're just such a fun dynamic in general.

Mentor and Apprentice: Whitewing and Icepaw

I also don't really care for mentor's and apprentice's relationships in the books... because the books don't care either. BUT! I always I really enjoyed the detail that Firestar apprenticed Icepaw to Whitewing because of their white fur. So this is again mostly headcanon based but I really like the idea that they were really close, even after Icecloud's warrior ceremony. ^^ (Also love the idea that Ice teased White about her relationship with Birch, lol)

Gay Ship: Ravenpaw X Barley

I really liked Ravenpaw's Farewell :') It hit me right in the feels and a great way to close of both Ravenpaw's and Barley's character arcs. Also by the time I'm coming around to posting this they've become canon! Congrats RavenBarley ^^

Straight Ship (so say the books..): Whitewing X Birchfall

MY BLORBOSSSS!!!!! Yeah this should not come as a surprise for those who regularly see my stuff. I love their characters AND relationship to bits and pieces. hxghfxygsgdhf- anyways small headcanon Birchfall is the only cat that can make her laugh

Lesbian Ship: Willowshine X Hollyleaf

I really loved their friendship in Dark River, and I think they had a good groundwork for romantic chemistry too! I also find that the fundamentals of this relationship, especially romantically, can really test Hollyleaf's devotion to the code. What is more important, the code she values so much or a cat she has come to love despite the borders between them? It's even more interesting if we headcanon Willowshine herself as half-clan, who sees no shame in it.
